In that cheery tone, it seemed as if the hostility from the male was as fickle as anything else. Granted, that didn't do anything to stop his assaults. Within moments there were four more blades shot from behind him, launched at mach one speed and left to pierce themselves into Elena's legs and arms. It was a rather odd state of affairs since the male could have killed her then and there with all the tricks up his sleeve, but he seemed more intent on playing games than getting down to the business of slitting someone's throat.

"I don't expect anything more grandiose; I just want something that gives you a reason to live."

And that much was true. As his crimson eyes kept their focus on Elena, he was happy to see her progressing and beginning to find some sort of reason to cling to existence. As, if she didn't try to find one, that would have only irritated him further. So, to be the catalyst to that personal evolution, he would be the medium in which to light a fire under her ass to get better, stronger, smarter, faster and overall become a more refined being as a result of being forced to change due to the threat that Adam himself posed.

"That's all I really need from you. If you really hate me that much, work to evolve yourself to the point of being able to take me head on. If you can't do that, then I won't kill you, but I'm sure someone else will."

Seeming satisfied with his results, the male slipped his knife into his pocket, jumped down from the light post and walked over to Elena. With each step that the male took, the chi which was emitting from his body became lighter and lighter until he seemed as jovial as before. There was a huge grin plastered across his face and he wasted no time hugging Elena, kissing her cheek and going on to turn his back away from her as he made his way to an ally nearby to disappear into the abyss.

"That's all. Just munch on that, and the next time we meet, show me the results of that. Otherwise, I'm gonna continue to do as I please and destroy, kill and do whatever I need to pursue my goal. So let's keep playing this awesome game of cops and robbers!"

The game was set and Adam was hoping she'd take him up on this challenge. He was so excited that the boy even jumped up in the air and shouted a "yaa-hoo!" before trying to move out of sight. At least, if Elena didn't bother to stop him or anything. And, while that was a possibility that ran through his head, the little terrorist figured she was too shocked, confused and injured to really want to pursue him. If she did decide to pursue, well, he was more than ready for that....

...if not, then this was going to be the turning point to turn this woman into something more than an overgrown pair of tits with no drive to life!
