» Name: The records for this hollows real name is lost under the other countless car accident reports over the last few centuries meaning that she is good as forgotten. That doesn't stop this lonely mother for making a name for herself as a hollow; she would have never thought that the most popular title humans have given her would be her new found name. Ren, a name originating in japan goes by many meanings; the initial Ren (蓮) being that for 'Lotus'. As for why people have given this name for her was because of the abundance of lotuses that blooms whenever she visits the recently grieving. As mentioned before Ren has multiple meanings, the second Ren (恋) meaning 'Love'. This is the main reason why the hollow prefers to be referred as this since both can fit her so well. Ren (蓮) being the black and red lotuses she gives to her customers and Ren (恋) referring to the love they have for her victims.

» Titles: As mentioned when talking about her name; Ren has been given multiple names before she settled down on Ren. Due to her living for so long and never giving people names for the beginning of her adventures people would consider her a witch or a ghost; the ghost not being so incorrect. If Ren had to pick a favourite title before her current name it would be a name given to her after the huge war. People started to call her the Ghost of Lost Souls this was because she would give back their lost loved ones during such an impactful period. The other variation of that name being "The Witch Of Lost Souls" would be due to a misunderstanding of her past creating a fake image of those who heard of her. It was also understandable that a she would be labeled a witch for 'bringing back the dead'.

» Age: If someone were to ask Ren what her age was she wouldn't be able to answer with much certainty; her memories of her human life is rather hazy and all she can remember is the pain it brought. That means her age wasn't really saved in her memory bank, but what she does know that she was in her late twenties and that the world looked very different then the world now. If she were to estimate the time she spent as a hollow and the technology differences it would pretty much 400 years in the past.

» Gender: Female

» Association: Many hollows are known to be connected to a person or place in particular; however Ren is a tad different. The person she was deeply connected too isn't apart of the living world anymore so being connected to a person is out of the question. And if you were to talk about being connected to a specific place; one could say that all bodies of water does count, but for Ren she feels as if she is connected to all suffering of a lost loved one. This means she is associated with every broken heart due to a sudden death; it doesn't mean if the person is a protagonist or Antagonist she will put them on their side.

» True Appearance Written: A unique hollow is the only way to describe her; since in her current state she can only appear and move through bodies of water it would only make sense that her influence is equal to the body of water. In short her size varies greatly from oceans to cups well in comparison she doesn't have the strength to take over an entire ocean yet. The largest she can influence would be around an half an acre in in diameter; if you don't know how much that is an half an acre is around 2 023 meters or 21 780 feet. Her influence only means how her visual environment shifts to be apart of herself and how large the area of effect are for some of her abilities. How the environment changes for the hollow starts by the water darkening considerably, but not only does it darken but it starts to change in hue as well. Parts in the water that is much longer to the person and seems to be shallower will take on a more greenish blue while areas in which seem to be the deepest and further away will take on an indigo violet. That long with the random sprouting of white lily pads long with her famous red and black lotuses; would give any person the idea that something is off with the water. This change in environment visually marks her influence and she cannot leave it by walking on land.

After explaining her influence one of the main parts of her body would be the humanoid looking figure that is within the water while this figure will shrink to put in let's say a cup; it will never get larger then that of a normal person. Most of the time she would be within the middle of the influence however she will move closer to he person as the influence gets larger since she needs to, you know, talk to them. Since this is about her true appearance people who are unaffected by what is explained next would see something a bit more twisted and demented. While her body looked like the average Japanese woman, bring petite, pale and fit; it's where her face is that differs. Instead of having a normal face it seems that there are three sets of hands obstructing her hearing, her sight and her speech and as to where they come from are lost behind the extremely long, straight, black hear. If it weren't for the eerie placement of the hands and the uncertainty of where they come from she would look like a normal woman. As for her voice it isn't used in a traditional manner; she mainly talks within people's heads and it sounds almost omnipotent. As she isn't even close to this level it doesn't normally make people uncomfortable however the overlapping voices of every person's soul she has eaten would echo in people's head. Since she is a female the more female voices would be more prominent then the male voices each time she speaks seems to start with a water drop. So to those who get irritated quickly it's a good thing she doesn't talk as much.

Lastly would be the most important part of her person which would be the winged koi fish. This winged koi fish would look like any other normal koi fish however instead of it's bright reds and whites it instead seems to take on a more gloomy monochromatic appeal. If it weren't for the bright red spot upon it's forehead it could easily just blend into the water. This Koi fish is main body of this hollow meaning that while destroying the humanoid figure would harm it; it wouldn't end up killing it.

» Shifter Appearance Written: While this is a passive ability this ability isn't for harms use and is only used on the people that she visited. While she isn't changing her body physically it means that she is using more of a psychological approach or better known 'illusions'. By taking the loved one that recently passed away she shifts her facial features to be close enough to remind them of their loved one. This doesn't mean she turned into them because that would be very awkward to have a man's face on a woman's body. However small features that the person she is visited loved the most such as their eye shape, their voice maybe even their hair colour would be the things she change about herself to fit them. The appearance before hand would be what any other person would see as she isn't targeting them per say or if someone wasn't grieving or hadn't had any loved ones passed way wouldn't get this effect at all. Because the changes are all depended on the person writing down each possible scenario would be too difficult so explaining the ability would be much more efficient.

» Strangely Positive Besides the point that she has to live remembering the tormented feelings that caused her transformation for the rest of her existence and the fact that she is forced into feeding a hunger that may never end. Ren is strangely more positive then more hollows in a manner of speaking; she isn't like most hollows in which let their feelings of negative take over to the point of making rash choices. Her past personality seems to shine out dully behind everything. How can she be positive and miserable at the same time? She isn't positive for herself but instead of others, even while knowing the outcome she will make sure to encourage other people with kind words. I mean she is a hollow that reunites people with their loved ones how much kinder can you get with that? But because of the reasoning some people may believe that she is doing this for manipulative reasons which isn't completely incorrect but not her intention. In a sense she just wants to see the people and pretend that she is in their shoes as a hollow when she finally eats the soul it only feeds her negative feelings so much more due to the emotional connection she has.

» Manipulative As mentioned before her positivity can be viewed as manipulation however that is not the case, this doesn't mean that she isn't manipulative in the slightest though. If she ever wants to get any souls to feed her emotional torment she has to manipulate people to bring back their lovers this can be done many ways. Her shifting her appearance is a very good way of manipulating them from the get go as it is to remind them of their loved ones and bringing back feelings they tried to forget. Another method would be to give them false hope and lies about bringing them back forever practically granting them a wish to bring them back. While this isn't a lie she cannot keep them alive forever, no-one would be able too. However she will try to convince them through sweet words and promises if these don't normally work then she would just find buttons in which she can manipulate freely through the short conversation they have.

» Quiet This personality trait is something she literally does most of the time. Unlike most people in which they talk about things for an endless amount of time Ren prefers to keep her statements short and understandable something in which can't always be done if she is wanting to bring a soul back. However because she is so quiet this makes her the prefect listener. This is important to her job as many people will try to talk themselves better and while it's common for humans to take into consideration of whatever the listener suggests. even as a personality straight Ren has this is personality is best suited for the work she does since it connects back to her manipulative ways.

In other ways she tends to be more quiet would also be the activities she prefer to participate in; she would be the time that enjoys swimming, sun bathing perhaps even a bit of literature. All of which can be done efficiently with silence the person why Ren thinks that she enjoys these little things is that they are connected to how she was when she was human, but she has no memories to back this up.

» Motherly Instincts When she was a live Ren was actually a mother for a few years which was one of the main triggers into her death and her becoming a hollow. This motherly love she has drives her even after her death as she finds herself instinctively trying to save children. In her ind children are anyone under the age of eighteen and since she can't really go out of land to help others like normal people she is forced to stay within waters. It's common to find people trying to commit suicide through jumping off bridges or people drowning while they are out swimming. If she is nearby she feels as if she has the choice of saving them or dragging them deeper into the depth to consume their soul. With this being said if they were someone underage she feels inclined to save them causng the least amount of damage.

» Depressed While this personality is the polar opposite to the first personality trait she has; she is very much depressed. Small things could trigger her memories in which caused her to end up as a hollow and it seems that she is constantly being tormented by the need to feed on others. With these things frequently being triggered repetitively throughout each day it would only make sense that this hollow holds no happiness towards herself. This could also be connected to her Quiet like personality as the activities in which she indulges herself in are less likely to cause triggers giving her small moments of peace in her hectic lifestyle. Either way Ren's goal is to find a way to end all these miseries once and for all even if it means to take the lives of countless of people.

» Influence (Garganta)
It was explained earlier on what the influence looks like however to give another small run down; the influence is the body of water that is within a quarter an acre radius of the hollow. The influence is marked back the change in water colour, and sprouting of strange plants such as white translucent water lily pads and black and red lotuses. The influence is apart of the hollow's body as she is is causing this changes herself however this is also apart of a power she possesses. Hollows are capable of travel through Garganta the act of opening a rift to travel through different dimensions and realms. However Ren is incapable of leaving water at her current state; this is when her Garganta was manipulated to meet her needs. The influence is in fact apart of her body however the influence is also her garganta which is why the water looks incredibly deep (because it is). While she has the ability to manipulate her own body at will this is how she travels from one body of water to another without ever having to step out on land. This can means that if someone were to sink in with her during her traveling they can in theory travel with her. However this is very unlikely because since her influence is apart of her own body she can tell whenever come one steps into it much like a spider and it's web.

» Winged Koi
[i]This is a massive ability and the majority of what she is capable of; the winged koi is a seal of sorts however what is important is what she is sealing it. It has been vaguely talked about throughout everything else, but now to further explain how this hollow collects her souls. The Winged Koi requires a few things to be in a place and one of which is a person who is grieving for a lost love; because this is such a huge part of her ability Ren has a natural affinity towards those who were grieving at one point. While she can sense the lost in their lives she cannot pin point who exactly it was for, so she can't just go around and gather information indiscriminately. She also has to be within the same area as someone else to even get a vague understanding of who to talk too. It isn't until she has contact with the person that she can gather more information from them through their memories of their loved ones.

Once she has a person who lost someone then she has to go to the next time and that is making them have a deal with her in some manner. This deal isn't necessarily a written contract and there are no rules to it at all; the only thing she needs them to do is cry out their loved ones name. If their soul hasn't been reused in another life their soul would have resonated with their voice even whilst in the soul cycle. This is how Ren drags their soul back down onto earth; the hollow however doesn't eat the soul then and there. By using an ability that can only be activated for this seal only and if all the steps before hand has been placed; Ren can use the water that is influenced by her to create a temporary shell. This "body" will resemble closely to soul's previous body used to look like but with a large tattoo of a winged koi on their back.

This body that is created is not of human flesh obviously and cannot live by the same methods they are required to consume a specific part of the hollow's influence to keep on living. In short they have to eat a rare fruit that grows in the lotuses that Ren Produces each month; this becomes a bargaining chip that Ren uses against them as she'll request for a human sacrifice for eat lotus berry they want. She wants to drive the newly created "person" towards suicide or just death because whenever the body parishes the soul is returned to the hollow to be consumed. The fruits that the revived soul forces them to relive their death over and over again plus the experiences of the human sacrifice used to get the the fruit. While this isn't a 100% method that the revived soul will break or if their lover stops getting the fruit either way the hollow is getting souls in each month from one person alone. Multiplying that by all the deals she could en up making makes up for the rather lax and time consuming method.

The soul that is revived becomes an NPC and upon their death their bodies returns to being the water that it was created out of. Using her natural hollow abilities such as Garganta and Negacion she can transport the soul to her side once more without any complications. Also because the mark of the Winged Koi is on the revived soul's body she is capable of sensing exactly when and where they have been at all times. As they are now branded by her own powers; this also brings up why this is a sealing ability. This is because the body that the soul is in binds the soul to stay within it meaning other shinigami or even hollows cannot rip the soul ut of the host's body. It can only die whenever Ren wills it or if they don't eat the fruit.

» Acidic Touch:
Unlike most Hollows Ren's body can take up whatever body of water she submerges in. Meaning it would be problematic for anything alive if she were to go into the Ocean. This means that her Acidic Touch is altered slightly to fix her dilemma; while her main hosts which is her special humanoid and Koi have the passive ability quite strongly. The water in which she is now apart of changes in potency. The water closest to her would have a much higher potency then something far away however she is capable of shutting off this whenever she willingly allows someone "inside of her." (i.e. the water). This stops her from hurting the people she makes deals with and keeps her safe from intruders. However seeing how a person must step on a part of her to not sink into the Garganta the water helps neutralize her acidic skin if as mentioned before they were invited.
