Would you allow your main character to die?

Well this a is a hard one, yes i well allow my chars to die, since nothing last forever, but i like it when my chars go out in one last blaze of gorly

Hanako = No, due to attachment.
Tina = Yes.
Wesley = Yes.
Ada = Yes.
Unohana = Yes, but cannot due to Canon Status.
Kimiko Mori = Yes.
Baiseirei = Yes, but she is too sexually active to fucking die.

I would let Een die, and he is my only character on this site (And shall always be).
Of course, it would suck for him to die before I could get everything I wanted out of him, but, if someone wishes to curbstomp Een early, so be it.
I think death is just as important as live in RPing. As if your character dies too early, its full poetntial isn't realised. If it NEVER dies, then it would be a sell out. Just think about in terms of TV shows. Would you like for your character to be a SPONGEBOB? I would definitely not. Only a good season or two is needed before I pull the plug.

I'm with Frost on this one... if the death is really epic and a true blaze of glory, I'll salute to John as he walks into the light, and shed a manly tear watching my first - and so far, imo, best - character go down. It's part of roleplaying that not everyone can live forever. I clearly wouldn't allow my character to die for some stupid reason without anything 'good' behind it, though.

I'd let Sireshi die, but he'd have to die in a burning/freezing storm of his own overused power, and he'd have to take several cities with him >_>

If it was in a blaze of glory... and there was true purpose, THEN I'd let Dai die. Everyone else... Meh. XD
