Nanao Ise [Canon | WIP]

○ Name: Nanao Ise.

○ Age: Chronologically: Unknown; Physically: Young Adult.
○ Gender: Female.
○ Race: Shinigami.

○ Association: The Gotei United's Fourth Division although her loyalty lies closer to Shunsui than the division. While she serves the division faithfully she would apply for a transfer in the case of Shunsui being reassigned or moving to another division.

○ Appearance Details:



○ Professional: The very first piece of who Nanao is that you'd come across upon meeting her. Nanao keeps everything professional with people, meeting new people is done so with respect and formality. She keeps to how things should be handled by the book and with an mature attitude while doing so. Some people could argue that this makes her very hard to be around and almost painful to those that are light-hearted and like to be immature and enjoy things. She is the kind of person to get called a bore or a party-pooper for bringing down the mood much to her captain's despair.

○ Pragmatic: Nanao is a person that beats people through her brains. She is a practical person that can be very hands on when the time requires and prefers to think of the actual uses of something rather than the theoretical uses. It is something that shows primarily in her Kido creation where she considers the practical use of the spell rather than sticking to the theoretical side of the spellcraft. This trait also manifests as a bit of a nerdy side, she is not a dumb person but she isn't the smartest either. There is no doubt some level of depth to her intelligence in the form of her number crunching and kido practices but she isn't running around designing robots and solving the mysteries of the universe.

○ Deeply Loyal: She is a deeply loyal and respectful person, especially towards her captain who she has a great deal of admiration for regardless of how she acts towards her captain's whimsical antics which annoy her and are often directed at her in a teasing manner. She'd never admit it but there is an unbreakable dedication to Shunsui to the point she would change a division to follow him or even leave the Gotei United towards the extreme end although she'd be very unhappy if there wasn't good cause for doing so. She stays true to these values when it comes to protecting her comrades and other people close to her regardless of how it could affect her as demonstrated when she adamantly attempted to help Shunsui against the nigh-impossible task of fighting Yamamoto.

○ Girly Side: Nanao is not someone that is all about business and being the best subordinate she can be. There is a more casual side hidden underneath her layers of professionalism. She best shows these qualities best in her spare time when she's not reading or having her head buried in paperwork. She has the hobby of shopping on occasion for various things,

-Born to the wife of Shunsui's brother by an unknown father (after Shunsui's brother died).
-She was raised in the Ise Family.
-Moderate Noble House.
-Overhears Shunsui and her mother talking and something being entrusted.

-Conscripted into the Seventh Division under Shunsui very young after graduating.
-Developed a relationship with Lisa Yadomaru, built off their shared interest in reading.

"Almost done"

Taking a quick moment to sweep the stray hair back behind her ear Nanao took a moment to look outside the window. It was a beautiful day and very warm. Had she not been forced to pick up the slack for her captain, who you'd think after all this time would learn to do what was required of him for his duties, she would be enjoying it herself. The work was almost done at the very least. Taking a quick scan over the page before her that held numerous digits accounting for the division. Numbers, stocks and the like was what she was doing. It was rather simple work made easier by her brain being well tuned to crunching numbers.

"It's awfully quiet. Has he fallen asleep somewhere again? Thankfully there aren't any meetings on today."

A quick sigh escaped her lips before returning her gaze to the paper before her she idly flipped her pen through her fingers and thought about what else needed to be done after this pile, a quick attempt to recall anything told her nothing else was outstanding but knowing herself she would check again before she was done for the day.

Twenty-Minutes Later

"I'm finally done. That's the last of it."

There was a long yawn and stretch to celebrate this small feat before taking it away to file and process. Once that little labour was done she had a quick look around for Shunsui to inform him that she had completed the work and scold him for his evasive attitude towards his duty but alas it turned up nothing and she felt it probably wasn't important enough to justify using reikaku to hunt the man out like an animal. She was sure he'd trust that she carried him through his responsibilities anyway.

"Well, given that I'm all finished for the day I guess a nice book shall be a good pastime for the afternoon. I think I've earned the break anyway."
