Kampai! [Invite]

Unfortunately, the only sake shops in Seireitei were expensive. It drove the less wealthy Shinigami to take refuge in Rukongai for their sake needs. The evening was perfect, really. Clear black skies with a full moon to light the way when the lanterns were not shrouding it with false light. Crickets chirped, not that anyone could hear them...

The loud cheering from within the sake shop was deafening. Seika was seated at a small gambling table laughing as she revealed 'Han' once more. The men across from her groaned and handed over her winnings. It reminded Seika of being in the 78th District with her gambling hut.

Cho-Han was her favorite game, mostly because she was good at it. Grinning as she stood from the table, her cheeks reddened by the already consumed sake. "Naah, I'll let you keep what coin you've left in your pockets, eh?" Sitting down at her own table as the waitress set a bowl of beef and noodles in front of her.

"Ahhh." Rubbing her hands together before sampling a slice of beef with a bit of relish, "Perfect." Unlike even some of the Shinigami, Seika had an appetite. Her soul was constantly replenishing reiatsu and it left her with an almost constant sensation of hunger. She blamed the Wolf, of course.

The bowl was emptied quickly and Seika leaned back on one arm. Her other arm was occupied, her index finger looped in the handle of a sake bottle rested on her shoulder and upper bicep. Allowing her to turn her head and drink from it with only a slight lift of her arm.

a lackadaisical Renji could be seen, walking out of the sixth division. He sighed, as he stretched out, to read he area over. For him, it was another hard day of work. Looking out, into the relaxing night. He wondered, whether he should just go and rest. Or, something he wasn't usually seen doing, at least not much. It wasn't like he was being held back, with any restrictions, or any rules. Byakuya, was off into his own affairs and business. So why not enjoy himself?; So it was decided, he'd go and bribe, ichigo into going with him. He didn't wanna go by himself, for two obvious reasons. One, over drink and end up having a sleep fest, or even headache. Two, he might need someone to tell him, if something's a bad idea, or not. He sent a message out to Ichigo, via hell butterfly, then decided to go off, into the rukongai district. He definitely didn't have any plans to go anywhere fancy, so something small, and a place where he grew up, didn't seem bad, at all. Walking forward, he quickly made his way, and began to think of multiple, places he could go. Deciding, on the location. he decided to go to a sake shop, hopefully ichigo would follow suit. After, some time of walking, He finally found one, and began to walk in, looking the area over, for any thing that might seem out of place. He then decided to sit down, and grab a drink, he ordered it, and looked back to see if he had seen any familiar faces. besides, waiting for ichigo to come, after the "Special' message he sent.

Being a Captain was about as exiting as watching grass grow, but someone had to do it - and for today, a certain orange-haired one finished his work and stepped out of his office, stretching. His Haori had no sleeves, not unlike that of Kenpachi, and it still felt weird for him to even wear it - and the time it took him to get everyone in the division stop calling him Kurosaki-Taicho was something he didn't even want to think about.
"Another evening as always, it seems." Grabbing Zangetsu and snatching it onto his back, Ichigo left his office and stretched himself - when a Hell Butterfly stopped right infront of his face. From surprised, to slightly annoyed, to REALLY annoyed and finally to somewhat angry, his face shifted between phases, and it seemed like a thundercloud would appear above Kurosakis head at any moment. Instead, he quickly turned around and left the baracks of his division, heading straight to one of the gates of Seireitei. What Renji told him exactly should remain a mystery forever, but it for sure was a small blackmail. Otherwise, getting Ichigo into a drinking district was near impossible.

When Ichigo arrived, he had largely resigned to his fate. Before coming here, in the shadows of the gate of Seireitei, he quickly got rid of the Captain Haori, hiding it inside of his black Kimono now - seeing a Shinigami in the Rukongai was rare enough, he didn't need to draw the entire districts attention by showing up clearly visible as a captain.
When Kurosaki entered the Sake shop Renji told him about in the Hell Butterfly, he gave a quick signal to the bartender, before sitting down besides his friend and rival. Tomato and Strawberry now both looked over the other guests in the shop - gambling, shouts of annoyment and joy from those winning or losing, and another Shinigami gulping down a meal. After Ichigos signal, two large glasses full of sake crashed down infront of him and Renji.
"Yo." Was all that Ichigo said to greet Renji, as usual. He didn't even know that other Shinigami also visited places like this.

Seika was still leaned back as she watched the red haired Shinigami walk in. She recognized him immediately; who wouldn't? Watching him a moment before an orange haired Shinigami strode in after him and they sat together. She recognized them both.

Those strange yellow eyes fixated on them before they shifted to the man approaching her. The same man she'd won the money off of from Cho-Han. Noting the lightly drunken swagger in his steps and the keen interest from the table he came from, she sneered softly. Posturing.

"I want my money back, you cheated me. Damn Shini-" He never got to finish. Her foot connected with his gut and the force turned his angle wo when he wretched, it wasn't on her table. Sadly, it was Renji's shoulder the man grabbed in his flailing to steady himself and empty his stomach behind the red haired Shinigami.

Seika slowly stood from her table, sake bottle still over her right arm and her sword worn on her right. "Anyone else wanna accuse me of cheatin' 'em?" That cocky grin on her lips was wolfish as she watched the man's friends quickly attend their own business. "Didn't think so."

Sitting back down with a sigh as she took another drink and relaxed back on her arm again. "Damn cowards, wouldn't last a day in the 11th." Muttering to herself as she glanced to Renji and Ichigo before chuckling at Renji's sudden predicament.

"Oi...I think he got some in ya hair..."

Renji happily smiled, as Ichigo arrived. after he sent, his little "Message". Ichigo may have been tough, but once you used a few tricks on the kid, he was easy pickings. he waved, with a hearty expression. "Yo, Ichigo, glad ya came!" he said with a chuckle, right after. he was hoping the night, would be enjoyable for both of them, after all, that's what he came here for. Right when their drinks arrived, however, before he could even grab one, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Being Pulled Back, his eyes widened in horror, as the man had released, what he drunk, all over renji. Yuck!; alk about bad luck, already. He screamed in agony, as he kicked the guy off Slightly angry, and embarrassed as well. After all, who wouldn't laugh at such a sight?; he sighed, huffing a bit. He glared at Seika, a bit. "Thanks, i barely noticed..." he said with slight sarcasm, he looked around and asked the waitress for a few towels, to get this wiped off, before it started to wreak, and create a smell. Renji wasn't a super or strict guy on hygiene, But he didn't wanna smell like puke either.

The orange haired Shinigami was just reaching out for his drink... when Renji was transformed into a puking bag. Ichigo didn't know if he should laugh, shove that puking drunk away or try to get something for Renji to whipe himself clean with - in the end, it resulted into a mixture of all three, when he first helped Renji to get that drunk idiot away from him and then catching some towels thrown to him by the bartender and giving them to Renji just as the waitress arrived back with some more of them.
"Well, I guess now you're smelling like you're drunk before we even start." Ichigo sounded a bit mean, maybe, but well, he had been quite literally blackmailed into this. Not that he minded that much, but he would never ever admit that. Kurosaki was a male tsundere in some situations. His eyes shifted to the other Shinigami, with his usuall frown on the face.
"Seeems like you're having your fun here, at least. Being nearly - or completely - splattered in what some random guy drunk the whole evening once you go through the door is not that funny."

Seika only took a pipe from inside her shihakushou and lit it with a match. "If you don't think it's funny, Taichou, why are you laughing?" Well, snickering, but he had been doing it.

"There's a well out back." Said to Renji as she chews on the pipe absently, needing something to distract herself from the fact she was still hungry. "I didn't mean for kick him your way, if that's what ya thinkin." Taking a slow drink of her sake as she watched them carefully. "He called me a cheat, and I don't cheat. Not in a fight and not when I'm gambling." The gleam in those wolfish yellow eyes proved that she took both very, very seriously.

There was the slightest shifts of reiatsu from Seika. Her sword...Urufu, the Wolf, it was growling as it sized the pair up. -I don't know about the orange haired one, but we could do some damage with the red haired one. You've been keeping me locked up in here and I'm hungry.- Seika's eyes shifted down to the blade propped up against the table a moment.

"shut up" she muttered under her breath before taking another drink of her sake jug. "Either of you know how to play Cho-Han?" Grinning some at them.

Renji, glared up at ichigo, though it became more of a playful glare, after a bit. He was upset about it, but after a few minutes, of letting things sink in, didn't he come here for laughs and giggles?; Sure, he was embarrassed. Quite a bit, no less. However, he knew that as the girl was explaining, the situation, that nothing was meant to be purposely done. So, he nodded and looked over to Ichigo, landing a blow on his shoulder, nothing to start a fight, but more of a brotherly gesture. Sure, they might have argued here and there, still. However, Ichigo had became a great friend to Renji. Through all the times, they met each other. So, through the years, the two had a long standing rivalry, and when Ichigo joined within the ranks, of the shinigami. the two, really had time to enjoy each other's company, and be friend each other. If renji, needed someone to talk too, even if ichigo may have not seemed interested, he'd still listen to the red haired shinigami. While renji did the same. The two were starting to reach a brotherly level, and it was quite heart-warming, if anyone ever seen them recently.

Heck, Renji was just happy, Ichigo came along. So, getting up, he sighed. "i'll be back then" he said, quickly going outside. to wash himself off, momentarily. using some soap, to wash the smell of puke, and sake off of his skin. after a few minutes, he walked back in. Looking at Ichigo, then back at Seika. "Cho-han?" he asked curiously, as he looked at Ichigo, wondering if the boy knew anything about it, himself. It sounded foreign to renji. "Anyways, i'll introduce myself. I'm Renji Abarai, and this is Ichigo Kurosaki." he said, as he made a small smile, at Seika. After th
at, he also noticed, that she was wearing the shinigami garb, so she must've been an officer, so he asked her another question, to follow up, on the latter. "Are you from any division? if so, which one?" he asked curiously, trying to get to know the new female, a little bit more better. She seemed like good company, so far. A bit, tomboy-ish, but he was use to dealing with those types, by now.
