» Basics: Sui-Feng's Shunko is one of her most powerful and famous abilities. Being one of the only people to have mastered the technique of shunko, Sui-Feng is capable of mass amounts of unique skills throughout her rigorous training both with and without Yoruichi, the creator of the technique. With enough focus, Sui-Feng is capable of channeling the force present within all Kidou and applying it to her outer body. This is an incredibly jolting and energetic skill which not only allows her to hit harder and faster, but even some aspect of control over the wind. Although shunko lacks many practitioners, each one is said to take on an element - Sui Feng's being wind as a base. When the shunko is activated, wind begins to swarm around her body and visible white streams of air stream out from her back and sides, surrounding herself in torrent of kidou influenced wind. Unlike Yoruichi, who's shunko is represented by lightning, Sui-Feng gets a near complete mastery over the wind in her surroundings - something which will be explained further below. If she is wearing her captains haori at the time of activation, it has said to blow it off along with any excess clothing other than her bare shihakusho with long cuts down the side.



» Incomplete Shunko: One of the earliest forms that Sui-Feng was capable of controlling was her incomplete shunko. While she was still learning how to use it, Sui-Feng has now been shown to vaguely activate her shunko. This has no "major" use other than not going all out on an opponent which may not require it, or simply to show off a few skills without the activation of her terrifyingly destructive "Infinite Shunko". Unlike her full shunko, Sui-Fengs energy consumption is still a major factor - keeping this active for long periods of time drains her of energy, even though it is in the weaker state. Her incomplete shunko only have one torrent of wind on the right side of her body, almost like a vacuum of wind ripping one side of her away while the other remains still.


» Enhanced Physical Strength: One of the biggest things about Sui-Fengs incomplete shunko is the strength boost it gives her. Although she has perfected the art and is much more powerful when fully released, Sui-Feng is not to be underestimated with this tier of release. She has been shown to punch through incredibly hard surfaces, even going as far as holding up the incredibly powerful bankai blade of Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō with her bare hand. Although this is not invulnerable, she has shown incredible application in her hakuda as well. By applying this powerful kidou essence to her skin, her incomplete shunko has made her punches leave giant waves of wind in their wake, even mixing a plethora of different offensive kidou into her hand to hand fighting. The entire strength behind this is kidou - enhancing her body to a point of ignoring physical limitations.

» Enhanced Kidou Strength: Alongside the physical strength, her incomplete shunko has quite noticably enhanced her kidou capabilities. By heightening her energy with this kidou, she can virtually cast any kidou, this goes for forbidden kidou types as well. Should Sui-Feng find herself in a rough spot, she can use these enhanced kidou techniques to not only activate faster, but hit with double the strength of a normal kidou.

» Further Mobility Increases: As Sui-Feng's shunko is focused on the idea of wind, this plays a major factor into her mobility as a fighter. When the incomplete shunko takes hold, she can not only guide her body with the wind surrounding her, but increase her shunpo speed by double, meaning she can leave double the copies, travel double the distance and even strike from multiple places at once. Given her already incredible speed, being one of the fastest individuals to ever live, this is no small feat.

» Infinite Shunko:

» Reishi Recycling: One of the most incredibly powerful aspects of Sui-Feng's shunko is her ability to recycle and reuse her reiatsu that powers her shunko. This means that, theoretically, Sui-Feng could constantly have her shunko active with absolutely zero reiatsu and energy drainage. This is incredibly powerful given the scale of which it enhances her body, but given enough time she could quite literally overpower many foes simply by constantly recycling this shunko. This is not in totality however. Though she can theoretically recycle it and never leave the form, getting hit and disrupted with certain techniques can prove to be rather hindering. If the opponent is somehow capable of disrupting this reiatsu constantly wrapping her body, she can temporarily lose control of the shunko and leak energy, meaning she loses uptime. Although this is incredibly hard to do, and for someone to even push her to "Infinite Shunko" would take a lot of effort.

» Incredible Strength Output: As one might imagine, filling your body to it's peak with the enhancement of kidou brings your body to a physical level beyond what is normally possible. Although her strikes are already deadly, her Infinite Shunko makes it even more so, even ripping through seki-seki stone with her bare hands, even despite it's properties repelling all reiryoku. By enhancing her body with this kidou, Sui-Feng is also capable of infusing kidou based attacks into her hand to hand fighting. This means she could use things such as soukatsui, blasting an opponent on impact, or warping her limbs with tsuzuri raiden's lightning. This further enhances her capabilities, making her hand to hand fighting nearly unmatched.

» Unmatched Personal Speed: As wind is her main element during this shunko, Sui-Feng is capable of using this wind to her advantage - not only manipulating the wind to give her overall faster speeds - but even increasing attack speed on punches, kicks and thrown devices. Often times, people will find themselves getting hit, slashed and impaled with things before they even realise what had happened. To people with low mental deduction or inability to read fast movements, they could very easily recieve a thrown shuriken to the stomach without seeing ANYTHING At all. This is useful in surprising opponents, but also reacting to an attack or getting in one final attack before a defense is put up.

» Kōgō Kaze No Tate (皇后の風の盾): Translating to "Flash cry: Wind Shield of the Empress", Sui-Feng has mastered the art of her wind based kidou acting as a defensive shield. Should anything strike this incredibly strong barrier, it would be met with a force of kidou/reiatsu as it attempted to slash it's way into her body. Depending on the strength, reiatsu output and other enhancing factors: the opponent, even of higher tier, will find this armor incredibly hard to pierce.

[color=#dba935]» Kazaana (風穴): Translating to "wind pierce", Sui-Feng has mastered the ability to channel the swarming winds and reiatsu around her into a piercing like maneuver for her hakuda.





» Why: I'm wanting to expand upon the Shunko which Sui-Feng has learned over the past 400 years. Given It's incredibly powerful nature, I wanted to give it more room to understand and grow rather than just a simple paragraph that currently exists in her app. Four hundred years to master and find new ways to utilize her Shunko is an incredibly long amount of time, so I want to emphasize how advanced she is in this.
