» Reiryoku Technique Effects: Sklaverei is a technique that builds on the already powerful ability of the Quincy to gather reishi, although this time, in the most powerful way, by enslaving it. Sofia managed to create and acquire the technique after continuous exposure to the effects of The Melody as affected by her release form. The spiritual energy around her, much like a crowd is to a sensational artist, is drawn to her and rendered helpless at her mercy. The technique can tear away and absorb spiritual objects and constructs like weapons (excluding the zanpakuto), buildings in Hueco Mundo or Soul Society, as well as spiritual creations/beings. By enslaving the spirit energy of objects or constructs, Sofia is able to increase her own energy output and the attributes that rely on her energy, like her speed, techniques, and her power. And since it diffuses reishi and filters them for absorption, it allows her to transfer the above regardless of the nature or attributes of the reishi, like poison etc. If enslaving the particles of an object with some forms of abilities, Sofia can obtain up to one if the opponent is at least as strong as her, and up to two if they are weaker. When enslaving the spirit energy from spiritual creations, Sofia can completely absorb a being whose tier doesn’t surpass her own, granting her both the increase in her attributes and the ability it possesses. However, should the spiritual being/creation be stronger than her, she would only be able to enslave the reishi that govern its abilities, rendering it unable to use them but leaving the individual physically intact.

Despite the power of the ability she crafted, she noticed that like anything, it was balanced with a long list of disadvantages. After all, even in the wonderful world of artistic creations, perfection, was simply a utopia. For starters the technique can only be used during her Vollstanding release. When enslaving reishi from spiritual creations/beings, she’s limited to how many she can absorb and from what level since it checks against both the opponent’s tier and her Vollstanding mastery. At a Beginner mastery, Sofia is only able to enslave reishi from spiritual beings/creations whose tier do not increase her own and she is limited to only one spiritual being/creation in that case. When against opponents of a lower tier, she can enslave particles of up to three spiritual creations/beings. At a mastery of Adept, she’s able to enslave particles just as she could before but with the addition of being able to enslave reishi from beings/creations up to a tier higher than hers. At Advanced, beings/creations of two tiers higher than her may have their reishi enslaved, though she’s still restricted to one in that case, though 4 against weaker opponents. At Master, any spiritual creation can have their spiritual particles enslaved, though she is capped at 3 for those whose tier exceed her own and unlimited for those that do not exceed hers. When dealing with masteries at less than Master, any spiritual creation/being who is at least 4 tiers lower than hers, have the restriction on how many she can enslave lifted. Unfortunately, enslaving particles from spiritual creations/beings also forces physical aspects of said beings onto her appearance. The effects of the technique, both the physical and the augments in powers or new abilities she may acquire are not permanent of course. Sklaverei will only last for as long as she’s using it in Vollstanding, stops should she ever exit her release form. Under no circumstances will Sofia be able to enslave the particles of a player character to have them destroyed. No way around it.
