I. Basic Information
» Name: Faye Tahlite
» Alias: None
» Age: 14
» Gender: Female
» Affiliation/Rank: No affiliation with an Organization,
Obakeyashi High School, Obakeyashi Ghost Hunting Club, Obakeyashi Track Team
» Physical Appearance Description: A little under 160 centimeters Faye is tall for her age at 5'2" but nothing to brag about, lightweight and skinny from her habits of running the family dog in the mornings. She wears her hair out, with the option of using a few clips to hold the fringe back while on a run. Soft and blue her hair barely skims her shoulders and is neatly cut on a regular basis by her mother. Having used to have her hair long it is a little odd for her to have such short hair, the styles she can use is limited and Faye occasionally mentions missing her long hair yet still gets it regularly trimmed. Despite the slightly odd shade of hair and matching blue eyes her face shape and skin tone is Japanese without a hint of anything else. Dressing in practical clothes such as simple short skirts, leggings and shorts she prefers to stay simple in her outfits. Being slightly short sighted she normally wears contact lenses but also owns a pair of glasses.

I. Personality Traits
» Personality: There's a reason for being blunt, it's simply that everyone it a little too annoying, or rather everything is a little too annoying. Who doesn't need some pessimism to brighten up the day. Not that Faye is too pessimistic, just the proper blend of realistic and being blunt. There's no point in lying to others just to make their day better, half the time it leads to bad situations anyway. This mentality of being the one to always have to remind her friends of the truth and bring them back down to earth can lead to Faye tending to overstressing, thinking a little too much about situations and with an overactive imagination that could only lead to being overly dramatic. To those who aren't familiar with her tendencies it would appear that she's simply being rude, blatantly stating far fetched ideas of possible consequences of an action, yet that is merely the odd mixture of being blunt and over imaginative.
That thing annoying people say 'patience is a virtue' well it's indeed one that Faye is lacking it, she has some for sure but when its gone its gone. After succeeding in annoying her, as well as on particularly stressful or emotional days Faye slides into a sarcastically petty and over positive mood. Mocking many with statements that'd seem kind written on paper when used with a tone of sarcasm she uses it to act rather petty and will make some rather rude comments.
Like many her age there is a hint of anxiety within, however this does not majorly affect her life, she is not particularly smart in school and gets average marks with moderate study done, on occasion when Faye studies hard with a tutor she may rise slightly higher but nothing close to the realm of genius. A member of the track team Faye enjoys running, no star of the show however during meets it's clear that she's a solid member of the team.
She's no fool about the future, after all there's no way that little old Faye could ever grow up to be someone special like a prime minister or CEO of a company. Dreams of astronauts and space are far behind her at this age as well. Now it is simply the motivation of getting a good job, something that pays enough so she won't need to worry about money in the future, a warm home for the family and the ability to care for her parents when they are elderly. She too does care for the family, despite the occasional fight and slammed doors they're who she's been stuck with for fourteen years and will be stuck with for another four more.
Fears of friendship or a lack thereof are of course apparent, who doesn't fear the deep abyss of loneliness that claws at your chest every time someone leaves you on read. The worry of loss of a loved one or her family falling apart is quite real, yet have you ever thought about the horrors of being crushed between two hunks of colliding metal. Woken up throughout the night quite often due to dreams of car and trail collisions Faye's fear is a car, the cold metal boxes which are driven by texting middle aged, middle class mothers with three screaming children in the back and has her music turned up too loud. The thought of being crushed by one is horrific.
An ever so mild problem in her life is the ability to see spirits, it's not as bad lately due to acquiring some friends with the same tendencies. However in her case there is an abnormality, of seeing things that really aren't there. Just the casual hallucination here and there, not complete it is simply her brain misjudging the shadows. An open door appears to have a human figure in it, the shadows cast by a hoodie on the floor seemed to be a cat, while walking home the darkness from a tree branching across the road seems like a car, its something she can shake off within a few seconds. Yet its long enough to plant the seed of anxiety and doubt within.
» Likes:
Being fond of her dog, or rather any dogs for that matter Faye is quite the nature loving girl, parents often taking the family out on hikes into the bush and exploring new places she adores nature and what it brings. The neighbours cat is constantly surprising the community by letting only her pat it, and whilst others may see a savage wild mutt she sees a puppy in pain.
Celestials, not the comic book superheroes but the stars, movements of different satellites and the newest technology discovered, planetary movement and the slow eventual collapse of stars. Horoscopes aren't her style but there's something beautiful about the ever changing yet reliable night sky
Horror movies, it's not fun to scare others, but there's nothing like a good girls night snuggling under a pile of blankets with some chocolates and cookies, squealing as a badly dressed up zombie leaps out from behind a store counter.
Family, others dislike it, thinks it chains them down. However Faye's mind is simple, you allow it to chain you down. So while you have one use it. They have the obligation to care for you and aid you in life, you owe them nothing. Also her family in particular are ones that she adores and gets on with to a reasonable degree.
» Dislikes:
Hot drinks are the bane of civilized society, now really do you have a moment to sit down and listen to what Faye has to say? She probably has a pamphlet or two explaining the negative effects of hot teas, coffees and chocolates. For this reason Faye is a fan of strawberry milk, iced tea and chilled water.
Those with unrealistic dreams will only end up being checkout chicks or some other miserable job that requires standing behind a counter for 12 hours serving manky old men and annoying teenagers. That goes for everyone, She dislikes those who don't face the truth about their future, because it's coming for them like a car running a red light.
Incessantly positive people, her teacher to be exact, that English teacher at school who always seems to think that everything will be okay and the world is made of sunshine and rainbows well it isn't. Faye knows that its okay for things to be wrong, that's the first step to fixing problems. So people who seem to just smile all the time and think nothing is wrong are just trying to cover up their own insecurities and fake it till they make it. But they won't, they'll burn in hell.
I. Character History
» History Her parents are fairly young, they met once at a mixer then after finding each other again on a dating app the couple got together and managed to get along fairly well with the odd problem here and there. Moving together to a new city when Faye's elder brother was born her mother had to get a job to help with money until her father's salary was raised. It was a rather simplistic little family, small house with a bedroom and a half. Faye was born when her brother had just started school, she had minimal problems growing up, and was admitted to the local school. Learning piano from a young age she was no prodigy yet managed to keep up with everyone else in the year to the point that for her 10th birthday her parents bought her the; only slightly out of tune, old piano from the elderly lady down the road.
Faye's parents are a little boring, they're very boring. A mother who works at a grocery store and seems to be the perfect little angelic wife, and a father who works hard to provide for the family. It was wonderful for her wellbeing but she wants is some excitement, it's got to be out there somewhere. Her parents were both very strict with ehr elder brothers education, from his perspective she's the golden child who gets to have a relaxed life and do what she wishes. Yet she sees it as he gets any support he needs in his life to further and better his future when she is left to play with old pianos and second hand dolls. She doesn't dislike her brother, and he doesn't dislike her. They had spats as children and sibling problems over who got to sit in the seat closest to the heater in winter. There is a distance however, living at home he studies hard while she spends her time with friends or outside, she dislikes how he tends to decline parents offers to go on a hike or spend time together. Yet there is an unspoken bond between siblings that they'll have each other back.
Faye has lived on the same street for the majority of her life, at the age of seven her Grandmother passed away. She had been ill in hospital for a few months and was moved home to pass away in peace surrounded by family. During this time they sold her Grandparents house, and moved into a larger family home with Faye's Grandfather and getting a puppy. This may have lead to the odd idea that she got that when your Grandmother died you got a new room and a puppy.
It was in middle school that the family fell into some financial trouble, Faye being young her parents never properly told her about what the cause of it was however those were the nights when she snug the dog into her room at night to hide away from the slamming of papers on the table and muffled anger of their parents. They lived a little worse off than normal for a little over a year, it was noticeable to the other kids at school, she stopped going out with them after school to get ice creams, her pens and pencils changed brands and the shows she wore only looked older and older by the day. This lead to some bullying, guys get physical, girls use emotions to manipulate and harass their target. Everything was on the table with Faye, her older brother was so great why wasn't she. Her parents were wonderful and didn't deserve her. She was just a little girl who saw scary monsters still and thought they were real. It wasn't until Faye went through a growth spurt and ended up taller than many others that the mass bullying ended. Of course there are some people that don't forget.

- Spoiler:
- Apologies it is an old post from another site, I can throw something else in if you want.
What was wrong with it? He could feel the forests life, the energy through the roots as everything under the canopy was connected deeply, a wisdom dwelled there yet it was clammy with the illness that plagued these roots. A lethargy had settled over the woodlands here, sweet and heavy it was a blanket coming down to suffocate. The feeling of bile in the back of one's throat its acidic bite harsh, he could feel the sickness, a crease formed as his brows drew together, this was a special forest. The guild nearby was one he had once been a part of Black Rose, their activities seeming welcoming and lonely to the face yet it had once disgusted him when he had learnt the truth, not that it faxed him now for the male had undergone changes, matured past the childish recollections of fairy tales and brave princes realising that there were times when the harsh decision had to be made, and even if you didn't someone else would. The guild that dwelled here recruiting and focusing their business out of a local inn had often been close with this place, that he had remembered yet there were no childish laughs echoing through the forests,m couples no longer sat among the sprawling roots upon a picnic blanket sharing words of romance and love. He was a horrific human, a member of society that didn't belong who only hurt those around him and even those not involved yet that did not remove his sense of self. If anything it only deepened it, a plant in trouble, the entire forest was being chained down, its beauty had a bag over its head. This he could fix, he could cleanse this place and draw away the bandages from its eyes to reveal something much more beautiful, a cleansed forest, clean and sparkling its beauty would once again be the only thing on the minds of all those who were drawn here. There was a deep underlying nature as well, the hunger for something which most forests normally didn't need, this toxin had only strengthened that to greater heights, he could cleanse the grounds of this toxin and return it to more. Yes he would cleanse this place, for too long he had been testing things which weren't beneficial to society only to please his own interests and feed his own mind which was starved of amusement and delight. He had the mental prowess and the magical power to seek out the cause of this blight which had affected the trees in such a way.
Softly the smile graces his face, warmth and love blossoming across his face, the expressions of compassion due to the life which was around him, a sick grandparent whom he needed to nurse back to health, that was what this forest was and he could do exactly that, caring for its needs wouldn't be that hard surely, this was a way he could give back. Caring for nature in return to stealing those with dull eyes off the streets for something which was on no records or documents. He hadn't sensed her, whether it be due to the power she held which was greater than his the one with the title of goddess had just felt like part of the forest, as natural as a sweet scented wind in spring or another golden leaf in autumn his fingers were already intertwined with a branch when she spoke, his nails taking away a damaged leaf which had prevented a bud from blossoming, stern fingers managed to massage it open with a slight push of his own magic it had bloomed, the petals spreading open in an explosion of soft pinks. A question of why he had set foot in this place, not unprecedented yet as the man turned around he took a few moments to answer, instead tying his hair back with a ribbon as to neatly remove the locks from his face. A less rugged appearance was suited for greeting a woman such as this. Izayuki Hyoujin, she was a formidable woman indeed, there would be mentions of her in stories and around campfires whether it be by bandits who whispered her name with fear or mercenaries who dreamt of her with lust. Named a goddess by the magic council if her sheer strength wasn't something to be wary of it was those who followed her. Not just an entire guild, but a guild of mages, many of which had honed their skills of deception to suit the guilds motives and needs. respect was what solidified in his eyes though, a slight bow sent his ponytail cascading down as a few strands broke loose, a hand over the heart as he glanced up slightly. "Ms Hyoujin, it is a pleasure to meet you." he had been a member of Black Rose once, and although not having met her directly whenever she had entered the general hall of the guild many would hold their breath, out of admiration mainly. That was what he remembered, so now he stood before her, a first time meeting he had grown a lot since last setting eyes on the slayer. "I was in town for some personal business, decided to explore the area and revisit old memories. I came across this forest again, it seemed, sickly. As if a virus has infected the roots and spread across to every tree. It needs to be cleansed, purged so the buds can no longer be held back from their full potential and allowed to fully bloom. You spend a fair amount of time here ma'am would you be able to tell me more about these roots?" Watermelon eyes had been locked onto a petal which he had acquired from the ground, yet it was now that he looked up in question, hopefully that perhaps the mage he could not fully sense would have knowledge of what plagued the area.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
