The past is a pain

Haru was currently walking towards Karakura Central on the outskirts. It was a nice pleasent day to travel to the city in the outskirts. He had been traveling for awhile just walking and resting every few hours cause he was in no rush to reach the city today but he would be there no matter what tommorow. He had a goal and he could not stall it for so long, even moving so slow for a day was not acceptlbe but he desereved a rest from his search.

For the past year Haru has been searching for his only friend that has gone missing. He currently only does this search to find out what has happened to him but he has had no result at the places he has searched. But he has a feeling that his lost friend is in the city or nowhere, possibly not even alive though he know that Zero can take care of himself. Also Haru's ziamachi spirit had been quiet for the whole day, which was odd but he didn't care cause he was happier that the spirit wasn't bothering him.

Haru continued to walk down a trail toward the city little by little he got closer and closer. It was like the day was set up to be a great one for him. But he knew that was to good to be true, everything good would only end with something bad so he wasn't to relaxed the entired day. It was quiet and peaceful what else could he need now. As a big cloud covered the sun and brought shade, he rested until the cloud pasted by.

Once again, it was another boring day in the wastes that were the outskirts of Karakura Central. Well, at least as boring as it could be with the constant threat of hollow attacks. Still, if you were strong enough, these random hollow attacks weren't really much to worry about; most of the hollows in this area were simple scavengers, waiting for some weak and unsuspecting prey to leave the safety of the city. Because of this, and the lack of any real human population, the outskirts were quite the desolate place; although this desolation was not always bad. For those who wanted to fight a couple hollows or merely get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the outskirts were a good place to hang out. Today, this was particularly true for one individual; currently taking a break from some hollow killing.

Sitting with his back against a moderately sized boulder, Ravana Ichiro had decided to take a break after having fought off a good sized group of hollows. Despite having just been in a fight, Ravana's appearance didn't allude to it at all. His green hoodie, shirt, and jeans were without even a simple scratch, and his shoes only had a bit of dust on them, mainly from walking around. Of course, at the moment, his hood was on his head, coming forward to almost cover his eyes as he leaned back against the rock; his Zanpakuto sitting across his lap. While it would appear that he was sleeping (and to be honest, he probably was at least trying to take a nap), Ravana still remained aware enough to sense if anything with a significant amount of reiatsu got too close. Of course, just as he was beginning to nod off, Ravana suddenly sensed a medium level reiatsu getting closer to his location. The odd part, however, was that it did not belong to a hollow.

Deciding that his little cat nap could wait, Ravana quickly got to his feet, holding his sheathed Zanpakuto in his left hand. While he wasn't really expecting a fight, it never hurt to be prepared; that, and he didn't feel like slipping the Zanpakuto under his belt. Doing a quick stretch, Ravana began walking towards the source of the reiatsu before using shunpo to get there quicker. Appearing a few yards away, Ravana quickly spotted the source, a male who appeared to be a few years younger than him (key word being appeared). While the guy appeared to be human, Ravana could tell that this wasn't the case, based on his reiatsu. Since he had already came this far, Ravana decided that he might as well make contact. "Oi, what are you doing wondering around out here?" he shouted as he walked up to the guy. While the same question could have been asked of Ravana, he was used to being one of the few who actually ventured out into the outskirts on a daily basis; killing hollows and trying to make the world just a little safer.

Haru sensed that someone was near him but didn't expect him to be so close to him which leads to two things. One his senses are off today which would be very bad,or two this person could move very fast. He sticked with two cause his senses were not at all off early in the day. Another that he was wondering why had he asked him why he was here,if it should anyone be asking that it should be him. But the person asked first so he might as well answer him.

"I'll just relaxing out here it's a nice day, no hallows have attack me today as well. Now I must asked you the same question now. What are you doing out here." He said.

"Whats going on while I was out." His ziamachi spirit said but only Haru could here this.

Now The day was almost ruined now that Great one was awake now but it wasn't all bad now he could fight back if this person or someone in the future tries to attack him out here. But he couldn't respond to great one without the person in front of him hearing and then he would think he was nuts. He was stuck now and he would have to add something into the next thing that he said so great one would know that he is talking to someone and that the person doesn't learn about Great one or think he's insane.

"Also my name is Haru what is yours?" he asked.

While he still didn't have much to go on about this new guy, Ravana did conclude that he wasn't going to be a threat; that, and he did seem to be a little odd. Still, since it didn't seem like there was going to be a fight, Ravana took a second to slide his sheathed Zanpakuto under his belt. With that done, he dusted off his hands and then smiled his signature friendly grin. "Well, I usually spend a lot of my days out here, killing off hollows and trying to make the world a safer place in general" he said, almost as if it were some corny monologue. As usual, Ravana was showing off his "heroic" side. While anyone who actually knew him would expect and then usually ignore Ravana when he was like this, this new guy probably didn't know what to expect. Still, Ravana was a friendly person, and it could be argued that his "heroic" desires are derived from this. Of course, these were all just some of Ravana's quirks.

"Oh, and the name's Ravana Ichiro, former Captain of Squad 3" he said, standing tall after stating his former rank within the Gotei 13. "Er, not that the title really means much anymore" he added with a slight laugh, scratching the back of his head. Despite being a Vizard and having resigned of his own free will from his position as Captain, Ravana still liked to call himself a former Captain; it made him feel like he had at least a little authority left. "Anyways, it looked almost as if you were out here looking for something, mainly since you were headed towards the city, not away from it" Ravana said, a hint of slyness in his eyes. Of course, only a few seconds after that little "accusation" Ravana let out a short burst of laughter, the friendly smile returning to his face. "Heh, or not, it's not like everything has to have a reason; besides, I spend enough time out here myself" he said, as if to discredit what he had said earlier. Still, if this Haru guy had any reactions to what he had said, Ravana would know he was hiding something. Although it may not seem like it at times, Ravana could be quite cunning and observant.

Haru thought to himself if this person has been here a lot and comes here almost everyday he would have meet most of the people who walk though here as well. Also he was apart of the Gotei 13 which means that he is a shinigami which should mean that he was good but his mentor always told him a person who was apart of the gotei 13 means that they were usually evil or did something really wrong while they were apart of them. So Haru started to back away a little bit.

"So a shinigami who left the Gotei 13 that interesting." Great one said.

"So you are a shinigami and left the Gotei 13 only thing I have to ask is why?" He said all of this while keeping a straight face his mouth was a staright line not frowning or smiling which it never really did.

"Your going to need some power if this goes bad cause he was a captain so I'll let you change gravity 3 times." Great one told him.

Haru never really knew much about shinigami or even meet one cause his mentor hate them. So he didn't know what to expect if it turned into a fight and he could tell this would be a tough one he might have to have more power from Great one. But hopefully it didn't and there was a peaceful answer to why he was no longer with them. But even then could he truly trust him. Maybe he thought.
