» Shifter Appearance Written:
Rokurou's shifter appearance varies from his normal appearance, and where he looks almost stoic in normal form this shows off his ferocious side. Starting with his eyes, they turn from their normal lavender to a glowing dark purple, his pupils disappearing from his eyes completely. His hair where once black becomes shortened and produces two tufts of hair on both his left and right side of his head. The hair itself stops just at the nape of his neck and curves inward to meet at the front of his neck.

On both sides of his head are two horns with one also slowly sticking out from the middle of his head. Both horns on the side of his head are black from the base and slowly work into a deep blue until it reaches the tip while his middle horn is black. Coursing along his arms are a blue like armor which fashion into claws as it reaches towards his fingers and traces up his arms and stops at the base of where his wings start.

The wings on his back however look more bat like in appearance, but are covered with black and blue shards that serve as an armor of sorts as well as another form of offense. His wings start from the base of his shoulders, moving down slowly and caressing his sides where his pants are.

Rokurou is a tall man whose looks pale in comparison to his actual age. Standing at a height of six foot one, Roku's physical body is depicted as a male in his athletic prime. His chest is chiseled and rigid showing off his sculpted abdomen and pectoral muscles. Though he has no issues wearing something like this, he prefers to always show his chest.

Under any normal circumstance he is always seen with his hair down where it falls below his neck and stops just over the collar of his jacket. While his hair is long and well maintained, the black locks often find themselves curling up especially around the right side of his face, where his often has little tufts of hair sticking out. His eyes however are the crown jewel of his looks. The intoxicating orbs are a soft lavender color which seem to glow in the right light.

Moving on to his clothing, if he ever out and about he often wears this. Starting with the top he wears a cut off vest which only covers the top most portion of his pecs leaving the bottom and the rest of his chest fully exposed. From the back to his sides rest the crest of the demon whom he once made a contract with during his human years. The black crest spans from the bottom of his shoulder blades to the start of his hips where it curves over and then stops beside his lower ribs.

Moving onto the lower portion of his body he wears a pair of black pants which are held up by a single red sash. Attached to the golden buckle with holds the sash against the pants rests an ash grey and black pelt which drops just to the bells of his pants and rest comfortably against his sandals.

In a situation that requires him to be properly dressed and ready his appearance changes. He wears a white mandarin collared sleeveless shirt, worn over by a black sleeveless stand up collared jacket. The bottom half consists of white pants wrapped around by a sarong and tied with an abrasive belt. Along the length of his neck lies his birthmark which to some look like a small scar. The jagged line starts from the right side of his neck and travels just shy of his jaw line, the appearance of such making it seem as if he had been cut or something.

» Personality:

Prior to his change Rokurou had been quite the easygoing and lax individual who enjoyed working quickly and drinking just as fast.. But that man is no more. After contracting with the demon Erebes, the male's new life as a Demon and the reasons leading up to that point changed his outlook on life as well as his demeanor.

Roku has a strange and extremely intimidating personality. He has a certain level of respect for all of his fellow demons, former and present, and has utter faith in their abilities. He possesses a strong winners-mentality, believing that winners get everything in life while losers are denied all. However he also has a tendency to take victory for granted as he holds that, for him, winning is merely a given and thus, lost the sense of accomplishment in victory. Roku also views his power and skill as absolute and grows violent when anybody opposes this ideal of his.

Roku also will not tolerate anyone who opposes him, looks down on him or speaks to him in a derisive manner, stating that only those who serve him can look him in the eye, while others who oppose him should know their place.This rule of course he allows to pass when faced with someone he knows is over him. Roku also thinks that his orders are absolute and he will use force to make others submit to them. Roku seems too often take things to the extreme, this will be shown by anyone who would oppose him showing them no mercy and no tolerance for it in the slightest swiftly resulting to violence if need be…

Like most of the stereotypical Demons, Roku looks down on those that are less powerful than himself, which in this case mostly incorporates lesser demons, as he always strives to be one above anyone in the food chain. However he breaks away from this stereotype by putting up a face of benevolence and a charismatic smile. Befitting his genius intellect and heritage Roku is a very driven individual who is very much like his father in a lot of ways if you knew his past life, although one could argue that he is far less extreme in virtue than his father is. He is highly manipulative to the point of wanting to control everyone and puppeteer the strings. However he is a little conflicted himself in this manipulative nature to the point that he has to actively justify it in his mind as "this is how you raised me father". Another note is his keen desire for knowledge a sense of investigation to get to the truth.

Roku is well-known for his violent behavior and troublesome attitude. He began to hate all people who held themselves in a higher standard than what they truly were, hating those that puffed their chests to intimidate. He views most people that fit this stereotype as weak and useless, and normally will not bother with them. Roku has been described by many as "at first glance, he comes across as being a lazy sort, but... there's a strong sense of mischief in his eyes." He is quite relaxed most of the time as he occasionally skips out on things he finds boring, such as the usual meeting if he is ever required to participate. When fighting, he becomes brutal and has no qualms of hurting people who threatens him or any of his “subordinates” (friends).

Therefore, many people could say with his manipulative and seemingly self – centered nature, Rokurou is essentially a sociopath. While he does like some people, he has been known to state that for him what is valuable one day could easily become trash the next, and he will not hesitate to get rid of someone that seemingly is within his way academically or when it comes to combat. Though this is seemingly a conflicted personality it is all his true nature and a wonderful facade that he dwells behind until it is called for him to become of his true self and once again show his seeming “absolute” nature…



» Likes:

Winning: As Rokurou feels winning is only natural for him, he views anything less as becoming worthless and finds winning to be one of the only things that keeps him in a happy mood in his afterlife days once again striving just like in life for the absolute win.

Solitude: Rokurou was a man of solitude in his previously from his strives toward success and found that solitude was indeed peaceful and great to keep his mind in a state of paradise, therefore, even in the afterlife he seemingly strives for a sense of solitude attempting to handle things on his own or being on his own for most of the time during his day. He does converse with people though his time of doing this rare and in between.

Relaxing: This is a statement that needs no explanation for even the most busy body people enjoy relaxing though their turns of relaxation and those of someone more relaxed in nature may be, therefore, Rokurou's sense of relaxing is being by himself laying upon one of the many tall building and or that of walking around.

Mischief: As he has seemingly adopted more aspects to his personality Mischief is seemingly something that has sprouted within him during his afterlife years finding it to keep him rather entertained as he once again worked his way up the ladder of seeming power, he would find playing with his opponents and or just finding humor in other situations to have him in a sense of happiness that died within him many years ago.

Weaponsmithing: In his past life he served with his father creating weapons for their town and through his years he became a master crafter just as his father once did. Even in his current life as a demon he still appreciates the art.

Fraternizing: As he is a man that loves the mere idea and sensation of solitude, more this this feeling he loves fraternizing. He sees it not only as a chance to manipulate women just as one did to his father before he died, but also to bring them to their knees.

» Dislikes:
Losing: As winning to Rokurou is the absolute losing is something that he does not only dislike but absolutely loathes going to the most extreme when this transpires finding what seeming cog when out of order and swiftly eliminating that what he seems is a weakness to those around him. Therefore, he views losing isn’t an option and finds it to be his most “disliked” thing.

Boredom: This is his least favorite dislike that many people know of seeing as he just dislikes being bored always seemingly wanting to at least be entertained with the situation of which he was within, striving if not having it by coincidence to get it by force.

Manipulative Women: Well yes Rokurou finds sport of manipulating women to be fun and utterly amusing, he does not like women who do the same. While this is rather hypocritical of him and some demon women do it, he has this hatred because of his father's wife who had manipulated the man until she had took his life and his own with it.

Fate: Rokurou hates fate for many reasons, one of them being that too many people allow their lives to be taken by it. As someone who denies fate by continuing to live he curses the very idea of fate and denounces it.

Poor Craftsmanship: As a former black smith nothing pisses him off more than seeing a weapon poorly made or even a single knife made crudely. When seen it often sets him off into a rage that ends with him not only fixing the problem, but also using the solution to harm the offender.

Erebes: The two have a hate/love relationship that either would admit to. While the demon saved his life and gave him revenge, the centuries that past were a living hell with him. Rokurou admits to him being his new father, but when brought up in conversation he admits without hesitation that if he could he would end the life of the demon without hesitation.

» History "Do you want to die or gain revenge?"

These were the last words that Rokurou heard over one hundred years ago as he sat in a pool of his own blood watching his very life crumble before him. To know the story of Rokurou is to travel back into time during the Edo period, where is family or more specifically his father had been a well known blacksmith. Born in the cold winter's eve, Rokurou was a godsent to his father who had wanted a son to continue his legacy. Naming his son Rokurou, which stood for the seventh son, he took the boy into his arms swearing that he would become a better smith than he.

From the moment the boy could walk he had been on the move, watching his father and often hiding in his workshop watching as he worked. Each clang of the hammer against the metal was like a sweet lullaby to the male as he stared. The Gremory household had been alive with sound as the male often played with his father's old tools as if he had been a smith, and at the ripe age of ten he began apprenticeship under his father's close friend.

As the seasons changed, Roku had became an adept in the art of smithing earning the right at the age of fifteen to work by his fathers side. His works had caught the eye of many nobles who had often called him the second coming of his father, which to his father was a greater honor than money. The father and son's story continued until his mother had been stricken by illness, her heart failing and soon passed like a sweet sakura tree. The father had been so turned by the events that he succumbed to drinking, leaving Roku to run the forge. For two years the father sat in his home drunk and alone until one day a woman came by who slowly changed his life for the better.

While his father had finally found solace in a new woman, Rokurou however saw her as different. The way she acted, steering his father into paths and decisions that fared out in her favor caused the male to consider her a demon, a monster who wanted nothing more than the older mans riches. Their time together continued until his father had married the woman into the Gremory name, giving Rokurou two new brothers, both of which he did not like.

On one night Roku confronted his father saying that she was no good for him and that her sons were up to something in which his father dismissed it simply thinking he was being paranoid. As the days unfolded the new additions to his family tried to fight and beat him at every turn, often causing strife between himself and his father. It was no later than after his twentieth birthday that the worst had occurred. The family since the wedding had moved out into the country in a bigger house that could fit its own forge while the father also maintained the shop. On this night the mother and her sons had finally brought their plan to light.

As the moon hovered above the house, the mother fed the family all except her sons, the first to eat was his own father. As dinner progressed he began to cough up blood along with the food, his hands clawing at his neck as he turned to his wife, a sinister smile on her face. The vixen had poisoned his father and as Rokurou jumped to attack, he was met by the blades of his step-brothers who had cut him down. The three soon moved to grab all of the money and valuables hidden in the house as Rokurou stared at his fathers lifeless corpse and as he, his father's light slowly slipped into death in his own blood.

In his final moments he could feel the house burning like the furnace he once worked alongside his father in, cursing not only the woman but himself for not doing something about it sooner. As his sight slowly became blurry he could see the feet of a man standing in front of him, something darting behind him as it spoke,"Do you want to die or gain revenge?," the question caused his eyes to look up, gazing at the demonic male as he cried.

He didn't want to die like this. He didn't want to let this woman get away with ending his family and then doing it over and over. In his last breaths he said something that would set forth a new chain of events for him," Give it to me..I don't want to die." The demon smiling took his hand and nodded," A life for a life, your soul is mine. Now rise my puppet," as the smoke and ash filled the air the last words of the male were simple. "i'm sorry"

Darkness covered his sight before he blinked once. Twice. A third time before he felt his body healed and renewed, but different. Standing up he was amidst the burning rubble as the woman and her devil spawns sat watching. A fire lit in his eyes as he stormed out of the house, a rage inside of him as the doors flung open one of which crushed the eldest brother. Shocked they turned to the house to see the deceased male, his eyes staring at them while the demon behind him giggled.

In an instant it had been over as Rokurou held the woman in his hands, crushing the life from her body until he snapped her neck. Filled with the euphoria of revenge he turned to the house to watch it finish burning and he knew that he was the only one. As he turned to leave his grave, he was met with the opposition of the demon and stopped. The male shook his head and held his hand out towards his prize and grinned telling him simply that he had belonged to him, a demon reborn. At first he did not believe until he knew that he was alive because of him...because he sold his soul for revenge.

Now in the present, Rokurou has since then honed his time as a demon of this world under the tutelage of his "Father" Erebes. Though he no longer regrets the decisions of his distant past, he still holds the hatred of what had pushed him to his path to this day.

» Natural Abilities:
Body Manipulation: This is a natural ability that all demon's possess if they wish to activate it or perform it. Most Demon's have full control over every aspect of his physical make-up, able to stretch themselves to obtain insane heights such as being thirty foot tall, being able to change their skin color, having the ability to shape-shift into different people that they are able to remember and, on much more powerful levels, being able to even detach, generate or fuse body parts together in order to increase odds of surviving. Though, this does not occur until at least one tier, and even then it's weak compared to the 0 tier version.

Additionally, it can even be used for offensive or defensive purposes. For example, a demon can use Body Manipulation in order to generate a layer of steel-like skin around their body in order to increase their defense and block out outside sources from entering their body by clogging every pore on it. Or, for another instance, they could use it on the offensive side by hurling body parts at their opponent that are extremely hot and turn into acid blood, using their increased height to smash down on most opponents and the same may even apply for some more powerful demon's attacks; or finally, in an avoidance way, more powerful demon's could even control their body in order to be broken down into a liquid, wind or fire type form in order to gain more ways to escape or evade attacks.

Curse Effect: Curses are a natural to a demon and work somewhat like a decaying system. For instance, when a demon uses their Curse ability they can inflict sickness on any type of living or spiritual being which in turn can bring about illnesses within them, gradually drain them of their power and ultimately make it very hard for fighting due to the fact that this Curse Effect can eventually begin to heavily weaken the persons Reiygoku, Reaitsu and Physical body to the point where it would be well advised to seek medical attention before too long. However, that is not the only use of Curses. It can also be inflicted on a mental level depending on the persons Will Power Skill Sheet and can eventually begin to inflict insanity, madness, distracting thoughts and some succubus class skills.

Sacrificing Incantation: Sacrifices are something that are very unique to demons as there are thousands upon thousands of them that have many different effects, methods and steps. For instance, a small scale Sacrifice would be something like a demon spilling human blood in order to get a slight increase in his power for a short time. While on the other hand, if a demon were able to slaughter a mass population center, they would be able to gain more power such as in KQM Mana's case. Though, Sacrifices are NOT just for power. They can be used to increase intelligence, increase will, unlock hidden talents, give untold riches to the demon and so on and so forth. (There will be a list of available sacrifices as a demon can do very soon to accommodate this new power.)

Affinity For Hell: If a Demon ever gets the chance to foot into hell or has the skill level and power to summon it's presence on the battlefield, they can potentially increase their power by five times just by having it around them. In some instances, in fact, Demon's can even rise one tier level if enough consumes them for the duration of the thread they are in. This is due to the fact that there is a large amount of hellish energy within that place for Demon's to thrive on and it's filled with many hidden elements that were designed to overcharge a Demon in times of crisis. But, in addition to that, the presence of hell augments not only their power abilities but the inherent and magical abilities of said demon; giving improved versions of their abilities or completely new ones altogether.

Shadow Movement: This is what some MIGHT call the Demon's Answer to flash step: Shadow Movement. It allows them to move at quick burst of speeds on most occasions to allow them to travel very far distances in short amount of times, that is for certain. Though, this is where some similarities come to an end. Unlike most other races, Demon's get many nifty benefits then just Super Speed. Take this for example: from the seals on a demon's legs and feet that generate insane amounts of energy from all of the sources of power they collect; it will be able to give yourself temporary boost of intense speed called "Shadow Burst". Shadow Burst is a period of time where your demon will double their speed on average if they are at least adept. It will transition into how fast their attacks are created or launched, the demon's reaction time to increase the odds of evading, countering or noticing a person, object or anything else within a vicinity that has a prense in order to do something about it, it increases their mental awareness to more alert levels and it even goes into their natural powers.

For instance, one could use Shadow Burst together with The Art Of Demon Magic in order to create burst of accelerated healing in order correct injuries to your body at insane rates of speed during this period. Another example would be using Shadow Burst mixed with Za Koa in order to consume an area within it's presence much more quickly along with all of it's sub-abilities being accelerated. Finally, one last example would be for their special powers. For instance, if a demon could control fire they could generate, fire and reload it at double the speed they could before if they were adept. And, with that, that goes into their rates of speed in which they can perform these things.

If you were a beginner, you could only maintain this for one post only and would have a five post cooldown. Go to the next level and a demon will be able to double their strength, increase the amount they maintain this form to three posts and they typically only have a three post cooling period. Progress pass that to advance and a demon will be able to main this form for four post, triple their effects and will have about a two post cooldown. Along with that, at this level, they gain a new ability to Shadow Movement called "Force Speed" where they are able to effect the area around them on some levels. This includes being able to speed up objects, increase allying forces speed somewhat or even increasing the force of wind around them to do more critical damage.

Akuma Kyodo: Thanks to the full body seal most demon's have on their bodies from birth, Akuma Kyodo gives most Demon's a layer of defensive skin that is similar to an Arrancar's Hierro. This will be general defense, though if have a high Za Koa Skill, you can temporarily double your defense. Masters can do it for ten post, Advanced for seven, adept for four and beginners for two. All come with a three post cooldown. But that's where the similarities end, and the differences begin. What makes a demon's Akuma Kyodo: so different? Well, for instance, this layer of skin is not just applied physically like Arrancar's are or any other races natural defense. What makes a demon's defense stands out is that it applies to magic, spiritual attacks, their environments, how resistant they are to poisons or toxins and even how much their mental state improves.

You see, thanks to having so much magic being pumped into their bodies, their defense is MUCH more wide spread then any Shinigami, Arrancar or even Iramasha. Basically, the higher your defense is, the most attacks, barriers or ANYTHING in general; the more resilient you are to anything offensive being thrown at you. So a demon's Akuma Kyodo: is not something to scoff at, ignore or consider the same.

The Art Of Demon Magic: What exactly IS the Arts of Demon Magic? In a sense, you COULD call it the Demon's Kidō, but you'd be wrong as well. Why? Well, Demon Magic actually works like real MAGIC is suppose to. Of course, Kidō like spells, summons and barriers can be created with Demon Magic. That's a given. However, it can be taken MUCH further then that application. For instance, an advanced user in Demon Magic could use this in order to gain Telekinesis on a more light level. Even combat standards, if he were to look at an attack and see it coming, the Telekinesis would kick in and attempt to change it course if enough was generated from The Demon to negate it. Other example would be gaining Gyrokinesis in some cases in order to actual make it seem like they are toying with gravity itself; which in fact they are. Within a contained area, this demon could remove the gravity of some things, make it heavier in other places or even apply it to more focused objects like their attacks to cause more impact force.

Not only that, but an even higher example of that is that some demon's with a Master in this would be able to even create things out of thin-air with no explanation what so ever. For example, a Master in The Art Of Demon magic could defy the laws of physic's by actually making energy cease in something and remove it. This may not seem like much, but it's actually an amazing feat as the laws of physic's clearly states energy can never be erased. However, in terms of combat, in order to do this they would need to overpower it. Another situation in which you could get a taste of Demon Magic would be them turning your energy attack into a batch of living snakes, them creating fields of anti-spiritual barriers around them or just making themselves plain invisible.

Now, performing magic is vastly possible thanks in part to connection most Demon's have to Za Koa. However, thanks to the varying seals scattered throughout a demon's body at birth by Touketsu's DNA, it is possible for them to even use the Magic without Za Koa's connection. You see, these seals are constantly gathering energy from their surroundings. From every attack, from every environment, from every power increase; these seals gather and store power for a demon to use. There is even an ascended state to unleash all of this collective energy, but that is not in this section. Instead, this is about how demon magic works in general. As stated previously, Demon's can perform magic with or without Za Koa. But, for some demon's, they are able to merge both of these together in order to double the strength of all of their spells or anything having to do with demon magic.

Despite all of this wonderful stuff, however, its biggest drawback in demon power is the power itself. What does this mean? Well, if you don't have resources, power, sacrifices or anything else to carry out your spell, it will in turn cause great damage to you for however much energy you tried to perform. An example of this would be a weakened demon who drained his resources trying to perform a large scale demon spell, only succeeding in heavily wounding himself along with producing a very weak version of whatever spell or magic technique he was trying to perform. Another drawback is that is can sometimes be countered with other types of magic such as Kidō, Chaos Energy or Sugiura Spells.

Lightning Arc: Taught by his demon, Rokurou has gained the ability to create lightning to use his various attacks.

Enhanced Strength: Rokurou through his previous life as a smith and now as a demon has given him heightened strength. While certain weapons may require someone to use two hands, he can use it with one hand with ease.

» Unique Abilities:
Diosu Tyukosu, Axe of Lightning : A medium-range but powerful Lightning attack that Rokurou created after becoming a demon. He uses this by making a downward-sweeping motion and hits the target with a massive electrical attack that once it strikes a target it creates an explosive area that shocks the target. User creates a ball of lightning and using magic manipulation, creates the axe or halberd like structure that crashes into the enemy. Its damage is based on his Demon Magic level and the shocking aspect can be ignored by those that are two tiers or higher than he is.

Kiriakipuru Asutorapē, Thousand Thunderbolts: An extremely destructive, wide-range technique, widely considered to be among the most versatile in nature in his arsenal. Because of its wide area of effect, typically the Thousand Thunderbolts is reserved for use against entire armies at once unless focused. The attack is created by the user charging his magic into the tips of his finger through his arms, and with a thrust of his hand creates the thunderbolts which are six meters in length and two meters in width. Though the name describes it as a thousand thunderbolts, in reality he can only at max achieve ten normally (two from each finger on a respective hand). Though his max is only ten, at Master of his Demon Magic he can upgrade this to one hundred. Using this technique twice tires him out and a third time drains him off all of his magic and requires him to rest. Strength of the thunderbolts scale off of his Demon Magic.

Byakuraishō , White Lightning Palm: Rokurou channels lightning through his body, the lightning pouring from every inch of his body and flickering. In this attack he uses the lightning as an offensive manner, taking the fight directly to his opponent. The lightning has the strength of his Demon Magic. Though a useful offensive maneuver, he can only keep this up for three posts and for each additional post its potency goes down a rank.

Devil's Weaponsmith: This allows Rokurou to summon four unique weapons, A Katana, Lance, Scythe and twin pistol. Each are based off his strength for their health and damage. He can only summon as many weapons as his Weapon Skill allows (So at Beginner he can only summon the Katana, at Adept the Lance and Katana, so on and so forth) While he can do this endlessly, he cannot use all of them at once. Rokurou must wait two posts to switch between weapons once unlocked, and can use his abilities through them.
