Appearance:Sharp, blue eyes. Blonde hair that extends no further than the nape of her neck with bangs cut in such a way that they arch in-between her eyes. And porcelain skin that’s marked with the occasional scraps and bruises in various stages of healing as typical of children her ‘age’. With these features accounted for, Rin does, without a doubt, look more like Kazumi than she does Cirno - though one could debate that she has a combination of both her mother’s eyes.

She has inherited Cirno’s ability to make herself look older, but to a much lesser degree than her mother. Whereas her mother could go from a pint-sized child to a full grown adult, Eri can go from a pint-sized child to a slightly older looking child. When she does shift to her older form, which isn’t very often, one will notice changes to her height and hair alone. Originally standing at forty-five inches, Rin height only increases by seven inches. Her blonde hair also becomes a lot longer, her bangs messier and unruly all of which is barely contained in a ponytail.

Regardless of the form, Rin will always be spotted in a green jumpsuit with several minor variations. Her first jumpsuit is a short one with long sleeves and a high collar. It’s paired with a padded hat that looks ridiculously big on her head, knee high boots, and gloves. Her second one is a full-length jumpsuit with a high collar with fur trim. Ankle boots and gloves are paid with it.

Rin can be described as an incredibly inquisitive, yet naïve girl prone to jumping to conclusions, sometimes outrageous in nature, based upon the little evidence and world experience that she possesses. Problematic? Yes, as it inevitably leads to misunderstandings, an embarrassing situation, and Rin apologizing profusely. However, given that she’s only two months old, going on three months, her misconceptions are understandable, quickly cleared up, and she’s more than happy to learn from it. After all, she wants to gather as much knowledge as she possibly can about the world rather that be through books, personal experiences, word of mouth, or some other medium.

In addition to being both inquisitive and naïve, Rin is also a very energetic person who enjoys playing in the great outdoors - especially on snowy days. Typically, the blonde can be seen down in the village her home overlooks, accompanied by her dragon and, perhaps, members of her family. She is determined to make as many friends as she can and she cares very little about whom she makes friends with. After all, she is a friendly person in her own right and paired with childlike innocence, she doesn’t view anyone as dangerous. And, with her being a generally cheerful person, her bright and laidback attitude is usually enough to lure people in.

Despite her being a kind-hearted and polite child, this doesn’t mean that she is incapable of being mean or selfish nor rude or demanding. Sure, it isn’t out of malice as she doesn’t fully comprehend that some of her words and actions can cause people harm. That her lack of life experience can lead to her words being insensitive and actions that put folks at risk. And though she’s generally apologetic about the trouble she causes people, that doesn’t negate the harm.

It should be noted that Rin is easily frightened, the child jumping at loud noises and people suddenly appearing in front of her to name a few. However, she’s only scared for a brief moment, her mood changing quickly to one of amusement, temporary anger, and even delight. She will even head towards whatever or whoever had initially scared her with a grin on her face. Self-preservation is definitely something she lacks.

In other words, there is definitely room for growth on Rin’s part and how her personality will be influenced as she matures will be determined by the people she surrounds herself with.



Laughter fills the home of a recently, and happily, married couple. Children run up and down the halls, climbing on top of furniture, and dragging the many inhabitants of the house into games. Trailing behind them are two proud parents, though ensuring their children don’t seriously hurt themselves is a challenge, the smiles and giggles that they get from their brood of three fill their heart with joy. Whereas Kazumi grew up in a household that believed children are seen and not heard, the house she shares with her wife is filled with the noise typical of rowdy children.

It’s really a shock that Cirno and Kazumi must chase after their children so soon. After all, the triplets should still be little babies by human standards. They were born December 9th, 2416 on a snowy afternoon. However, they have aged rapidly and look more like elementary-aged children. Rin, the youngest and, unsurprisingly, the smallest among the children spends her days learning about the world, listening to the stories that detail her angelic mother’s heroic acts, persuading her mother (Kazumi) to sing her Russian lullabies, and playing with the local children.

Despite being aware that her parents wish for her and her siblings to have a normal childhood away from the battlefield and out of training, Rin still aspires to be a heroine of justice like Cirno. She’s content with waiting until her parents decide the time is right.



Koutei: is the baby ice dragon that Eri encountered on one snowy afternoon while playing hide-n-seek. Koutei is made of living ice with eyes of pale blue, translucent wings, and breath of cold. It isn’t big by a stretch of anyone’s imagination, the dragon small enough to comfortably rest upon Eri’s shoulder. It thrives in the cold, snowy climate that is Celestial’s Crest however, that doesn’t mean it will face adverse effects if found in a hotter climate such as that found in Star’s Peak. It is, however, kept out of direct sunlight as a precaution.

Koutei is currently an inexperienced baby dragon and so, it has not developed any special kind of power related to its element. However, like most other pets, it has the potential to become a mount and war companion, flying its rider into battle and even protecting her when the need arises. As it has bonded with Rin and views her as it’s rider, Koutei will only obey commands issued by her and anyone else she has authorized - her parents in this case.

As what may be expected of an ice dragon, Koutei is pretty chill about anything and everything with the exception of strangers attempting to touch it. Attempting to do so will result in it hissing as it recoils, if one persist, it will move to its rider’s other shoulder and Rin, for her part, will move away from the person irritating her dragon. Koutei doesn’t require much stimulation, content with viewing the world from its perch on Rin’s shoulder - her right one, specifically.
