The man's comment about her reaction time and the amount of power in her kicks was a nice thing to say she's never been known to have a very powerful kick in her past. Mostly because they either knock her out within a few seconds or their so resilant to pain that its just like a light fog to them, she wanted to compliment the man on his speed but he probably knows it.
Regardless, Yoriko smiles as he was going to resolve this problem with the store clerk peacefully and perhaps she'll have to apologize to the people at the restaurant as well.
"Thank you for the compliment sir, and I was trained by my sensei Henrex Astillon"
Yoriko looked at the man's wound as it began dripping with blood, only for it to be sealed overtime as if he body's immune system was in complete overdrive. Just seeing him heal a would like that made her even more curious about this man, who was he and how did he acquire such wonderful gifts.
"Alright, and thank you for the kind words Mr?". she said as she was curious about learning the man's name after all it's nice to learn your potential allies name in the future rather than give weird nicknames to one another.
At least the conflict was resolved peacefully without anyone going to the hospital or worse have a dead body on the rooftop...regardless she did admire the man's kindness and chivalry, he just shrugged it off as if this whole dispute never happened.

He lowered his guard finally deciding that Yoriko was no more a threat to his life at the moment and that she had finally seen the error of her ways. He felt the wound on his cheek fully close and with his right hand he would casually wipe the blood off, leaving a slight residue behind, but leaving the appearance of no blemishes. He finished closing the distance between the two of them before finally stopping only a few feet away and extending his hand to her in a sign of good will. After all, he meant her no harm either.
"So Henrex trained you? That would explain the power behind those kicks and the reaction time.", Steiner stated as he rubbed his chin, thinking about just how small a world it was to be honest. After all, Henrex had given him a bit of training, and helped mold him a bit when he had been losing his path. Without Henrex he doubted that his psyche would have held together in the first place. "Also, we can drop the sir stuff. I'm no more important than anyone else.", Steiner uttered with a large shrug of his shoulders. He wondered just how far along her training had progressed, but decided not to ask questions as it was better not to pry into someone's personal life without need. Still, his curiosity was indeed quite strong.
"Instead you can call me Steiner. We will also keep this little jaunt between the two of us as I know that Henrex would probably seriously punish you if he found out.", Steiner said with an absolute tone of honesty. He knew Henrex and he probably wouldn't like that one of his pupils was off causing some form of trouble in the living world. Especially in this city where a few of the major organizations were located with prominent figures that were associated with Henrex were located. "So, where did you hide those honey buns? Can't keep the waiter or the client waiting after all.", he spoke as he placed his hands in his pockets as he began to feel at ease.

So Sensei and Steiner know one another? That's very intriguing considering that he's never told her about his past disciples before, judging by his tatics and attention to detail it was obvious he was an excellent fighter. Maybe after this is over she can have a proper sparring match with him, but it was nice to have someone who's also learning the ways of the shinobi or that's what she think he's learning.
Yoriko tilted her head in confusion as to why Steiner would do such an admirable deed, keeping the fight and the stealing between the both of them also seemed absurd wouldn't it be better to just tell the truth instead? She then shook her head in disagreement and looked at Steiner with a firm look her eyes showing so sense of humor or delight. While I do appreciate the effort Steiner I'd prefer if you didn't...after all it's not right to keep a secret between one another. And besides it was my fault for being so reckless, after all one must take responsibility for their actions.
Hopefully Steiner would agree with her own way of solving the problem, after all it's ridiculous that one should keep secrets to one another, why not just tell the truth and take whatever punishment is given as a result? But when asked about the whereabouts of the honey buns she just sorta cracked a smile...not a happy smile but a smile of worry and discomfort "Well..about that I kinda ate them all ehehehe." she said with a nervous tone of laughter and rubbing the back of her head.
B-but I can get a job to pay them back.

"To be honest I don't want you telling Henrex about this as to avoid you getting a stern talking to or worse...hours upon hours of repetitive training that will only lead you to sore muscles or exhaustion, maybe even both.", he said earnestly as he took his hands out of his pockets and pointed his right index finger at the young lady in front of him. "There is no need to worry him about such things if you have already got a stern talking to from me...unless you are a glutton for verbal harassment and unnecessary physical exertion. Then again this is your life and you call the shots.", as he finished saying this he gave her a warm smile, after all the problem had been solved, and once the buns were returned to their rightful owner the two of them could go off on their business.
Well, that is what he thought until she proclaimed that she had already ate them all. At first Steiner was impressed by her fortitude, after all it took a lot of that to go through a large quantity of honey buns. Secondly, Steiner's smile dropped rather quickly, and his anger began to flare. This young lady had not only stolen the honey buns, but had consumed them all with out so much as a thought about the repercussions! If this had been any other common street thug, Steiner would have dealt with it through martial prowess and a test of skill by divvying out some punishment. This was, however, Henrex's student. He didn't have it in him to strike a fellow pupil and more so than that, he was unwilling to get violent with someone that he had began to understand and communicate with. His smile returned as he silently "hmm'd" to himself with his hand placed on his chin. How was he going to proceed? He couldn't just return without anything to show for it.
"While the sentiment of you getting a job to pay the man back for stealing his buns is decent enough...I doubt the guy you stole from will see things like I do. The guy literally exploded on the poor clerk after he realized what had occurred. I can't go back empty handed and a simple 'IOU' isn't going to solve this issue either.", Steiner said with a sigh of acceptance as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. Money was scarce now-a-days, but the young man wasn't willing to allow things to get to a point where the both of them would get yelled at. Him for not being quick enough to stop her and her for eating all the man's food. This was an ideal compromise, at the cost of his own coffers of course, but it was a good compromise. "I will pay for the buns, but you will have to apologize to the man. After that we are going to have a serious talk about how things work outside of the dojo. Alright?", Steiner said with a questioning look in his eye as he grabbed what meager amount of money that he had.

Of course she sighed as steiner told her to not tell Henrex about what happened between the two of them but her honesty was one of her biggest downfall, she's seen that lying brings nothing but trouble for those around you.
She couldn't see steiner's facial expression change due to her looking around the area seeing people in a variety of different clothing and these devices shes never seen before, where were the horses and huge palaces? Regardless she replied to steiners advice on apolgizing rather than doing a part type job to pay him back.
"Oh i see...well i'll go apologize to him right away" she said with a smile and the whole learning what its like outside of the dojo instantly made her excited even more, its been so long since she's experienced the outside world outside of training and perhaps she'll learn a thing or to about modern day society as a whole.

While the young genin probably believed that what she was doing the wrong thing by revealing what she had done in the world of the living, Steiner believed that it would be better for her if she didn't walk that route. His short time spent with Henrex had allowed him to catch the glimpse of a man who loved to give his lectures and while he did enjoy the opposing philosophical points of view that Henrex had to his own, he didn't want to have her be scolded by two men. No, his scolding would be more than enough, and would definitely be adequate in this case. He had caught her, stopped her, and had not had it escalate to blood shed. In essence, job well done, send the troops home. No need to alert the master to the crimes of the student if they had already been dealt with, right?
He caught her eyes glancing around at the people passing by far from the roof where they were at and he couldn't help, but give a small smile. She was someone who hadn't been to the realm in the living in a while, he could reckon. So everything she was probably seeing was the first time that she had ever seen it, meaning that the vast majority of this new world was foreign to her. Steiner didn't know how to really deal with something like that as this world around him was just normal. Down to the cars, the people, the culture, and the basic needs that were granted to each and every single being that existed within the world that he knew. Where would he even begin to explain any of this to her? He had been so confident moments ago that he could discuss thing with her as an equal and maybe help her learn some of the common things that society had to offer, but now he was at square one with no map to easy introduction to lead them on their way.
He let out a sigh, realizing that it was best to not worry about it, and instead do the best that he possibly could to educate her in the ways of the outside world. It was the least that he could do and more over it was the only thing that he could think of doing. "Alright, lets go apologize to him, and then we will have a chat about some things, alright?", Steiner said with a warm smile as he motioned for her to follow. He would dash from roof-top to roof-top, not waiting for much of a confirmation to lead her back to the sweet shop. After all, since she was new around these parts he doubted that she would be able to find her way back even if she wanted to after only being there once. Also, this would allow him to keep his eye on her just in case she tried to do something else reckless again.
It took a mere two to three minutes for him to reach there and once he had arrived he would lean against the door frame. If she was there he would motion for her to go inside and apologize.Coding Altered From: [THEFROST]'s

WANDERING GENIN
This has got to be the greatest time of her entire life first she gets a fight of her lifetime albiet it was short-lived and now she can know what its like to be a human in the modern day era. All sorts of thoughts swirled through her mind what kind of clothing will she see, new means of transportation?
Yoriko then entered through and saw the same shop keeper as before this time with a rather angry look on his face. Heck but luckily she apologized and explained the whole situation as to why she stole the treats it was eager. Reluctantly he accepted her apology and told her to come again seen...just with money this time. Happily Yoriko sighed in relief and emerged from the building with a smile on her face and looking at Steiner once more. "So whats first on our to-do-list of fun?

He watched her apologize from the doorway to the sweets shop and did his best to mind his own business as his mind began to go through a thousand possible lecturing points. She had stolen someone else's property and it was his duty to make sure that she received, at least to the fullest extent of his ability, a stern talking to.
Right?
He rubbed his right temple with his left hand and then shook his head. This young girl had just came to the city with no idea how modern society currently worked. Sure, she had stolen, and that was something wrong and by that same process made it unjust, but he could not fault her for doing something wrong when she didn't know what she was doing. It was like yelling at a baby for throwing up all over itself. Besides, Steiner came to realize, this young lady was another disciple of Henrex, and for him to lecture and groan out some kind of speech would only probably put a wedge between them.
No, it was better to form a solid bond between the two of them because who knew what sort of things could happen in the near future that would force them to cooperate together after all.
So he swallowed the immense instinctual drive to lecture the genin and suppressed that response with thoughts of helping her out. But how could he help her? That was the million Yen question, he supposed. That train of thought was interrupted as he had been so deep in thought about this that he had barely noticed the returning ninja girl after her thorough apology. He almost jumped, startled by her appearance, and even more so by the question that she had posed to him.
Fun?
If she were asking him what he did for fun that would have been a simple question to answer. Training was by far one of his favorite activities, but he knew that probably wasn't something Yoriko would be too fond of in terms of an answer. Then there was reading, he knew of several libraries with extensive amounts of literature, poems, and historical texts in the general vicinity. Maybe she was an avid reader? Somebody who enjoyed a story or a book on medicinal herbs and their many usages? No, that was stupid.
To be honest, Steiner had always been somebody who had a good group of friends around him when he was in school, but when it came down to what went on after school? Well, needless to say while they were out socializing, he had planted his nose in a book, or hit the gym. He mused that maybe he was not the best person to be put in charge of hosting an elegant adventure into the realm of the mystery that was 'fun'.
By chance, Steiner was lucky enough to notice a few school girls, roughly around his age, and probably attending college courses walking by him talking about the mall. In an epiphany moment, Steiner muttered with absolute certainty to Yoriko:
"Lets go to the mall! There is plenty of cool stuff there...at least I heard there is."
His voice trailed off into a murmur as he looked away bashfully. In truth he had not once visited the mall in Karakura, choosing instead to focus on his nerdy habits of reading and practicing over enjoying the social aspects of the city. Still, this was probably the best way to immerse Yoriko in the culture of modern civilization, and besides...it could be fun.
Right?

The girl waited for an answer as the two walked along the sidewalk her head constantly staring at all the strange outfits even the girls uniforms were completely different compared to the ones back home..why were they allowed to wear such outfits isn't that against the code of conduct in this country? That was a question she didn't know the answer too..besides perhaps women are treated with equal rights and not be given curfews from their husbands or brothers.
Regardless Yoriko was excited to continue this friendship with Steiner, she pondered whether or not to ask about his personal life such as family but it probably would be a sensitive topic at hand..the girl then suddenly stopped. Before hearing the weird mall..it sounded like some sort of strange ritual or practice these modern day humans partake in their spare time. While she would happily decline the offer this is the only chance she had of knowing today's society and how she can hopefully grow accustomed too it. With stars glittering in her eyes she smiled widely at Steiner
"Mall? Whatever that is i'm itching to go, could be fun!"
With that Yoriko chuckled before lightly tapping Steiner on the nose before sprinting away from him to be the first to arrive at the mall. However if Steiner was quick enough he could grab her by the arm and stop her from getting lost.
