(Location: Cairo, Egypt)
After the sun had finished one of it's final peaceful sunsets, night fall had eerily consumed the Egyptian city of Cairo. There was a great sense of uneasiness felt across every single district of this futuristic city as they had heard news of the invasions happening within London at this point. They weren't quite sure what was happening at this point and time, but they knew they had to somehow beef up their security. Little did they know, however, the threat that they were up against would undeniably be a menace too overwhelming for simply their local defenses to deal with. For what was about to come was a threat in which the officials of Cairo had no experience in fighting with what so ever, making them a massive, prime target for the Jade Cross to swiftly invade.
Outside of the brightly lit city, a lone woman could be seeing walking in mid air. She had long, flowing blonde hair that stretched down to her hips in a ponytail. Along with her beautiful hair was a fine-looking impassive face that would strike distress into the masses of Cairo without even attacking. This woman was also wearing a specially fitted, full body black tracksuit that had red stripes going down each sleeve and shoulders, with the Kokuryuteishi's symbol attached to her back in red. Judging from her attire, you could easily tell she was prepared to enter combat.
"...Jade Squad and all allies, prepare to inflate the city of Cairo...." Veras telepathically said to all Kokuryuteishi, Nuevo Espada and Sin Fall members who were available for combat. "...I am starting the invasion..." So, with that, Lady Veras went on to place her right hand against the invisible barrier that protected the capital of Egypt. "...Let this be quick, silent, efficient and successful..." With a bright flash of her eyes, the barrier was quietly disposed of through nanobots injected into her body that were released when the barrier itself began to make Veras's palm bleed due to her Arrancar and Demonic blood boiling within her.
"Go..."
Now, the hell gates were open for The Kokuryuteishi's fastest attacking squad. Thousands of men wearing black camouflage, cloaks, invisibility and other stealth methods were released into the streets of Cairo; blending into the dark pathways of this massive city. In order to secure their safety in the darkness, a team of Jade Cross members were ordered to invade the power plant where most of the electricity for Cairo's city's infrastructure was generated from. They killed everyone within the plant without so much as a yell as they hijacked the center and were able to shut off power to the city with a mere flip of the switch; Making it ever so easy for the members in black to invade.
Soon after that, multiple portals, hidden jets, vehicles and soldiers hit the streets kidnapping most of the citizens from the sidewalk, in their homes and many other places in order to take them into The Kokuryuteishi's care. Yes there was panic in the streets, but the Jade Cross made sure it wouldn't get to a global scale as they efficiently cut off all communication from the outside world. There were also blockades at every single exit out of Cairo and in the skies above to make sure no one escape.
"This invasion....will be done in darkness..." Uttered the Jade Cross commander as she disappeared into the = blacked city. As the commander of her cross, she had to make sure everyone got out of this alive and in one piece while making this mission a complete success. True, it would seem somewhat odd for someone with her attitude to care about such of thing, but she did not wish for her soldiers to simply die for no reason. If they wanted to win this battle, everyone would have to live through it. This made her one of the most efficient Commanders in The Kokuryuteishi.

_____After being separated from Akitsu because of an evil entity's interference, Bai ran into the city with her second youngest child, a daughter. It is unknown to her how her children were separated from her and her daughter. Not only that, she noticed that the city was pitch dark while devoid of life. "What happened here..." Bai's daughter whispered with her bobcat ears flicking, trying to pick up a sign of life. Bai looked at her daughter with a serene look on her face. Normally, bobcats can see through the dark, but Bai's daughter has human eyes instead of Bai's set of eyes, making her unable to see through the darkness. Bai grasped her daughter and keeps her close. She was only an academy student and Bai knows that she will not survive long if they are separated. Not only it is her responsibility as a mother, it is her responsibility to protect the Gotei's future member. She walked and led her daughter to the nearest sidewalk to find out what is going on through environmental clues. Judging by the footprints and strides, the incident was an attack as struggles and quick-stepping are evident. What was her thought through that...
"What just happened here? Where's the blood if it was an attack? I have to keep moving."
_____Bai looked at her daughter as her daughter looked back. The only thing that illuminated in the darkness for the daughter was her mother's eyes that shines in the moonlight. "We have to keep moving. I pray that the others would have picked up that we're in deeper trouble than we'd hoped. Stay calm. Relax." Bai whispered to her daughter after lowering herself to her daughter's eye-level. With a calmed mind, both Bai and her daughter will have their spiritual pressure lowered to the point of being undetectable to the minions of a hidden foe. To the hidden foe, Bai's and her daughter's spiritual pressure had blend in with the humans' and could potentially take time to single them out. Bai picked her daughter up and held her petite being between her arm and waist. Bestial as she is born to be, Bai lowered herself and rushed off on two feet and left hand, looking for a way out of Cairo through the darkness. However, Bai was originally intending to find out who is responsible so she could tell her sisters of this silent atrocity.

[Project ZERO V.2]
Slowly, Zero lifted his head. He had been resting his mechanic body with the help of scrap metals from the battlefield that was constantly in this area of the desert - the area where his old city, Ragnarok, had crashed down. But now, in the dark of the night, his scanners picked up extremely strange readings. The cloud of 'electric smoke' above Cairo, a city about 500 or 700 kilometers away, had disappeared from the horizon. The distance was too large to quickly find out why, but this could only have two possible reasons.
Reason one: His eye scanners were faulty, which wasn't the case, as a system analysis proved. Reason two: There was no reading because there was nothing to read. Something or someone made all of Cairo go dark in a matter of under ten seconds. Standing up from his resting position, Zero grabbed his energy saber in it's scabbard, and attached it to his leg-armor, before leaving behind only a dust-cloud, constantly using his Air Trusters to speed through the sands at high speeds. He couldn't sit back and watch when people were possibly killed this close to him.
With a leap and a, for his standards, rather silent noise, Zero landed in the streets of Cairo. It was like he had feared - the dome protecting the city from possible attacks was gone. Everything was dark, and terribly silent. Switching his eyes into night-vision, Everything got a slight gray touch, as he greatly enhanced the remaining few bits of light and other information from his sensors mixed together.
"This doesn't look good..." Jumping down into the streets, Zero was now no longer using his Air Trusters to quickly move around, but rather ran through the streets, looking for any signs of what exactly was going on. Then, he heard a single, high-pitched scream. A survivor?
A wall was in the way of the robot, but not for long. Unsheathing his Z-Saber, the metal wall was cut apart like butter and fell into itself, with Zero dashing through the gap. A civilian seemed to have managed to escape from the camouflaged soldiers for long enough so that Zero could find her - the broken flashlight on the ground indicated why she managed to dodge the invaders for at least a few moments. She was probably blind in this darkness, but the robot could see both her and the tarned soldier grabbing her arm, who was now looking at him in a short second of shock before reaching for his weapon. His last motion, since the Z-Saber in Zeros hand swiftly cut off both his arm holding the woman and the head in two fast swipes. Pressing herself against the wall now, whimpering, the robot knew that he could not get a decent response out of this person. Besides the fact that he probably didn't even have the correct language-chip for her in his system.
Exiting the house like a normal person - through the window - with his slightly glowing sword still drawn, he knew that he was a bright shining target in the darkness of this city. But it was his intent to find the source of this - the camouflaged soldier was most likely only one of many.

(Warning LARGE picture)
- Spoiler:
He has his thermal vision on looking at the humans, he noticed some movement going for Zero and the human. He drew one of his Z sabers V1 one blades. Wielding it in his right hand as he jumped down. The clash of metal and grinding gears echoed across the night sky. As he cut down three more soldiers killing them with great skill. His back turns to Zero . He let out a simple line
"It's not just him you should worry about -- it's also me.”
He placed his sword away killing the small light he was creating. He stood there for a moment before walking towards the wall with the human, reaching out his hands, helping the human up. As he picked the human up he was careful not to break any of the humans bones, he had no smile on his face ethier. These people where trained taking people hokage left and right nonstop.
“Get out of here and hide”
the human ran and this being turned back to Zero and walked next to him. He came here for the same reason making sure no one was getting killed. He placed his hands on his right blade again that was resting on his back. Before speaking to Zero. With almost no change from the voice of zero ethier, only diffrence was the fact that his was a bit more "olderish"
“So Brother, its been a while since Ragnarok, lets try to chat afterwards”
Not a single part of these Zero is made out of flesh or spiritual energy, they are a completely artificial being - both of there chest and stomach unit sits the engine and reactor powering them, while the head-part hosts the central computer making up the brain. they can actually take off the helm he is usually seen wearing, but this is a rare sight. for any of them.
One hundred years have passed in today’s time after the collapse of the sky city. In the desert left of it, many rampant robots and haywire machinery was still active, those that did not escape in time - but on one day, something disrupted the sealed being sleeping under the sands They Are both Zero!

Frost is skipped due to not posting within three days. Rules are rules...sorry, man.
_____All around her, Bai could see daylight blue due to her natural capability to see in the dark, allowing cats like her to travel through the night without running into things. Anomalously, the blue turns into magenta, a reddish variant of purple, but she was not bothered by that. What surprised her was a faint screaming of a human woman that Bai picked up with her enhanced hearing...it came from behind her, causing her to turn a one-eighty with a slide and go further away from the nearest exit. Deeper into the city she goes, still remaining calm to avoid detection. Bai checked on her child and realized things are going better than she hoped, her daughter was asleep in her arms, unbothered from the breeze of Bai’s rushing speed since she was in the shelter she knew since she came into the world. Rescuing survivors was Bai’s second priority before escaping with her child.
_____Bai traced the sound to a house where an armored man just walked out of a window of a house. With his sword drawn, Bai remained calm, knowing if she just raised her guard too much, she will be a flare for the enemies. But still, if that armored man was one of the attackers, she could potentially have to run since she does not have a sword of her own and her daughter was in her arm, rendering her unable to fight such a foe. “Who are you? Did you kill a human woman?” Bai asked, she said it specifically, knowing if she was vague, she would not get the right answers and get into a mess that she could not handle.

[Project ZERO V.2]
The sound of screaching metal in the night sky. A flare of another green energy saber. How long had it been? Too long, that's for sure. Version 2 didn't have a too good memory of the past, but he clearly remembered his brother - the heavier armored version of himself, Version 1, the original Zero. If he felt any emotion right now, he didn't show it on his face, as usual. Was he unable to show emotions, or did he just not want to do that?
"It's good to see a familiar face for once, brother." Even though that face was nearly the same as his, just like their voices that sounded so much alike. As another presence was coming nearer, Version 2 resheathed his blade, making nearly all light disappear again. His slightly glowing eyes recognized the flames in the distance, lighting up the night sky above Cairo for a few moments only. Civilians? Defenders? Or the attackers? Impossible to tell from this position. He was a robot, not a wizard. So he focused on what he could do right now - and that was answering the question of the woman with the child right infront of him. His scanners picked up slightly strange readings, but he couldn't tell what she was - usually the sign of surpressed spiritual energy. Understandable, since any kind of Reiatsu leaking here would attract enemies. That was the good thing about being a robot without any spiritual energy - there was no Reiatsu for him to leak, even when performing at maximum.
"It is up for you what you want to believe." As usual, Zero did not try to act very friendly to get someone to believe him, or reduce hostilities. His emotionless tone didn't help much either. "Judge yourself. I didn't attack any human. I am here to find out what is happening, and why - and finally, stop it." Pointing with one hand slightly backwards, he said: "We are both Zero. Call me V2, that'll make things easier to remember for us all." Suddely, Zero dashed forward, using his Air Trusters once more for a flash-step like move, pulling his blade out in the movement before resheathing it, now standing behind Bai. Another figure became at least slightly visible, completely together with a slightly disgusting sound of an oreganic being falling over, cut through in the middle.
"You should be very carefull. I don't know how good your eyes are, but those guys are hard to spot, even with my scanners." The red armored robot turned around, towards his brother and the back of the woman. Was it slight concern in the voice of the robot? At least he didn't seem to be hostile towards anyone here.
"Any luck with finding out where the main source of power should be, brother?" After all, two robots scanning the area could have more luck than one alone. Not to mention the fact that anyone who thought that these two artificial warriors were easy pickings would quickly learn otherwise.

Flames in the distance, lighting up the night sky above Cairo for a few moments only. Civilians? Defenders? Or the attackers? Impossible to tell from this position. He was scanning for the source of the black out, he noticed one of the soldiers they cut down had a device on them, maybe if he tried to hack into it, they can get some information. He went over picked up the device it seemed to be something like a PDA a closer looked showed it to be broken. Well more like cut.
While his brother was speaking to the women that arrived she seem to be holding something a child it seemed, she seem to hold no spiritual pressure at all, or at lest hiding it. Well for things like him and his brother that have no reaitsu what so ever, it isn’t surprising. When his brother told her to call him V2.
“Call me V1 if you must."
Said a similar yet slightly older voice like that of V2 As usual, they did not try to act very friendly to get someone to believe him, or reduce hostilities. There emotionless tone didn't help much either. Suddenly, V2 dashed forward, using his Air Trusters once more for a flash-step like move, pulling his blade out in the movement before resheathing it, now standing behind the women. Another figure became at least slightly visible, completely together with a slightly disgusting sound of an oreganic being falling over, cut through in the middle. V2 was a tad faster than V1 since they where built for different reasons, even so he seemed quite skilled with that trick like always.
When asked about the any possible ideas of the source of power should. He scan the area a bit not moving his face which was looking towards the women, and his bother. He used his thermal version to scan up ahead, he counted the number of people and soldiers nearby as well, he then noticed the massive heat from the fires that now ruined this plan
“I cant, find it thou are scans alone, but from my scans, I counted about 12-15 groups of at lest 6each nearby.”
He gained a quick smile before walking past the women and to his brother standing next to him, placing his hand on the left blade with his right arm. And looking forwards with a emotionless yet strong eyes. He cant help but crack this one joke.
“The odds look slim, for them”

--------------------
What mattered now was the city of Cairo, which lay in utter darkness. An invasion was certainly taking place here, and the power had been cut to throw the city into chaos. Before Takeshi had begun to close the distance between himself and the city that was his destination, a flame shot from the city and into the sky, before the entire night was suddenly cloaked in a strange red light. He stopped at that, looking up at the blood red moon for a few moments before looking back at city; what exactly was he walking into? He didn’t have time to really thing about it; the 3rd Seat of the 7th Division shot off towards Cairo, suppressing his spiritual power as much as he could while he ran along the dunes.
He entered the city, taking note of the absence of the energy dome. His suspicions confirmed, he heard a scream from down a road. He ran towards it, but by the time he had reached the area it seemed that the situation had more or less been resolved. Standing around were 3 beings, at least that’s what he thought. One of them held a small child in her arms, while the other two looked like twins in the strange light. His eyes were still adjusting to the light, but his hearing wasn’t; he heard a noise from behind him.
Takeshi spun around and crouched as a blade just cleared the top of his head. He drew his blade and slammed the hilt of his zanpaku-tou into his attackers gut before finishing the man off with a vertical cut. Then he turned his attention back to the group, and started walking towards them. When he had closed enough distance that he figured they could hear him without him shouting, and thus garnering more attention, he spoke.
”Are you people responsible for this? he asked, the question simple and to the point. He held his zanpaku-tou loosely in his hand, ready to bring it to bare against an attacker if need be. He would get nowhere without answers, and he’d see what he could find from the other people that hadn’t started attacking him yet.
~We trip and stumble only so that we may stand back up...~
