Frail and Quiet yet Strong and Eloquent. Tsukkomi is a quiet girl. She normally doesn't speak to those she doesn't know and rarely starts her own conversations. Despite being faux nobility, she doesn't like to speak with those that worship her. Tsukkomi would rather hide within her home and have someone else speak for her than have to speak to even a single person. She has become quite frail because she refuses to go outside. But that doesn't mean that she can't hold her own in a fight. She will fight if need be. However, she prefers not to fight instead she'll try to talk her way out of fighting. But being faux nobility means she'll have guards around her for most of the day and night, even while taking a shower. When she is forced to speak to a crowd, she is quite good. Despite being a good speaker, most of the speeches are given to simple-minded morons that cheer at anyone raising their voice in a positive manner.

Guardian of Life yet Destroyer of Souls.Tsukkomi is a guardian of the weak. She hates to see children on the streets without parents. She would adopt them all if she had the space and time for each one. She despises bullies and overpowering figures. This is probably what is left of her motherly instincts and feelings. She hates to travel over grasslands, saying that she's afraid that her guards will kill the flowers. She also tries to stop the killing of the weaker guardian beasts, though to no avail. Though this is not to say that she won't take another life. She's killed in the past and she won't hesitate if her life is in danger. She will not take the life of a child, and instead will have someone else do it without her being nearby. Tsukkomi doesn't approve of merciless killing though. Like stated above, she has killed before. She does not regret a single bit of it though.
Loyal yet a Rebel.Tsukkomi is loyal to her former fiance`, Odysseus. Well, Alter Odysseus now. She has not had sexual relations with any other man or woman since they last saw one another. Of course, the urges of an aging woman are great in that aspect, so she has had to...well do it herself. She has refused to remarry even after their marriage became void. She believes the man she once loved is still able to manifest himself, though it isn't showing yet. But this isn't to say that she'll stay like that forever. She's been unable to quench her thirst for a man in her life for about 10 years. It's been difficult, especially seing as most of her retainers are good-looking young men. She's been making a lot of attempts to try and get the now Alter Odysseus out of the current Odysseus, though no progress has been gained. She has been going against his wishes though, and killing some of the Western Clan's Council.

Sacred Weapon: None. It was removed from existance. She used to have a Sacred that was trained up to Kyuu Kyou, and so she has an alter form.

Alter Personality: No different than Tsukkomi, which is odd for an Alter. Though Tsukkomi is the only Sugiura to have lost her Sacred and retain her Alter Form.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background:
Back in the old days of the Western Lands, there was a dispute over who would be king. Originally it was to be Ulysseus, Odysseus's older brother. However, Ulysseus was exiled before Odysseus's birth. It was difficult to determine the next king as this had never happened. Of course, this was also troublesome for the le Rouge de Loi family. Odysseus was their only male heir left and he needed a wife for producing the next heir. The le Rouge de Loi family chose someone from the Ejiki clan of the East to be his wife. Of course this was almost sacrilige, as most Westerners despised the East and its people. However, a split second desicion was made and the next female chile would be the wife of Odysseus. Within a few months, a woman from the Ejiki clan was relocated because she was pregnant. A few months later, Tsukkomi was born

The young child was christened as a Westerner instead of an Easterner. This settled some people's anger but most were still angry as hell. Tsukkomi was protected by the le Rouge de Loi family for years. 100 years passed before Tsukkomi saw life outside of the palace. She had dark hair and eyes and with a little sprucing up could pass as a Westerner. And that was done as a test. It was successful. However she didn't approve of hiding her true self so she became a recluse again. Within a few years, Odysseus was introduced to his soon-to-be wife.

The two hadn't been able to see one another and so they were extremely joyed to see one another. The two were immediately in love, actually. Tsukkomi saw no one as a threat at the time, though she wasn't considering what would happen with Odysseus if he was chosen to replace his brother. Within ten years after meeting, Odysseus had her pregnant twice. She was only 150, which is young for a Sugiura. Her first child was a male and the second was female. Both were to be nobility one day, though many didn't know how succession would work.

However, the daughter died of a sickness that was quite rare. This tore Tsukkomi to shreds. Especially since it was rumored to be poisoning. Either way, Tsukkomi didn't let her son do anything. She had lost one child and she wasn't going to lose her other. Then, worse news came. Odysseus was to be the next king. He voided their marriage and left, never returning as the same man. Tsukkomi became very depressed. However, for someone of her mental state, it was not a good thing...

Within a year, she snapped. No one knows what the hell triggered her to snap, but everyone knows the aftermath. The guards came running into her child's room after hearing screaming. They found Tsukkomi on the ground, bashing the child's skull in with the hilt of a katana while holding onto the blade. Well, what was left of it. She had swung into him many times, and eventually the blade broke off in his lower leg. As the guards took her away, they set the boy's body ablaze and watched as him and his room were no more within an hour.

Tsukkomi was sent away, to get her mind in order. It was a while before she reached the Land of the Guardian Beasts. There, she met a woman who was in actuality a guardian beast. After a while the two made a contract and she was given a Sacred. Yes, there is another way to gain a Sacred rather than to be born with it. This is a frowned-upon way of gaining your powers, as anyone can do it in theory. Tsukkomi set off to the Northern Lands. The Guardian Beasts inhabited the South, and then of course there was the West and East, both of which were filled with people. But there's a land of legend nowadays. Few people speak of it, as if it would kill them. This was the North.

"This is about the North, you can skip this.":

In the North, Tsukkomi began her Sacred training. No, not as in holy, but as in her sword. It took many years but she was eventually able to get her Sacred to respond to her. However, this was the beginning of the end. Her Sacred became a constant-release type and would tamper with how people felt. At first it would make everyone around her constantly look over their shoulder. However, when she gained the next step in power, things got worse.

Her Zenou was a bit more complex. It would not only put the people within a 20-foot radius become instantly full of fear, but it would also put their bodies into survival mode and tamper with their vision. Tsukkomi was unable to be seen while these illusions were going on, so she was safe. However, she saw many people around her kill one another. It took many years for her to get used to it. And then finally, she gained Kyuu Kyou.

In Kyuu Kyou, her Sacred was exceptionally deadly. Her Kyuu Kyou, whose name has been lost to time is when people began to hear 'Oyashiro-sama's footsteps', and passerbys are known to start clawing at their own flesh. In some cases, there is a previous psychological motive that serves as a catalyst for the scrathing. Formication is when a person suffers from the sensation that insects are crawling under their skin and scrathes intensively to either remove the imaginary parasite or to simply end the pain. Skin diseases can cause this form of extreme irritation to the skin. Formication also occurs due to excessive use of amphetamines, suggesting the police station's wondering of whether Tsukkomi used narcotics as a provocative of her "murders".

Eventually, every town she went to became "infested." Nothing she could do would stop it. Or so she thought. She began reading books about Sacreds, and learned of a process to remove potentially dangerous Sacreds. However, these were only Sacreds that had reached Joushou. Tsukkomi ventured into the wilderness and began the process. In an instant, everything was changed.

The ground beneath her began to shake and the clouds parted. The entire North and Far North closed up on itself, as if they were placed upon a hand and it clenched a fist. After that, the gravity around it began to collapse, in a sense. As where it was being strung together in the sky, the pieces fell back down. However, they fell into nothing more than magma underneath the pieces of land. Of course, not all was like that. Some of the underground buildings on the outskirts of the North were unearthed but they were soon abandoned.

For some reason, Tsukkomi was unharmed. She was protected by an orb of silver liquid that transported her to the nearest cliff where she was found unconcious. The recovery team carried her into a hospital, where she was in a coma for 6,000 years. Upon awakening, she learned that the process was a success. Her Sacred, and her Guardian Beast, were gone. She cried for two days nonstop, thinking of what she had done. Sure, she had saved many people from the torment of her Sacred...but so many innocents had died. She shook it off and escaped back to the East.
Note: Her Sacred was removed from existance. All traced copies of it as well. It can not be brought back, even through time travel.
