» Personality: Alison is a bit of an eccentric. She's not the most conventional person and sometimes her behavior catches people off guard. There are some social queues that she ignores. She's not unaware of them, but mostly doesn't care. This is one of the main reasons that people sometimes feel awkward around her. For example, personal space isn't something she always honors. She isn't a cuddly type person, but someone who has no problem being touchy. It's not always in a friendly way either, but in a curious way. If someone has a feature that she likes, she'll get closer than she should and probably poke at them. Another example of social norms that she ignores is sensitivity. If you ask her if something makes you look fat, she'll probably say yes. If you say you're stupid, she'll nod. She sees no reason to lie about stupid shit, so if you're being an idiot, then she'll say so. It only changes if something hits a boundary she won't even touch.
Alison is an adventurous person who has no problem taking risks and trying something wild. She loves experiencing new things, which is why she has a plethora of hobbies and other things she enjoys doing, even if she isn't good at them. For example, she sews, knits, practices martial arts, cooks, does hair, is a sketch artist, and has recently taken up photography. She has tried many things, and is always willing and ready to try something at least once. She's the type to go sky diving or bungee jumping just because she was bored one day. If she doesn't like something, she'll never do it again, but you won't see her saying no to almost anything right off the bat. There is only one thing she will say no to immediately and that's hunting or other activities that harm nature and its creatures. Alison has an appreciation for nature and doesn't like seeing it destroyed.
Alison is an energetic person, but also gentle. She's like a "big sister" to others and a Mother to those who are much younger. She enjoys the company of children greatly and has no problem spending an entire day playing games with them. She has enough energy to keep up with their wildness as well, so it comes easy. Alison is able to get along with just about anyone, but there are certain traits that she does not like in people at all. First of all, narcissism is not something she'll deal with. The "I deserve this" attitude is something she may punch you over. She has no problem starting a fight since it is often that she has every ability to finish it without fail. Alison is someone well versed in combat and if you piss her off, which is hard to do, taking you out is an easy decision to make. Alison prefers not to fight and doesn't like hurting people, but sometimes you make exceptions. It's hard to make Alison not like you, so coming back from that is harder.
"The Archivist" is the easiest name that anyone could come up with to describe how this woman behaves. Since she was young, Alison has always gathered things up and put them away to keep for later. Anything she ever gathered was useful in some way. Unfortunately, the word 'useful' for Alison means something different. If it's 'pretty,' she'll call it useful. She's a bit of a hoarder. She collects things all the time. Whether these things are trinkets, money, memories, experiences, friends, or even powers, Alison collects it all. Don't let this confuse you with gluttony or greed. It's not a selfish "mine," but a fun habit that she truly enjoys and has no problem sharing with the world. If she has something another needs, she'll gladly hand it over, but would prefer that person return it. She does get anxious if someone doesn't return it though, and that isn't a side of Alison many want to see. Another way to make this woman mad is not returning what you've borrowed.
Spiteful. Yeah, Alison has a vindictive spiteful piece of her personality. It's not something that usually comes out, but if she truly feels wronged by someone, it's best to stay out of her way. Alison isn't the type to take someone down with violence, but more the type to hurt their ego and pride. She hits people where it hurts the most, with very little regard for what it will do to them. The only care she has at that point is what it will do to those around them. In other words, she won't attack family or do anything that is irreversible. It's like what she did with her Mom. She blamed Erika, rightfully, for her Father's death and then proceeded to outclass her Mother in every way and give her none of the credit. In the end, it destroyed anything her Mother had left. To add insult to injury, Alison just left home after that as well, with the intent to never speak to her Mother again. Instead, she chose to travel the world and explore, using her newly found freedom to its fullest.
» Likes: Alison enjoys the worlds she traverses through. Whether it's the World of the Living or the Sugiuran Realm, there is always something new and exciting for her to find. She doesn't leave the Sugiuran Realm often, but will choose to do so when she gets bored. She leaves for a month, returns to see a year has passed, and can explore some more. If she feels more time needs to pass, then she'll stay in the World of the Living for up to six months, which pretty much guarantees some kind of change in her home world. Other things she enjoys are tea, the ocean, and spaghetti. Alison seriously enjoys herself some spaghetti. Want a way to her heart? Figure this shit out.
» Dislikes: Alison doesn't like mushrooms, anyone who is mean to children, coffee, and very few other things, but she seriously does not like it when things stay the same. She cannot stay in one place for long. She needs to have new environments and new people. She doesn't know why she is like this, but she is. She chalks it up to being a drawback of her power. As she accumulates powers and spells from her travels, she accumulates experiences, friends, memories, and other things to satisfy some emptiness she has. It's the only thing she could come up with to explain it.
» History Alison was born to Erika Chisaka and Danjiro Chisaka and given the name "Aoko Chisaka." Growing up under the thumb of Erika was hard for Aoko. With very little freedom and a lot of expectations thrown on her from a young age, Aoko never got to have a normal child hood. She was oppressed by her strict Mother and the emasculated man that is her Father was too afraid to actually say anything against his wife. Erika, you see, was a well known Magus in the Eastern Kingdom of the Sugiura Dimension. She expected the same, if not better, from her daughter. By the time Aoko reached her teenage years, she had pretty much mastered her use of psions and the magic that she formed along with them. Her mother still expected more, pushing Aoko to become the most powerful version of herself. Aoko began to resent her Mother, and the two ended up clashing a lot. When looking to her Father for help, his lack of backbone showed and Aoko felt emotionally abandoned by both of her parents. She often ran away from her duties and began planning to completely run away from home. After a huge fight with her Mom, she finally did.
Aoko had been planning it for a year. She worked two jobs to pay someone to get her the hell out of the Kingdom, but knew there was no where she could really go with the connections her Mother had. Instead, she decided to hire someone to get her out of the realm. She knew of the Human Realm, a.k.a the World of the Living, and decided that would be where she made her escape. She did so, successfully, and was free for four months. While in the World of the Living, traveling through Europe, she changed her name to Alison Chase to fit in better. During her time in Europe, she saw quite a few impressive and interesting things. The people of this realm were strange, but fascinating to watch, especially the many different races that inhabited the realm. Alison even met a few Sugiura that lived there and realized that she never had to go back home after all. She planned on it, unsure whether she could live in the World of the Living, but decided she didn't want to go back to the strict life she once lived. However, something felt wrong...
Alison started feeling like someone was watching her, following her everywhere she went. She'd constantly look over her shoulder, knowing she felt someone's eyes on her, but never caught them. She took matters into her own hand, ready to destroy whoever was following her, but after luring them into a dark alley and catching them off guard, she realized it was her Mother. The two had an argument about whether "Aoko" should come home or not, as expected, but her Mother switched up on her when she mentioned her Father. Apparently, Alison's Father had become gravely ill. Alison quickly returned, though part of her did not want to care, to see that he really had taken a sudden turn for the worst. When she asked how this happened so quickly, her Mother explained to her the difference between the way time flows in the two realms. What was only four months for Alison, was four years for them. Her Father had been suffering for that long, only holding on to speak his final words. Alison took his hand in hers and heard his apology, but he died before she could forgive him. Alison forever blamed her Mother for putting her Father and her through hell.
The next few years, Alison practiced her magic enough to wipe her Mothers reputation out of existence. No one would know that woman's name ever again. Her ability to collect many different powers helped this. She seemed like a prodigy of sorts, someone hard to defeat and hard to match, and like she had a trick up her sleeve for everything. And if Alison encountered something new? Well, she'd have it as a new trick for the next time. When Alison turned twenty-four, she realized that Erika Chisaka was only being called "The Mother of Alison Chase," which was majorly insulting to the prideful Erika. First off, Alison no longer used her birth name, including the last name, so it was like she had denounced her bloodline. Secondly, the once famous Magus of Suggestion was no longer the impressive or cared about woman she once was. Alison had taken that from her the same way Erika had taken her childhood and her Father: without a care in the world. With that, Alison took her victory and left the Sugiura Dimension again, returning her a life of adventure.
» Sacred Weapon
Alison's Sacred Weapon is the simple long necklace that hangs from her neck. Since it's a part of her, she is the only one that can remove the necklace, which mostly keeps it safe. The necklace also acts as the storage dimension for her collection. Her Archive consists of a large amount of spells of all kinds that she has collected over the years. When she uses Modern Magic, it glows a bright blue and the energy around it often spins and twirls as she is casting. Anything that Alison has put into her archive, she fully understands it's code and make-up for. This allows her to create and rewrite the code of any existing item or energy into one of the things she holds in her Archive.
» Natural Abilities Alison has two natural spells that came from her origin.
»Personal Mystic Eyes: Alison's personal mystic eye ability helps her in quickening her ability to collect. Alison sees a lot of the world in the breakdown of her magic. When she looks at water, she can see the magical breakdown of water before actually casting her collection spells. There are some things that will take too long to collect, and this ability will tell her otherwise. It is helpful when using her Impulsive Accumulation, since merely glancing at an incoming attack can tell her whether or not she can actually collect it or not. There are six colors that occur when her eyes discover the difficulty of a spell: White (E), Blue (D), Green (C), Yellow (B), Orange (A), Red (S).
For powers that are invisible, such as auras, barriers, or "force," Alison can still collect them. She cannot use her "Catch" spell on them because there is a completely different code for them. Since they aren't solid or made up of visible energy, their code is "meshed" with the world around it. This means that Alison has to pick out and study the code to collect it. Since she is the type of person to get bored, this isn't something she does often, but this is the reason she has not collected air. Air isn't visible without the world around it making it so, and even then you're not seeing air, but the effects of it. This forces Alison's collection of this type of thing to take three times as long.
D Spells: Once per post, no cooldown, unlimited uses.
C Spells: Once per post, 1 post cooldown, 20 uses per thread.
B Spells: Once per post, 1 post cooldown, 15 uses per thread.
A Spells: Once per post, 2 post cooldown, 10 uses per thread.
S Spells: Once per post, 3 post cooldown, 5 uses per thread.
Modern Magic: 2 casts per post.
Ancient Magic: 1 post wind up time.
These rules only apply to combat threads between PCs and will otherwise be used for fun. Some spells repeat in different sections. It means that spell is more powerful than the previous one.

IV. Abilities & Equipment
- Name: Catch
Type: Modern
Subset: N/A
Rank: A
Effect: Often used as a sudden line of defense, Alison creates a ripple around her that acts as a barrier. The barrier breaks down an incoming attack for the attacks duration and collects it, temporarily holding a copy of it in her reservoir of spells. From that point on, Alison is able to mimic the exact properties of that specific spell for a day. The duration, cooldowns, uses per day, and drawbacks that the original user has to deal with when using that spell are also implemented onto Alison. When she chooses to use the newly accumulated spell, Alison casts it perfectly, as if she knows the ins and outs of the spell as such. At times, this also means that she casts it more efficiently than the person who was originally casting it. This only happens because Alison believes the spell is complete, while the original caster may think the spell needs work or has been trying to develop it more,
allowing Alison a more stable able way of casting it than they had.
- Name: Collect
Type: Ancient Magic
Subset: N/A
Rank: A
Effect: When Alison has the ability to take her time to study and acquire a new element for her collection, she can collect just about anything. When Alison collects something, she's not just collecting items or specific things. She's collecting their very essence, their life, their makeup, their "code," in order to rewrite it over and over again.
This allows her to add stone into her collection and then repeatedly summon stones. She can also take the original formatting of that stone and make it smaller, larger, heavier, change its color, or whatever else she wants to do to it. If she originally collected the code for regular old fire, she can summon it in blue, purple, or whatever she wishes. She could make it hotter or even make it cold as ice. Whatever she collects, Alison can use. This is why nothing is ever useless to Alison and why she often hoards things.
When doing this, Alison says an incantation or prayer to allow her to understand the makeup of the thing she is trying to add to her collection. Since it is a spell that takes a variable amount of time, depending on the items actual makeup, this spell cannot be used in any combat thread (unless given permission by those in the thread). Alison can also pick and choose what she is understanding. Just because she wants to collect an apple, doesn't mean she cares about making the tree it came from.
- Name: The Archive
Type: Ancient Magic
Subset: N/A
Rank: S
Effect: This isn't entirely a spell, but more of an extension of Alison herself. It acts as a massive storage area that only she can access. This is technically another dimension in where Alison stores all of her collected powers, elements, knowledge and spells. She has the ability to collect hundreds of these things, big and small or weak and strong. To make this easier to understand, think Erza from Fairy Tail, but instead of summoning armor and swords, it is summoning spells and other magics that Alison has collected over the years.
Magic in The Archive: (Anything not named here is a minor spell that will be named with the rest of the spells under "The List of Magic Spells" below.)
> Fire
> Water
> Lightning
> Apple
> Strawberry
> Wood
> Cotton
> Tea Leaves
> Wheat
> Watermelon
> Carrot
> Glass
»Personal Mystic Eyes: Alison's personal mystic eye ability helps her in quickening her ability to collect. Alison sees a lot of the world in the breakdown of her magic. When she looks at water, she can see the magical breakdown of water before actually casting her collection spells. There are some things that will take too long to collect, and this ability will tell her otherwise.

D SPELLS:
- Name: I'm Hungry.
Type: Ancient
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This intricate little spell allows Alison to summon that of any food she possesses in her collection. By holding out the palm of her hand, she merely speaks, "I'm Hungry for a ______" filling in one of the food items she has collected. By rewriting the the code of the area in her palm to match the code of one of these foods, Alison summons it for her own, or someone else's consumption. With this, Alison will never go hungry.
Name: I'm Thirsty.
Type: Ancient
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This intricate little spell allows Alison to summon that of any drink she possesses in her collection. By holding out the palm of her hand, she merely speaks, "I'm Thirsty for ______" filling in one of the drinks she has collected. By rewriting the the code of the area in her palm to match the code of one of these drinks, Alison summons it for her own, or someone else's consumption. With this, Alison will never go thirsty.
Name: Torch. "I need a light."
Type: Ancient
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This spell creates a small ball of fire in Alison's hand. She uses it to create light or start a fire. It's merely a basic fire spell. Alison can make the flame glow unnaturally brighter or dimmer than regular fire. She can also make it burn in different colors.
Name: Heat. "Time to warm up."
Type: Ancient
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This spell allows Alison to make any item radiate heat. She can decide on the amount of heat that is radiated from it, so it can be used to adjust temperatures to be comfortable to her. Anything that this spell radiates heat from is not hot itself and merely acts as the medium, so Alison cannot put it on someone's clothes in order to burn them.
Name: Cotton
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: Alison does knit, so this was originally made to help her do that without spending money. Since then, Alison has gotten the ability to create sweaters, blankets, and other items like that. She can alter the cotton based items to be softer, thicker, or thinner.
Name: Wood
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This spell is used to summon any minor thing made of wood. It could be a door, cup, chair, or bat. It could be some sort of toy, whatever comes to mind.
Name: Glass
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This allows Alison to create any sort of small or minor item made of glass. If she wants to make a mini-statue, she can. One of the main things she makes are mirrors, windows, or glass for random reasons that have come up in her past: mainly drinking.
Name: Freeze.
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This spell gives Alison the ability to freeze any sort of liquid. She does this by rewriting the liquids code to freeze, so liquids that usually don't freeze will freeze. The amount of liquid that can be frozen this instantly, with this particular spell, is nothing more than 32 ounces. Alison's accuracy with this spell does allow her to freeze only portions of a liquid, creating an "ice" of the liquid that she is freezing.
Name: Ice Blade
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: This spell allows Alison to create a blade of any shape, made of ice, as long as it doesn't weigh more than 10 pounds. She isn't one to use weapons, so she mostly uses this spell to create ice skates. She's pretty good at ice skating, so it's fun.
Name: Plant
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: D
Effect: Similar to the hungry and thirsty spells, this summons foods. However, it does it on a mass scale in the form of ripe plants. She buries her hands underground to get this done. Alison usually uses this to help mend or create a garden for those having trouble with theirs. She can use any of the collected food items in her archive for this.
C SPELLS:
- Name: Ignite
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: C
Effect: When Alison casts ignite, she holds her hand out in the direction she wishes to cast it. The air in the targeted area can be seen, for a moment in time, having smoke slither through it. The moment that ends, this spell sets the air on fire. The air in the ten foot spherical area ignites and is enveloped by fire. This fire then sucks in the air around it, causing an outward explosion that pushes anything immediately on the outside of that ten foot area back up to fifty feet, while also burning them.
Name: Iced Floor
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: C
Effect: This spell covers a 100x100ft section of floor in ice, or actually creates a floor of ice if there isn't one. Alison normally uses this to create an ice skating area for herself, but it is something that can be used in combat. It's ice, so use common sense.
Name: Shock
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: C
Effect: This spell fires a quick moving wave of lightning through the ground and air in the shape of a sphere. The lightning shock electrocutes anyone within the area in which it was cast, and slows them by 5% each time they're struck with this attack. The ability reaches out to a ten foot radius, centering on Alison's location.
B SPELLS:
- Name: A place to call home.
Type: Ancient
Subset:
Rank: B
Effect: This is a basic spell, but it takes quite a bit of energy. This literally creates a house, using the wood code she has in her archive. She usually just makes a small hut, but sometimes she'd like something a little more comfortable to live in.
Name: Outburst
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: B
Effect: The only visual warning for this spell is the sudden distortion of air around Alison. You know that ripple you see off in the distance when it's really hot? That is what a person sees when she is about to cast this spell. This spell rewrites the makeup of the air around Alison, creating a cylinder of fire around her location. The fire created rushes outwards with enough force to push people back. The fire continues moving outwards, away from Alison's location, for fifty feet before suddenly exploding in a massive burst of flame, continuing it's forceful destruction within an extra one hundred feet.
Name: Flare-Up
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: B
Effect: The same casting effect as the previous spell: Alison rewrites the make-up of the air above her, shooting a massive cylinder of fire into the air. Upon reaching a height of one hundred feet of continuous fire, the cylinder expands outwards in a massive burst of flames, reaching two hundred feet in all directions, including downwards.
Name: Shock
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: B
Effect: This spell fires a quick moving wave of lightning through the ground and air in the shape of a sphere. The lightning shock electrocutes anyone within the area in which it was cast, and slows them by 10% each time they're struck with this attack. The ability reaches out to a twenty foot radius, centering on Alison's location.
A SPELLS:
- Name: Scatter
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: A
Effect: This spell creates a field of warped looking blue energy in a direction that Alison states. The field turns any objects, whether physical or made of energy, into tea leaves. This spell cannot effect spirit weapons, like a zanpakuto, but it does effect normal technology, spirit attacks that hold no actual "life," so it can effect kido-like abilities.
Name: Electrocute
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: A
Effect: This spell fires a quick moving wave of lightning through the ground and air in the shape of a sphere. The lightning shock electrocutes anyone within the area in which it was cast, and slows them by 20% each time they're struck with this attack. The ability reaches out to a fifty foot radius, centering on Alison's location.
Name: Ice Prison
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: A
Effect: What is used as both an offensive and defensive spell, Alison uses this ability to surround herself and her opponent with ice. It is a very sudden, last second technique. In doing so, Alison has to take a deep breath, hold it until after frozen. Her opponent must be within five feet of her to allow it to work correctly. Once she casts it, ice instantly forms around her and her opponent, keeping them both still. She releases the held breath, combining it with her heat spell, and melts the ice rapidly, but starting from her location. This gives Alison a short moment before the ice is completely melted to make an attack or get away from her opponent in order to live and fight another day.
Name: Shatter
Type: Modern
Subset:
Rank: S
Effect: The most powerful spell in Alison's arsenal. This takes advantage of Alison's ability to rewrite coding. This specific spell allows her to rewrite incoming attacks, similar to scatter, but in a more dangerous way. It turns the incoming attack into shards of glass and can be done on any attack that is cast in her sight. So a regular kido, let's say Sokatsui, being fired at someone who understands how to deal with that particular attack, suddenly turns into shards of glass. The force, strength, and dimensions of the attacks are no different. This spell only changes the make-up of the attack that is being used.
S SPELLS:
- Name: An Entire Town
Type: Ancient
Subset:
Rank: S
Effect: This is one of Alison's larger spells. It takes quite a bit of set up. First, Alison must designate an area large enough for the town she is trying to create. She then places her hands on the ground, concentrates, and slowly builds a town while she concentrates to herself, muttering the incantation, "Locus revocare. Adhuc possidebuntur domus et familiae. Officinae vivere possint. Garden per subsidium. Locus revocare." (A place to call home. Houses for families. Shops for livelihood. Garden for sustenance. A place to call home.) This creates up to 10 homes, 3 shops, and a farm. Note that this is only the basic look of a town. No technology is involved. There is no plumbing or electricity. This is only to make sure that people who need a home can have it. It's nothing special, but it's big.
