The time is currently 2:00 CST time on April 2nd, 2416. This thread is taking place above the atmosphere of ANGOLA. Currently, there are hundreds of chunks of the Vanguard's space debris beginning to fall over the country. The objective is to prevent them from creating a stratosphere and use any and all means to cease these projectiles which are acting like kinetic rods.

«MANA'S CALL TO THE WORLD»
If there is not a response to this thread within a week, then a good deal of damage, death and destruction is going to happen within this country

Frigging. Africa. There was no real reason why she disliked the place, but it just didn't mesh with her. Something about the air, it was unique to the rest of the world, to her at least. Maybe that was to do with the way she breathed, her lungs like the rest of her, strange and unique in all the world. So her lungs and the African air were very much alike, which was probably why she didn't like it. She was unique, and so the air was stepping on her toes.
The fact that debris was currently shooting towards the Earth at omfgwtfbbq speeds intent on destruction and disbondancy probably also had something to do with it. And here she was, without any sort of artliery, or ranged technique, or ability to properly fly. Why she was here was quite the curiosity. It had something to do with her hearing about the debris coming to wipe out this place, and nobody seeming to move in that direction, and an inability to watch people die, culminated with a need to punch things really hard. It was a good chance to test out her Void Dance though. She got ahold of the Seretei Presence in the area, and communicated with them while preparing herself to get onto the same stage as the debris.
"So, any chance of getting some help out here?" She asked, the last word forced out as she sprung upwards with all her considerable might, rocketing into the air, and kicking it with immense force when she began to slow down, sending her further into the sky and up to meet with the deadly bits of death coming. If she could line it up properly, Mirja would try to grab the the furthest bit of debris, and throw it into the rest of the debris. Or as much as it could clutter, at least. Bunched up as it would be, the air resistance would increase, and she could try snipe it all with a hotshot from Beowulf.
Best Laid plans of mice and men, however....

Mirja hurtled towards the debris, hearing nothing about any sort of reinforcements, so she decided to do her best with this debris the only way she could, bit serious punches gallore. She specifically aimed for the bit at the far end of the cluster, and managed grab hold of it as it rocketed past. Then, taking a few seconds to aim - and being accutely aware of the ground hurtling towards her - she kicking her bit towards the rest of the bits, with intense force. The Debris shattered immidiately, but then, like a shotgun, pinballed the rest of it, making it all a ball of broken moon bits. The amalgamation did as she thought, and the vastly increased surface area caused it to lose velocity like opening a parachute.
This, gave Mirja the oppertuinity to kick off, soring below it, before releasing Beowulf's full state, and drawing in as much of the surrounding Light as she could manage, compressing it into a wide-swath Heat-Beam and push the heat as far as it would go, putting all her energy into this one shot. Eventually, a white-hot beam shot from her palm, a loud hiss following in it's wake as it spontaniously burned off all the water in the atmopshere. Hitting the metal, it engulfed it in a roar of heat, vaporising the Debris, and saving the city of Angola from the falling Death. Mirja took a few seconds to woop in victory, and then the ground said hello.
