Name of the Race: The Lun'Ar

Summary:

How long have they existed?: Around 300+ years.

What the Lun'Ar are a sub-race of, and How To Become One: The Lun'Ar originated from humans, but due to the corruption of the void and difference of their souls from others, they are outcasts and seen as inhuman and even hunted like animals. Due to their origins, children born from humans corrupted by the void are rather obviously, are one in the same. One cannot immediately become a Lun'Ar after living a normal life, but must be born one. A human that has been corrupted by the void or another Lun'Ar will be able to parent a Lun'Ar.

Nameable/Upgradable Weapon: A weapon that all Lun'Ar receive, which has no official name. This is due to the Lun'Ar not giving these weapons names. They allow the wielder to names their weapons. However, the name is not the most powerful thing that is a part of these weapons. The name is actually just something that allows a Lun'Ar to make their weapons unique. It does not copy a Shinigami's Zanpakutō. A Lun'Ar's weapon is, for the most part, completely customizeable. They can choose upgrades and add-ons to their weapon, with the price being Yen. However, only the current leader(s) of the Lun'Ar are able to bestow something like this. The weapon's default form takes the form of a rapier, however, it seems to look much more futuristic. With an energy blade, the Lun'Ar are able to pour a small portion of their Void Energy capacity into the weapon, allowing the blade of the weapon to be any color and shape the wielder wants. This sword is, in short, a conduit for Void Energy that can be used to form a more physical and solid form of Void Energy.

Race History:

The Void Project. Where everything began. A group of mysterious individuals began a single, prime quest for mankind. To create the ultimate breed of warrior. They would have no fear. They would be the strongest warriors that humanity had ever seen. All they had to do….was test them. But first, before the testing….they needed human subjects. However, they knew that humans most likely refuse their offers. So….they lured them in. However, there was one that would gather an immense amount of humans. A woman named Lune. What she used to gather humans for the project….was her voice. Her voice lured in humans at the masses. They were hypnotized by her voice. They gathered humans at the hundreds. They had a total of 200, or even more humans to test on. Which would be the ones? Who would survive? These mysterious people were eager to find out.

With their test subjects, the mysterious group now had to make a testing room for their guinea pigs. An isolated space within the Void. A space entirely made for this test. It looked just the same as normal civilization. However, with some differences. The first one was that the test subjects could not leave the small town they now lived in. If they tried, they would be warned with a zap to the rear with a blast of Void Energy. However, they had no need to leave. Within the small town was everything they would ever need. A store, homes, friends, family, everything. They were not treated unkindly. They were not abused. They were treated like normal people. The group’s goal was not to abuse and break them. Their goal was to test their compatibility with The Void’s powers. How? By remaining within the Void, their bodies would begin to adapt to their surroundings. What does this mean? The Void would slowly enter their body. Not at a point where they would notice it. Just in small amounts.

However, humans cannot live forever.

Even within the Void, humanity could never live forever.

The creator’s children had taken the job to watch over these people. Due to one of the Creator’s descendants being in the void her whole life, she was unaware of its essence taking hold of her. When her child was born, it was...different. The woman was known only as the Eve to the people in the void from now on. Her family, along with her, was banished to the void project. Her son grew up like a human, he spoke like one, acted like one. So what was different? When the creators finally decided to find out, they found the boy was capable of taking on an odd shell made of void energy, melding to his skin and forming technology and energy unique to him. His name….was Excalibur.

The first perfect Lun’Ar was born.
