Background: Asch was born to the royal family of Germany. Growing up, he was taught how to act proper, and was strictly diciplined. He was going to inherit the throne, and there would be certain expectations of him. He was also expected to do exceptionally well in school. However, the pressure never bothered him. He felt if he didn't aim beyond what he could achieve, he wouldn't get anywere.

Over his lifetime, many achievements were made by humans, including extended lifespans. Humans also became spiritually aware, and powers awakened within them. Society grew much more complex, and humans soon began combating hollows themselves. He founded a human organization, created to combat hollows and preserve earth.

Personality: Asch is a very cold and impersonal man. This is a result of his upbringing, where he was not only groomed from birth to act like a proper noble, but was also treated very coldly by his father. Thus, he separates his internal emotions from his external appearance. He has a tremendous amount of pride and cares deeply for the soul society and the people around him. He is also an extremely talented cook. He's extremely short-tempered and hot-headed, and nearly always insists on doing things on his own. Despite his smart and calculating exterior, Asch has moments of incredible goofiness.

Powers: Asch has a zanpakuto, but it has no release forms. Instead, it has a few abilities.


Hyperressonance, Order 1: This move performs a sort of "echolocation" allowing the user to sense invisible, hidden, or fast enemies. His second technique can only be performed after the zanpakutou has already had a "taste" of a particular energy based technique. The sword then vibrates at the opposite frequency, effectively cancelling the attack.

Hyperressonance, Order 2: This technique is the most powerful move of Teikoku Yuuenkatsu. It causes a lullaby to occur, causing the opponent to become entranced and drop his guard. Then, without warning, a fusillade of bullets of condensed sound strike the opponent, each with a harsh, disorienting impact.

Mystic Art, Rending Saber: Asch tosses the enemy into the air with a flurry of light rays, then slams his sword into the ground, causing a glyph to appear beneath him and more energy to rise up and damage his opponent. This is his ultimate technique, and he has not used this in battle yet.
