There has been an enormous amount of work put into the site over the past six years, has it not? Yet, it seems that with each year, it gets a little bit smaller, a little bit more inactive and the problems just never seem to cease. I've tried, day in and day out, to try and make this site run as best as I possibly can. It doesn't seem that the issues are ever fixed, and I'm not sure there is anything else I can really do anymore but leave the site inactive. I'm not sure if I'll come back, but at this point, it just feels like my efforts and work are worthless.

And personally, running this site is just stressful without much pay-off. It hurts to see each person leave, it hurts to see the site become a little bit smaller and it hurts to see that all the tension and drama is still around. That simply means I've failed as a Head Admin and I do not blame anyone but myself for the end that has come to this site. I almost wish I could restart and never start on this venture. For while I've been given good memories and tools to help me build, I'd rather have just gone through not caring so things could not end up like this.

It has been a long ride, and one I will not forget, but I feel it is time to move on. This site really isn't good for anyone's health. So, Even if it's going to hurt, it's time to just stop. You all can still get your material, as the site isn't being locked, it's just going to be a free-for-all from where I see.

Do you see that, Frost? None of those faces would be there if not for you and what you've created. None of those faces would come back here and think of this place as a home if it had not been for you. Your abilities and skills and time that you have put into this site have not been wasted or without rewards. Yes, they can be difficult to see at times. Yes, our home has become very large. Yes, we ourselves are quite small in the grand scheme of things.

This last week I've been on leave. Maybe this message will break before it sends due to my hardware issues. I pray to God it will not, however. You're one of my best friends. I know that being in charge of things, especially something like this, is draining. My door is always open. I hope we can just talk about things like we have before. I'm sorry I was out the last week.

I'm not sure about how running a site works or what will happen when you just leave the site behind (do you pay to keep the site running? I don't know.). But as long as this place remains I see no reason to let this stop everybody in their tracks. Irregardless of your perception on how active this site really is, I will continue to show back up here, and contributing to the site. And I imagine many others will as well. You don't build a community this large just to watch it burn and die like this, after all.

I imagine even if you take away the staff powers of anyone else and declare this site dead, we'll manage to find a way to make it work. And if it doesn't, then we'll build something new, and migrate. Your unimaginable efforts to keep this site running will not be forgotten, or belittled. You built something incredible and anyone else will tell you that. I hope it makes you happy to hear that. It would be a monument to your work if we keep this community running...

But soft words aside. You will not just leave and declare this site dead because you perceive it that way. Let the people determine that; as long as we still post and this community still sticks together, the site lives on.
