» History: [Long ago, there was an empire of light - Seri.

Within the divine palace walls, resided an empress, and her two loyal guardians. The empress was known to be fair and kind to her subjects. With her guidance, the nation prospered and the three were worshipped by the people as deities.

However, an ancient darkness sought to disturb the harmony of the empire. The three fought to eradicate the darkness with all their might, however they were no match for the primordial entity.



As recorded in the Serian archives:
The surrounding environment was shrouded by a veil of damnation black that even the radiance of the dawning sun could not penetrate. The ancient trees and exotic flowers that once bloomed slowly shriveled as a breeze of corruption swept by. Crimson flames engulfed the crystal palace; a blizzard of moon-silver arrows fizzed and shrilled into the benighted sky. Ruby-red blood splattered from the gaping wounds of fallen warriors as women and children wailed of torment. A plague of demonic creatures swarmed into the fray, feasting on everything that came into their sight. Their claws were curved like scimitars, as pale as the alabaster moon. Their figure was black like glistening obsidian and they did not possess a face.

The empress witnessing the destruction the darkness could bring, realized she could not let this happen again to any other civilization. For the sake of her empire, and the future generations to come, she had to prevent this evil from threatening the balance of the world. With her remaining strength, the empress casted a spell with the help of her two guardians. The spell was their only chance of exterminating the ancient darkness. The empress and the darkness would both be sealed and be reincarnated into the world centuries later.
