THE QUINCY PRODIGY
Artist: N/A - Song: N/A
For at least month or so, Sofia had been having more issues than usual concentrating on his tasks. While it hadn’t gotten so bad to the point where it interfered in a dramatic level with her job or her training, it was at the very least, rather frustrating. Despite her best attempts to remain focused on the current projects within the Jagdarmee, her mind kept going back to the Quincy plight, and its more recent decisions and changes. From the looks of it, the time for upheaval was just beginning. While there was no concrete evidence, she just had a very firm hunch that even bigger changes were due to pass pretty soon. And, if her past hunches and observations were any indication, she was most likely right. The issue at hand however would be the nature of the changes, and the ideals the very individuals chosen to drive it through would carry along.
As it was, the Quincy prodigy already found herself at a divide. She found himself creating doubts within her mind in respect to the foundations on which she grounded her loyalty to her own organization. She was no traitor; quite far from it actually. With everything she had done up to that point, and the influence of her family in the past, one could even consider her an metaphorical martyr were she not still alive in a way. Sofia had dedicated her all to Soul Society. She had trained her own body and even helped her peers to increase the potential fighting ability of her division, and the Quincy as a whole. Through the labor of her mind, she had helped in creating and remodeling technology that continued to help the Quincy. She had been an instrumental driving force in the conflicts created by her kin, like the assault on Chicago. Unfortunately she was also a testament to what he saw as one of the many failures of the Quincy.
It was almost as if there was something strange within her, instigating her to think. There was some kind of force or agitation within her that encourage her to think, and in doing so continuously doubt the actions of her people. There was something within her continuously whispering into her ears that she could do better for herself and for most beings elsewhere, pursuing a path that though taboo and persecuted, would yield the most promising results despite its unorthodox nature. Regardless of the conflicting nature of her thoughts, the prodigy had chosen not to share her ideas or confide them with anyone. Due to the nature of her doubts, she could be doted as a traitor for even thinking like that. What's more, she could lose access to a lot of the data and the privileges she had at the moment. For the time being, she simply saw it best to deal with her imbalance of emotions on her own, and come to terms with something more concrete down the road, one way or another.
