Artist:Dynasty Warriors 7 OST - Song:Cyclonized Typhoon- Word Count: 2051

Dellapero charged forward, setting himself up to be countered without issue from a more skilled adversary, especially in hand-to-hand combat. Skill wasn't the thing he tended to rely on when the chips were down. Rather, he persevered through adaptability and relentless tenacity. His strike was diverted by a single hand, missing its mark and gliding past Azuma's head. The moment their hand moved to defend from the punch, the rest of his body had already started to move. His green-spiral eyes picked up on every move in almost super-slow motion, able to track the slightest twitch of muscle. In the hands of someone intelligent, that kind of reaction time that could even accurately measure movements when people were at their fastest would be terrifying to face.. Unfortunately he wasn't that intellectual type to make the most of this talent. He shifted his feet, working with the momentum pushing him forward in preparation for a completely ridiculous and out of the box attack to follow up the failed strike.

Only that moment would never come. While he did have a way to follow up the strike, dodging the coming attack in the state he was in wasn't a possibility. His body shifted to the right, but was unable to evade the attack entirely. thanks to his own momentum working against him. The double-palm strike struck him, sending a jolt of immense physical force through his body from the strength of the blow and his own speed working in tandem to break through that point in his body. Safe to say it knocked the wind out of him, destroying the immense speed he had gathered and sending him flying back in the opposite direction. The tumble-like motion he was going for at the last minute even caused his body to spin in an almost hilarious manner, and the angle he moved resulted in his rag-dolling body to arc slightly to the right. The full force of the attack didn't sink in until the moment flesh met stone. Grance's body clashed with the stone wall at the very end of the underground arena. He could feel several bones crack from the impact, a jet of blood forced from his throat and out of his mouth from bouncing off the infinitely dense surface. Pain coursed through every cell in his body for a moment, the added weight constricting him making the impact that much worse.

He wasn't expecting to meet that kind of force from a wall of rock, but maybe it was a good thing he did. Though multiple fractures riddled his body from the combined impacts, it was just another trigger to force him to fight even harder sooner than later. Despite still being shaken by the impact, he moved to react to the next coming assault without hesitation and with even grander power than the failed strike a moment ago! A spark of green electricity rippled around him,his body as a whole becoming denser and more durable in response to the attack. It was a slow change, but started immediately as soon as he met the powerful counter-attack only a split second ago. The Vanguard operative's eyes picked up on Azuma's charge. Rather than try to dodge while up against the wall and recovering from a serious impact, he chose the opposite approach. Dellapero stepped forward, swinging his fist forward to meet the first open palmed strike head on! While he didn't have the same speed as before, his strength was more than ample enough to contend with any opposition. The air around his fist twisted around it, steam spilling from his knuckles from the friction imposed between the strike and everything around it. The strike met Azuma's open palm at the mid-way between them, clashing the ever-growing strength of the Human against the immeasurable power of the Vzard's strike. A veil of destruction spilled out from the point of impact, shattering the ground and causing it to sink even further down.

If the coming onslaught continued? Grance would meet it with his own. A barrage of powerful punches rained forward, not aiming to glide past the coming assault and hit his foe, but meet every attack with a firm and increasingly destructive punch. It would become perfectly clear in any kind of encounter like this what was happening. Each punch that connected, the speed and power of the next would increase ever-so-slightly. Exchange after exchange, fist for fist, the changes mounted. By the end of the exchange a small, but clear difference could be felt between the first punch and the last. It was slow, but definite. The act only shifted when the final attack of the act loomed overhead. The Unknown instantly shifted their body, targeting the now=exposed leg amid the coming axe-kick. Their body lowered, a swift sweeping kick gliding across the ruined earth and coming to knock Azuma off of their feet and end their assault in its finale. The end would hopefully be the axe kick completely missing its mark and the Vizard being forced off their feet in a single move.

That was only the start of Dellapero's counter-attack though. He continued to move along with the sweeping motion, quickly pushing himself back to a stand, providing his efforts were successful. His hand quickly reached for the leg used for the prior axe-kick presuming Azuma was knocked off balance at the least. Or in the event they weren't, he'd absorb the impact of the kick through his hand and fracture several of his fingers. In any outcome, the Human's hand aimed to tightly grip that limb while he continued to spin. If the kick didn't knock them off their feet, what happened next likely would. The Unknown shifted his sweeping kick into a complete rotational spin of his entire body! He pulled on Azuma's leg alongside the motion to carry them with him . The first rotation was the slowest, but was still filled with an excess of speed and power from the swordsman's adjustments. After the first spin, the rate they moved drastically increased, the underground arena becoming nothing but a blur as the spin got faster and faster, ripping apart the ground beneath and creating a cyclone of kinetic energy in the pit.

After three more spins, te rate they were moving was faster than any tilt-a-whirl ride any had experienced. The G-force was rising in excess to levels that would even start to rip apart flesh and crack bones on an ordinary warrior. The momentum stacked, resulting in the world becoming nothing but a mesh of indistinguishable color Though thanks to Dellapero's adaptations to this unique form of attack, his eyes were tracing the world almost perfectly even in such a chaotic maneuver. The Human pushed forward while his body continued to spin, hopefully still holding his target as well and keeping them well away from the ground. The tornado of speed darted forward, Grance adjusting his body so the transformed Vizard would be heading straight for the ground! He intended to smash them through the earth itself, using his increasing power and momentum to easily carve through the ground using Azuma's body and inflict blunt trauma against their entire upper-body. This wasn't a one time thing though. If Azuma was unable to escape the hold? Dellapero would keep spinning while moving forward, bashing the Shinigami's entire body into the ground over and over, leaving mark after mark from each impact and -still- gaining more speed at steady rate.

It would reach its conclusion when the process was interrupted, or Grance managed to drill all the way to the other end of the arena with the friction-augmented wall on the other side. In a best case scenario, he would aim Azuma perfectly at speeds well over that of the sound barrier. The augmented senses that filled his body gave him the tools needed to aim the cyclone perfectly and throw Azuma right toward the wall head-first at speeds that could very well cause their body to ignite from the friction of the air against them. The impact would be devastating, sending shock-waves through the earth for miles and creating tremors even in the capital city so-far away. Yet, even -that- was the least of Azuma's problems if the Unknown's counter-attack was successful.

Not a moment later, the tornado of momentum continued moving the short distance forward. The man's body was completely indistinguishable at these speeds, using his newly defined sword style for purposes it was never intended. When in range, Dellapero swung out his leg, casting the ultimate spinning kick for Azuma while they were against the wall. The speed he gathered over all that distance would be thrust toward his adversary's lower-stomach. The kick lit up, flames encompassing it from the heat of friction reacting to such a swift and powerful force. If it were to hit its mark? The kick very well had the power to rip through most opponents entirely, cutting through flesh like a blade and splitting a person's body in two! Normally such a lethal attack wasn't his style, but given his means to heal and the mood he was in, it was permit-able here. He didn't intend to kill them, but a direct hit from a strike like that could take most souls out of a fight immediately. It was unlikely even the augmented walls of stone braced by friction could fully withstand the force of the kick..And likewise?

Dellapero couldn't either.

Whether it hit its marks or not, the impact of the strike would cause many bones in his left-leg to fracture and crack. Pain flooded through him once more, but was blurred by the excess of adrenaline in his blood. It wasn't uncommon for Grance to assert so much force in an attack that it caused harm to his own body in the process, and this was a perfect example of it. An explosion of force spilled at the point of impact, the ground sinking down and an even grander earthquake spilling into the surrounding area from the impact,. His body was sent flying back from the force after it connected, his leg burned up and the clothing around the leg brought to ash as well. He moved backwards at insane speeds,, his entire body in some degree of pain from such an insane transfer of force coming to an end so abruptly. The man would endure it though. His feet slid against the ground, more nerves in him flaring from immediately combating more forces with his injured leg. He came to a stop, a veil of dust spilling out around him from the kick's explosion and the ground spiting from his feet dragging against it. He remained still for a moment, on full alart after the brutal opening act to see what the result would be.

Artist: Undertale OST - Song: Your Best Friend - Word Count: 914

Everything seemed to work . . until it didn’t. The vizard’s previous attacks had hit until the male had managed to disrupt the flow of his fight, his foot being swept out from under him, while his eyes widened visibly before he was taken for a tilt a whirl of a ride, round and round they went. The speed and power building up even beyond what was considered to be something he would do , specifically in a spin, yet the Human hadn’t even taken it into account, even after having seen his other attacks hit with satisfying results, fist slammed against fist previously each punch getting stronger than the last, to the point that the cataclysmic explosions that extended through the areana seemed to increase even more then they had previously, so mere thunderclaps became like nuclear fallout, their rumbling roars filling everything and everything and in the midst of this all out brawl? The vizard felt such excitement, his blood pumped and he was roaring with anticipation, all of this was immense, it was masterful, it was truly a worthy fight between two people that absolutely worshiped a good fight and well . .

That caught things up to the present, where currently Azuma had been slammed into the ground or atleast that was what would look like it would happen, the males body quickly twisting to allow his palm to slam into the ground muscles flexing as the resounding immense crash would free the male allowing him to forcibly remove his leg from the males body or tried as he was hammered again and again against the ground, a feat that would harm most and shatter bone, but for him? It merely bruised as the male was quite different in this state, his body was on another level than his normal self, making it so that even as the immense trauma hit him he was able to take it, before he eventually was thrown, his body hurtling towards the wall, his mouth releasing a snarl as his entire body muscles straining, veins bulging; had managed to flip and land on the wall however the male wasn’t thinking about the wall that shattered beneath his feet.

No he wasn’t thinking about how his hair whipped about and his eyes narrowed into slits as he growled the crater increasing as he resisted. No he didn’t think about any of that as in crystal clear clarity a spinning kick came from his opponent. No instead he resisted, resisted the backlash and pushed more and more, all that kinetic force building in his body before he jerked forward and at the last second managed to grasp the spinning kick, the force making his bones creak and his muscles groan before he had using it like a gymnast used a bar spun using the momentum to deliver a viscous double spinning axe kick to the side of the face, his arms spiraling around as the spinning kick further augmented his fighting style allowing him to slam into the male his own bruised and battered body showing as he practically roared , still not using his supernatural powers given it wasn’t the point of this fight, the twin kicks timed so there would be a near impossibility in avoiding them but that wouldn’t be the fun of it.

Nay the fun would be the amount of force behind them , enough that the male had to harden the walls of the arena further to keep the kick that could have cleaved a clean line through a mountain thanks to all the augmentative force that he had gained from his opponents own rotation, and most likely? It would send his opponent flying through the air as if he was a bullet to smash into the wall, however this time? The kinetic force would be enough just like delaporo’s had been enough to shatter the wall this one would be enough to shatter the wall that had been enhanced via friction manipulation even FURTHER than what it had been previously , sweat flying from azuma’s brow as he landed on the ground , specifically on his hind foot toes digging into the ground, shattering earth, as he resisted and forced himself forth, feet digging into the ground as he seemed to manage to keep up with delaporo, his body actually from speed alone passing the male who in that moment would have been going beyond mach 1, and appeared behind him.

Now what did he do then? Well it was quite simple since he wanted this fight to keep going he wished to do this the proper way, a fair and square fight and so? The male would have caught the male, taking the entire brunt of the unknown’s body, the kinetic force, everything and anything as his feet screeched his own body managing to only move an inch, but internally his body was screaming in pain, the wicked chuckle that left the males mouth being one of excitement since, it had been a long time since he had managed to feel this way, hence as the male had then set the other down his own body showing red splotches from where already his body was beginning to mend itself, but the ground behind the ring? That would explode fractures expanding for miles around that had atleast been a mile in depth, the Dark’s expression remaining neutral as he had leaned against a wall and fanned himself some, rivulets of sweat dripping down his form while he had grinned and said in a bemused tone. . .

”..I think i won this round, you lug. “

Artist:DWO OST - Song:Great Red Spirit- Word Count: 1783

Dellapero acted more on instinct than anything. He had no plan in the moves he made, following his gut every spin of the way. Of course in the midst of his counter-attack, he was immediately met with resistance! He could feel the resistance from Azuma amid his rapid spinning. However, he was expecting that and reacted immediately. His grip on their leg tightened drastically, the power he pushed toward the continuation of the destructive arc magnified in an effort to shatter their attempt to escape the hold. his grip was almost crushing, fingers pressing into it with enough might to damage muscle and bone of a less durable adversary. Driven by adrenaline and his conviction, the Human soldier of the Vanguard spiraled toward the end of the Colosseum of stone. The throw went off without issue, smashing his opponent into the wall with the force of a dragon. It was at that moment he thought this may have been the end already. The spinning kick being sent their way had more than ample force to drive a person out of a fight, and into a fatality if the battle had evolved into that sort of thing.

In the climax of the counter, there was a surprising flare of resistance to stop the devastating attack in its tracks and flip the entire scene around! The Superhuman's ability to pick up on things in practically slow motion picked up on the Vaizard's movement. just as the Unknown's leg was about to ignite before contact, his leg was grabbed, the strength behind it used as a means to hoist his foe's body into the air with another attack to meet him moment's before the kick connected. Unfortunately, one of the flaws in his unique means of fighting is that, while it allowed him to gather insane amounts of power behind an attack, defending from that position where an adversary managed to get inside his circle was less than easy. With virtually no distance between the wall and himself, as well as his own momentum working to prevent him from changing direction so abruptly, there was little to be done. The defensive properties of the spin were linked to the twin blades that worked alongside it, something that he lacked access to in unarmed combat.

Dellapero raised his arm to block the incoming assault, reacting before the attack had even begun. However, even with this ability to take immediate action, he was unable to position his arm in a manner to block the entire blow. One foot connected with his arm, sending a surge of force through the appendage that caused his bones to strain and crack. His muscles caved inwards from the force of it long before the other leg hit its intended mark. Though he absorbed a lot of force generated by momentum through his arm, suffering heavy damages to the limb in the process, the direct hit was still devastating. His face consorted from the strike, his jaw cracking and multiple teeth on the side of his mouth that was struck were shattered and dislodged. Fragments of bone spilled from his mouth, the combined force of the remaining leg and the momentum breaking through the speed he had gathered and sending him on a 180- trip back the way he had come. The arc of his spin caused this to carry a spin-like nature to it as well, his body twisting in the opposite direction and his entire body being strained from the impact. The right side of his mouth was destroyed and a giant bruise was left where the ax connected. His eye started to swell and the pain-receptors across his body flared.

However, even after an attack like that, he was far from done. Grance twisted through the air, using the very momentum he had gathered to help him gain control of himself. in fact, he twisted his body to add even more of a spin to the predicament he was in. His emerald eyes still picked up on the immediately approaching Azuma as well. No doubt they were going to follow through with this for some sort of wombo combo to bring the battle to a close! The operative slammed his foot into the ground once he had gathered control over the spin. An explosion of force s;lit the earth, sharp debris scattered in every direction from the impact and continuing to spill out as his foot carved the landscape in two. Immense pressure was placed against him, both from the ground and the momentum he worked to suppress as his foe got closer. He used the spin he created to not only drive his foot into the ground, but do so multiple times. While the arc would cause his foot to only clash with the earth for a few moments, it also allowed him to slam his second foot into the ground a fraction of a moment later, creating yet another explosion of power to make it more difficult for Azuma to close in and drastically reduce his speed with each connection. This process repeated several times, leaving the landscape in ruin, but quickly doing away with the kinetic force he was opposing and giving him control of his body!

Once his speed died down to a manageable point, Dellapero moved up-right, slamming both feet into the ground seconds before he would meet the wall. The remained force was divided one last time, only a small fragment of it causing him to keep moving at a slower pace. His shoes dragged against the ground, a storm of dust kicked up in his wake. Though he was completely unaware of what the Vaizard was trying to do with their pursuit and wasted a lot of effort slowing himself down just for them to come up behind him and try to stop his impact before he hit the wall.

...Well, that was weird for an opponent to do. Maybe he misinterpreted things a little amidst his frustrations from the war. Regardless, he still had a battle to win to keep this place safe.

So much in fact that the Vanguard operative quickly pressed off the ground with his torn up feet and opted to escape the hold while spinning around to face his presumed attacker again. His arm was badly damaged, muscles pulled, bones cracked, and the side of his face almost destroyed. It was a good thing he wasn't self-conscious about his looks, because he probably mirrored two-face right now, The Human breathed deeply, ready for another attack to come his way. He adjusted his posture, moving as if the wounds across his body weren't even hindering him. He moved through the pain and resistance his appendages gave him. He spit up a large mass of blood coming from his damaged maw, fragments of bone from the ruined teeth mixed in with the crimson. The arm he used to block with appeared pitch black now from the former impact. Still it was raised and ready to lash out when things kicked off again. Even with the wound, the power behind it was about to drastically increase, and that was true for every part of his being.

" Round? You don't mean the fight is already over, right?? This has been a great warm up, but I'm just getting started! I do have to say though, my dentist is going to be a very happy man after that. I'll give you the credit when that day comes around. "

The Unknown took in a deep breath, blood flowing down his jaw from the wound. Slowly the bleeding would stop, his regenerative properties taking place to slowly but surely undo some of the wounds that had been inflicted. Some of the bruises from the first exchange in their battle had faded away, but the more severe damages attained in that devastating counter a moment ago would take some time to properly heal. He uttered two words to himself, traces of green spiritual energy spilling out from his clothing as he recited them.

"Release restraints!"

A surge of energy spilled out from his clothing. A massive weight was lifted from his body, givining him full control over his real strength and speed. The wave of energy was entirely harmless if it were to be touched, but the seal it maintained had been shattered. Several dozen tons of weight were lifted from his body. A feeling of weightlessness encompassed him, his body's natural weight was non-existent compared to the enormous restraint he carried on his shoulders twenty-four hours a day. His muscles buldged outward, expanding now that they were no longer bound by such encumbering restraints. There was no apparent increase in his spiritual power, but just by looking at the rising definition of his muscles, it was clear he had just become vastly stronger and more agile in a matter of seconds. His eyes were honed on Azuma, the sparks of green having completely dissipated. There was no longer a need for him to adapt and become stronger. He now grasped at more than enough unwavering strength to match any opposition he could be met with.

" Ah..That feels -so- much better! Now, lets get the real fight started!"

He beckoned Azuma to come forth with his hand. As intense as the battle was a moment ago, it was only a pale shadow of the real fight dawning ahead of them.
