A Wolf, called to Office
Sun Apr 02, 2017 8:30 am
Called into the office of King Zap, and all official like as well. It was sorta worrying considering Mirja’s mind worked like strudel worked for armour, and that got her into a lot of trouble for things she had no idea where actually trouble-worthy. She had been given a precise time, and so spend two hours judging distances and gauging speeds so that she could make some Sky Tea – tea that used leaves cultivated several thousand meters in the air – and then brush her hair, her tail, and her ears, shower, put on her uniform, and then go outside. Then forget she was not wearing shoes, go back in, silently complain that she was cramming her feet into horribly restrictive constructs of a mind less sound than her own, and finally arrive where she was ordered to arrive, at precisely 14:30. People could wonder how Mirja planned to forget her shoes when it was an accident, but trying to understand her train of thought in any way, was how people ended up with friendly men in white coats and jackets that made them hug themselves.
While waiting, her mind went crazy over what could be the reason for being here, but her physical stature was perfect, albiet a bit stiff so that she didn’t accidentally punch someone that came into the room a bit too fast. She was currently incredibly on edge, and managed not to sweat because she hated sweating enough that her Territorial Tulpa made it a physical impossibility for her. The ramifications of this were not something that occurred to her, because right now she was too busy questioning and second-guessing everything she had done over the past month and then trying to put them against the gauge of Vastimian etiquette. So far she felt like a zoo keeper trying to stop a rampaging herd of elephants by asking them nicely to sit down.

ENTER THE DEPTHS

In the line of duty one could expect to encounter strife, to encounter situations which would test the mantle and resolve which was so thoroughly enforced throughout the Vastimian military. It was why that in the call of duty and glory that in circumstances one would see fit to reward this dedication, as not all records of service where free from blemishes. So as Mirja approached the office doors two men would be standing in front of it blocking her path clearly on orders from Hayden.
After some time the two men would hear something from their intercoms located in their eye, before stepping aside clearly ready to allow Mirja to pass through. If she followed through with that motion and opened she would see the room filled with four individuals one of being being Hayden standing in front of his desk clad in his full battle armor- which was essentially his shikai suppressed. The helmet which could not conceal the intense chocolate color'd eyes where focused so intently on Mirja, that the weight of the world could not compare from the intense aura radiating from the room at this moment.
Around him stood three other individuals clad in traditional Vastimian garb, which was basically the higher grade officer uniforms. It was clear that these men acted as some sort of honorary guard to Hayden but also would bare witness to this moment, it would be at this time all the information Mirja learned at basic training may begin to flood back to her. In this circumstance this was simply referred to as 'The Ceremony' in which either a promotion or reward was to be issued personally via the king himself.
"Approach and kneel."
The words would not escape Hayden's lips but the man closest to his side would say this, his hand resting on the saber which was attached to his belt. All three of the men in fact held their hands on their sabers. For Mirja at one point in her training she would have been told to approach within six steps, then to kneel and bow before their king. If she could follow these simple instructions, hopefully quietly. The man known as Desmond Hayden would gaze down st her.
"Do you, Mirja Eeola, swear to enforce the lawful orders of Desmond Erasmus d'al Valerius Cunaris ae Hayden, maintaining the integrity and realm security while also obeying the orders of those placed above you, your superiors?"
The male asking this was the same that asked her to kneel, the man voice was booming as the intensity of the room seemed to be able to but with a butter knife. This moment was crucial to the advancement of Mirja as a soldier of Vastime. Should she screw this up it would result in an expulsion from the room and most likely a stain which could not be recovered from. At any rate, the proper response should she remember would be something along the lines of 'I swear by my sacred honor' or something akin to that.
It this point Hayden's Zanpakatou would become unsheathed as a crackle of lightning was heard, emitting from his blade in a pulsating manner as it traveled across it. The tip to the blade resting at the point of her throat, unflinchingly waiting for her response. Only a few millimeters away from her throat was a weapon which pulsed with fierce elemental power, which could easily slice cities apart with the user. Hayden simply held the blade to her throat with his armed outstretched waiting for her answer.
This was simply the first part.
