Is it wrong to spare a life?

Love...a force some say is the strongest of all even gravity cannot pull especially between two people. In Ritsuko's mind she views both her and Toshiko as lovers, not the traditional love many interpret on television or media but it's love on a personal level...they understand the hardships they've both gone true as children and even today. She was gonna do whatever it takes too grow stronger...however, the one thing Ritsuko was struggling to get through her head is the concept of ending another one's life...she doesn't want to feel the emotional and psychological effects of doing so...sleeping every night only to be woken up by the constant screams and groans swirling throughout her mind.
And the worst part is, what if the person she killed was actually on the side of Justice and was forced to do these horrific acts..would she spare them or would it be another one of their tricks to drop her guard? It's like encountering a thief who stolen a week's worth of canned goods and apprehending them until realizing they were actually giving a few homeless children something to eat other then scrapes...and what if a significant other was watching the situation unfold and expects you to send the man away.
This was the biggest weakness Ritsuko had in terms of fighting potential...how can she protect the people she cares for if she can't finish an enemy.
Ritsuko began meditating in the meantime getting in-tuned with her cultivation and slowly building up her effectiveness. Ever since random demon guy assisted her in suppressing the dark energies within her it'd be wise to keep it under control.

Walking slowly, but with purpose, Tatsu crossed the forest and gave a soft smile. Just because he was on a job right now, didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the scenery as he moved. Stalking this woman, who had so far sent home six of his colleges shattered, and five in bodybags, he would have to be alert and on point. But, they had brought him out finally, so maybe not. Most of them had been babies, younglings. And this woman was strong, but young by all accounts. So he could press her against the wall and beat her with experience.
The order to capture her alive was an interesting one. They must have been desperate to send him out on a capture mission. He didn't have the best record, coming back with live prey. Swords were not so great for that. And so he walked, and eventually came across a young girl in the middle of the forest. Who else would be in the target location, along with having the same gender and age. Hair was different, but hair could be dyed. So he shifted subtly, and had his hand near his sword, so he could draw it if needed. Alive, did not mean intact after all.
"Good Morning Miss. This might seem sudden, but I am going to need you to come with me. I'd appreciate a lack of resistance, but I can deal either way. Whatever you might decide" He spoke. His heavy cloak covered most of his body, and from his facial hair and subtle wrinkles, he could be considered quite old. And the most overt part of her was his eyes. They were closed, and even though his head was tilted to his target, they were yet to open. Maybe opening would do nothing for them.

Ritsuko was letting nothing distract her cincentration until her attention was interrupted by a man who called her Miss..he was shrouded in a small cloak covering his entire body other then small glimpses of his facial features. What's weird was that he wanted her to follow him which definitely raised a few eyebrows.
The old man was a shrivelled creature he looks as though a puff of wind could blow him down. His deep wrinkles seemed to carve a map of his life on his still agile and mobile facial features. His twinkling eyes were framed by thick white eyebrows and on his stubbled chin were white whiskers
Of course, Ritsuko wasn't going to just listen to the man and follow him...despite his tone of voice sounding like a trustworthy individual she wasn't buying it at all at least with Random Demon Guy he could be trusted due to him knowing Mirja. Plus she didn't know who he was and his purpose for being here but she wasn't going to go down without a fight. Of course, she wasn't going to kill the man of course, only rough him up a bit until he pleads and runs away.
I'm giving you 3 seconds to walk away, I don't want to use hurt you.
If the old man didn't abide by her orders she'd rush towards him with immense speed and initiate a simple kick to the face, however it would be only a distraction. If everything went according to plan she would use The Hundred-Man Armed Fists technique to strike his back.

Tatsu smiled softly at the woman's claim that he had three seconds to leave. If he had any doubts about the identiy of the girl, he didn't now. Nobody except a hunted woman would react like that to a stranger, even a stranger who made quite the remark as he did. And then to further enforce the point, she leapt up from her sitting position and rushed at him with a kick to the face. Tatsu moved his body off to the side, headshots always rather easy to avoid, even if they were thrown faster than usual people. The claims that she was a unique human were pretty true.
So, Tatsu pulled the trigger on his sheath, and a gunshot rang out, but nobody was shot. Instead, it seemed a unique sheath mechanism to draw his blade at unprecedented speeds and make a slash for the girl's leg while it was still up in the air. He would restrain himself to disabling, none-lethal attacks because he needed to bring her in, but he didn't know how long he would be able to do that. A sword thirsted for blood, and would not return until the foe was vanquished. And vanquishing a foe generally meant them being a bit dead.
The cut was deep, aiming to cleave her muscles in two, but not down to the bone. A bone-deep strike was just a waste of effort to cut through with no benefit that cutting flesh and muscle didn't already give. The blade in his hand was a blood-red one that crackled as an electrical charge ran up it, sharpening the edge and causing it to vibrate at a frequency high enough to make the sword vibrate at a frequency enough to distort molecular bonds. And it was blood red, from hilt to tip, as if it had drunk the blood of a thousand foes.

All of a sudden a gun-shot could be heard ringing inside of her ears was it a firearm he had hidden inside his garb...no it couldn't be since she would've felt the bullet lodged inside her body but instead it was a sword unsheathing ready to strike her approaching leg. What was interesting however was that she could hear what appeared to be vibrations in the air? Or was it his sword...electricity began to course through the blade as it's red hilt and red symbolized the blood of what seemed to be thousands of people.
"Shit!"
This guy wasn't an ordinary human at all, was he a shinigami, a demon, trained martial artist? Whoever he was she wasn't going to be outplayed, she's been training with the likes of Mirja Eowla and Henrex Astillon both professionals at close quarters combat. However, Ritsuko didn't have enough time to stop herself from continuing the momentum so she placed both her hands firmly on the ground to twist her body changing the direction of her attacking heel to hopefully avoiding the blade and used the back of her right heel to strike his jaw.

A rather unbelievable movement took her leg out of the sword's path and smacked it against his jaw at the same time, which spun him for a few moments before he got his head back in the game and used the flailing momentum to take a few steps back while keeping the target in mind. He could see how this one had avoided capture for so long. And not just that, but sent back his friends fractured, if not dead. He would have to bring out more stops than he had expected, and if she ended up dead, then that was just that.
"Hmm. Quite the specimen. I can see why they called me out after all. I have been trying to bring you back alive, but that will have to be a secondary goal, it seems" He sheathed his sword, twisted his body softly, and took a deep breath. The girl was in front of him, there was naught littering the ground, and nobody was in the surrounding area. It was time to unleash the Ichi Ougi, Yūrei Ashimoto. He looked up to Ritsuko, and then opened his eyes. Deep white with black scleara, he was definately not a normal human. No eyes looked like that. He locked his eyes with his targets, and bore into her with his gaze.
And then he was on Ritsuko, his blade drawing from it's sheath to slice her from hip to shoulder. How he had managed to clear such a distance so fast - and why there was still the sound of running footsteps - was a question, but she needed to act now or the man's blade was going to take her out for the count. he drew again, without the rifle shot this time, and the thing rushed towards her, intent of opening her torso.
Caught up in the moment of life-or-death, and shielded from view by the man's body, Ritsuko would probably not see the incoming Tatsu, who watched her intensely for any movement and would then follow her and thrust his blade into her gut. If she did see it, the question remained, which one was the real one. Or were they both?

The kick to the jaw worked as she saw him fly in the air, if that didn't work her entire leg would've been chopped clean off or for the very least critically damaged but it wasn't time to celebrate as he was regained his boundaries and began to do someone with his sword. It was difficult too tell due to the distance between them but it appeared he was ready to get serious and Ritsuko was ready to retaliate whatever was coming towards her.
Without warning the man was in front of her ready to strike, and judging by his movements it's obvious he was targeting her shoulder hoping to slice her arm off like butter. It was impressive that he was able to appear right in front of her with little noise but unfortunately for him he was going to be in a world of trouble, it was going to be a risky move but it was better then nothing. Quickly, Ritsuko used her right hand to literally grab the sword and hold it tightly allowing her to use the Armed Fist technique albiet with her left arm.

Rather a risky move. To grab a sword so sharp, and hold it tight was asking to lose fingers. But it was all for something as she punched forward and splattered the man's head with a fist, it's very form dissipating like fog faced with the mid-day sun. Which people generally didn't do. Sure they could pop if you hit them hard enough, but generally there was something left of them. And grabbing a sword generally did something, but Ritsuko's hand was no more cut than had she grabbed a butter knife and squeezed gently upon it's blunt edge. To take a stand and try such a risky move indicated she had clearly not seen the second man behind the first, and it was from there that the danger came to the young Ex-Quincy.
At the height of confusion, while Ritsuko was questioning her knowledge of human anatomy and what actually happened when you punched someone really hard in the face, a sword came through the none-existant chest of her assailant and cleared the short distance between the two in an instant. Ritsuko would need to react with such speed it borderlined instinctive, and the Quincy girl, while having trained with skilled people before, was not quite on the left to move without thought yet. So it seemed the fate she had in store was to get a gutful of sword, precisely aimed to avoid any vital organs, but still penetrate her front to back and cause a tremendous amount of pain.
"Could have just come with me and saved us all the trouble, but no. You had to go and start a fight. I'll never understand you women...But you did bring out my Yūrei Ashimoto, so you've got that going for you, which is nice"

Everything was going well as she began punching her supposedly target with a flurry of punches in quick succession, however the enemy she punched wasn't physical at all but rather mimicked to give the appearance that he was being hit. As well as the expected blood to drip down her hands as a result of grabbing the sword was non-existent.
In a instant her confident look was changed drastically to that fear as her eyes widened as she saw a glimpse of the man ready to pierce her flesh with his blade, their wasn't enough time to think of a strategy to avoid the situation, as if by instinct Ritsuko made a quick attempt to save herself to avoid potentially getting stabbed and losing conciousness via blood loss. I don't submit so easily you bastard
So she used both of her hands to grab the sword and using all her strength to push it downwards to not strike her gut but rather the ground beneath them. If successful she would then headbutt the son of a gun.

There was doubt in Tatsu's mind as his sword was grabbed and pushed down, an act both stupid and not all-together successful. Instead of a precise and well-aimed strike, his blade was pushed down and ended up penetrating her womb, just above her crotch instead. She was strong, but this girl was stupid, no thought behind her actions, just doing for the sake off..what exactly? He couldn't say. But the outcome was bloody, painful, and generally not great for her.Which was something he had hoped to avoid, he did not like to cause undue pain, but here he was, being forced to cause undue pain. She was just risky move after risky move, and now the payout had come back to bite her in the ass.
"How have you dealt with so many of my men before me? Sure they were not exactly veterans, but anyone could take you down, you do half my work for me" He didn't say it in a taunting fashion, more of a stating a factual point. Maybe her skill laid in ambush tactics and other none-confrontational methods of combat. "My High-Frequency Blade will ensure a very clean cut, but even so, you are probably going to bleed to death if you don't get that looked at soon. So you can keep fighting, or you can cease and not die"
