Violation. [2 Slots Open]

"And we're almost ready to go..." The male looking at the computer screen smiled. Reaching a single hand out, he cracked a smile. Finally. He thought as he finally pressed the button, before kicking his chair back. His eyes glanced down to the picture on his desk, his mouth smiling lightly as he looked at the image of himself, his wife, and their son. Or rather, the picture of himself, his wife, his son, Shizuo, Justin, Mana, Yako, Zane, Rin, Amy, Nozomi, Slenderman, Rose, Saeko and her little Ash... In short, everyone the Doctor thought of as his family. "Ah well." He chuckled to himself, reaching a single hand out as he pressed down a button on the top of the image, letting it fade to black. "I cannot cling to them forever..." The Doctor muttered, before getting out of his chair. "And this world would probably do best to learn to live without myself, as well." He thought with a chuckle, before walking back to the door and opening it wide. "Ah, the smell of fresh and stagnant inverted air." The Doctor said aloud with a chuckle, before reaching into the sand next to the small wooden hut. "Really, the inverse of a place with nothing? This place was supposed to have everything." The male chuckled, before slowly pulling the box out of its container. "Technology and snow... what an awful combination." The male concluded, before withdrawing the item within the container. Inside, there was a single glove. A glove that the Doctor wrapped around his arm, his eyes shifting colors as two droplets of blood fell from their gaze. The blackened rings on orange irises searched the snowy mountain he was on, causing his entire body to shiver. He was part snake, after all; this climate truly was not the best for him. "Now then..." Reaching the gauntlet back, the Doctor pressed his fingers into the ground, cackling aloud. This was what he lived for. So much new information had become available from the emergence of these planes. Now, the Doctor was ready to utilize that information. "If this trial succeeds..." The Doctor was almost hesitant to finish that sentence. After all, the possibilities would be... exactly what he was calculating. Slowly, the Doctor began to pull on the ground. As he did so, his entire arm began to disperse into a strange fog. On the ground in front of him, the snow and ice began to disperse, as the hut that the Doctor was looking at began to shift and change... But it was accompanied by explosive force. The screw that was planted in the Doctor's head shifted slightly back and forth as his body tried to stay together. "The basic principles of our world... Connections. To break or distort a connection... that is a violation. Now... let's perform the ultimate violation." The 'barrier' between realms became undone. The snowy mountain that the Doctor had been beholding was dispersing... though it was not truly gone. A box of somewhere else appeared before his gaze, making the mountain stop around that location as the green field began. It had simply changed planes. The Doctor had created... not so much a gateway, as created a shift in the dimensional space. The backlash of such an action, however... "GraAAAAAH!" The Doctor's shriek ripped across both this plane and the one it was connecting to... the Planet Nebala. "Gaah..." It was extremely likely that at least Rose's observational network would have detected the anomaly by now. "So much... energy..." The glove continued to absorb the Doctor's power as his left arm raced to the side of his body, a scalpel appearing there as he dug in, before tearing downwards. "GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Pain. Pain? What? How can I still feel it? How? How? What? Why? When? Who? Who? Pain? The Doctor's intellect was thrown into dismay as he fell back, landing on the crisp green meadow that now connected to mountain. It did appear in a way as if there was now a gate between the two realms... but it was incomplete. After all, half of the side of the mountain had turned to gravel, when the Doctor had attempted to make it perfectly level with the other side. "Oooow..." The Doctor groaned in pain, finally glancing over at his missing arm. His eyes widened at what he saw. Where his arm had been, there was now someone... else's. From what his eyes were telling him, it was a human arm, clothed from where it had started on the Doctor's body. That's why... there's so much... pain...! The Doctor coughed, before falling down to a single knee, his left arm pressing into the ground to maintain his balance. ...No. The Doctor's palm pressed into his shoulder, before letting out another great cry searing flame and thousands of sharp rocks stabbed through his skin. Finally, the flaming earth moved downwards, completely separating that part of his body. As it fell to the ground, a human man wearing the same clothing as on the arm fell down to accompany it, before they both landed on the ground at the same time. ...That... was incredibly dangerous... The Doctor had experienced an emotion which had not occurred to him for several years. Fear. A bead of sweat went down the side of his head as he looked at the man laying on the ground. "That's not me." He said aloud, looking down at the man. "That's not me lying on the ground there. Dead." ...Hmm? The Doctor's body finally relaxed for a moment, and he was instantly alerted to the other presence that had appeared next to him. His body shifted back, taking a defense stance in the now green grass. It had not existed there the moment before, and the Doctor's eyes could see no path by which the intruder had arrived. After that initial surprise... he relaxed for a moment. That truly unsettled me... when was the last time I acted so... animalistically...? The Doctor's pounding heart finally came to a rest. After all, it seemed incredibly likely that the other individual had emerged from the Doctor's actions. ...Ah. They must have been pushed here to replace the one who was dismissed... I just moved several people. The one who tried to become myself in the World of Black Spirits died... I'm still alive... so this person was pushed up from whatever dimension was... 'below' that earth... and because I killed him, I got to stay in the world of Black Spirits... Perhaps it was not entirely accurate, but it was the plainest way the Doctor could think of the phenomenon that had occurred. The person who had appeared before him could be anyone... but the sight that they were greeted by would certainly be strange. The Doctor, Kabuto Hebi, standing upright with blood pouring out of the side of his body where he was missing half his flesh, along with a dead corpse lying in front of him and a mountain that appeared to simply go into a green field at a certain box-like point, everything else being normal. ...Most importantly... that is not a gate... That is a change. It is not simply able to be closed... it would have to be reverse engineered... and the specs to do such a thing... lie within my mind... The Doctor thought to himself, reflecting on this thing which he had done... |

Henrex Astillon The Broken Raven Descend Into Darkness Today was a day that had events that Henrex had not planned to have within them. At first, he had just been sitting within a tree, writing. The day had gone by decently. It could have gone worse. He had woken up with a headache, causing him to be distracted throughout the morning. However, he soon found himself safe within his little sanctuary, which was a tree, with a pen and notebook in hand. He always felt more...at ease while he was writing. With whatever story he was writing, he could craft together anything he wished, create the hero, the villain. In a sense, he was the God of that little world that he could create. However, that was not one of those days. Today was a day where he spent him time refreshing his mind of the thousands of letters of kanji that he had been taught when he was in his human life, young and jubilant. It had been many years since he had picked up a pen to write for something like that. It seemed that he still remembered, somewhere in the back of his mind, the lessons stuck to his mind like glue, keeping a piece of the good memories that he had with him. However, the good memories were not always the ones that brought joy. It always reminded him that they were gone. Forever. Putting his head in his hands, the male forced himself to wipe those thoughts from his head, trying to make himself focus on the paper and pen that would create the kanji that he had set out to practice with. It had seemed like a normal day for him. Alone, writing, and in the middle of nowhere in this cluster that one would call a world. It was not a normal day. For a single moment in all of space and time, he felt quite literally nothing. He felt like he didn't exist. And then, just like that, pain hit him like a train. He tried to scream, but his voice was gone. His body felt like he was being ripped from the very plane of existence that he was in. Panic and fear gripped his entire essence, causing his head to flick and whip around, looking for something, someone. Anything in this hellish landscape that he was being ripped from. Silence. No one was there. No one would see him leave. No one would even wonder where he had gone, either. He would simple vanish from this world. Was he dying? No, he knew what it was like. This was not even close to dying. It was being ripped from the realm that he was in. Henrex's eyes soon began to fill with a shining white light.... And then blackness. Darkness engulfed his vision for what seemed like ages. He couldn't move. However, this all lasted a short time. His ability to move soon returned to him, as did his vision. But there was something different. When he opened his eyes, he was no longer sitting where he was. No, he wasn't even anywhere near where he had been. He was currently standing on his feet, with his nerves emitting a sense of chill up his legs and down his spine. His hand slowly started to move towards his side, where three silver throwing stars lay, clipped to his side. He couldn't make out what was in front of him...nor could he figure out what had sent him here. The blurriness of his vision soon faded, and revealed....a gruesome scene. A strange man, also standing on his feet. His side...was bleeding. Henrex's eyes went wide from this, and his hand slowly and shakily began to move towards the half mask that covered his face. The male was dressed from head to toe in a ninja's garments, a shinobi shizuka. While he never wore the black hood that would normally be worn in similar fashion to a hoodie, he had chosen to simply wear a half mask. Pulling the cloth down and revealing his nose and mouth, he would slowly approach Dr. Hebi. "Let me....try to help...." Bringing his hands together to form a strange, ancient hand sign, Henrex's eyes would close, before his lips would release something else that was also very, very ancient. A mantra left his lips, and a small glowing would come from his hands. As such, the doctor would find his bleeding side beginning to heal itself, as Henrex was using his spiritual energy to enter the Doctor's bloodstream and accelerating the process of which one's body would heal. As the ancient ninja ritual finished, Henrex stood upright, turning his head slightly, and covering his face once more with the half mask, before his body would gently quiver and shake. His mind raged with questions upon himself, asking why he had just randomly helped this person. For all he knew, he could be someone who was out to kill him. However, his heart told him to heal him, regardless of whether he was good or evil. "Um -- you're...welcome. Who are you? Where...am I? How did I....get here?" |

Jade's adventures had been becoming more frequent, and she was having a hard time balancing her time at the shop with her time out in the world. Of course, she could just go out less and focus more on work... but work was also an adventure to her.
And today had been a long one. The client had scheduled the earliest appointment possible, which was a bright and shiny eight in the morning. So, of course Jade got up at seven in the morning to ensure she wasn't late this time. She woke to Joey curled up into her side. The large orange feline had picked to be the little spoon during their slumber. Jade peeked her eyes open and looked down at her feline friend, smiling at his sleeping form. She scratched around his ears and then moved to under his chin. A little mrrrow~ escaped him as he stretched his body out.
Tossing the covers over the cat, Jade got out of bed and had her shower, got breakfast, fed Joey, and kissed him goodbye.
--
The day went faster than expected, but she worked from arrival until three in the afternoon. That was seven hours of work. Although, she did insist the client take ten minute breaks on each hour, so it was really five hours and fifty minutes of work. She got the tattoo piece done, however. Full bright colors for a back piece of a dragon snaking his way around of many different beautiful flowers.
Ringing the customer up, Jade would bow, accept any tip they offered, and clock out. She was exhausted, after all.
The walk home was normal, nothing exciting happened... well, until she felt some sort of deja vu hit her. She had walked passed a noodle shop on one street, and then four blocks later the same noodle shop appeared. The sudden occurrence made her curious, but not enough to ignore how tired she was. So, she continued the last block home and made it into her studio apartment.
"Joooeeyyy.. Here," she'd say when she got into the dwelling. The cat would purr, a little set of mrow's escaping him as he jogged to the door. Jade knelt down, scooped him up, and carried him over to the kitchen portion of the apartment. She hadn't even bothered taking her shoes off. Or her messenger styled bag - it was strapped around of her torso.
"Let's get you some late lunch, and then I'm taking a cat nap. You're welcome to join me." She sat the feline down on the counter and grabbed a can of cat food. Opening it up, she spooned it out onto a saucer and placed it in front of Joey. He sat, patiently waiting for Jade to give him the go ahead. This cat, despite being a complete jerk sometimes, was well mannered when it came to food. And Jade found it odd, but also impressive.
"Itadakimasu," She would say, patting Joey on the head. The cat would then step forward and start eating right away. Jade took this as her chance to go lay down, so she carried herself to her bed, flopped onto it, and curled the sheet around of her.
"Just... a... nap." She would mutter, her eyes fluttering shut...
Before sleep could actually pull her into any dreams, she felt a stinging pain wrap around of her from all sides.
She opened her mouth to scream, but nothing came out. Suddenly, everything was black. And there was no pain. Reaching out in front of her, she felt a thick, sticky wetness. She then realized it was attached to her, and holding her in place.
She must be having a nightmare...
"It's... gotta be a nightmare," she said, fishing around with her clean hand into her pocket to find her phone. Pulling it out she tapped the screen, swiped, and then opened a flashlight application. Illuminating the space she was in, Jade realized she was in a sort of cocoon like structure... made of... ink?
She looked down to her right hand, it covered in the substance. There were tendrils of ink webbing out from her torso, standing her white tank top. The tendrils suspended her perfectly, keeping her in the center of the cocoon.
But how did this happen? It was obviously a dream.
She pinched herself to make sure.
"OW!" she said aloud, and then a sinking feeling curled into her gut.
This was not a dream.
To the outside world, Jade had just been ripped from her apartment, her realm, and thrown into another one. The sudden jerk from one realm to another forced Jade's actual powers to protect her from any physical damage - but there was no way to help her with the emotional turmoil she was about to face. Now in the middle of the mountains meets meadow scene there was a black elliptical shape hovering about a foot from the ground, spinning slowly. The ink would ripple and move, continuously shaping around of Jade to keep her safe. The unknown territory was what caused this - but Jade had no idea what was going on!
"HELP!" she would scream, her voice muted, but able to be heard by anyone nearby.
Dropped her phone, it slipping through the ink and thudding on the ground, crushing a few smaller flowers on the meadow floor. She started digging with her hands, pushing them through the inky barrier, grasping for anything, or anyone.

"Hmm…?" The male asked, his eyes looking over at the man who had appeared. "That won't be necessary at all…" He told the man, a small grimace on his face as he widened his eyes as the man's hand approached him. "Tssss!" He positively spat, as licks of the power touched against his body. "…" The Doctor's body began to shiver and shake, his organs going into capsaicin. Falling onto his knees, the Doctor's entire body began to twitch, his mouth opening as he expunged a wriggling mass of baby snakes onto the ground, crawling and writhing as they tried to survive… but there was no chance. The outside energy was poison to them, and their flailing about soon came to a stop. The Doctor's right hand slowly gripped the base of his hood, bringing it to his lips as he wiped away the saliva that had come out of his mouth as well, his eyes narrowed and pointed directly at the intruder. "… Ninjutsu…" He commented, his eyes widening slightly. "Well, that was the closest thing that you could have used… But unfortunately, my own education in the arts drifted into places yours cannot go." The Doctor explained, before he made a small smile. "I'm not thanking you." The Doctor told him bluntly, his eyes continuing to stare at the hole which he had made. The man behind him could obviously see it as well, but it seemed highly unlikely that him seeing it would mean anything. "I am the Doctor, Kabuto Hebi. The meagerest of scientists in this reality of ours." The Doctor explained, turning his head around as he let his arms fall to his sides, leaving him standing there with his hood down, the snake-like scales in his skin apparent to the eye in the light of day. "As for where you are, this is obviously a dream." The snake man told him, his eyes looking directly into Henrex's, as if examining his very soul. They were cold, calculating… yet within them was also a spark of life, a sense of purpose. This was a being that had existed for millenia, but had managed to never lose that feeling of ambition. "You fell asleep, of course. Who is to say that you have not been dreaming since you last woke?" The Doctor continued, stepping back into the cabin as he paused in front of the door. "Of course, this could also be a prophetic kind of dream." He mentioned, pausing with a smile as he glanced over at Henrex. "But worry not. My machinations are but the smallest vibrations on the Richter scale. They will not be felt for so long of a time that I doubt even I will still be alive." The Doctor told him solemnly, before blinking as he noticed his severed arm still on the ground next to the man… |
