Personality: Akiha is normally seen in a serious mood. She is seen doing her work mostly. Though she's also seen following the captain around as well. She prefers not to be social, as she can sometimes be a snob. She will follow her orders as long as she can unless it involves harming her family. Kyoukai, Ritsuka, Yukiko, Tsubine, Soi Fong, Shiki, and Kusano are what drives her. She values them above her duty as a Shinigami and will stop at nothing to see them safe.

In battle, Akiha is seen as being an observer. She doesn't normally fight head-on unless she is ordered to or directly challenged. When she actually does fight, however, she's almost a different person. She still has her serious personality, but she becomes almost emotionless. She only smiles when she's about to land a major attack or kill the opponent. She prefers not to use her Shikai, simply because it's almost as if she takes on a different personality. Actually, it is true. Kangeki is dominant when in Shikai while Kangai is dominant when not released. When in Shikai, she goes for the throat, heart, face, and stomach to attack. When normal, she goes for the arms, legs, and neck to immobilize or quickly kill the target.

Akiha doesn't usually wear the shinigami uniform. Instead, she's seen in what can only be classified as a modification to the academy uniform. The difference is that it's more western in appearance. She wears a red bow to keep the uniform together. However, this is just an acceptance of her noble roots, as she has decided to stay with her biological father. Akiha has long jet-black hair that extends to her waist. She normally does not tie it up or anything, though she has in the past. She keeps a hairband in her hair for most of the day, only taking it out to sleep and to shower. The band itself was made by her father himself, so it's quite special to her. Her eyes are a royal blue with a slight teal tint.

Sealed Zanpakutou: Her Zanpakutou is kept sealed as a dagged for most of the time. She doesn't like for people to see her Zanpakutou in its normal form. The dagger is about a foot long and its handle is exquisite. Part of it is mahogany done in a twisting manner. Around that is pure gold with lines of small garnets in it. However, this is only one of the three sealed forms. When she undercover or at formal events, the sword takes the form of a sword pendant. It has two wings that are done like an angel's. It also has the style of an elongated Fluer de Lis. In the center, there is a large garnet that has been rounded off. The final form is her katana form. The handle is royal blue with a bit of gold covering the front. It has a small container for a general antidote for poisons on the hilt. She carries it on her left side when she has it in katana form.

Other Weapons: Though she doesn't normally carry them around, Akiha has four Zanbatou that were crafted by her father's best swordsmiths. They have no powers, but they are extremely deadly. She normally only uses them for display pieces though.

Zanpakutou Spirit


Zanpakutou Spirit Appearance: Akiha's Zanpakutou spirits are known as Kangeki and Kangai. Both are polar opposites of one another. The odd thing? They share the same body. Kangai is known as the "good" side of the pair and Kangeki is the "evil" side.

Zanpakutou Spirit Personality: Kangai is sweet young man. He abhors blatant fighting, though he will fight for his own moral justice. He is kind to Akiha and acts like the morally-obligated younger brother. Kangeki, on the other hand, is an asswipe. He treats Akiha terribly and will do anything to piss her off. He acts like the terrible older brother that most guys dont' want to be like. He loves violence and the only thing he loves more is when Akiha releases her Zanpakutou.

Zanpakutou Spirit's World:

Akiha's inner world is...bland to say the least. It has only a single building in it and that is a derelict Japanese shrine. The stones that lead to the shrine are covered in grass and weeds and the trees are starting to die. The sky is a crimson color thanks to the large garnet-colored moon overhead.

Shikai

Shikai Name: Kurenai Sekishu (紅赤朱;Crimson Red Vermillion)

Shikai Description: Akiha's swords completely disappear. This is something odd, as normally Shikai takes the form of a weapon. Instead, her weapons are her fingernails. They are reinforced by the reitsu and reishi that made up her sword, making them hard as hell to break. Each one is like a new knife: extremely sharp. Akiha herself goes through the most drastic change. Instead of gaining an arm or armor or something, her hair changes colors. It turns into a crimson-like color, which makes her eyes stand out more.

Shikai Abilities:

Kago-Ke(かごけ; Caging Hair): An ability of Akiha's Zanpakutou; it is a cursed field of plundering that is effective in the range of her field of vision. She can "plunder" the heat (lifeforce) from a living creature she can see, but the maximum output relies on time (on how long she keeps plundering heat). Akiha can start up the plundering once she has confirmed her target, and people who have a spiritual perception will see it as red strands wrapping around the target and charring it down. It does not actually burn the target, as it doesn't affect the target's clothes and stops burning as soon as Akiha stops plundering lifeforce from the target. At its maximum (5 posts of uninterrrupted "plundering"), the red strands cover the target as well as the entire area the target is in, making it impossible to escape - hence the name, caging hair. The hairs extend and wrap everything in crimson, but normal eyes can neither see nor touch it. It is an absolute offensive ability against a normal person who doesn't have any spiritual defense, but it won't be any more of a hindrance than a large spider web to someone with a spiritual status on a whole different league such as a Captain or an Espada. Although, with support, she could use it as shackles to restrain beings of that level.

Tokeru Ketsueki (とけるけつえき; Melty Blood) A unique ability involving Akiha's fingernails. After she draws blood, the person's blood can be copied. However, it doesn't have the same reitsu signature therefore blood control techniques are moot against Tokeru Ketsueki. However, the main point of this attack is to create claws of blood on the tips of her fingers. The blood is constantly being produced from under her fingernails, therefore giving her enough blood to fight until she literally doesn't have enough reitsu to create more.A unique ability of this is the ability to remove pathogens from the blood. If someone has, for example, HIV then Akiha could remove it from the blood she creates. However, she can also re-add it. If she strikes a person with their own blood, she can only add the pathogens that he or she already had.
