The Harbingers of Deceit, Shaan-Rahu-Khara Vespara [wipwap]
Mon Jul 31, 2017 1:04 pm
Shaan-Rahu-Khara
शान-राहु-खरा
शान-राहु-खरा
» Name: Shaan, Rahu and Khara are the three names given to the Rakshasa demon that inhabits layer 662. While they share the same body, depending on which persona is currently overtaking his body, he has one of the three names. When in his demonic red form, he takes the name Khara. While in his most humanoid form, he takes the name Shaan. While in his ghostly and blue form, he is known as Rahu.
» Gender: Male
» Alias': The Harbingers of Deceit, The Ever Changing Identity
» Age: They are 235 years old, while having no official birthday, all share a birthday on 26th of January.
» Species: Rakshasa Demon
» Affiliation/Residence: Their current residence is within Hell itself, as a Rakshasa, taking control over layer 662. Although their layer is directly linked as their home, Shaan, Rahu and Khara all have different residences and preferences. Shaan finds comfort in the human world, among those within the forces of good and being the truthful beacon he proclaims to be. Rahu takes residence and finds comfort in the isle of Iramasha Realm. Although he is not an Iramasha himself, Rahu has provided information and help to those within the realm. Where as Khara takes residence within his layer of Hell, and within Demon World as a whole. While not directly associating with Shadow Fall, he is known to show no remorse to their enemies and provides information should if benefit him as well. Each section will be expanded upon in the required section of each persona.
The Multiple Identity Syndrome
The main identity behind this Rakshasa is that he lacks a single identity. Not only do the three separate personas take different names, but they also undertake different concepts are ways of fighting. Depending on which identity he is currently assuming, his appearance will also change and warp along with what situation he may be in. This allows him to assume different roles in the world and have different outlooks, all with a unique spin based on appearances. This allows him to have no direct allegiance, but connections based on each persona.
Since he has placed a portion of his power into his Hell Beast, the Hell Beast actually has a direct control over the three personas. The best way to imagine this role is like being a parasite where the Rakshasa is the host, he latches on and is capable of changing his persona into one of the three by infecting and changing his bodily structure, chemical makeup and even develop new identities. While it may be a parasitic relationship, the main reason this is so simple for the Hell Beast is because Shaan, Rahu and Khara have allowed the control with no resistance. He is a template for the Hell Beast to inflict it's will, if it wishes to change persona he will. Yet, despite this, once the persona is switched the actions and control over conversation is entirely onto Shaan, Rahu or Khara. The Hell Beast has the power to shift, but the free will and persona falls directly onto the Rakshasa itself.
The most important factor to note is that all memories remain between the switched identities. This means, for example, Rahu is capable of seeing and remembering what Khara has done as if it was Rahu who did it. This can somewhat bring out about bouts of guilt for the other identities, as well as aid in certain instances by gaining insight into an opponent/opposing groups tactics. Although MEMORIES are shared, thoughts and emotion are not. This means that while they share what they've seen visually/audibly, but lack the intention or thought behind a specific act. For Khara in particular, this allows him to mislead and deceive his other identities by utilizing his own secretive personality trait.
The Layer of Hell
Depending on which identity he is currently assuming, the layer of Hell can change drastically. Deep in the pits of Hell at layer 662, not a lot of souls pass through all that often. Though he stands guardian and uses the place as a home, someone like Khara will have a more hostile and violent environment than the other two.
Shaan: Shan's layer is quite calm compared to many others layers which are designed for eternal punishment. When Shaan is in control, he refuses entry to those whom would see punishment to the damned. In his layer he refuses such things as pain and ignorance to rule, and creates a world of beauty rather than pain. When one enters Shaan's layer, they would be met with a plethora of dense forests further than the eye could see - mixed around with large lakes, open fields and mountains with a bright blue sky. The environment itself is designed to be almost earth like, akin to national parks with fresh water lakes. Due to his high regard for peace and wishes to bring it about to everyone, all who would be damned to his layer are expelled to another.
- Spoiler:
Rahu: Rahu's version of Hell is mystical in simple terms. While Shaan sports a much calmer and human based world, Rahu's layer takes on the appearance of a mystical and spiritual based essence. Due to his love for nature and wildlife, Rahu's layer is wrapped in a plethora of white tinted plants, crimson red petals on the luscious plants. Wrapped in wisps of white smoke, everything in this realm looks as if it is encased by Za Koa, pumping life into all of the surroundings, visually. Crimson tinted lakes, long rivers of za koa infused waters. Everything in this realm is alien with two main themes: Black, red and white auras emanating from it all. Unlike Shaan, Rahu's layer is used to punish the damned, below ground a plethora of tunnels and Cul-de-sac's, almost "pits" of damnation which has a variety of chains to tie someone up for all eternity. Some of these tunnels and rooms are lined crimson "veins" of sorts, pumping Za Koa through the earth in and around the rooms underground. These pits and tunnels cover the entirety of his layer. Looking at the layer, the sky seems to shine a constant pure white twilight over the realm.
Khara: Khara's layer is the most typical of what one might imagine Hell to be, albeit still with a lot of differences in design. For Khara, he chooses to have many mountainous regions, earthen red tips with a mixture of plants climbing up their sides, holes carved into the side with roaring infernos burning from them. His name "Friend of the Inferno" isn't just a name, many people consider his layer to be one of the most punishing to enter due to the intense heat that it is constantly radiating. Like a constantly pumping furnace, the large infernos within the many mountains act as "burning pits" for the damned, to literally burn for all eternity. Khara is not afraid to assume his role as a punisher of the damned, and will embrace it should he need to. Other than the mountainous ranges, there are a number of flat plains, structures and arenas acting as both training grounds and homes. The sky in this realm is tinted entirely black, as pitch black the midnight sky, the main forces of light being the expulsions of flames.
Shaan
शान
शान
» Name: Shaan Vespara (शान, "truth") is the name given to one of the three identities. Shaan is said to translate into "pride" or "peaceful" in Hindi language. Shaan chose said name due to finding a small charm which said these words, a simple token yet enough to inspire such a name. The name Vespara was chosen as if remains an indirect relative to Ravan Vespara, the Original Rakshasa. Although he is born of death, Shaan chooses to distance himself from the Vespara name, refusing to associate a lover of humanity with the Demon King. The name itself is purely adoptive, but chooses to keep it as reminder to his origins. Even if he were to change it, there was no guarantee Khara and Rahu would do the same.
» Alias: The Denizen of Truth, Friend of Humanity
» Sexuality: Heterosexual
» Residence/Affiliation: Shaan considers himself friend of the humans, and for that very reason, he takes up residence within Vanguard and allied countries. While not being allowed in Japan due to his counter parts and anti-demonic devices, he is often found out skirting on human settlements and bounces around allied territory in hopes of helping those humans who are struggling. This lifestyle has earned him the nickname "Friend of Humanity" and "The Denizen of Truth", seeking to bring about nothing but truth, no matter how harsh and painful. Shaan mostly affiliates himself with forces such as the vanguard, Yayjuu and Vizard Corp. Although he is a Rakshasa demon, Shaan feels as if he has a strong connection to humanity as a whole. Their planet has been over run by the influence of demonic forces, those who would see it come to harm, and wishes to rid such a beautiful planet of it's burdens. For this reason, he fights and works with those who would typically be his enemy.
Written Appearance
» Body type: Shaan's body type overall is considered rather slender, although his body is muscular toned, continues to sport a slim body. At 235 years old, Shaan is the most human shaped in appearance when compared to his counterparts, his skin tone is rather pale, close to that of a ghostly complexion while still holding a hint of humanity. Although his body is slender and could be considered as weak, that muscular tone is a hint that nobody should actually mess with him. His whole body hangs rather loosely and rarely shown as tense, he keeps a relaxed approach to his posture. In hopes to find friendship with the humans he surrounds himself with, Shaan chooses to present himself as welcoming and approachable. Shaan stands at six foot.
» Face, eyes and hair: Although his face holds a rather stern and serious look, he seems like a rather casual and relaxed persona when resting. Although he can look manic when he smiles or gets into a fight, he also sports a battle hardened persona. With his scars covering under his left eye and one across his bottom lip, he shows that he has experience throughout life, showing maturity and growth. His eyes are the most unique part of his face, his right eye being a deep blue that radiates beyond normality, while the left eye glows with a deep red hue. While his hair is mostly a pitch black, on the right side of his face a deep blue dye is streaked through the front of his hair, slicked back and covering a portion of his face.
» Tattoos: Although normally he does not have tattoos sported on his skin, in the midst of combat he is shown to grow five separate tattoos across his face. On the left and right side of his face, he has a red line coming down from his scalp and ears, while a red streak also draws down his forehead in a short line. Apart from his battle tattoos, Shaan has a very large black tattoo down his left leg - a ritualistic Hindi based design which mixes demonic scripture with tribal like design. Apart from the colour itself, the tattoo radiates a soft red glow on the outer edges. In stressful circumstances, Shaan has made this glow radiantly through his subconscious. Up his right arm, Shaan also sports another ritualistic deep blue tattoo - stopping at his elbow from the palm of his hand.
» Irregularities: Apart from the less than normal human glow of his eyes and tattoos, Shaan has multiple scars and a few unique attributes to his bone structure. His ears, most notably, are much pointier than a typical humans - the best comparison to such a thing would be a small elves ears, pointed enough to be noticeable but not large enough to stand on the outside of his hair. Apart from his ears, his elbows are shown to be double jointed, meaning his is actually capable of bending his bones almost directly backwards with enough effort and without injury. Many of his bones appear to also be double joined, leaving weird lumps underneath his skin and across his body - but capable of bending his body in unique and weird ways. Not only do the appearances change, but the bone structure as well, being unique from the other identities.
» Main attire: His main attire is rather revealing from the waist upwards, not only does he lack a shirt, but the only form of coverage appears to be down his left arm with a large metal armor like plate. Sprawling across his chest lightly, the metal arm at first would appear to be just attire - but the first thing that is noticeable is that his arm is infused with a demonic like nature, red skin pairing through as if it is seared into his skin. From the waist down, he wears rather loose and relaxed looking pants, baggy and less restrictive than most outfits in combat. At the waist level, a rather large "belt" holds up the loose pants, a brown rope being the medium.
» Alternate attire: Not too different from his main attire, Shaan is found to usually sport a half-robe which covers only the right side of his chest in a diagonal shape. With the same loose pants and brown belt, a white lace is shown to be tied around the half robe to close in around his stomach/upper waist. On each hand he has a soft leather which acts as a vambrace esque armor.
» Accessories: A small charm he keeps on his person at all times, wrapped around his wrist is a small symbol embedded into bone which reads his name, "शान, Shaan". This pendant is how he initially chose his name upon assuming the identity of Shaan, vowing that pride and truth shall be his foremost attributes. Other than the small charm, on each ear he is shown to wear small blood red earrings. The left side earring is shaped like Yin, while the right hand side is shaped like yan, signifying should they connect, Shaan becomes whole, having found his purpose.
» Infection of the demon's claw: Unlike his other forms, Shaan appears to have some outside influence and directly from his demonic side at that. Though he is mostly human in this form, large portions of his demonic shine through. This is most noticeable on his left arm which was previously mentioned to have a red skin and muscle melted into the steel armor, almost as if it's blended and tied into the skin itself. The red arm signifies his demonic origins and puts it on display through his left arm, not only leaving him with a mark of what he truly is, but showing it to the people he surrounds himself with. He does not try to hide it, for it is a part of him - whether he likes it or not, and others will need to look past the appearances to truly accept and gain his aid.
PERSONALITY
» Welcoming: Overall, Shaan is a very welcoming and approachable person. Not only is the way he spears meant to be soft and alluring, but he wishes others to realise while he may be a demon, not all of them mean harm. With the increasing number of demons in the world, Shaan mostly tries to treat others with respect. No matter their origin, Shaan is the side of all identities that wishes for others to not be worried simply by talking to him. This generally means that he is polite in most interactions, even if the person in question is being hostile towards him. Shaan aims to set a good example for people who come across him, and while he may not always take the identity of Shaan, will have a friend when he returns. This means he has a decent relationship among Earth based organizations such as The Vanguard or Vizard Corp, wishing to understand them and aid where he can. This can make his alliegence to certain groups touch and go, and act almost like a triple agent in a sense, but Shaan has nothing but good intentions.
» Friend of Humanity: As previously mentioned, Shaan has many ties to Vanguard and other Earth groups. Though he wishes to mainly protect humanity and save them from the grasp oof control, or destruction, Shaan will not go out of his way to interject in another's war. Perhaps if they asked, or he owed a debt, but asking Shaan to take up arms in the name of another makes him question his moral standing. Unless the threat is clear, Shaan will stay his blade. There are more ways to aid humanity and Earth as a whole, providing information from his travels. Though he is a demon, one of Hell at that, Shaan sees a lot of good in people. In humans. Yes, there are bad individuals who have strayed from a path of peace - but he hopes that one day he can help guide them back.
» Truthful: Shaan is said to never lie, no matter how hard the truth is meant to be, he will not falter should the truth become necessary. Whether other people believe his truths or not is entirely up to the individual, but upon becoming Shaan he swore an oath to never mislead based on information or emotion. For this reason he has the respect of many whom come across his path. Many people have said to consider him emotionless, not even hesitating to tell people the harsh reality, yet it is very much the opposite. Though he may not show it, he has a hard time maintaining that oath. It may eat him up inside, knowing that simple lie could spare the pain of another - but, in his eyes, it is better to know the truth than to simply live in obliviousness.
» Focused: His iron grasp on focus is said to be one of his most impressive traits. Once he is set upon an idea, his focus is seemingly invincible. This allows him to not easily get distracted, even throwing some emotions and reactions aside to avoid the biases they provide. In battle specifically, his focus allows Shaan to see past many illusions and even catch small movements which may be used as a feint or false attack. Focused in all things.
» Meditation: With meditation specifically, Shaan has been said to go days without actually breaking a meditative cycle. Using that steel focus to tune out anything in his surroundings, he can immerse himself in a deep meditation which can remain for weeks at a maximum. Shaan uses meditation as a form of realignment in a sense, living as life with no lies and taking on the burden of many others takes a toll upon his mentality - even someone born of Hell gets stressed by his life. Most commonly, Shaan will be found using the meditative art created by Ravan known as मौत स्पर्श (maut sprash, translated to deaths touch). This allows his body to project his inner emotions and even warp his body into a manner that is normally impossible without completely crippling oneself. By focusing on this mediation, his body can bend and completely reset bones into different locations. Further details will be listed in the required section.
» Transparency: Just as he tells no lies, he has no problem being transparent with his intentions and letting others know what's going on in internally. Depending on the person in question, he is known to be very forthcoming and friendly with this. Though some information requires discretion and silence, Shaan is not one to purposely keep malicious details from those who would require it.
» Through The Facade: Almost hand in hand with his iron focus, Shaan has a unique ability to read and look through the facade many people put up. In a practical sense, this gives him a generally good idea of when someone is lying and is capable of reading others by watching subtle body movements, twitches, and even breaks in speech pattern. In a battle sense, this allows him to look past many illusions and seek breaks in patterns, reading fighting styles well or even outright looking past illusions with focus and deduction alone.
» Peaceful: All of these personality traits align into a single category: peaceful. All of his actions, in battle or otherwise, are typically meant to bring about a singular purpose of peace. Though he doesn't exactly oppose killing others should it truly require it, Shaan will not be afraid to kill should it need. Peace should be achievable through any other method than death and destruction, and he will exhaust any other option in the process of doing so. He also realises peace in the grand scheme is a fleeting pleasure than many people chase, one that may never truly happen. But if he can make the world a better place for even one person, or town, city or country... It's worth a shot to him.
» Battle Persona: His battle persona is actually not too different from his normal self, he will often try to speak of peace and end the fight before it continues and worsens. Though this is not always successful, and he understands as such, he will often be dead silent. Focusing intensely on beating the opponent before him, Shaan utilizes that massive scythe to cleave an opponent before they truly have a grasp on what's happening. No messing around, mocking or holding back. When someone is identified as an enemy, they will be purged. Should the conditions change, this gear will flip for Shaan and may even refuse to fight some people based on new information or outlook. Shaan has even shown he will put down his weapon and refuse to fight back, getting beat up for a long time until they give up.
» The Demonic Surge: Though he has plans of helping humanity and bringing about peace, his demonic surge is something of a "break" in Shaan's usual mindset. The Demonic Surge is when a surge of Khara seems to overtake him for a time, almost like a clash of identities in a sense, but if pushed to the limit all thoughts of peace can be removed for a time. This could be considered tapping into his demonic origins for a short time, using it to sort of lose himself and thoughts. This is usually involuntary, incapable of remembering his actions after the surge happens. For this reason Shaan tries to distance himself from his Vespara family name, and demons as a whole, to avoid bringing out this surge.
Rahu
राहु
राहु
» Name: Rahu Vespara (राहु, Severed Head) is the name given to one of the identities. Rahu is considered to be the severed head of an Hindi demon named Svarbhānu, said to "swallow the sun" and cause a total eclipse. This name was chosen after a long time of internal conflict by Rahu, struggling where his place in the world was and why he even existed. Although Rahu now knows his place, Rahu gazed upon that story with interest, choosing a terrifying name. Just like Shaan and Khara, Rahu chooses to keep the last name Vespara as a reminder of his origins. Though he does not hate his lineage like Shaan, he wishes to understand it and correct his adoptive families mistakes.
» Alias: The Seeker of Tranquility, Friend of the Aether
» Sexuality: Asexual
» Residence: As previously mentioned, Rahu is often found within Iramasha settlements or seeking to find his way into Iramasha Realm to live and become one with their wildlife. For this reason, Rahu has no direct home, he is a wandering soul who finds comfort in the Aether of Iramasha, finding peace through their elegant and beautiful wildlife. Atop of this, some Iramasha have offered him a home or friendship due to his service to the Union, giving them information on certain events and providing whatever help he can. While mostly associating with the hybrid Iramasha, Rahu is open to the angel and devil counterparts and will aid them all the same. While he is a demon and a direct opponent to a lot of their laws and morals, Rahu hopes that his compliance can allow him access and peaceful relationships with the beings engulfed in Aether and Nether.
Written Appearance
» Body type: Rahu is very similar to Shaan in overall body structure, both sharing a rather slim structure and weight, but maintaining that toned muscular chest and stomach. Although his body type is less impressive in terms of muscle, the ghostly white skin which covers him from head to toe almost glowing with it's radiance. Out of the three personas, Shaan and Rahu share the most similar body type - with the exception of skin. Other than the obvious changes listed, he does not have a metal or demonic looking arm like Khara or Shaan use, in fact it is much more human. Rahu stands at six foot five.
» Face, eyes and hair: Rahu's face is quite different from his counterparts, not only his the mentioned ghostly white skin more prominent, all tattoos and scars seem to have faded. His eyes also appear to glow the radiant white, both even leaving a trail of white haze as he moves. With no iris or pupils, his entire eyes look as if they are entirely filled with raw energy. The reason he has no iris or pupils is rather simple - eyesight does not matter to him. Rahu forgoes the natural usage of eyesight that most living creatures use and replaces it with a force called "vision of Za Koa." Outside of his eyes, his pitch black hair is the most obvious - yet is entirely untied and let to flow freely down his body, stopping at armpit height. Allowing the vibrant eyes to shine through, his hair is parted in a v-shape around his face.
» Tattoos: This is something that remains among his most humanoid identities, just as Shaan has the red tattoos, Rahu maintains these same tattoos just tinted a deep blue. In the midst of battle, his facial tattoos are said to appear and close in from either side of his head, a short streak down his forehead. This also goes for the tattoo on his leg, instead coloured pure white and glowing black. While the tattoo on his hand is exactly the same as Shaan, Rahu allows it to take on the same pure white as the one on his leg. Where Shaan and Khara would have his metal vambrace mixed with his demon arm is just a large tattoo tinted blue.
» Irregularities: The strangest part of Rahu isn't the glowing eyes, nor the tattoos on his skin, but the remarkable lack of imperfections. There are seemingly no irregularities, this means no scars and no wrinkles, all of which seem to fade upon Rahu taking hold. Rahu mostly says that this is due to "being unable to be hurt", boasting in jest and dramatics. In reality, it seems as if as soon as an injury is inflicted upon him - his body will patch it up and leave no mark or indication that it ever happened. He could cut off a limb and reattach it, and the body will still find it and leave no scar. This will be explained further under Rahu's powers, but for now it is best to note that Rahu's irregularities lay in his lack of irregularities.
» Main attire: His main attire is not too dissimilar to Shaan, in that he typically is found to wear no shirt and mostly sport his slim yet muscular looking chest. The main difference seems to be the half shirt he sometimes wore is tied down his legs, adding yet another layer of clothing over his baggy pants. The white rope which holds all this up is tightly wrapped to his waist - restricting movement of said clothes in battle or when traveling. As mentioned, instead of the metal vambrace and demonic arm, he sports a tattoo across his left arm with a shorter black wrist brace from his elbow down to his fingers on both hands.
» Accessories: When Rahu is the current assumed identity, the charm that read "pride" now changes to read Rahu, yet again where he claimed his name from. The charm changes from a rather small engraved word into twin scythes which are attached, on one side being the symbol "रा" and on the other "हु". Both of these together spell Rahu, referencing the Hindu demon whom brought about the solar eclipse. The earrings also appear to change slightly, while one still represents yin and the other yan, they both change to black and white - signifying that he is two halves, the yin and yang.
» Sigil of the demon's claw: Although he loses influence over the demonic arm, it would be foolish to assume all traces of his demonic appearance would disappear. On the back of his palm, a small red sigil appears to overtake his hand. The sigil is written in demon language, mostly to show his origin.
PERSONALITY
» The Cold Shoulder: As the name suggests, Rahu is a very silent and observant individual. Language, to him, is just an excuse to disturb the peaceful bliss of nature that he very often surrounds himself with. This means that many times he will outright ignore individuals because he finds no interest in what they are saying. Rahu is not known for his welcoming aura either, so sometimes he may not even say anything and simply place his large blue and white scythe against their neck in a threat. Though he would rather not kill randomly, he is not entirely opposed to ridding the world of an annoyance. In place of giving others the cold shoulder should they provide nothing of interest, Rahu will often talk to himself - questioning his life, others around him and never having to worry about a stupid answer in return. It is a lonely life in many cases, but Rahu sometimes sees that as the best way to live in a world full of hostility and anger like it is today.
» Tranquility in Solitude: Rahu is often found within the wilderness of many different worlds, his very favourite of which being in Iramasha's Realm. Due to the dense forests and blazing mountains/hills, he will often live in solitude among the animals and wildlife there. This doesn't mean he will outright ignore civilization and, even though he likes solitude, will require some connection with others. Even though his ghostly appearance turns a lot of people away at a simple glance, he may sometimes try to connect. But due to his appearance and race, many people turn him away - and he's not entirely sure that he blames them. Rahu is similar to Shaan in that he wishes to preserve life, but going about it seems impossible when people don't care for his own. Though he loves solitude and it can be easy for him to clear his mind by being alone, he longs for a connection that allows him to live in proper civilization.
» Friend of the Aether: As previously mentioned, his favourite location and place to frequent is that of the Iramasha realm. The world and Union has a very distinct type of vibrant culture and energy to it that Rahu not only respects, but tries to understand. For a Rakshasa demon to become friends with and inhabit the Iramasha realm and settlements may be strange to many, and certainly to himself. Rahu takes an interest in the lifestyle for a few reasons - their usage of aether as an energy source is one of the largest ones. Not only does it power a lot of their cities, but the power itself can cause people to become an Iramasha - or even bestow new powers beyond what they normally were capable. It's the cornerstone of their society, similar in a way to how Za Koa runs throughout demons bodies. Another of the reasons why he finds company among the Iramasha settlements is because he doesn't feel outcast. Where as many human settlements write him off as being ghostly and terrifying like a "reaper", the Iramasha are use to many weird and inhuman appearances. Not dark like Hell, but welcoming a ghostly figure, much like they do the purity of angel Iramasha and their ascended forms.
» One With Nature: Touched upon briefly, Rahu will often find himself among the wildlife of realms. Whether it's on Earth, Iramasha's Realm or Demon World, he will often find the most comfort in the animals. Where appearances do not matter, where words do not hinder progress - but all that matters is action. To prove you're the strongest by fight, or simple presence. Animals, in his mind, share more about life than humans ever could. Maybe it's the fact that animals can tell no lies, or the whistling of breeze among the trees as he relaxes away from all trouble. The moment he immerses himself with nature, it's cathartic and like meditation in a sense.
» Reaper of Demons: Rahu, on a deep level, has a hatred for many demons whom try to destroy the world. For this reason, he could never find alongside the likes of Shadow Fall, much less align with them for a cause. Rahu gained the nickname "reaper of demons" through the act of slaughtering demons who tried to ruin the peaceful nature of Earth. Though he does not align himself with any group or organization, anyone who takes pride in their ability to destroy the beautiful world that is given to them should be purged from existence. Demons, specifically those from Shadow Fall, are the most obvious candidate as they run rampant throughout Europe and cause intense destruction wherever they go.
» Mildly Psychotic: One of Rahu's many problems is his lack of empathy in many regards. He can understand and wish to preserve the world without turning it to ash, but should someone violate his terms he "marks them for death". His code of conduct remains very strict, many of which other could consider psychotic. One: Harming the innocent marks you for death. Two: Attacking the defenseless marks you for death. Three: Destroying the world given to you for personal gain or pleasure marks you for death. These three tenants he follows may seem strict, but he considers them a necessary evil for those who would harm the world. Though he does not go around inflicting this law upon everything, she he could get opportunity, he would not hesitate to follow these laws. Rahu considers himself a more extreme Shaan in this case, not believing all can be saved - that some people simply need to be purged.
» Black and White: Much of the world is black and white to him. This comes as a flaw and a blessing in some instances, the problem begins to arise when people try to justify the means to reach the end, something which he does not have the luxury of agreeing to. Rahu may not always involve himself in others business, but when he does, many issues are sorted either one of two ways: It lives because he allows it, or it dies because he wills it. Such things as killing hundreds of innocent people to reach a positive outcome does not process to him, killing innocents is still killing the innocent - and the person responsible would be punished accordingly.
» Strong Willed: One of the key aspects of Rahu is how strong his mental fortitude is. Unlike Shaan who has incredible ability to discern and focus on certain things, sheer force of will allows Rahu to pursue his goals and not be pushed away from his goals. Although he may not be the best in terms of defensive capabilities, Rahu's will alone is enough to keep him getting back up over and over again. Whether it's through incredible injury or not, he will continue to find a way back up until he physically can't or he is dead.
» Battle Persona: Silent until death. Rahu isn't the type of man to scream out his attacks or talk a lot during battle, to him there is but one single approach - cleansing the enemy from this earth until not even their dust remains. This is a powerful trait when in the middle of combat, it allows him to focus and not lose sight of his goal - even if the person is mocking him and trying to trick him, Rahu will push through and not get worked up over meaningless words which carry such little weight in the first place. Men who fight with words lack the skills to use a blade, in his eyes.
Khara
खरा
खरा
» Name: Khara Vespara (खरा, Man Eating Rakshasa) is the name given to the most demonic identity. Khara chose this name initially similar to how Rahu did, finding interest in Hindi mythology and take on demons, choosing one of the most terrifying names he could muster. Aiming to not only strike fear in his enemies, "man eating demon" is quite an accurate reflection of his personality and life as a whole. Khara, unlike the other identities, embraces his Vespara surname, saying that he may be adoptive of the demon king, but considers him family - and all of those that share his last name, even his other identities.
» Alias: The Hunger of Beasts, Friend of the Inferno
» Sexuality: Asexual
» Residence: Khara is usually found within his layer of Hell, 662. Although he does not often leave it in pursue of Earth endeavors, if he is to leave, you are most likely to find him among demonic settlements. This means he will take up residence within Europe and among shadow fall controlled areas, demon friendly locations. Very rarely would he ever visit the likes of Iramasha island, Soul Society or K-world. In his mind it remains disgusting and impure, for this reason also frowning upon Rahu and Shaan as they choose to defy their heritage as a demon and live among the weak humans and Iramasha.
Written Appearance
» Body type: When one looks at Khara, the first thing they would notice is his lack of humanity. His body appears to be warped to show almost entirely a demonic presence, the once slim body is now stacked on, massive broad shoulders mixed with a red overtone of demonic muscle. Not only is his body much more broad, but his shoulders seem to back much more muscle alongside his upper body - the black and red mixture of tones toughly showing off this muscle. Atop of the physique changes, he also gains an entire two feet on his height. Where Rahu stands at 6 foot five, and Shaan at 6 foot, Khara stands at eight foot seven. This not only makes him terrifying in overall appearance, but can quite literally look down upon his opponents as if they are insignificant.
» Face, eyes and hair: Although humanoid in body shape, Khara lacks thew facial features which would normally be found on a human. For starters, his head is shaped in a strange manner, with two red eyes peering through a steel-like cage, large horns spread out to either side of his head and curl back in true demonic fashion. His mouth is a plethora of intense and sharp teeth, when opening his jaws one could gaze and see the razor sharp canines which would rip anything they touched to shreds. The main difference in hair is that Khara seemingly has no hair at all, as if all his hair was removed and it has been replaced by his large horns which spread out to either side of his body. This is quite the departure from Rahu and Shaan, embracing his demonic essence to it's full potential and abandoning humanity.
» Tattoos: Yet another difference is that all tattoos but one seem to disappear while Khara is assumed, the large glowing one on his leg is faded as well as his facial tattos. The only one to remain is down his right arm, a swirl of tattoos which glow an intense white. This tattoo isn't just for show and has relevancy based on his past and powers.
» Irregularities: In place of many of the tattoos, Khara actually gains an abundance of different "scripture", all of which is written in demonic language. The words for "home" and "eternal" are carved into his back, scar tissue shown to read these words. Carved deep into the red hue of his demonic skin, Khara uses these words to remind himself that his eternal home will always be Hell, he may assume the identities of Rahu and Shaan, but in the end he will always come back to Hell. Where he was born, where he shall stay, and where he shall always return. In addition to words, he also has lines carved into his red skin, located on the upper right portion of his chest. Each line represents the amount of people he's killed who have challenged him, either personally or to get through his layer in Hell. The number is currently sitting at 124.
» Main attire: One of the main similarities between all of his identities is how his main attire is typically always the same. There are minor differences such as Rahu wearing his shirt around his waist, but overall the pants and white tinted rope belt remain the cornerstones of his appearance. The colour remains the same with it's black and grey like aesthetic, mixing in rather beautifully with the black and red skin of Khara.
» Accessories: Just as Rahu and Shaan have some small trinkets, Khara also has similar small items which have personal significance. The small totem that changes based on his identity appears to take the form of a half moon, down it's curve the word "रक्तपिपासा" (Bloodlust) is engraved from corner to corner. His earrings also change with his identity, the yin and yang shaped jewelry now tinted entirely black - signifying the "dark" or demonic side. This isn't to say Khara lacks empathy or there is no light, but that there is no conflict within him and he is at peace with his demonic ancestry.
» Heart of the Demon: One of the most prominent visuals with Khara is the red glow which emanates from his upper chest down to around stomach height, the intense glow of Za Koa energies. This is nothing more than visuals at this point, but by exerting large amounts of Za Koa, Khara is capable of causing the "heart of the demon" to glow to an intense shade of red.
PERSONALITY
» Hostile: Out of the three identities, Khara is easily the most straight up hostile. While he might not just straight up kill you for looking at him or getting in his way, Khara is not opposed to using violence for personal gain. Alongside his cocky attitude, he will often inflict pain upon those who wrong him and even something as trivial as establishing dominance over another. Standing at eight foot seven, often times his hostility is simply implied, not even needing to lift a finger. Should someone attempt to harm Khara, he will not be afraid to crush them.
» Friend of the Inferno: Unlike Shaan or Rahu, Khara finds no piece in any foreign race or location. Being a friend of the inferno means that he is comfortable as himself within the confides of Hell, embracing his demonic origin unlike his other identities. For this reason he finds peace by simply being around other demons, treating them as family and hoping to prop up Hell and Demon World as the greatest region in the multiverse. Due to this likeness, many Hell Beasts which roam throughout Hell seem to respect him quite a bit - at least Khara, not his other counterparts. Unlike his adoptive brother in Ravan whom was tortured by Hell, Khara embraces it with all his might. Yes the sights may be ugly, but Khara sees this as making him stronger. By enduring these horrible sights, living through the eternal punishment of the damned, it allows him to understand his true self. There is no shame in being a Rakshasa, and he will embrace the inferno as long as he lives.
» Deceitful: One of the many common attributes is that Khara is no strange to deceiving anyone he comes across. To obtain his own goals, he will lie and cheat his way through many situations - and despite being hostile - often not have to resort to it due to his wit. This is a rather selfish trait for Khara, not afraid to hurt others as long as he achieves his plan. Not only do his multiple identities gives him insight into a life outside of Hell, he can use that information to purposely mislead others and ambush them for example. This is partly what makes Khara, Shaan and Rahu at war with themselves. Not only do they share the same memory, they retain that information for their other identities to abuse. The parasite may inflict and change his persona based on circumstance to contain him, but it is a dangerous game to play, deceiving not only others, but themselves.
» Exceptional Intellect: Just as he is deceitful and hostile, he is equally as intelligent and cunning. Not considering himself a "villain" as per say, Khara has proven to outsmart even his other identities to get his way. To outsmart someone whom has experienced all of the same memories as him is no small task, and when applying that to other people, Khara can be a deadly force to cause anarchy. Although his intellect is not just used to deceive and lie, he has actually helped many people by providing insight, aiding demons whom may be struggling or need aid. This proves that he is no an entirely evil being, something he would highly resist, but rather wishes to see demons not suffering. For this reason, he keeps his distance from Shadow Fall, only accepting odd jobs. An intelligent approach with all the targets they've painted on their backs.
» Inability for Remorse: Regret? Such a concept does not matter in the slightest to Khara. This is for a few reasons: the first is that the past has already happened, to stress and worry over something that is out of his control is beyond foolish. The only thing he can do is make himself better in future, or not make the mistake again. The second reason is because without that thought of failure, and letting remorse cloud his judgement, he will never see clearly and beyond that veil of doubt and stress it dons upon him. To keep his mind clear and personality in check, this remorse removal is a key portion to his identity.
» Secretive: Even when working with others, he will often keep many of the details a secret and refuse to let others in on his plans. This isn't really out of experience and being burned in the past: but more that he understands that people will often try to screw you over, so why give them the chance? If you're the only person to understand the plan or goal you have set, there is nobody to ruin it because you placed trust in someone. While this is somewhat a lonely mindset, it is a practical one in the mind of Khara, he would rather have that loneliness and keep his secrets than get screwed about by someone who he trusted. Apart from that, many of the times it seems a little subconscious. Due to lacking anyone directly close to him, Khara has trouble talking about himself or anything at all - he is mocking and cocky, but anything of substance relating to his personal health, mentality or plans are almost like a mental roadblock. Born untrusting, in a sense.
» Puppeteer: Hand in hand with his intellect, Khara is someone who likes to play the puppeteer and pull the strings behind an event without directly getting himself involved. Though he does love a fight and will take the opportunity to cleave an opponent in two, there is a satisfaction that fills his body when he orchestrates an elaborate plan to mess with a situation. In a way this could be considered sadism, while he is not directly inflicting the pain, the satisfaction from pain is all the same. One of the many flaws in Khara's persona.
» Battle Persona: If one word could be assigned to Khara's fighting style it would be: Mocking. Not only does he play with his opponent by doing fake attacks, cheeky assaults and annoying strategies - he is constantly letting the person know what they're doing wrong, that they're leaving themselves open, that they're terrible at fighting a demon. It's extremely hard for him to take a fight seriously - even in a serious situation he will use that mocking to try anger the opponent. In very rare circumstances, Khara will become isolated in thought: putting everything he has into killing an opponent. In this moment, he is not mocking or messing around - he will eliminate the opponent. For this persona to take hold, it would require a terrifying situation or tremendously strong opponent.

The Shared Powers
NATURAL TRAITS
» Master Weapon Skill:
» Incredible Physical Strength:
» Overwhelming Za Koa & Control:
» Trained Hand to Hand Combatant:
» Flexible/Agile:
The Dagi Tvaca
» Dāgī Tvacā Name: Khopade Klevar (आत्मा फसल) is the name given to their Dagi Tvaca, meaning skull cleaver in Hindi. Due to the nature of this ability, and how his multiple identities function, each one is given a sub-name attached to Kopade Klevar.
» Dāgī Tvacā Sealed Appearance: Seeing as how he has three possible identities, his Dagi Tvaca also warps and changes based on which state he is currently assuming. The intricacies of these changes, and sub-names will be listed below.
- Shaan: Shaan's Dagi Tvaca is named Apanaya Taakat (अपनाया ताकत), meaning adopted strength. Rather obvious during it's sealed state, Shaan sports a demonic entwined right arm. Visibly throughout it, red glowing pulsations can be seen emanating, a thick armor covering portions of the arm and across his chest. This is Shaan's sealed tainted skin, much more obvious than his counter parts - signalling back to his demonic heritage. When activating the Dagi Tvaca, Shaan's arm begins to glow and fill with Za Koa. Drawing Za Koa from his surroundings, the very ground will begin to break up and float around his body. By the time it is activated, a wave of za koa and destroyed earth, surroundings and injured bystanders will be left in it's wake.
- Rahu: Rahu's tainted skin takes on the sub-name of Vreth (व्रेथ, Wraith). As one might imagine, his Dagi Tvaca is right before their eyes - just concealed as a simple ghostly complexion. In it's sealed state, the Dagi Tvaca covers his body from head to toe and gives him a sickly, pale - almost dangerously white appearance. Due to the amount of Za Koa within his body, this gives him a natural glow of white energy, not enough to be a source of light in the dark, but enough to be noticeable. When this is activated, Rahu's white skin seemingly melts away, and for a moment reveals a black vessel underneath - the direct opposite colouring of his sealed state. After a moment, the white skin will be nothing but a pool of liquid and seep into the Earth below his feet, ripping up whatever he is stood atop of, causing sizeable earthquakes throughout. By the time the tainted skin is fully activated, he will not have changed drastically - but the opponent will know by pressure alone.
- Khara: For Khara, his tainted skin takes on the name Bhrasht Mukhauta (भ्रष्ट मुखौटा, Corrupted Mask). As one might imagine by the name, Khara's sealed Dagi Tvaca is the giant horn-like head that is presented so terrifyingly as his face. Though this is not a mask at all, by the time his dagi tvaca is active, it is torn off like one. When he activates the tainted skin, he tears his own face off as if it was a mask - clawing it away and ripping the flesh straight off. The horns and demonic face are tossed aside as a burst of crimson Za Koa is let off in his general location, forcing his body to curl up for a moment. In a wild explosion, the deep crimson Za Koa is dispersed around him - shattering even concrete should it be close enough.
» Dāgī Tvacā Released Appearance:
» Dāgī Tvacā Powers:
Unique Powers of Shaan
शान
Unique Powers of Rahu
राहु
राहु
PASSIVE TRAITS
» Presence Concealment: Though his body is filled with active Za Koa, Rahu has mastered the passive art of concealing his naturally high Za Koa by utilizing his tainted skin. As his sealed tainted skin covers his entire body, as a byproduct, he has been able to mask large portions of his energy signature almost down to nothing - making him a perfect for an assassination or stealth in general. Other than straight stealth, this near perfect concealment of his power can be somewhat misleading to opponents, making him think his pool of energy is rather shallow and they can fight him easily. Depending on the opponents skills and moves, they will quickly find out this is not the case. When he activates the dagi tvaca, that pressure is release onto his surroundings as the layer of concealment is torn away.
» Wraith Physiology: Rahu is very agile and tricky with his assaults, adding atop the properties of a wraith makes him a formidable foe. This means that, passively, his body is semi-incorporeal - any wound, bruise or sever caused to his body will be instantly healed upon receiving said damage. This does not negate the pain, nor the amount of toll it takes on his body, but rather leaves zero trace that any attack had been made against him at all. Removal of limbs are not exempt from this, should he be separated from his arms or other limbs, he is no stranger to reattaching his ghostly figure as if nothing happened. Not even a scar will remain in it's place, negating all possibilities of opening a wound and ripping his body. As mentioned this does not remove the pain and toll upon his body, nor does it remove such things as poisons by naturally filtering through his body. This could be considered regeneration in a way - a ghostly white and blue za koa gathering and reforming the limb.
» Force of Will: Though he doesn't have a natural pain suppressant, his sheer force of will is a lot of the driving force behind his combat. Though he would prefer not to have any limbs severed, avoiding such possible pain and drain upon his body, he has shown to push through removal of arms and legs purely because his goal has not been met. Though it is not easy, he has shown this force of will to even break through a number of mental based assaults - acting as stubborn as a brick wall. To truly break his mentality, it would take a lot of concentration and dedication to keeping him out of a fight.
» Spiritual Harvest: Unlike Shaan or Khara, he gains a passive ability alongside his Hell Beast's natural Za Koa conversion. Every time Rahu uses his scythe to reap the life of an enemy - he takes on the memories and emotions of said individual. This is done by Rahu using his Hell Beast (the scythe) to take the life of a person - and as it does, latches onto the remnants of their spiritual essence and converts it directly to Za Koa, but when Rahu is the identity, also adopts their fading memories and stores them as if they were his own. This allows for some interesting interrogation tactics, but rather than torture, simply killing the person who has information and reliving the memories as they come to him. Though this only works should the scythe absorb spiritual energy and convert to Za Koa. If the person is not bound by any type of spiritual energy, he cannot consume the memories and emotions. The same is to be said if the energy is redirected and taken before the scythe has literally eaten their energy.

THE PARASITIC HELL BEAST
Ketu Vespara
केतु
केतु
» Name: Ketu Vespara (केतु) is the name of Shaan, Rahu and Khara's Hell Beast. Being much older than the Rakshasa demon himself, Ketu is often referred to as "master" and "the one in control" by the Rakshasa himself. Ketu's name is taken from Hindu origins, being the name of a demon whose body was severed from their head and united with the severed head of Rahu. Due to the significance of names, Ketu had changed her name after hundreds of thousands of years when becoming partners with a Rakshasa, matching Rahu with a symbolic name associated with religion. Vespara is also used as her adopted surname, not being directly related to the bloodline, but through name alone.
» Gender: Officially, there is no gender assigned to Ketu. Due to her main appearance being that of a scythe, she will be referred to with female pronouns based on her humanoid form.
» Alias': The Parasitic Hell Beast, Death Harvester
» Age: 125,000 years old
» Species: Hell Beast
» Affiliation/Residence: Officially, her "home" is located within the confides of a massive scythe which is wielded by Shaan, Rahu and Khara. As previously mentioned, Ketu is a parasitic style Hell Beast - it latches onto the Host Rakshasa and begins to feed into their personality, controlling which identities they bring forth and even overtaking the body themselves. Her home is wherever her wielder is, be it the world of the living or the deepest pits of Hell. For this reason she doesn't exactly have a "home", nor does she entirely wish to find someone. Home is where she has control of her surroundings, and in the hands of this Rakshasa, she is allowed extreme amounts of control.
The Parasitic Control
As previously mentioned, Ketu acts similar to how a parasite might attach to a host. With a strong sense of control and influence over her Rakshasa, she is capable of controlling the very identity he has assumed and splitting it into segments. Through her control alone, Ketu was able to take segments of the Rakshasa and split them into separate persona. Taking the humanity of him and crafting the persona of Shaan, taking the mysticism and unyielding hunger for justice and carving Rahu, and summoning the pure demonic forces within him and bringing forward Khara. As mentioned, free will remains with the Rakshasa. Technically he remains the one in control, his actions and thoughts are his own and whatever choices he makes, he lives with the consequences.
As a parasite might use a host to live and breathe, Ketu acts in a similar way at times. Under the veil of a scythe wielded as a weapon, Ketu is capable of infecting the body directly and bringing forward her humanoid form in the shape of a woman clad in black. In a way, his own Hell Beast acts as a fourth persona that can force herself to exist through his body - moving her consciousness and body directly from the scythe into that of a woman. Should the Rakshasa die, or lose control of his own body, it is likely she would either perish herself or find a new host - if but temporarily. Unlike most parasites, Ketu is capable of living in a dormant state which can function for long periods of time without a host - surviving on the bare minimum. Should someone stumble across her dormant scythe, or coma-like female body, she could easily latch herself on and make this person, should they be strong enough, a host that can house her. Due to the nature of her powers, she would require the host to be of demon origin or influence.
Written Appearance
Depending on which identity is assumed, Ketu can take one of three appearances. In the most ghostly white form, Rahu, she will take the form of a white, black and blue scythe with a ball of blue Za Koa glowing at the shaft end of the blade - similar in shape and colour to Rahu's own eyes, only much larger. While in his most human form, known as Shaan, his scythe is a mixture of grey and red, a mixture of metal with a demonic looking essence with a partially opened red eye in the same spot. When in his most demonic form, Khara, the scythe is a pure glowing red overflowing with Za Koa, a widened red eye gazing into the surroundings. Ketu can speak, influence his identity and even speak telepathically to the Rakshasa directly.

PERSONALITY
» God Complex: One of her most proficient traits is her inability to see herself on the level as others. This isn't to says she thinks herself weaker or less than other people, it's actually rather the opposite, literally propping herself up as if she was a Goddess and all should worship her. Though she would never admit to it, this personality trait is one of her most defining - she will speak down to others in a cutesy voice and condescend everyone, even her own Rakshasa. Having lived for so many years, it allowed her to exist and think as if she was "one of the immortals", incapable of dying as a parasite who just used their hosts. Upon connecting with her Rakshasa, visions of this god complex began to waver, as she was now permanently stuck with a host. This was not a bad thing in her eyes, but rather a chance. To make a proper life without having to change host.
» Master of Will: Ketu's will is steel, it is incredibly hard to make her falter or even scare in the face of adversity.

UNIQUE POWERS
NATURAL TRAITS AND PASSIVES
» Za Koa Harvest: One of Ketu's natural traits while she is in scythe form is her literal ability to eat and store different kinds of energies by converting them to Za Koa. If one of the identities were to use Ketu to reap the life of a foe, she is capable of latching onto the residue of their spiritual energy - taking in certain amounts based on tier. The eye on the scythe seemingly turns into an amass of teeth and extends outwards like a projection and quite literally consumes many different types of spiritual energy, by the time they enter her body, are broken down and digested into Za Koa for her body. This allows healing of wounds to her scythe form, human form or even the Rakshasa himself. This is highly dependent on tier, but the higher in tier the less percentage due to sheer volume. At tiers below them, Ketu can consume up to 30% of their left over spiritual energy at moment of death. At tiers matching or above hers, only 10% is consumable.
» Alpha: Meaning "beginnings", Ketu sports a giant tattoo across her upper chest dubbed "mark of the beginning", or Alpha for short. As mentioned, the base of the tattoo represents the 'soul' or heart, in this case being her own. As a passive trait, she is always considered "at her beginning". As Alpha marks the beginning, she is physically incapable of aging by conventional means. Any sort of effect that would age her body, such as decay effects, would prove ineffective. On both her scythe and human form this is present, meaning that she is incapable of being decayed in almost any form. As decay is a form of time manipulation, it would take some discernible effort and focus to find a way for her to decay - literally splitting her cells and body apart on a molecular basis being one of the only ways. She is "the beginning", and so shall her physical form remain the same should it attempt to be altered. This also means she cannot physically change in appearance by scars and similar appearance effecting conditions.
» Timeline: Alpha Much like how she is constantly forced to live at the beginning of her timeline, the world around her also interacts in a similar way. This is to say that everything she meets, or sees, for the first time is also considered "at the alpha of it's life". What does this mean? Well for starters, it's a way for her to fit the theme of control and manipulate the environment back into it's beginning stage. Scattered throughout her vision are a plethora of different threads and "strings", streaming out from her hands and unto objects in her surroundings. This can be millions or billions of translucent strings only visible by her, yet is usually filtered "off" or simply to objects around the size of a car or bigger. From her finger tips, and with enough concentration and energy consumption, she is capable of warping chemical and spiritual make ups of different objects and returning them to the state in which she found them the FIRST time. This means that should a window shatter, or a car be destroyed, she is capable of literally tugging that thread to reverse certain objects back to their alpha stage.
Although this is highly situational and provides little room for attacks in some instances, it can prove useful in repairing broken locations to a time prior. The limitations are very drastic though, not only does energy consumption become an issue on larger and more complicated objects, but she is quite literally warping personal time of an object to restore it. This means that she could sometimes have undesired effects, restoring a bomb to pre-explosion to simply allow it to go off again for example. Ketu considers this less of a time ability and more of a focus on the control aspect, that the world is a puppet drawn to her strings and she pulls them for a desired effect. As of right now this has proven completely unusable on living individuals, but on small personal levels, she has proven to warp her own personal time due to her being the source. She is also not immune to the reversal of timelines, meaning she could accidentally pull an object's string to impale herself if she was not in the right location.
Though she may return a bomb to it's alpha by 'collecting' all the individual string it broke into, it does not undo the damage already done to a location. While it is possible to control the entire environment into a previous state, it would take an intensely high amount of energy, control and focus, also requiring her to experience it before hand.
