Chapter I Continued Further
Once the plant had reached its tallest point. Once it had reached the point where no tree exceeded it in height, where no flower exceeded its luscious beauty, and where no aroma exceeded with profound and noticeable intent the perfume that its scent gave it out would it actually stop. Only then would the rose see its trek end, as it handed the vines of fate, and cultivated the seed of wonder that was to be born from its own beautiful and timely downfall. On a fateful night, in the darkness of its vicinity, the flower seemed to shed its petals one by one. By dawn all of the once vivid red petals laid rested on the ground, leaving a new refined look atop the organism. At its utmost surface, a girl seemed to sleep uninterrupted by the soothing melody of the wind coursing its way through the forest. In time, she too would be moved by the relaxing solitude around her.
It wasn’t a baby, but it didn’t look like an adult either. It was a girl likely somewhere around her teens or perhaps just about to be so. She possessed a beautifully red flowing hair that reached quite easily halfway down her back, not unlike the petals that once adorned the flower. Despite the light look of her smooth and soft skin, there seemed to be a uniquely designed outfit that was organic in nature. A form of lively green foliage covered her body from the breasts down in a very peculiar and particular manner. It looked as though leafs had been crafted to cover her bosom, her midsection, parts of her middle and lower back and even more feminine areas particular to beings of her gender. The same green could be seen in what resembled gloves that extended from her fingertips to just above elbow length, and boots that extended just upwards of knee length. Her legs and thighs seemed to be covered in a thin layer of organic light green that stuck to her in a comfortable fashion and in a manner that made it seem as though it was simply a natural second layer of skin. The only areas left untouched and unburdened by the beauty of her organic vestments were the photogenic fine features of her delicate visage, and the her shoulders and uppermost areas of her back.
From the first time she opened her eyes, it seemed as though the girl had been born to a world with which she was far and well acquainted with. She recognized the flowers and the trees, and every plant in sight. Some she knew by name, and some she simply knew by kind and properties, but she knew them all. It was almost as if she had been one of them all along, and the filtering life energy that seeped into her world simply kickstarted the anomaly that breathed life into her blossoming seed.
