REBIRTH
SAISEI
再払い
再払い
There wasn't much to talk about in terms of the living space. There wasn't anything that popped to the young man, making it relatively hard to really pin point anything interesting. Clearly, anything and everything only existed to stay within the confines of it's large or small box, placed haphazardly throughout the entire room with little care. Looks like they had just moved in apparently, too many boxes to count. Erika's Mother must have been too busy to even take a glance at all this mess. Saisei couldn't exactly blame her, the messiness of his own apartment was attributed to the fact he too had a lot of belongings to actually unpack.
Regardless, he looked towards Erika as she spoke once more, her petite figure ducking out of the quarters quickly in order to obtain some type of clothing for him. She clearly wasn't interested in discussion, whether she meant to come off that way or not. Short and straight to the point with most of her words, Saisei could simply assume she didn't have much of an interest in his conversations. That was fine, he would find ways to gain information just due to interest from the Girl, she's already given him plenty.
Giving the situation a slight shrug, he moved from the door to a nearby box, nudging it with his foot. It was clearly opened, showing a large set of dishware made from what seemed to be generic ceramic material, which seemed to make sense. Why buy something expensive when you're always busy and away from your quarters? Saisei rummaged around within the box to see if that's all there was to it. Snooping was one thing but the box was clearly wide open, it caught his attention and he simply couldn't ignore it.
A soft thud filled the room before he jolted upright, throwing his hands up in defense to the girl's return. She paid him no attention, already moving on to her next order of business. "R-Right, thanks. Clothes are clothes right? Why whine?" Catching the clothing she had toss towards him, he glanced at the Vanguard Uniform with a sense of familiarity. It seemed homely, as if he was meant to be in it twenty four seven. It was simple, a rather well made white button up with what seemed to be a deep brown military coat. It was extremely simple, a small coat of arms attached to its right arm to designate that it was associated with The Vanguard, it seemed interesting enough. The pants, like the rest of the uniform were simple in design, having a black coloring to them.
Catching yet another article from the girl, a towel this time, Saisei waited for the moments to pass by before changing in to his own replacement clothing in private. A short time passed before the girl emerged in a similar outfit. The young man was still in the process of dealing with the Military Coat, fumbling around with its material before effectively giving up and leaving it free to hang open. He wasn't exactly sure if such an action was disrespectful but he'd have to find out at a different time. Erika shuffled her way to the couch just off to Saisei's side, gently ushering him towards the area just by taking a seat.
The out of place boy followed in suit, tiptoeing his way around box after box before he found a comfortable resting place by a small, animated screen. Less of a TV and more of a window, he leaned against its surface before speaking out. "Sure is busy in this room." He chuckled at himself, waving around at the mass of boxes like a little kid. He was clearly looking for a reaction before moving on, the girl was too quiet. It bugged Saisei, her gentle and direct words filled with what felt like distaste. He wasn't used to it to say the least.
"Why did they give you an outdated Uniform? One of the men we passed on our way in clearly had something else." Saisei stood upright again, shifting his coat around before smirking at the girl before loudly exclaiming. "Looks rather snazzy though, doesn't it? Almost as if I'm the boss around here." Yet another chuckle emerged before he shook his hand in a defensive manner. Clearly he was joking but anything was better than the silence that Erika seemed to be interested in. Tough cookie to crack, huh?

TEN THOUSAND SWORDS
Her golden gaze watched him carelessly. It wasn't hostile or negative in anyway. It was more a look of curiosity due to him being the most interesting thing in the room to look at rather than anything mean. Disrespectful it might appear though. When he brought up the comment about the room she gazed around as if noticing it for the first time. She was well aware it was in a disorderly state. She didn't think it could be called busy though.
"I suppose so. My mother's always busy, I don't want to make a mistake with it and she doesn't want other people doing it hence the disorderly nature of it Saisei."
While the uniform did look like it was made for him she didn't really know why they gave her an outdated uniform. If Erika had to guess it would be purely because it was old and laying about? What else would they do with old uniforms that were outdated if not give to a young woman inquiring about some clothes for a young man? She had no idea and so all she could really respond with was a shrug of the shoulders and leaning back further into the snug couch.
"If you can get past my mother then sure... you can be the boss around here if you want"
Her eyes had returned to him, not exactly annoyed but trying to figure out what he wanted. He kept on talking, why couldn't he just be patient and sit quietly? Why did he have t keep asking questions as well? Especially ones that she didn't know the answer too or ones she didn't want to answer.
Why do people need to make small-talk?
With a final sigh and shifting to lay down on the couch that was able to fit around three people however being so small left one seat still open. It took her a moment to get comfortable. Normally she would go to sleep until Tsubine finally came back whenever she did with her irregular times but she had to keep a guest company.
"Why do you...... deliver packages?"
It took her a moment to finally decide on something to ask but it was the only thing that she really could think to ask given how she started it which wasn't why do you talk so much? So it was the only question that she posed to him. Maybe if she gave him a small conversation she could just bore him to sleep.
