A KING'S REQUIEM

AZURE IRAMASHA
忘れっぽいです

It had been years since Azure Iramasha had stepped into the Abandoned District of Saburo City, a place known for fighters and thieves. It's reaches all came to a close near the city limits of Saburo, something that people knew far too well due to wanting to stay away from the paths to Area X itself. Azure was here on business, a disturbance in the world's energies was felt by Vanguard scanners, a large amount of their forces initiating moves on these very places. The Iramasha came here alone, registering a spike in energy that had lasted only a few moments in the near past. Taking his first steps into the Abandoned area, Azure Iramasha coughed, looking around him as he held a look of disdain on his face.

It was annoying, the world was going to hell at the worst time possible. Given his recent endeavors, Azure was in a bit of a tight spot. With the outcome of Iceland and the actions that he had taken since its ending, the Iramasha wasn't exactly the man for the job here. Depending on what was actually going on with all of these instances of energy disturbances, it could spell the worst for anyone that stepped out of line. Taking the path of a ruthless prick, the Vanguard Leader was a formidable foe to face now. The broken portion of his soul was not one to mess with, neither was it's owner. Taking a final look at the broken down buildings and pitiful state of things, Azure ventured forward to the center of Area X, taking in the view as he did so. The last time the man stood in these very streets he held a battle with any who wished to come. Would it be a replica of that very day, today?

The male had taken his final steps to a large government building within Area X, the building was left in shambles after the destruction in a previously held battle it seems. The front portion of the building was all but standing, its eerie presence only gave the area itself more of a disturbing feel. Past the entrance walked the man, bringing his hands to each column and wall that he came into contact with. By doing so, Azure implanted small bits of his energy to constantly ring out in the government building, causing vibrations to repeatedly go off as the sounds clicked one after another. It was a precaution of course, the man wasn't too sure what he was investigating in this place. These shockwaves simply kept him safe of any type of sneak attack, let alone someone trying to talk to him in such a sketchy place.

The Iramasha's face was a bit distance, his eyes shifting from one thing to the next in order to take mental snapshots of what he was viewing. He didn't mind being out and doing work for those he commanded, but he wasn't really in the best of states. Flopping his back against a small fountain, the dark afternoon sun blared its way into the building, flipping through the halls as if it was directly searching for a sign of life. That sign of life, as pitiful as can be, was indeed Azure Iramasha. Basking in the dark sunlight, the man looked to the cloudy sky, expecting nothing but a small miracle to occur.

You feel that, don't you jackass?

Husk quivered inside of Azure, pushing his influence once more to the male's brain to speak to the imbecile.

Tell me you feel that, dick head. It feels... so, so good. Like a knife, digging into flesh. Can't you feel its dark touching you? You've got to, come on idiot. Come on.

The asshole only pushed his words out more and more as Azure spent his sweet time responding. The male had his hands within his pockets, head down once more. As much as he didn't want to admit it, the chaotic being within him was completely right. Something was already going down, but what was it? The dark energy that spiked previously on their scanners could be felt in full force now that he had came to the center of Area X. As if it was simply waiting for him...

I WANT TO HAVE FUN. GET YOUR ASS UP, AZURE.

Tch, being pressured by a piece of malefic shit wasn't really a thing Azure wanted, but nevertheless and stood, turning his head to the wide entrance of the building. The wall was blown out entirely allowing others to view the outside without much of a problem. Shaking his head, the male took a long look at the broken street.

"Could you shut up already?"

The dark energy only pushed itself forward more. What the hell was the Vanguard Leader getting himself into this time?

Crack here, crack there. So many cracks that is simply inconceivable of the damage it has caused to the living realm that these beings are trying so much to protect. Even if they were to wipe out the Reformed that is invading the home they love so much, more would only come back. They are not talking about hundreds or thousands, but millions in numbers that would have enough capability to give problems even to the top fighters of the entire world. What fruitless attempts to save what cannot be saved, had not been their host to be occupied at some times, this young man that took his sweet step into the Area X would've been easily taken care of.

However, the Earth has the lingering effects of its host. Occupying the air with faint pressure of both the fight between the Nightmare and the Beast of Karakura, it was enough to know that it is the task of the Reformed to continue on as long as the host continues to supply the world with negativity of the cracked energy. With the Dev still nowhere to be seen, it is possible that 'it' is still under preparation. Otherwise, there was not much of a time to waste as the young man seemingly began to walk into the large government building that was within the Area X. While they have not occupied it as of yet, he sure dug up his own grave from that point. Not knowing what the young man was capable of doing, they set up a bit of clean tricks of their own. The Reformed beings may not seem as intellectual beings for the appearances that they were given but being monsters that was built for this war, intellectual abilities was a must even if it was just a little, to not stupidly charge in against opponents that may cost their lives.

First line of duty would be that the man within the building would realize that an army of the Aadi, 'basic soldiers' that are nothing but minions that only possesses numbers and abnormal strength that could hold even the strongest opponent down as their numbers grow around them to keep them locked, all of that, would rush into the building and from the entrance as if the entire entrance would be flooded with huge numbers of them. Of course, they didn't deploy all of 'them' right into the building. This was to attempt to flood right into the building and hold down the Iramasha from any further movements or even using any abilities that may stop more of advancements.

Next would be the preparation of the Pashu against the entrance of the building, coming in with few of their numbers. Why? Capable of taking severe amounts of punishment on their bodies, killing them would almost be a hard work even for the most cutting-edge blades to slice right through them. Their flesh may be easy to cut through but killing them alone won't be easy. With them being put up, it would be easy for the Netrs to take a shot at the Iramasha as well, with only few numbers standing about a thousand or so. Keeping its distance far away from the building while still within the visible range, the second Azure makes a movements or even a second worth of halting his movements, they would all fire a blast of energy capable of wiping out buildings, or simply put, blasts that can be described as a cero but they pretty much hurts more than the normal ones, and not to mention, deadlier. They may be weak and does not possesses many numbers, but compared even against the Pashu's monstrous strength, their energy blasts are much in a higher league than them, making the Netr the enemies even the Iramasha has to be aware of, or he might lose an arm or two once he loses even tiny bit of focus in the combat.

With all those preparations set, it would be up to the Iramasha to really act against all these tactics of dealing with it, because one mishap may cost him his blood at some point. Now then, shall we wage a war?

ENTER INTO AZURE'S POST

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: N/A

The Vanguard Leader stifled a laugh, kicking at the ground as the dark energy he felt began to envelop the air. The thickness it brought made the man smile, it had been awhile since he could just have fun. Iceland led to a depressive state for Azure, something that completely removed him from the thrill of the fight. Ever since the Husk came to fruition, he had lost that flame that existed deep within him. That very flame that Radioactive had rekindled months ago. The male's eyes flashed, crimson distributing itself throughout the whites. It seemed that the darkness that wished to consume Saburo City's Area X had finally arrived, fully pushing its way into the human realm once more.

Previously, there were events like this constantly spread throughout the earth's surface, each one consisting of a number of odd looking creatures. These creatures weren't in mass until now, it seemed. "Scouts" of sorts taking their time to point out mass attack positions they could take on the surfaces. These were the first of the spikes in the dark energy that currently resided near Azure's vicinity. This instance was far different, something that he had only felt once before. In the deep recesses of himself, Husk gave off the same type of energy. It wasn't a spiritual or physical type of energy, it was something that ate away at your very mentality. It spoke to you, trying to break your walls so you would conform. Conform or die, no?

Before Azure really knew the extent of what the dark energy was, the entrance of the began to swell in size as small critters began to flood their way in through the entrance of the government building. Taking a last look to the sky, Azure pushed out an annoyed sigh as he readied himself. It was nearly instant, the male taking a step forward into the direction of the entrance once more. During this single step, the Iramasha's body began to ooze a deep red energy, enveloping his entire being as he released the majority of his limiters. The earth beneath the male impacted, causing a large crater to form in the immediate vicinity due to the massive spiritual pressure that was exerted out from the activation of the leader's Final Form. Instantly moving from his base state to his final form, Azure Iramasha's body became a blur. Moving forward at speeds unimaginable, the male met the small creatures head on.

From the majority of the waves being sent out by the constant vibrations in the area, Azure registered that they were not alone. Yet another type of creature moved their way into the building alongside the weaker ones. It seemed that they meant to overflood him with numbers or to take him out from afar, given the vibrations also picked up the large exterior of Area X itself. There was no doubting the situation he was currently thrust into. From afar, there were those that intended on hitting him repeatedly with some type of long range attack if he were to mess up. That was a given, they were looking to control the area Azure currently resided in.

Taking note in mere miliseconds, Azure also registered the energy of the two parties currently force feeding the building their groups. The group that was large in number consisted of pure numbers, their energy pushing off a weaker tone. This group wasn't meant for constant battle, overwhelming numbers were normally enough to take down even what seemed to be the strongest of foes. On the other hand, the other group was stronger and far fewer in number. It seemed that they were meant to keep him busy or to give him a serious run for his money. These were all jobbers, but jobbers nevertheless would be an issue for a one man army, no?

You better have some type of fucking fun, you jackass.

Husk's words were clear, a staple in Azure's mind as his he faced the forces before him. The male shifted one more step forward as the entrance began to crumble due to the mass amount of bodies pushing their way through. Bringing his hands together in a large clap, Azure's chaos energy clung to the vibrations that he had created and amplified them. By doing so, the ground beneath him began to shake at a rather large magnitude. As if an earthquake had shaken Area X as a whole, the government building that had just been swarmed began to rattle. The creeks and groans of the foundation screamed as the earth before Azure began to split, the force of the vibrations shaking the ground's very molecules split itself into a large chasm. Spanning the majority of the hallway that led to the center lobby, Azure allowed a small smirk to filter itself onto his lips.

"Oh come on, you're going to doubt me now of all times, Husk?"

The male's words stung even himself, causing his eyes to move slightly to the side. It was obvious the man had gone crazy now, but at least he still knew of his identity. He was not insane, he was simply crazy. There was a sense of morality and intellect in Azure still, something Husk could not fully remove. Shaking the feeling from his mind, the Vanguard Commander brought his hands against the earth below, a swarm of chaos energy pushing itself out of his body as the tendrils of his Final Form began to shift from his body to the earth around him. Errecting themselves in large walls, the man began to become surrounded by the equal in speed and strength tendrils. It was meant to act as a defensive mechanism to those that tempted to take him out from so far away. With this done, the male was not yet finished with his first front assault.

He stood once more, all of his actions happening in mere seconds as he allowing a rather decent amount of chaos energy to errect itself around him. Mixing it with the reiatsu around him and his own chaos energy, the volatile mix only needed a force to cause it to be strong. Bringing his fist back, Azure allowed a animalistic growl to screech from his throat as he punched the ground beneath him. Doing so allowed the vibrations sent off my the sheer force to radiate throughout the air. Pulsating rather quickly, these vibrations flowed into the mass amount of chaos energy to create sword like figures from the chaos energy. As the swords were errected, Azure swept his left arm to the side. The movement pushed the chaos energy forth, a rough number of two hundred of these meter long swords were sent flying at the entrance as a secondary force to take down the current attacking force. It was meant to create a large barrier to shut out the inside and outside areas entirely.

The Iramasha smirked once more as he took a fighting stance, his legs shifting apart as he prepared himself for what might come. He wasn't an idiot, but to fight so many at once was surely going to be fun. He needed this fight, otherwise he would simply be empty. It was meant to rekindle that flame, and now, it began to spark.

Surprisingly enough, this man cannot be underestimated easily. One wrong movement and the entire army would be easily wiped out from that sort of analysis that they have concluded when swarming into the building in attempt to crush him like waves of water crashing right into him, and shoot him down when resistance was seen. He is tougher than expected for someone of his level, not to mention, his size. They didn't know if numbers were enough to cut it because the Reformed themselves aren't wired to be highly intellectual, but enough to sustain a bit of knowledge about strategy, so the best method to approach this man was unknown even to them, beings that was mechanically engineered for nothing else but war itself.

With whatever's left of an intellectual ability that they had in these circumstances after wasting an amount of numbers to their demise from rushing into the building, the only way to have this equally settled was the presence of the Dev. However, this is also a problem that they are facing since they have not yet seen 'its' presence in the battlefield, leaving only the rest of the army to settle this. So, what strategy are they planning? Whilst the building is still standing tall and strong, well, they aren't the smartest of all, but they can still do proper strategies from combined intelligence from what little they had in mind. First off, they redo the previous scenario but a little changed. With their initial numbers being annihilated on a whim by the man, they decided to send twice the number that they can afford to risk at the moment, whether if he is within or outside of the building, the Aadis, the basic 'soldiers' of the entire Reformed, would make another attempt to swarm over Azure with twice as many numbers as they were previously in order to limit his movements, attacks as well as vision.

Then? The brawns of the army, the Pashu, would make their next attempt to take a grip on each possible limbs that they can hold onto in the middle of the swarming of the Aadis, with their ridiculously monstrous strength, they would be proven worthy to be able to hold onto the arms and legs of the Iramasha while taking punishments like never before. Not sure what would happen to them if they were to touch him, if failure were to occur, the Iramasha would only find out that more and more of the Pashus, the brawns of the army, would continuously take over one after another to keep him either busy or on hold, not even giving up once in taking him down. Both numbers and brawns are now in place to attempt in keeping this 'monster' in place.

Next up on their list? Well, they don't know. Having the Netrs, with only few in numbers, would surround around the building in case of any means of escape, that they would shoot down any intruders or escape of sorts. Since they would not wish to waste the most important firepower in the ranks; the Netrs, they could only risk the Aadis and the Pashus to deal with a threat like that. So, with that being said, with the Netrs stand on guard on the outside, only the Aadis and the Pashus would try its best to keep coming in, not quickly but slowly. Punching, scratching, you name it, they would do it to make this guy to be injured even in the slightest. With Aadis ridiculous numbers, and Pashu's incredible strength, they would make sure that even powerful fighters that is, as far as they know, out of their league, would feel fatigue to even fight them, not to mention, to get hurt by them. They aren't simply made as the weapons of war for fun by their creator, so they will make that well-known for powerful foes like Azure himself. While awaiting for the arrival of the Dev, this was all they could do at the moment.
