Recently Ulv had felt rumblings. Double since her Tai Chi had gone the way of the dodo and everything needed some tweaking to get back on it's feet. So she dropped into the Island Of Night in her Inner World, and was greeted by a strange new woman in front of her.

"I...wow. You look hot, Hvit" Ulv was surprised with this sudden change and not entirely sure why it had happened or where it had come from.
"Implying that I wasn't before?" whatever change Hvit had gone through physically, her ego and pride were still wholly intact.
"It is way to narcissistic for me to admit a woman who looks exactly like me - or how I used to be - looks good. But this new form of yours is far beyond that, so we can finally compliment you without looking like a self-love nutjob" Ulv gave a grin, and then moved in and hugged her Hollow Friend. It was taken with all the pride that Hvit could muster. Which, was quite a great deal. There was never a situation where Hvit was unable to be the embodiment of self-confidence. After having lost to Mirja, she learned that even in defeat, she can hold herself high.

The real difference in change was a shock to Ulv, but it was a shock that she needed to put to one side and talk to a smart Vizard later about. Instead, there was more to talk about than just that, and so Ulv straightened up, crossed her arms, and stared down at Hvit.
"You took all the energy that came off the Dantian. All of it. You didn't think that other people could use that? Didn't think to share?" Ulv asked, her tone not quite accusing but still somewhat disappointed. Of course, Hvit didn't look in the least bit abashed, just looking back with a nod.

"Of course. I am the most important being in your Inner World. I provide the most help, and I am the best to call on in any situation. So I deserve all the energy that came off it, so I can strengthen our bond and make you greater by lending you my all. The link is not quite stable enough to give you all of this, but it will be in time. I shall make sure of it" that haughty tone, the undeniable assurance that there never was or could be anything more important than her. It made Ulv smile. And so she was going to strengthen this link between them, the only way Ulv knew how.

"Well then. Best show me what you got out of it"

Why crossing fists with Hvit improved the pair of them, Ulv did not know. Maybe it was a self-fufiling concept that had evolved due to the nature of Reiatsu. That Hvit and Mirja believed that it would help them, and so it did. The first time in anger, the second time in desire to understand, and now the third time, in passion. The first time had Mirja focused most intently, and Hvit overwhelmingly proud of her supposed superiority. The second time they both had bleeding hearts, and there was no room for any emotion except despair and desire to understand each other, to connect to each other.

And now, Hvit stood there again, her face and stance with the same pride. The same belief of her superiority. But Ulv was not the same being, not the same woman who would savagely maul and strike until victory was hers. There was no need to eagerly chase victory. Only, to chase a connection. And so when Hvit moved in and delivered a kick to the side, Ulv dipped her arm, blocking with her elbow so the point smashed against Hvit's shin. A second of acknowledgement before Hvit grinned and delivered a Re-Kick. Drawing power up from the foot still on the ground, she blasted it out of the muscles that were in contact with Ulv, hitting her as if being kicked again. The additional force without time to regain her stability took Ulv off her stance and sent her stumbling. Hvit, really was immensely skilled at this whole fighting thing. Arguably, better than Ulv was.

"Ohh, I am so glad we don't fight for control anymore. I'd so get my ass kicked if we were" Ulv said, regaining herself.
"Mhmm. I remember you were getting your ass kicked last time before we got interrupted" Hvit said, that smile unwavering.
"Hey now, don't go changing the past to fit your wants. We were clearly equal" Ulv retorted, before sliding in, and snapping out a mighty Cutting The Front kick, a Re-Taekwando attack that delivered enough kinetic force to act as a bladed instrument as much as a bludgeoning one.

Hvit didn't just stand around and take the blow, crashing her leg into Ulv's and stopping it from making contact. And finally, just to show off, she made a rapid lerch to put her in range and kicked Ulv across the face. The strange position and off-balance nature made it not quite as strong as it could be, and so Ulv was able to slide herself into Hvit's personal space and deliver an Arang, Re-Taekwando Elbow that uterlized the same grounding principles to draw energy from the whole upper body rather than just the arm, and then throw an uppercut to the chin while Hvit leaned over.

Hvit had led into the oncoming uppercut and sprang upwards with it's force, kicking for Ulv's chin and forcing her to stagger back so as to not get taken off her feet. Then Hvit rushed in, and struck out with a knee. Different to other knee attacks, this was a Baekdu, designed to lift the opponent off their feet as much as deal damage, which it succeeded in doing and allowed the next kick to send her rocketing into the air. The Baek Rok kick was also designed to send someone into the air, but when used in combination with the Baekdu, it knocked them clean into the air and opened them up for a most painful Hwenchu, a leaping axe-kick that would smash the airborne body into the ground, using their own strength as well as downward momentum for increased destructive force.

Ulv had not fought someone of such skill in a long time, and the fight was beautiful. Even against Demonica, the battle was force and power than actual skill. And Hvit, empowered by this new energy she had taken, was pushing Ulv to her limits and beyond. But she was not to be beaten, as when the axe kick came slamming down, Ulv span and lashed with kicks, driving Hvit back and giving her a second to stand up. Once on her feet, she caught her break and gave Hvit a grin.
"I do so love it when we can come together like this" Ulv exclaimed, before pushing all her speed into getting into close quarters. her two hands slid into Hvit's guard and dramatically separated them, before grasping the Hollow in a clinch and pulling her head down into a knee.

The second knee never came because Hvit delivered a pair of thunderous kicks to Ulv's thigh and slipped out of the clinch while Ulv dropped from the impact. But the kick Hvit tried to make was counted by an Instep High, blasting the Hollow off her feet with a kick to the jaw. Her attempts to regain her footing after the kick were counted with a Female Dragon Fist, the recoil shuddering her body but also dealing great damage to Hvit. Not, something she could do very often...

Pressing her foot into the ground as if seeking to bury it, Ulv prepared for the Dragon-Felling Hwechook, a taxing attack that struck with the force of her entire body, spiraling herself into a form akin to a spring ready to be released.
"Fury stacks sure make it a dangerous game to play for too long, huh?!" Ulv exclaimed, laughing softly to herself as she watched Hvit recover from taking the Female Dragon Fist.
"Wouldn't have it any other way! This is the best, nay the only way to have a fight with you, Ulv!"

The two girls were caught up in the call of blood now, and Hvit rushed in, lashing out a kick heavily inspired by Fangs Of The Wind, while Ulv threw out her Dragon-Felling Hwechook. Ulv's kick landed on Hvit's right, and Hvit's kick landed on Ulv's left, so the two incredible blows took the other off their feet and send them hurtling down the road. Not that they let that stop them for more than a few seconds. Both recovered and got to their feet, grinning inanely.
"I can feel your emotions darling. You wanna kick this up~!" Ulv exclaimed, to which Hvit nodded, and held out her arm. The two took a breath and together, spoke with fury and volume.

"Bankai!"
"Bankai!"

A great crash rang out as the two called out, but it was not the release of a Bankai. Instead, the arrival of the great spirit, Beowulf. He had changed, a strange look about him that was far more bear than gorilla-bear. Clearly there was drinks all around for changing of one's appearance. If only Ulv could have a chance of appearance, not having to be that gaudy as fuck gold and purple shit that she had to deal with when her powers were at the full. Still, this guy was the boss, and so they had to keep him happy to use the Zanpaktou they wanted to release.

"Don't you think this is enough?" he boomed. Ulv looked over to Hvit's battered form, and then to her own wounded form and the pain that she was keeping suppressed with a stubborn streak the size of Russia. And so with the giant bear guy staring, Ulv let out a sigh and nodded.
"True...we did get a bit carried away there..." Ulv admitted, scratching the back of her head and letting Hvit calm down as well. "But...It was nice. Cathatic to fight someone like that and, I certainly do always feel closer to Hvit after these sessions" Ulv then left the Inner World, to let Hvit get some rest, and to get some rest herself.
