«HOW TO MAKE A EQUIPMENT ON PH»
This guide is for the people who are confused on the process of creating equipment.
For reference, the template for equipment can be found here:

The equipment board can be found here:

So, in order to make equipment on Platinum Hearts, there usually has to be a reason for it. We need to know how your character acquired the resources to make the equipment, the reason behind why they need it and how they intend to use it. These three things are important because they give us the needed information to evaluate whether or not this piece of equipment is going to be abused or not.
Furthermore, equipment that is made in a thread often has a higher chance of being approved with stronger enhancements made to it. That is because the character will have genuinely worked to have this item crafted, taken from a location or made for them and produce more activity for the site and character development for yourself.
So, even if you have ties to an organization to explain the reason why you have the resources to create your equipment, we still would prefer you do it in thread if you really want something immense to otherwise cement your equipment in the PH Verse going forward. Though, I would not worry about this if you are producing equipment that isn't affecting 0 or 1 tier characters, changing the world or creating grand-scale effects. If all your doing is trying to create a basic sword for your character? Sure, we'll let you pass. If you are trying to create some type of super armor that shields them from a nuclear blast? We better have a story, reason, connection OR investment into that equipment.
TL;DR
- Follow the equipment template
- State the reason why the equipment was made, how the resources were acquired and how it is intended to be used.
- If you created the equipment in thread, you can create stronger equipment and have a higher chance of approval
- If you are making basic equipment, we will be more lenient on equipment reviews.
