» Used For: Hell Cocoon is used for faster and instant communications within The Gotei United. The Hell Cocoon is a crimson butterfly that is infused within Gotei United operatives body. One can think of this as a network of Hell Butterflies that connect and synchronize their mind to a metaphysical network. The Shinigami in question can begin to dump important information, intel, messages or alerts within this network to let all other operatives within the Gotei United stay up to date on current affairs.

It should be noted that, to avoid spam, there is an internal division within the Research Barracks that filters through, monitors and observes messages and information that goes through this network. This is done by a combination of manpower and computerized mechanisms by machines. These developers are also known to observe the equipment to scan for any types of irregulates that may or may not occur to further dampen down on security.

Additionally, it is worth noting that shinigami have the ability to visualize this network in their minds and be able to choose when to read a message. As most messages can come through text or voice through pure telepathy and projection of different thoughts. They can also harmonize and sync with information through these Hell Cocoons; but it usually works with those who have a higher mental deduction.
