Endless Sands make a pretty good training area.. [Private]

Ulquiorra Cifer

Ulquiorra sighed, staring at the woman. A cero, huh? And sand? She really was trying.... Pathetic.

He pointed his sword directly at the spike of sand that was coming at him, it was time to show this woman how useless her attempts at fighting him were. He didn't even understand how someone could stand up to an obvious superior in strength, expect to emerge victorious, and strain feebly to do so. It happened four-hundred years ago with Ichigo Kurosaki, although Ulquiorra had underestimated that human. He had not crushed Ichigo Kurosaki when he had the chance, and he had made a logical error in not carrying out his orders. He would not make that mistake again.

Slowly, he spoke the words that all the former Espada would have recognized, or anyone old enough to know his story. Even younger arrancar with old friends would have known, but most of them know it only in infamy as a sign of Ulquiorra's seriousness about a fight.

"Enclose, Murcielago."



His sword unleashed a black burst of spiritual energy that fell around Ulquiorra as green rain. When the rain, and the energy, both fade, Ulquiorra has become bat-like in appearance. Him gaining large black bat wings on his back, his hair becoming longer and wilder, and the remains of his Hollow mask centering atop his head, with two large horns extending outward to the sides towards the front. The lines on his face become black, broader and more triangular and his fingernails lengthen. His Arrancar attire becomes more form fitting and closed at the top, becoming more like a robe towards the bottom.

He stared blankly at the woman, the full force of his released spiritual pressure exploding out from him. He reached out and grabbed the spike of sand, utterly crushing it in his hand. The metal-like substance being now completely obliterated. He flexed his right hand open, a green lance of energy forming in his open hand. He pulled his arm back and threw the lance directly at the woman as she charged her cero. The lance sped towards her lightning fast. He glared at her. He was going to end this, one way, or another.

Gryphon clentched her teeth together as she saw what was happening, she let out a quick: "Arg" before widening her stance a little more, to gain a bit more stability. She felt his burst of spiritual pressure and that made her give a small growl come from the back of her throat. He then opened his hand to reveal some green light, by this time her cero was charged and ready to be fiered. Once he shot his green lazeer thing, she released her Cero blast. As soon as her Cero left her she submerged herself into the sand, yes she did indeed go under, in a way to protect herself from the bast; she was about fifteen feet under. She used the sand to transport her about twenty feet to the left of where the blast was, she resurfaced, the sand shifting away to reveal her; she was standing up straight as she ariesed.

Gryphon began charging another cero, as she ws she leaped up into the air just about three meteres higher than her opponent. She pointed her blast at him as she hovered a bit, and fired it at him (she was just to the left of him). After this blast, she used the sand again to keep her afloat in the sky (via sand pillar/tornado.

Her hand shifted gracefully to the side and then upwards a bit as she called on more sand; if the cero she just released were to hit, she would attempt a few more earth attacks such as the one she just used and if that were not to do anything, she would draw her sword and go to the next level.

Ulquiorra saw the cero coming at him and the woman submerge herself in the dirt. Did she believe she could be saved? Did she have hope? Such nonsense. The area in front of Ulquiorra was darkened by the moving of his right wing. The large wing flapping out to its full length before the cero hit it, effectively redirecting the cero far out into the deserts of Hueco Mundo.

Ulquiorra took a step forwards as the woman approached him from below. He was not going to run, there was no need to. He was going to finish this as soon as he possibly could. She charged another cero and Ulquiorra sighed. Had she not realized how utterly pathetic that attempt was? She fired and the cero simply didn't hit Ulquiorra. His reiatsu created a sort of barrier around him that sent the cero around him, not into him. He extended his hand forward and swung it to the side, effectively dissipating the rest of the energy. Ulquiorra saw several earthen attacks coming at him and simply formed another lance, cutting through the attacks with ease. He looked the woman in the eye. "Do you feel it, woman? Do you feel despair? Hopelessness?" He regarded her coldly, "Are you afraid of me, woman?"

Gryphon clentched her fists a bit, he was hadrdly giving any effort an dhere she was, waisting away her energy trying to put a scratch on him. This was truning into a desastor, for her anyways. She heard him ask if she was feeling hopeless now, and if she was afraid of him. To be honest, Gryphon was just feeling frustrated right now, this spar just proved that she needed more training, and that she needed someone to train under.
"Tch"
Was all she said in reply to his 'questions'. She looked over her situation, he was much, much stronger than her, that was already a disadvantage going into this spar. He was airbound...another disadvantage to her; seeing that she's earth bound. What could she do now to thurn this around to her favor? He seemed like he was already set in finishing this off right now. She wasnt ready for it to be over, not just yet. She wanted to get one honest blow in that would at least shake him up a bit. Going in with her sword might not be a good idea, hell, she was almost sure it was a bad idea. Gryphon looked to the sand and then back up at him. Gryphon did her generic hand motions as she made more sand arise to about their level. She seperated the sand inoto coloumns and made them go horizontally; there were about five coloumns. Gryphons hands were extended out fully, with her fingers seperated and extended. Her breathing was steady and her face as emotionless as her opponents. Gryphon then curled her fingers into a tight fist and the sand that was there hardened and turned into metal, you could say they took the form of spears, each of them about five feet in length and two feet in diameter. She then pushed them towards him, by now it was obvious that she wasnt going to go down without a fight; in the back of her mind she had hoped that he remembered that this was just a spar, and not a death match.

As she sent them Hryphon hardened the sand beheath her feet, that was keeping her afloar and pushed off so that she was above him, about ten meters above. The sand that she left had turned back into sand and was now following her, incase she were to fall or soemting. Though the last couple of cero's didnt work...she would try it again; she charged another one, if he were to dispose of her metal 'spears' she would fire it right after he had. And then sonido a bit away.

Ulquiorra calmly disregarded the fact that his opponent was attacking him. He was lost in thought. She didn't answer, so.. she didn't fear him? What nonsense.. Ulquiorra didn't understand it. Did she simply lack fear? Was it out of a sense of duty? Did she believe herself stronger? He glared at the woman. "I see. So you do not fear me." He closed his eyes, "Such foolishness. "

Ulquiorra sonidoed up high, watching as all the attacks the woman had sent at him approached. The spears of metal, and the cero. He sighed. "You, woman." He said loudly, "Your efforts.. are feeble and pathetic."

Suddenly, Ulquiorra's spiritual pressure ripped through the air around him. The clothing of his released form ripping away from his body and his cold glare directed at Gryphon as the black mass engulfed him. Green clouds of what appeared to be smoke spilled over the ground in all directions, and the very air seemed to resonate with the denseness of Ulquiorra's released spiritual pressure disappearing. The black mass covered Ulquiorra, hiding him from view, for what could have seemed like an eternity. Finally, the blackness disappeared. Revealing a form that Ulquiorra had only once before used in combat. While he had retained his black wings, his long white coat is now gone, revealing a more defined musculature with his chest bare and Hollow hole dripping black, blood-like liquid. His waist has become covered in something similar to black fur, which also covers his arms and legs. His fingers have grown claw-like extensions and his feet have become like talons. The irises of his eyes have turned yellow while the sclera has become green. The tear-like marks under his eyes have increased in size and turned black. Ulquiorra's mask remains have reformed into two long horns, and the #4 Espada tattoo is no longer visible on his chest. Along with this comes a long and thin tail, with what appears to be a tuft of black fur on the end.

Ulquiorra took a step forward into the air, "Resurrection, Segunda Etapa." he said softly, his spiritual pressure smashing down on the area for miles, utterly destroying the metal spears as he let the cero dissipate around him. "Now, woman, you will know." He glared at Gryphon, "How True Despair feels." He said before immediately throwing himself forward, using his spiritual energy to kick off in Gryphon's direction, his wings guiding him. He flew directly towards Gryphon, aiming his clawed hand for the woman's face before sonidoing with blinding speed to the left of the woman, keeping his hand's momentum towards the side of the woman's head. An old strategy from his battle with Ichigo Kurosaki. If it worked, he would have grabbed Gryphon's head and pulled her, throwing her into the desert as Ulquiorra flew into the air and reassessed his strategy. If Gryphon dodged, Ulquiorra would simply sonido high into the air to avoid any counter-attack for now.

He changed, Gryphon could only look on as he did, wondering just how much longer she'd be able to last in this spar...He dismissed her attacks with ease and then was hurling towards her with increadable speed. Gryphons eyes grew wide for a moment, there was little to no time to react, he was going to grab her head, she could see that much. She had to think on her feet, or rather act without thinking right now, just let instinct take over so she could escape from this asult. But she was too late, she didnt act quick enough, she probably couldnt have anyways. He got to her, his claw like hand grabed her head and then flung her to the ground. "Gah!"
Gryphon crash landed onto the desert, she was a bit shaken, she did not deny this. She layed there for a little bit, trying to regain her state of mind, hopeing that he wouldnt deliver anothe asult while she did. Gryphn clentched her fist a bit and slowly started to get up, her head was handing a bit, letting her pink hair dangle down. She let out a few slight groans as she got to her feet, she was really getting tiered of being thrown around, this however, somewhat motivated her that much more. Stubborn? Probably.
Gryphon redrew her shiki, holding its hilt with both hands as she gazed up at Ulquiorra. Her spirituall pressure then burst from her, and sand began to cover up her exposed flesh before hadening into armor:

Ulquiorra watched, victory in his cold, emotionless eyes as the woman struggled to get off of the ground. He looked on, ready for a counter-attack, when he saw the armor form. What.. what was that? He questioned in his mind, Was that.. made of the sand? Or was it like the spear? Hardened into metal?

He'd soon find out. When she reached him, she had used the sword to slice at his chest. He had stepped back, but the sword has still hit him. Although only barely, as the sword glanced off his hierro. He saw the second attack coming from above and raised a long-fingered hand to block it. Ulquiorra extended his hand towards the sword, the metal hitting his palm as he blocked it. The metal was easily stopped by his hierro, his hand holding the sword there as the kick flew towards his head, he raised his other hand, easily blocking the kick with his palm. He lowered the hand he had used to block the sword, pointing his index finger at Gryphon and charging a ball of black energy with a distinct green outline on the end of it. His hand still closed around her foot from blocking her kick, he positioned his other hand, with the ball of energy still charging, directly in front of Gryphon's face. He looked at her, cold and merciless, "Cero Oscuras." The dark, impossibly big black cero rocketed out towards Gryphon point blank, and Ulquiorra released her foot. Awaiting to see her fate

Her efforts had failed, he blocked her attacks with ease and then delivered a blow of his own...Point black right smack dab in her face. All this happened in such a blur, within a few seconds Gryphon had been blased into the ground, sprouting up a tower of sand as she made contact with the desert ground. The sand took a few moments to settle down back into its rightful place revealing a beaten Gryphon. She layed there with her back against the sand, her eyes looked a bit dazed and confused for a second as to what had jsut happened. It took her a moment to process the previous events that just took place and soon peiced them together.

She was beaten, she wasnt ashamed to be, but there was a tug of dissapointment/ annoyance because of this. She closed her eyes for a moment and slowly sat up a bit. She let out a few gasps and a couple groans as she struggled to get sit up and then to a kneeling down state. Gryphon realised that she had a long way to go from being tryely strong, she wondered...It was a long shot but who knows...he might just agree and take pity on her 'pathetic attemps'. Gryphon bowed her head low extending her hand jsut slightly above her head onto the sand towards Ulq before rising again slowly to look up at him. All the while, she remained as emotionless as he.

"Ulquiorra-Sama"

She began looking up at him, she stayed still, sitting on her legs/kneeling on the sand with her hands placed on her lap almost as if being obideant.

"Ulquiorra-Sama...I ask you, please train me. Take me as your student. I will obey you and serve you, train me..."

After she finished, she bowed her head again, awaiting to hear an answer or eel another blow...or something

Ulquiorra saw his attack connect and watched the woman fly towards the ground. He took a simple step forward, his face never changing as he ran the different scenarios of what could happen through his head. Would she retaliate? Or was it possible that she would shunpo close to him and try for another attack with the sword? Either way, he was ready. He sonidoed down quite a ways, standing only about two feet off the ground now. He had to be at least part way off the ground, in case the woman had a secret trick of the earth to bind his feet. Not like it mattered, breaking out of that in Segunda would be child's play.

He predicted every possible outcome, down to the last maneuver.. except that.

"Ulquiorra-Sama"

He stopped, staring at her curiously as she spoke.

"Ulquiorra-Sama...I ask you, please train me. Take me as your student. I will obey you and serve you, train me..."

Ulquiorra tsk'd, taking a step forward and looking directly at the woman as his segunda slowly faded away, his original appearance returning to him. His outfit returning, the number on his chest renewing, his hair shortening, the helmet coming back, his wings disappearing, and his hands and feet becoming normal and pale once more. He kneeled, looking at Gryphon. "You have earned my respect for fighting against, what I'm sure to you seemed like impossible odds." He stood back up, slipping his hands casually in his pockets, the familiar feeling of the fabric renewing Ulquiorra's senses. "I will train you, in fact I will train you to the point where you are in a position to possibly even surpass me." He slipped his left hand up, pointing his finger to the sky in a gesture of making a point. "You, though, must promise me something." He closed his eyes, thinking for a moment before opening them again and speaking. "You must be loyal to my cause. You must be a spy within the espada for me and my kind, and you must transfer all you learn about their dealings to me. In payment for this, I will train you to the very brink of your power." He slipped his hand back in his pocket, leaning back slightly and turning to the woman, "Do we have a deal?"

As she waited to hear him answer or feel another strike, she couldnt help but wonder what was going though his mind at this very moment. If he did agree to train her, that would be wonderful, if he didnt then she would have to seek out another teacher. Gryphons head stayed down, bowing until she heard him speak again.

"You have earned my respect for fighting against, what I'm sure to you seemed like impossible odds."

She raised back up and looked at him as he spoke, her expression remained stone cold and her neon green eyes fixed on her new sensei. He had agreed to train her, a part of her felt a bit releaved that he agreed to it and the other part was dreading the hard work that layed ahead of her...but that was the price to become stronger, hard work...or so she thought, there was another price she would have to pay.

"You, though, must promise me something."

"Hum?"
She waited to hear what he had to say in anticipation, she didnt bother going though the possibilites because he was going to explain further now.

"You must be loyal to my cause. You must be a spy within the espada for me and my kind, and you must transfer all you learn about their dealings to me. In payment for this, I will train you to the very brink of your power."

Gryphon closed her eyes as he finished what he was saying, letting it sink in a bit, thinking over the price she had to pay. Then she realised, it wasnt really a price to pay, she really didnt care much for the Espada, heck she didnt feel no real loyalty to them. So his request was a no brainer.

"Do we have a deal?"
He said finally.

Gryphon nodded, reopening her eyes and verbaly replying to his deal. "Yes, we do. I will be loyal and I will serve as your spy, Ulquiorra-Sama"

After that she slowly stood up and bowed her head again in respect to her Sensei. Then a few thoughts crossed her mind, she thought she might as well get them out of the way before anything else.

"How may I contact you, Sensei, do you have any where and date in particular as to where to meet you?"
