For a moment, Otahu was elated that everything worked perfectly. For a moment, she allowed herself to think she could win. That moment was gone as her sword thrust...was simply ineffective against the Espada's skin. Her eyes wide as she stared at the tip of her sword pressed against his skin, unable to pierce it.
Her breath caught and her eyes went wide as she felt...coldness. The wound almost too deep to really hurt and instead left her with an icy chill in her stomach. When he shifted her, she merely looked up at him.
What did he mean? Was it over already? She looked down and saw his arm embedded to his elbow in her stomach. Panting as she tried to hold onto him, as if doing so would keep the inevitable from happening...but already weakness was stilling over her body.
She fell to the earth below them in a heap. Her chest only raising shallowly as it became difficult to breath. She could hear the sound of something, but couldn't make out the words at first. Music? She heard music clear as a bell and smiled slightly at the memory of first playing for Doragonkawa.
The dragon was raging within the inner world. Ripping up the forests and laying the entire world to waste. Only pausing when he saw the figure of his chosen Master laying on a bed of moss. Cradling her broken frame in his massive claws.
-Do you remember my words to you of strength, child? That there were two kinds of strength? You had strength of soul...I will now show you strength of being.-
Grimmjow may or may not hear the faded, echoing roar. Then he would feel it. The Once Espada would feel a chill in the air as some portion of his reiatsu seemed to be taken from him. Not enough to really effect him, but enough that he would notice.
Below, Otahu's breath was almost impossible to see. She felt the reiatsu of the Espada pulled around her like a blanket, cold and horrible. Destructive. As if every ounce of his being craved for nothing more or less. Her eyes closed and she did not breath in again.

A flash in the night...
...crimson tears on deathly wings.
"Cero"
The primal incantation, an unexpected flash of crimson waves descended upon the blue haired arrancar known only as Grimmjow Jeagerjaques. Massive as the blast was, it seemed most perfectly aimed away from the woman whom had found herself at the "mercy" of the sadistic Grimmjow. Canted in a way that angled itself most perfectly at the forty-fifth degree so as to aid in the prevention of escape from Grimmjow, the blast was indeed a formidable one, crashing against the ground and, should he not have made it from the blast, Grimmjow. The earth itself seemed to stress, cry and explode in a fountain of dust and debris, all aid enlisted to cover the approach of an unwanted guest who had found itself best to approach to aid an unexpecting shinigami. The flash of white haori and the numero 5 tattooed on the chisled chest as sonido announced the final arrival of a man whose own heart found itself seething with malcontent and sensations of rage.
Marcus, an arrancar of less that typical character, was announced in royal fashion with the aftermath of cero and sonido, explosions matched with thunderous booms as he appeared by the young shinigami who had found herself skewered in a most unceremoniously way and tossed aside like the trash she most certainly was not. A careful kneel at her side and reserved yet sympathetic pair of teal hues befell the shinigami, or rather, such was the case until the breathes were no longer drawn. Could it have been that the girl had faded into oblivion? It was, sadly possible, yet, such was not known as of yet and the time was not best to check. His mind raced and his anger welled within, a primal urge of rage and destruction, the funneled sensations of being what he was, hollow, sensations that had been channeled into his strict style of moral. Such were transgressions, that could not be forgiven, not so easily at all. Quietly the voice of his own whispered to the girl before him, a command as much as it was a wish.
"Do not fade shinigami...for I hear not a bell that tolls for you."
Slowly, he turned away from the girl, no zanpakuto at his side or in his hands, seemingly unarmed, his entire self pulsing with the reiatsu of that of a captain, his eyes aglow with an anger he had not felt for an age. Such things were not acceptable, such memories were not acceptable, visions of a kingdom his own, visions of that kingdom alight in fire and painted in blood, the blood of the helpless whose protection he had not secured as originally thought. Such had occurred once again, this bleeding shinigami testament to another failure to protect those without the power to do so themselves, regardless of race or desire. Another innocent had fallen prey to the despicable hungers and lustings for power and satisfaction of the monster that was Avarice. In reply, his hands set aglow once more, crimson cero energies alight and encompassing clenched fists, readied and brought to their full potential, their cataclysmic release reliant on the appearance of that blue haired demon they so desperately wished to rip apart. Rage filled his longs, it corrupted his tongue, and his eyes were as red as the blood shed around him, voice bellowing the words of a thousand years of hatred in not but a sentence.
"Show yourself, Grimmjow Jeagerjaques!"
Well, I think things have escalated. So, here's my intervention I mentioned to you both. ^_^

The air out tonight was thick n' hot with the spiritual pressure of two menacing Arrancar's standing right in the heart of Karakura City. The ill vibes emitting from the famous and very powerful former Espada, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, posed enough of a threat for The Leader Of The Yayjuu, Shadin Yuudeshi, to make his way out towards the scene at break neck speed all the way from his base that was located within the core of Downtown Karakura. "Oi', oi', oi'! Tonight there are gonna be fireworks!" He shouted with anticipation while blazing through the many neon lights, hover cars and ghastly looking punks that cluttered the streets of this futuristic city. "We got two Arrancar's looking for a swift, fast and hot beat down!" As he was closing in on the area where the showdown was about to occur, Shadin had many volts of electricity being released from every inch of his body due to the adrenaline pumping through his vains.
"ALL CILVIANS, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY! THERE ARE TWO ARRANCAR'S IN THE AREA! MOVE OUT!"
Shadin bellowed loudly with a mighty loud roar afterward in order to alert everyone in the area that a shitstorm was imminent. It seemed as each second grew closer and closer until the final collusion of the two felines, the inner Cheetah within Shadin grew rabid. "It's been quite sometime since I've had a decent fight." Echoed Shadin's voice across the area where Grimmjow and The Unnamed Arrancar had gathered. "And for two Arrancar's to simply walk into MY hometown, kill MY people and create this mess without saying so much as a howdy fuckin' doo to me? Ha! This will provide just the warm-up I need after I'm done wiping the floor with your mugs!" Then, above Grimmjow and The Unnamed Arrancar, stood Shadin upon one of the tallest buildings in the area.
"Hello there!" He shouted down towards the two Arrancar as he folded each of his arms while sporting a cocky grin across his lips. "My name is Shadin Yuudeshi!" Taking a quick glance at the lifeless body of an unknown Shinigami, Shadin frowned slightly before pointing down at Grimmjow. "And you two unlucky lads......"
"YOU TWO UNLUCKY LADS DUN GOOFED!"
So with that, a large explosion of reitsu was released from within Shadin's body strong burst of air pressure mixed together with plenty of electricity was scattered all across the vicinity in a dazzling display of power as a bright white aura emerged from his body with the shape of a cheetah head with yellow eyes could faintly be seen behind Shadin.
"HEAVEN OR HELL, LET'S ROCK!" Wasting no time afterward, Shadin leap from atop of the building he was once standing on to fly directly into the heat of battle as he closed his right eye and pointed his index finger on his right hand down towards the Two Arrancar. Not long after that, a burst of intense lightening was fired towards their direction in the hopes that it would create some type of contact that would hopefully create burns, scratches and some damage to the nervous system that would cause their movement to be delayed or slowed for one or two post. However, if this lightening strike did not hit it's intended target, it would disburse into a dozen smaller bolts of electricity. Six would go after Grimmjow and Six would go after the other Arrancar. If they were able to dodge this second attack, it would simply keep multiplying itself into sets of twelve until it was either destroyed by another attack or they made some type of contact.
"Heh..." But, as soon as Shadin had appeared before the two Arrancar's, he had faded away and emerged behind Grimmjow as he coated his left fist in a layer of electricity."Get ready for this!" If he were successful, Shadin would either strike Grimmjow dead in the side of his left jaw or somewhere on his neck, shoulder or upper back. Soon after that attack, he would move his right index finger in a circle as a sphere of lightening would appear above The Un-named Arrancar's head. This sphere would send off ten or so tentacles made from electricity to attack and shock The Arrancar unless he destroyed it with an attack, Shadin called it off or he was able to disappear from the area.
Thus, with these attack moves, the battle had begin!

“Cero”
Grimmjow felt the drawing of power for the attack before he heard the words, and turned to look as the cero flew towards him. There was a sudden pulse of energy, the blast impacted with him, and he vanished in the smoke as the shockwave from the attack rippled through the sky. Grimmjow hadn’t expected to have to use a cero to block another one on this trip, but that didn’t stop him from doing it. It angered him, that apparently some hollow or arrancar apparently took it upon themselves to launch an attack at him; he released a bit of his power, enough to push the smoke away, and looked at the arrancar who was now leaning over the dead shinigami. Was he mad? Grimmjow’s eyes narrowed at the sight; this arrancar was mad about the death of some shinigami?
Grimmjow noted something as he stood there; there was no zanpaku-tou. No weapon whatsoever existed on the humanoid hollow. A smirk curled Grimmjow’s features once more; this was no Arrancar. This was a Hollow. A Vasto Lorde apparently. Not that Grimmjow cared; he was an opponent, and one that was obviously stronger than the Shinigami he had just dealt with.
”Eh? A hollow seeks to tell me what do? Well, what a pair you’ve got on you,” Grimmjow called out as he clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking audibly; along his right arm and side there were burns. It appeared that he had not walked away completely unscathed.
”All the same, if you’re looking to get an ass kicking, I’ll oblige!”
Grimmjow vanished, his sonido carrying down to where Marcus stood, appearing before him with his fist reared back to punch. As he continued to fly towards the Hollow however, he vanished once more, appearing behind the hollow, lashing out with his leg once more. Before he could get a gauge on where his attack had landed or not, or how much damage it had done for that matter, a new voice rang out, and as Grimmjow looked up this new figure was above them, and sent a bolt of lightning flying down towards both he and the hollow. Where were these people coming from!? Neither of these bastards were Kurosaki Ichigo; neither was his prey. And yet they seemed to be attracted to his appearance like ants to honey.
Grimmjow used another Sonido to carry himself back and away from the lightning bolt, and saw it split into a dozen bolts of electricity, half of which pursued him. It was reasonable to assume that such a thing was not a onetime trick; even if it was, better safe than sorry. Grimmjow held out his hand, and released a cero of his own to intercept the attack, and maybe catch Marcus along the way, though he doubted it. Grimmjow had other things to worry about anyway; the new figure landed between the pair of them and vanished, before reappearing next to Grimmjow, throwing a fist at him that was covered in lightning!
Grimmjow ducked, throwing his right shoulder back to avoid the punch as he spun, and brought his own attack to bare in the form of an axe kick that came crashing down, sending chunks of cement and debris flying. Grimmjow vanished, using Sonido to retreat a few feet to get a look at the pair of enemies he was now apparently fighting.
”Hey! Who the fuck are you two anyway?” he called out, annoyance in his voice. First there was a weak shinigami, then a vasto lorde who seemed angered by the death of said shinigami, and now some new bastard that Grimmjow couldn’t place. No mask meant he wasn’t a hollow or arrancar, and throwing lightning without an incantation or anything made it unlikely he was a shinigami unless this was his Zanpaku-tou’s powers. Was he one of these other races that had popped up in the last 400 years?

Otahu was, for all intents and purposes, dead. Laying in the ruin and rubble like some lifeless, discarded doll. Her sword still clutched in her hands, which would be cold before too long.
There were still a few moments to be had within her mind, Doragonkawa having pulled her into the Inner World. Having laid the girl out in a bed of moss beneath tall, beautiful trees. She smiled up at the spirit but was too weak to reach up to caress it's snout.
-I am sorry, little one....but this is going to hurt.-
Otahu only closed her eyes, sure that death would welcome her. Until a searing pain washed over her. The three occupants were busy yet with one another to notice her chest rising and falling. Her lips parting even as a white ichor spewed from her lips. Trying to take in a breath, but the vile stuff seemed never ending.
The white substance was shaping around her face even as she laid there. Hardening slowly even as Otahu continued to choke on it as if drowning. Until the last of it finally seemed to be free and she sucked in a desperate breath.
Alive? But hwo? And what was on her face? Reaching up and feeling along the ridges before she heard a familiar voice edged in anger.
-Say it...-
"Lavar, Dragón del Río..."
The combatants may not have paid much attention before, but now they would be forced to. Reiatsu seemed to explode from her body, kicking up dust and rubble into the air and making it impossible to see. Each would feel the sudden freezing drain of Tatakai ni Taiga; as if an ice cold river was pushing at them viciously.
As the dust began to settle, there was a horrible sight. A black twisting dragon was glaring with hateful eyes at them, but what was more curious was the Shinigami that Grimmjow had impaled was now standing. A black kimono worn with a surreal grace as it's loose sleeves and skirt drifted with her hair as if she were underwater.
When her eyes opened, they were a solid cerulean blue with a dark inner light; no pupils, no schlera. Whats more, her hands and feet were moulded with the dragon's own.
"I will not let you end her like this..." Her voice was dual toned. The soft, sweetly breathless and melodic tones of Otahu, but overlaid with a powerful bass voice that was the dragon's own; it's mouth moving with hers as they seemed to speak with one voice.
Of course...even a powerful Vizard newly born could not hold their mask, let alone such power like she was. Her form wavered once before the dragon faded from view and she was left wearing a mask that suddenly cracked and shattered as she slumped forward into the ground.
Unconscious, but not dead.

Reiatsu pulsed against his own, a blue haired animal bearing its teeth before the man who had dared to stand in defiance against its most predatory instincts. He flinched not, even in the show of a blunt force greater than his own. An equally terse gaze returned Grimmjow's own, the slightest hint of a snarl bearing itself in the form of a flared nostril and twitching brow. It was, a silent yet audible reply to Grimmjow's own arrogant posturing, a rather annoying trait that had apparently been well assessed in the many stories of the nigh legendary former Sexta Espada. Silently he waited, silently he mused to himself, muscles flexing themselves and stretching in rhythmic manner, readied as the gladiator before the lion, or, in this case, the panther. Then, the flash of sonido came, first to front, an instinctive twist of the ankle and backslide brought Marcus into retreat from the feint, a keen ear and sensitive presence giving warning of the second crack of sonido, leaving Marcus side stepping away from the brunt of the kick and a one-eighty spin bringing him to face, his right arm bringing itself upwards with a flash of crimson in prevention against what would have been a bruising kick.
"Predictable."
And wide the cero flew, pushing Marcus back ever so slightly against his own force as the cero let loose in retort to Grimmjow's most arrogant attempt at a display of "skill". Again his feet pushed back, but in the willing control of Marcus as he too found himself retreating backwards from Grimmjow, a sonido distancing himself from the aggressive arrancar known only as Grimmjow. Still his left hand glew a deathly crimson, and ready he was to turn again to pursue after Grimmjow, if it were not for the, albeit flashy, appearance of Shadin. Silently he cursed to himself at the interruption, not that there would be onlookers, but at the manner in which the unexpected arrival had greeted both himself and Grimmjow, the electrical currents launched through the air with deadly intent. Again Marcus leaped with sonido, but still the energy pursued, instinct took hold yet again, and so did his left hand snap forward, releasing the second cero from his body, the crimson wave clashing against electrical current, a pity not all had been deflected though, as partial sparks of current seeped through and grazed at his cheek, leaving a small burn and numbing sensation against his skin, if for but a moment before his own body repaired itself in but a few seconds.
But still it was not finished, the man had pursued after Grimmjow, but not without extending a rather unwanted greeting towards Marcus as well. The sphere appeared above his head, but not without notice, a quick slash of the hand and a curt exclamation of "RASGAR" echoed through the air, a quick sharped pulse of reiatsu shaped as an arc colliding with the sphere above him as it had begun to disperse its attack, cut down not but moments before the deadly grasp of tendrils could have hoped to have reached Marcus. Without the current though, his blood boiled in a far more metaphorical sense. It seemed that a needless conflict had spawned itself before him yet again. Still, it would not be something chalked up to circumstance and acceptance, instead, the voice of reason would make its attempt to be heard. That was, if it were not for the sudden release of spiritual pressure and freezing waves that had suddenly crashed against the field of battle, leaving Marcus to leap away from his respite yet again, a rather frustrating thing of battle it was. But the sudden recognition that the unnamed shinigami girl was, indeed, still alive, though, in a form most unexpected, one lost in but a matter of moments as she fell to a state of unconsciousness once more, leaving Marcus to his devices once more as he looked to speak again, Grimmjow's cero passing him harmlessly by a matter of yards, all in a rather strange thanks to the release from the shinigami girl that had caused him to flee from his previous post. Perhaps this time, he could speak, albeit with a rather irritated tone.
"Shadin-san...reevaluate and assess! The enemy is the one who is obviously the untrained beast looking for blood. Strike me not, for I am not an enemy of yours or any citizen within this city, be they human or shinigami!"

[Let's Rock N' Roll!]"Darn, I missed!" Spoke Shadin aloud to himself, but audible enough for the other people lurking nearby in the area to hear him say; All while he began laughing jokingly at himself after Grimmjow had used Soindo to avoid both of his attack's. "I guess you aren't a panther for anything, eh?" Shadin said directly towards Grimmjow, while at the same time monitoring most of his fast phased movements closely with each of his eyes that have been trained to deal with high speed combat scenario's. Swiftly, using flash step, Shadin emerged right behind Grimmjow with a slight grin across his face. "Don't you listen? I'm Shadin Yuudeshi: Leader Of The Yayjuu!" He yelled with confidence booming in his voice. "And you, Mr.Jaegerjaquez, your history!"In a matter of milliseconds, Shadin made an attempt to press each of his palms against the back of Grimmjow. Next, each of his hands would glow bright white until he would make a try at sending a huge surge of electricity into Grimmjow's body. If this attack was successful, it would at first create a small explosion of lightening around the two of them in a ten foot square area. However, at the same time he made contact with Grimmjow, that surge of electricity that was sent into his body would attempt to cause him great pain throughout every inch of his body along with creating some serious burns on his back and attempting to disturb his nervous system in order to make his movements slower and less accurate. And, with enough of his electricity attached inside and outside of Grimmjow's body mixed together with his reitsu, he could have the potential to track Grimmjow down until he leaves the city due to the fact that through his manipulation of all things electric, he could monitor or at least get a good idea of what area Grimmjow would be in. All that would be required is to channel his electricity throughout all the power lines, electric gadgets or anything that runs on electricity along with scattering lightening throughout the sky in Karakura Central. But alas, from that point, Shadin would then make his go at escaping from the circle of lightening that would expand to around twenty square feet before exploding in a dazzling display of light, fire, electricity and smoke. Hopefully, if the explosion was loud enough, it could damage Grimmjow's hearing enough to cause a loud ringing in the ears. "Sorry about that ol' chum! But I simply cannot allow Arrancar's to go thrashing about my hometown making a mess of things without calls for a beatdown!" Shouted Shadin as loud as he could before turning his attention down towards the Shinigami that he once thought was dead."The hell?"Staring down below, all he could see was dust and rubble suddenly flying in every which direction along with the sudden burst of spiritual pressure coming from a person whom he believed was dead. But then something clicked inside of Shadin's head. ...hollow. During this burst of reishi, he could detect a strong presence of hollowfied energies in it which could only mean one thing; He was witnessing the birth of a new born Vizard. "Well fuck..." Scratching his head a bit, he looked down at the dragon who was obviously talking to Grimmjow, or at least, he hoped. This meant that Shadin would probably try to take her to the Vizard Corps after all was said and done. Since, after all, his own brother is the current leader of that organization and he remembers the pains of being a newly formed Vizard."This oughta' keep you safe during the battle..." Holding his right palm out towards The Newly Born Vizard, Shadin's Zanpaukto calculated how much electricity would be needed to form a barrier around her body in order to protect her from everything that was about to go down. "I'll take good care of ya'" Not too long after that, the other Arrancar or Hollow from before had caught his attention. He was amused that this chump was able to survive this long on the battlefield."How do you expect me to believe you?" Not wasting any time, Shadin flash stepped directly in front of the hollow and went on pull each of his fingers back on his right hand while a large amount of electricity and reitsu gathered in his palm as a loud roar similar to a cheetah could be heard across the area. "Hehehehe, Cheetah Fist!" And with that, Shadin's entire arm was coated in a mixture of eletricity and an immensely bright, white shining light and he then went on to try and make a jab at his chest. Upon doing this, yet another roar bellowed across the area that scattered the glass off window's, car's and even shook up the ground a bit; the attack itself would hopefully blow him a bit along with sending immense pain throughout his body and causing some damage to his nervous system that would hopefully make him stay on the ground or even pass out
"Sorry about this bud, but these days you can never be too careful. Not after that war that waged here because of your kind and the kinds of horrors I saw through out it and the many friends that were lost. I'll try to get everything sorted late..." Spoke Shadin in a more serious tone as he slowly turned his head upward towards wherever Grimmjow. "I'm also gonna give you the chance to either leave the city or face getting attacked by me...."
"So from either of you, I want no funny business...."

It seemed as though Grimmjow had started a real shirtstorm with his re-emergence after all these years; and he didn’t even know any of these people. They sure as hell knew him though. It was a shitstorm in another respect, as a thousand things seemed to be going on; and Grimmjow reveled in it. Part of him was angry about the fact he had been ambushed twice now; the other parts of him loved the fact that he had found what he had come for, strong prey. The stranger vanished from sight, appearing behind him and shouting an answer to the question he had posed; he was already launching another attack as he hands stretched out towards him. One of them made contact, and Grimmjow began to feel the tingling of electricity before he vanished from the space, using Sonido to gain distance once again, though he felt a burn on his back; he hadn’t moved quickly enough. He hadn’t been taking this seriously yet, and now he was beginning to pay the price.
Above all the yelling, he heard a command go out, and a strange pressure washed over the area; the shinigami he had killed had stood up once more, and now was releasing an energy like a hollow; an energy like Kurosaki Ichigo, in a way. The newly formed Vizard looked at him, and made a promise of not letting her be ended this way; Grimmjow stared back without blinking for a few moments until the mask cracked, and Shadin placed a barrier over the girl. Grimmjow’s interest had been perked already. Next, Shadin launched a series of attacks at Marcus, at which Grimmjow just stood and watched, his eyes flicking between the pair and the girl for a few moments before he made his decision. Shadin ceased his assault against Marcus, and turned his attention back on Grimmjow, issuing an ultimatum.
In the years between the Aizen War and now, Grimmjow had changed. He had become more serious, more analytical about who and what he fought, and how he went about his fights. He seldom dropped into the maniacal laughter of the olden days. And yet, he did exactly that for the second time today as Shadin issued the ultimatum.
”Leave? Flee? Shadin Yuudeshi, what do you think drew me out of Hueco Mundo after all of these years? I came looking for a fight; for an opponent who could give me a challenge. I’ve found that, and now you think I’m just going to leave? Grimmjow called back at the Ziamichis leader. This man had also hit a particular button of Grimmjow’s; he was looking down on him. This was something that he needed to be taught not to do. However, before he continued his eyes traveled over to the arrancar Marcus for a moment before tracking back to Shadin.
”I want to kick your, but I’m not interested in a 2 on 1 fight, and I don’t trust that fool to keep his hands to himself, he said, pointing directly at Shadin. ”You’re the one I’m interested in now; you seem to be the strongest opponent in the area,” Grimmjow concluded, before looking back at Marcus. ”So stay out of it; if you want a piece, wait for your turn.” That was when Grimmjow switched modes, from defensive to offensive. It was time for a fight.
Grimmjow vanished from sight, appearing just ahead of Shadin and bringing his full physical strength to bare as he lashed out with his right fist. However, this was a ruse; his left hand glowed a bright crimson color as he fired the cero at what hopefully should have been point blank ranked. Most likely it wouldn’t; Grimmjow adjusted for Shadin’s move. At the very least, he was going to leave the Ziamichi with a cero to contend with for the time being. Grimmjow wasn’t ready to step things all the way up just yet. He wanted to test the waters; this Shadin Yuudeshi was most certainly strong, but just how strong?

Re: Of Duties and Dangers [Closed]

Wide eye recognition answered the sudden flash of movement, Marcus attempted to back pedal, a slight bend at the knees signifying his intent to sonido away from the suddenly appearing Shadin. A pity though, and one answered by a simple "Shi.." before an electrical burst of energy and bare handed palm crashing into his chest, just shy of the hole in his chest. The pain was immense, as was the physical response, as windows and windshields shattered around them, Marcus himself was thrown as unceremoniously as a rag doll some many feet, his slumped form crashing into the side of a building across the street, stone wall shattering and dissolving into a powdered dust as the wall collapsed in on itself, Marcus within the rubble as it collapsed and fell, the dust settling to reveal his form strewn across the concrete and steel rubble, apparently passed out as intended. But, it was not so, still the effects were...considerable. Slowly he rose to his feet, his body stumbling as his entire nervous system either screamed in agony or collapsed in on itself, powerful singes and burns on his chest in the shape of Shadin's palm apparent as was the scent of burnt flesh. Just as before though, the patchwork arrancar began to heal, burns and sensations of pain slowly fading into sensations of charged muscle, tense muscles twitching on occasion as he finally straightened himself, a hand rubbing at his brow as if to cast off the moments before to nothing but poor memory before looking back to the field, a look of, irritation present, if one could call the sensation something as simple as irritation.
"He tells me that I cause havoc, and here he is the one turning buildings into powder and crashing through windows so casually. I'll never understand the hypocrisy of these youth."
Quickly though he cast aside the frustrations, he couldn't simply expect a shinigami to accept his words at face value, not when so many had experienced the horrors of the Winter's War as this one had claimed. Racial stereotyping and based aggression was, sadly, a common thing in these worlds, and anything less than outright violence towards one another often found itself to be the rarest of occasions. The scent of burning fabrics brought him from his thoughts though, for all but a moment, a quick eye glancing down at the haori he wore, several traced burn marks from both the electrical discharge of Shadin's attack and the wiring crashed through from the building he just rose from had caught his jacket alight with a smoldering singe, all but ruining and eating away at the entire lower left half. A flared nostril showed his distaste as his hand reached for the fabric, ripping it from the rest of the haori, tearing away nearly the entire left hand side from the sleeve down. Then, his attention returned to the scene at hand, it seemed that Shadin had done well to engage Grimmjow entirely on his own, forcing the wild cat arrancar to instead put the majority of his focus on the shinigami (or whatever it was exactly that this strange man Shadin truly was).
A call for him to leave the battle as it was made itself known from the barking commands of the blue-haired former Espada. Pity though, as strict a man of code as he may have been, notions as that of a "fair-fight" were lost to Marcus. Never in his existence had he experienced what so many defined as "fair", and the likes of this animal, they never truly deserved anything less than the butcher's blade to put them from the worlds of those willing to improve for the sake of existence, as opposed to that of just themselves. But, a rush into the battle of two stronger foes, such was not at its wisest. Instead, opportunistic combat would be best suited, but, such would be forced to be fought in a way so as to not further entice a conflict between himself and Shadin. So, he stood in waiting, until the moment found itself right, Grimmjow turning himself to a sense of total offense, a cero flung at Shadin, but one not to go without challenge. There it was, opportunity.
A sonido brought him closer, sudden and at Grimmjow's right, Marcus' very own ambush in play as his right hand came in a downward angled cross slash, a burst of reiatsu expelling in a mighty slash "Rasgar" and once more, Rasgar made its play into the field, a sharp reiatsu blade meant to cleave through Grimmjow's hiero at that moment he were so lusting to bring a cero down upon Shadin. It was his set to aid, his set to not allow himself to be lost from combat. True, as it stood, this man Shadin held perhaps a greater power than Grimmjow, which played him on a field beyond Marcus' own. Nevertheless, a battle with Grimmjow, no matter the gap, could prove one of mass destruction, and one could assume that the locals and residents had no desire to find the entirety of their city collapsing around them under the storms of reiatsu released from Grimmjow's own showmanship of raw power. This was an animal to be put down at the earliest possible moment, a quick glance to Shadin and curt nod acting as the hope of communication to the man, Marcus would not sit idly by and wait, his contribution would be made to keeping the peace.
