ENTER THE GENIN!!!
I. Basic Information
[b] » Name: Yoriko Morri
» Alias: Wandering Genin
» Age: 500
» Appearance Age: 16
» Gender: Female
» Nationality: Chinese
» Association: Gotei United
» Appearance Written:
Yoriko is an astonishing 5'2" woman weighing a total of 135 pounds and is given an Hourglass figure, both her bust and hips are relatively the same in terms of size and far as her waist it's very narrow and well defined. When Yoriko wears her Shihakshuo, it's severely modified such as the long sleeves being torn off and the hatome which is the equivalent of pants are ripped off as well only showing her bare hips. Underneath her entire outfit is a black body-suit and as far as shoes she prefers to go barefoot, while other shinigami may look in utter confusion on her choice of modification she doesn't care one bit, she believes that the loosened sleeves and allow for more dynamic/flexible movement in both her kicks and punches.

I. Personality
» Personality:
Honor is a very strong adhesive that forms the backbone of Yoriko's personality. Born and raised as a member of the illustrious Sun family, she has always felt the necessity of keeping her family's name in-tact without a single shred of besmirch. She speaks in a polite manner no matter whom she is interacting with, though she is not infallible and is prone to losing her respectful speech when dealing with individuals whom she feels do not deserve it. Her Chinese accent is thick and, due to interacting with others who primarily speak Japanese, has a very stilted way of keeping up conversations with, for example, the Shinigami she interacts with. (This will be dealt with in a form of broken English that is not meant, in any way, to play upon an offensive stereotype) This tends to have a comical context to it when Yoriko misunderstands someone speaking a different language, as she tends to misconstrue things quite a bit.
I. History
» History:
Yoriko was born Sun Ya to parents Sun Yi and Sun Jiang in the city of Sha Tin, located in the Eastern New Territories region of Hong Kong, China. A descendant of legendary figure Sun Tzu Ya, much like the rest of her family (five brothers and five sisters), were taught how to act in a very upstanding, respectful and respected manner and all assisted one another in daily duties from the earliest ages of five and six. Not only was she taught the family's main religion of Taoism when she was young, but once she was at least fifteen years old she had begun training in her family's unique brand of martial arts, which involved channeling qi throughout the user's body and utilizing it for a variety of different purposes. Most of the time Yoriko used it for reinvigorating purposes, to regain energy that she lost throughout the day performing a variety of different tasks.
As the next in line to inherit her family's martial arts school, primarily due to a lack of interest in her brothers and sisters who all branched out to pursue a variety of different careers, she held true to the Virtue of Dedication and sharpened both her mind and her body all throughout her young life. It got to such a point that she would get into fights with her fellow students for their constant taunting and disgraceful remarks toward her family's name. Though she did her best to try and keep her cool, throughout her younger years Yoriko was a firecracker of a woman who would throw a punch or a kick at the slightest provocation. It was only through the Sun's family ties that she was able to avoid expulsion, though she was not able to avoid harsh scolding nor suspension. Eventually, however, Yoriko was able to pass through the Chinese equivalent of middle and high school, finally graduating by the age of eighteen.
As her father passed away numerous years later, the young, twenty-three year old Yoriko inherited her family's school and begun to spread flyers all throughout Hong Kong inviting those interested to train with her. Those who were interested paid different fees dependent on what they could afford, causing them to gain a great deal of admiration for Yoriko before they had even begun training. As time passed, she herself began to gain a very strong spiritual connection with her students, seeing them as the brothers and sisters that she never really had due to her birth brothers and sisters becoming so estranged that many had moved out of Hong Kong, some not even bothering to stay in contact with the previously fairly lonely Yoriko. Now that her school was properly together, however, she no longer felt lonely.
Due to her qi channeling abilities and connection to the spiritual realm, she had always had the ability to see the deceased but did not pay too much mind to it. It wasn't until she came across the deceased ghost of her father that she begun to meditate very late at night, waiting for the chance to see him again. Their conversations caused Yoriko to become very attached to her father in ways they had not when he was alive, as he was far gentler and more apologetic for how harshly he had treated and trained her. All good things must come to an end, however, as that very same father of hers' chain began to erode. One night, in which her students had stayed late, a jet black beast appeared that only she herself could see. Though she attempted her best to fend it off, it was able to slay at least three of her students before disappearing from sight.

I. Racial Techniques/Abilities/Skills
» Racial Abilities:
» Kidō: This is essentially the realm of magic for Shinigami. With Kidō, the higher your characters skill level is in this area, the more impressive, powerful and amounts of Kidō your character learns increases. For example, once you get into the advanced stage it will be easier to create your own varying forms of Kidō, overpower other weaker Kidō spells and things of this nature. Therefore, choose this skill carefully as well.
Hoho: Hoho is what make the Shinigami so fast when they begin to Shunpo or Flash Step. The higher this is for your Shinigami character, the faster they'll overall be in this state. So for example, an Advanced Hoho user would most likely outrun an adept or beginner Hoho user should they begin to speed things up in their fight. Along with that, the Advanced user could also have more room to dodge, avoid and attack more rapidly than the lower user. Thus, with this knowledge in mind, choose carefully where you want to place your characters speed.
Zanjutsu: Just what in the world is Zanjutsu? Zanjutsu is the fighting style for the Zanpakutō a Shinigami wields a weapon of some sort. The higher you are in this field, the more skilled you are with your Zanpakutō usually. If you need an example of this, refer to Kenpachi Zaraki when he used his Zanjutsu skills to utterly crash Nnorita in combat for an extreme display of Zanjutsu. To a lesser extent, you can also see Zanjutsu used when Hiyori started using her Zanjutsu skills against the Menos Horde that appeared during the battle with Aizen.
HAKUDA:
Yin Sen Shu (乞丐的風格- Beggars Style)
The in Sen Shu is one of China's more unusual martial arts. It has a very interesting and varied history that spans many centuries and many provinces. The style is also known by the names of Beggar's style and Vagabond School/Style. As the name implies, it is a martial art that is practiced primarily among China's wandering beggar's population, who form a loose knit society that is found all over China.
What makes this fighting style very interesting is that it was generally used by people who don't consider themselves martial arts experts.

Tectonic Barrier:
Description: A technique that increases the user's defensive power by allowing the user to draw any earth element beneath the ground below them to create a shield of earth particles that surrounds her. This ability isn't limited to just solid dirt or ground, it can be used with Concrete, Gravel, Asphalt, and even molten rocks; of course these type of materials are more difficult to remove considering most of these are used in conjunction with one another. Regardless it protects her from a percentage of incoming damage depending on the material used.
Great Wall
Yoriko commands the earth a few feet in front of her to rise up to a maximum height of thirteen feet and shrouds it with her energy. This wall has a variety of different purposes but cannot be moved once it has been created, as it must be destroyed in some fashion. When the technique ends, the earth will remain in place but no longer be covered in her spiritual energy, which means it'll follow the laws of logic once more and not have the same durability Yoriko. This piece of wall is able to block attacks of lower tier and below including melee attacks. This technique is instantaneous and holds a single post cooldown. The wall rises at speeds equivalent to a cero.
Unbreakable: What's Yoriko's zanpaktou lacks in is resistance to kido and other abilties, well this is the solution. Rather than a passive resistance to those she is required to activate a technique in order to gain such an ability which in this case is , but this is not without its perks; by having the requirement be active vice passive Yoriko's ability to repel such attacks is raised. Rather then just being able to break spells like kido and bakudo she can also break physical techniques, though the latter isn’t as simple. If Yoriko meets and breaks a physical technique she can negate the damage from the technique, but will still be subject to the after effects such as being sent flying and any secondary damage (such as crashing through walls, and other stuff)
Summon Earth Golem:
Passive ability: Earthen Bond
While the Earth golem is active throughout the battle it allows a portion of the damage Yoriko would receive during an attack to be transferred towards the Golem instead increasing her chances of survivability. The golem has the same abilities as Yoriko in terms of earth manipulation and her shikai and scales with Yoriko in terms of both offensive and defensive power. If the earth golem is destroyed it takes about 2 posts for Yoriko to bring back the golem and has a 4 post cooldown.
Damage Reduced hit by an attack (scales with Yoriko's durability)
Untrained: 0%
Beginner: 5%
Adept: 10%
Advanced: 15%
Earth Spikes
Description: The user is able to fissure a significant portion of the surrounding earth and cause the resulting shards to arise upwards. These shards can assume the form of sharp spikes that are capable of impaling enemies or a protective barrier to surround herself in.
I. Bankai
» Bankai Appearance:
- Spoiler:
» Bankai Abilities:
The bread and butter of her power is her ability to manufacture her own earth to use in combat or fortify the earth around her into something better. In both cases the earth takes on a hyper durable nature, coming exceedingly strong and resilient, able to take an absurd amount of abuse without even showing signs of wear. The amount of punishment the earth can take is linked directly to her offensive stat, the higher it is the more it can take per unit length before breaking. On average a block around 6 inches thick will have the full backing of her highest offensive stat, and by increasing the thickness of the block she can actually increase the amount of force required to break through the earth up to 2x its typical durability if she increases its thickness to 5 feet, the same concept also applies in reverse for decreasing the earth’s thickness, though divided into sixths. Damage can still be done to the earth even if the attacking stat is lower than its durability, but whatever harm befalls the stone is unlike to be anything other than superficial. Regardless of whether or not Yoriko is using standard or fortified earth she can manipulate it at a speed equivalent to her offensive stat and having it strike someone with the same amount of force, whatsmore it can accelerate spontaneously adding significantly to her powers precision and maneuverability.
Meteor Shower:
Similar to Concentrating on a specific point of interest Yoriko can summon a disk of rock and form it into a meteor via particulates then flip it into the air, once in the air Yoriko makes a series of hand gestures to break the meteor down into sharp pieces of rock causing it to rain debris down onto her enemies.
Earthquake:
Like all earthquakes they begin when two tectonic plates break at the fault causing a sudden release of seismic energy that make the ground shake. In order to use this ability Yoriko must transfer all her energy down towards her feet and then stomp the ground to create an incredible seismic event that wrecks widespread destruction, she can increase the magnitude gradually by a few points however it does leave a high risk of destroying everything around her and leaves her exhausted after prolonged usage.
Falling to Pieces: The golem can split apart into small versions of itself to engage numerous enemies at once or fight in more contained quarters. It can break apart into any number of golems so long as the total height of the golems equals 40 feet and the strength is divided proportionally between them to a minimum of Advanced strength strength. The speed of the mini-golems remains unchanged regardless of how many are made, the same applies to its instinct and sense scores. To initially split the golem costs Yoriko some energy, and more for every golem there after. The golem does not require any input from Yoriko in order to use this ability and can perform it on his own with the reaitsu cost naturally being taken from her pool. If the golems recombine and are then broken apart again for some reason no cost will have to be paid as long as it was done within 4 posts.
