Man meet beast

It felt wonderful to be back home to Russia once more seeing the cold weather made her get butterflies in her stomach and seeing the landscape once more brought a smile to her eye. In order to leave the urban areas of mother russia Ritsuko had to enter a specific cemetary, now why would is she doing this? Well it's because she needs some time to herself...all those thoughts about that faithful day where she was almost left for dead in the karakura forest only to be saved by Toshiko, it made her angry due to the fact that she wasn't able to take on enemy on her own without but this time things were going to change and if the man were to show up again she'd be ready..this time she isn't going to play nice.

She began skirting around a pile of brown frosted leaves, the innumerable flashing fragments shine in the brilliant wintry light, for today there is no weather; no wind, no cloud, just subzero temperatures. Even the leaf stems lie white and sharp. Ahead the path glistens like white quartz, yet ice crystals on weary concrete is all it is. All this beauty over everything dead. She paused, as her breath began rising in visible puffs, before looking downard and resuming to enter the more dangerous parts of the contienent.

The Snowstorms of Russian outskirts were a perfect cover. A decent amount of caverns were in that broad tundra, and so it was somewhere that Zefak could stay and admire the red egg in his hand. It had a face on it, eyes closed and sleeping peacefully. It was not a great thing to look at an egg like this, it meant that one of his brothers had died, and this egg had been recovered from his corpse. He had heard of an entire factory being destroyed by a pair of people, and one of his brothers killed by them. It was troubling. There existed beings out there in the world that were strong enough to kill one of his Brothers From Beyond alone.

Zefak ate the egg, and then turned to his research. As huge and monstrous as he was, he was a smart monster, having found the first egg and consumed it long ago. It granted him insight, knowledge, and understanding. But before he could get anywhere, he was interrupted. Well, partially interrupted. A Test-Subject arrived, and he could hardly pass off the chance to get some more experimenting down, and maybe have a replacement brother....no, a Sister from the smell of it. He wondered how that would change the egg's effects. So moving like a beast, Zefak skulked from his lair and appeared in front of Ritsuko.

"Hmmm. You are different. Something about your soul" Zefrak prodded Ritsuko in the chest. "No, not the soul, the body. I must learn more. Come peacefully, little woman, I would not want to damage you, in case it ruins the samples" Zefrak was staring at Ritsuko as if she was just something to study rather than an actual person. And clearly, wasn't just going to let her wake away...
