» Appearance Description: Standing at 5'4 Akiko is a rather slender and fit woman with firey orange hair and light hazel eyes. Her hair goes just past her neck and partially covers her right eye. Akiko's body is in an hourglass shape with fitting curves and she has no intention of flaunting them. She has a scar visible where her heart is but it isn't very noticeable unless up close. Akiko seems to have fair skin and her skin is soft to the touch. She has no tatoos or any sort of birth marks on her body.

She's said to have a really nice smile and stance that's sometimes lady like and sometimes very agile. With what might be considered an above average sized bust and what's considered to be a bubble butt. Her clothing is usually the average shinigami uniform and she tries to hide all of these features under them. Her preference of off duty clothing is usually a plain shirt and jeans but she has sometimes been seen in a skirt or dress. She doesn't wear any sort of formal attire, why would she ever need such clothing?

» Personality: Akiko is often considered lazy and ignorant as she tends to sleep in most days and just day dream a lot while she's awake and not in combat. She's actually very active and enjoys training with her fellow soldiers. Akiko's nice to everyone, even people she dislikes because she wishes to get along with everyone over getting a fight over something petty. She's always willing to listen to people but after a long day of fighting or training she tends to just want to sleep. Akiko's attitude towards being a vizard are rather mixed as she feels glad to have more power and in a way, her brother back but on the other hand she doesn't know if she'll ever be able to somehow free Ryuuta from his hollow form and give him another chance at life as a plus soul.

She isn't really willing to express her feelings but she's willing to hear others out if they need someone to talk to. Akiko has very little experience with being in any sort of intimate relationship and thus tries to seem un-interested in such but she is curious but also scared of it. Akiko values friends like family as they are the only family she has besides Ryuuta. She will fight to complete her mission or goals but she knows her limits and she'd rather live over dying like an idiot. She can seem rather cold to those she meets for the first time but she's really just a bit shy around new faces.

» Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance:


» Zanpakutō Spirit Personality: This Zanpakutō spirit seems to be modeled after Akiko's little brother and thus is friendly and cheerful. He can keep calm if need be and can be very intelligent when Akiko needs him to be and often that intelligence isn't wasted. Kokai's view towards violence varies as he may not like certain people enough to say that he won't mind if Akiko attacks them. He despises when Akiko acts cold to people unless he has reason to dislike them as well. Kokai is often very loud with opinions too, he won't hesitate to state his opinion.

Kokai can be stubborn at times as well, he'd wants Akiko to consider his opinions. He can be very restless too, not being one for slowing down in anyway unless he's tired from fighting. Kokai also doesn't like being called stupid and will consider such as a challenge. Often during quiet times he'll challenge Akiko to a dance off and will keep asking until she accepts. Kokai can be immature but that's probably because he just wants to have fun instead of being serious all the time.

» Inner World: Akiko's inner world is rather odd, one one side it seems to be a Sengoku style city with many different buildings and a very nice scene as the roads seem to have a stream next to the roads. These streams all seem to run to the large castle at the far end of the old style city portion of the inner world. The streams all fill the moat around the castle that seems heavily fortified despite always having the gate open. Inside the castle are very nice rooms and at the middle floor of the castle the entire portion of the castle seems to be made from polished marble and has a very European feel to it. It's here the ancient feel of japan is mainly broken as Kokai is found here often dancing to any sort of tune besides anything heavy metal. Speakers are set up in this room and they're always at high volume. Kokai rarely leaves this room and when he does it's usually due to boredom or to train with Akiko. This half of the inner world always appears to be in day light.

The second half is a more modern city with large skyscrapers and rather empty but bright streets as it always seems to be night here. Giant screens litter the sides of every building and they all seem to play Akiko's memories. There are very few small buildings here and the streets all seem to have arrows pointed on them. These arrows point to a very out of place building that looks like a Japanese garden style garden with a tall wooden building in the center. Inside is a stage of sorts that Ryuuta often performs on and then there's a small table where he somehow always manages to have a full cup of coffee waiting on it.

At the center of her inner world is a small plain are that always seems to be at twilight, while very ordinary it has its own beauty to it. The flowers are always in bloom and they aren't too exotic or special. Just nice and simple, this part of Akiko's inner world is probably mean to represent a safe haven for her.

Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance: While sealed the Zanpakutō takes the form of a long double barreled pistol. On the pistol seems to be an engraving of a flying raven with a trail of feathers behind it.

» Release Phrase: Carry my wish on your wings, Kōkai no reivun

» Shikai Appearance: In shikai Akiko's Zanpakutō splits into 8 seprate guns, 2 of which she caries with her and fires manually while the other 6 are controlled with her mind and usually float around or near her.

» Shikai Abilities: In Shikai Akiko's gun splits into 8 each one of them capable of firing on their own via mental command from Akiko or Kokai and on rare occasions Ryuuta as well (only cero in his case). Her Kidou power is boosted to the point she casts them at 1 tier higher (eg casting at tier 3-4 has the kido count as if akiko was tier 3-3). Regular ammunition can also be replaced with Kido rounds which take one post to create. She can make upto 4 kido rounds and the number decreases the higher the kido number (eg: 1-25 can be made into 4 bullets, 26-50 into 3, 51-75 into 2 and 76-99 into one). Forbidden kido create their own ammo and only one round can be made per post to a maximum of 4 total. Her kido is fired from her guns and only the ones she's holding can fire kido while the others can only fire normal ammo.

Kokai also offers improved reflexes as she can react as soon as she sees movement or any sort of change such as someone suddenly throwing a punch when her guards down, she could react to said punch unless they are faster than her. Along with that Akiko's shikai also offers control of the air around to begin to hover and move more freely, jump higher and even create a weak shield of wind. The barrier itself can only with stand a hit from someone her strength or lower, any higher and it will break through. Hovering also grants her more effective dodging capabilities as she can move more suddenly. Her high jump can be used in two ways, a series of smaller jumps which allow great mobility or a greater jump which must be charged and can result in Akiko being able jump a kilometer into the air. She can use her wind hovering ability to slow her descent or even speed it up if she wishes.

Nova Shot:
If Akiko manages to load all 8 guns with a kido round each she can use the energy from her kido rounds to create a Nova Shot which channels all 8 rounds to create a very small sun which she fires at her tragets causing it to explode into 50 meter radius explosion. The Nova shot has the strength of a #40 Hadō.[/spoiler]

» Inner Hollow Description:


» Inner Hollow Personality: Akiko's inner hollow is rather hyper like her Zanpakutō spirit, it does however differ by being rather casual he it is about it's preference for violence over diplomacy. Seeing as this Hollow was originally her little brother both it and the Zanpakutō spirit seem to get along but while they do seem similar they are rather different. The inner hollow known as Ryuuta has been known to try and tempt Akiko into avenging his death by making her peruse the shinigami that are responsible for his death in the first place. He can be calmed rather easily by music and wants Akiko to dance with him but usually out dances her anyway.

Ryuuta is friendly but also very pessimistic when it comes to people that are stronger than Akiko. While not one to take over Akiko's body he has been known to try and do so if he feels somethings not right and the urge to fight becomes too strong to deal with. He also tries to push Akiko into becoming stronger with cero and while he means well he also tries to have her push everyone else to master cero as well. He can't stand heavy metal music and will try to drown it out with his own music which is usually hip hop or something less intense. Like Akiko, Ryuuta is addicted to coffee and misses the sweet aroma and taste enough to somehow always have some with him at all times whenever Akiko trains in her inner world.

» Inner Hollow Powers: The inner hollow posses powers rather typical for am agile gunslinger by having heightened senses and being able to react quickly. Wielding a large gun of his own he can use it one handed or even as a rifle that fires high powered cero beams. Ryuuta is also capable of small bursts of teleportation, this can even be used on others but seeing as Ryuuta can't exit Akiko's inner world he doesn't use this ability.

The hollows aim and prediction is also rather scary as it has managed to make bullets rebound and destroy entire buildings in Akiko's inner world with a single low level shot.

» Hollow Mask Appearance:

» Vizard Powers: Upon putting on her mask, Akiko is granted greater speed and higher Cero power. Her Cero Power is considered 3 tiers higher when wearing her mask (eg: Cero cast at Tier 3-4 are considered tier 3-1) and cause some of the energy to remain behind for 4 posts. This energy can be used to track people or even be used as a magnet for her other Cero attacks. Her cero can also be channeled through her Zanpakutō to create a Cero round that travels faster and is also an additional tier higher when fired, Akiko can create up to 4 Cero rounds per post however she can only use one round on the post that the bullets are created(eg: Create 4 cero rounds in one post, may only use one of those rounds on that post).

She also gains Ryuuta's Teleportation abilities to some extent by being able to teleport up to 250 meters away from her current position but can only teleport twice per post and must be able to see where she's going. She can also teleport others for half the distance and she still needs to see where they are going, someone can resist this by releasing a burst of reiatsu stronger than her. Teleporting drains her energy quickly and she must use it sparingly or else grow tired quickly.

The mask's speed boost increases her maximum speed by 300 km/h and heightens her senses such as sight, hearing, smell and touch. She's able to spot things quicker and from further away, pick up the scent of a target and even hear from a larger radius and higher as well as lower pitched noises. The also helps with her aiming and allows her to think quicker allowing her to find the best counter to attacks quicker.

Full Moon Beam: When all 8 guns have cero rounds in them she can use Full moon beam which is similar to the nova shot but instead made of cero and appears to be a moon while charging, when fired it fires a large beam that will shoot through anything in the way. Those caught in the beam are capable or resisting it and the beam has a range of a kilometer if charged for one post or 500 meters if fired on the post she begins charging.

Twilight Blaze: By using 4 rounds of each type (not including forbidden) Akiko is able to use Twilight Blaze which merges cero and kido energies into an orb that when fired expands and upon impact causes a large explosion that can take out a city block. Akiko needs to charge this attack for 3 posts (being able to fire on the third post). If she needs to fire earlier she may but the result is a beam of cero and kido energy that explodes upon impact, the range of this beam is 250 meters and is as strong as Nova shot and full moon beam.

» Background: Akiko was the oldest child in her family, she was often considered the gifted one while her brother Ryuuta often watched from the side. Ryuuta wanted to be a dancer and Akiko supported him but that support wouldn't really last as Akiko was picked to join a more prestigious school in japan. As the years went by Akiko had to balance her school work and seeing her family when they came to visit, she hated having to put school first but she wanted to make her family proud. The girl soon grew rather cold as studies became her focus until she graduated and moved back home.

Ryuuta had become a rather rebellious boy because while he wasn't as smart as his sister he was still pretty intelligent as well but wanted to follow his own dreams. He took up a side job as a street dancer to earn money where he could and he was good at it too. When Akiko moved back he tried to get her to dance with him to try and make her smile but she pushed him away and told him it was time to grow up. This upset Ryuuta and he ran from his sister and wandered the city just wanting to get away from everything but Akiko followed and the two argued and they ended up at the train station. The two continued to fight and in heart broken rage to see his sister become so cold, Ryuuta slapped Akiko causing her to call onto the tracks, she her legs from the fall and realizing what he had done made him panic.

As he jumped down onto the tracks he noticed a train was speeding right for them, he tried to get his sister to safety but he wasn't strong enough to lift her. He begged for those watching to help him but Akiko tried to get Ryuuta to just leave her. The last thing Akiko wanted was to see her brother die because of her, as her brother proved to be stubborn and kept trying to help her they both soon realized that it was too late now. Instead of getting to safety Ryuuta held his sister beginning to tear up whispering his apologies that he couldn't save her. Akiko held her little brother tightly crying as the train grew closer and the next thing they knew it was just...blank. The two awoke around midnight, a shinigami standing over them. The middle aged looking man said that they had died and that now they were to move on. They didn't really hesitate to agree that they were to move on, it felt like a dream to them but in the end they were now in the Rukongai, both of them forgetting everything except their final living moments.

While confused the two started again and tried to get money however they could. Akiko ended up stooping rather low as she sold herself often to try and earn money while Ryuuta tried to find a job and if he failed he'd try dancing to maybe see if he could get anything. Akiko often cried at night as she felt so ashamed of herself, one day she didn't come home and Ryuuta waited. Akiko was fine...until she raised a gun to a shinigami's head demanding their money. The weapon was old and if it fired it'd probably just break and become worthless. The shinigami tested her a bit with this and then offered that she become a shinigami, Akiko didn't know what to think at this except that it was an opportunity to move above being an occasional whore and earn more money and ensure that Ryuuta could eat well. So she agreed and she returned home to find that the house had been torn apart, Ryuuta no where in sight. Akiko ran around the district trying to find her brother but soon gave up only to see he was being dragged into the forest by a group of shinigami. Akiko ran after them, the shinigami that she encountered earlier stopped her and said it was too dangerous to mess with a group of trouble making shinigami.

The shinigami followed the group and Akiko followed anyway, the two saw that the group was going to kill Ryuuta for being annoying but they heard a hollows roar in the distance. One smirked and suggested to leave the boy for the hollows and they agreed and fled. Before Akiko could get to Ryuuta a hollow had already swooped at the chance for free food and the shinigami had to drag her away as Ryuuta screamed as he was devoured. The image of Ryuuta's dismembered and partially eaten corpse filled her nightmares every night as she became a shinigami and worked to not only kill hollows but one day execute those responsible for her brothers death.

She didn't join a squad and her Zanpakutō seemed to be formed from her guilt of letting Ryuuta die, making a copy of him from the last she saw him. The two got along rather well and as years passed they fought hollows that showed up and soon an odd hollow began to appear and always get away or completely avoid Akiko all together. She continued to train her skills in both gunslinging and Kido only to find herself lacking everywhere else, she began to practice her skills with her Zanpakutō as an average weapon and found that there was no end to her normal ammunition. Her training would continue for a few years only to encounter that hollow over and over again.

Soon the two faced each other, Akiko felt some sort of familiarity as she stared at the hollow that seemed to be an Asian dragon. The two stared at each other for a while longer before they began to fight. To conserve her energy she fired mostly regular ammunition, the dragon moved quickly and showed it's powers with teleportation before Akiko managed to shoot its mask, causing it to break way partially, she froze as she knew who the hollow was now. Ryuuta had become the very thing she had to destroy, she held her gun up and fired without looking. Knowing she missed was the least of her worries, as Ryuuta charged one last Cero something attacked them both. Akiko was knocked out after taking a few hits from the faster opponent and Ryuuta went down rather easily as well.

When she awoke Akiko found herself chained to a wall and several demons gathered around Ryuuta, as he struggled to break free from his chains as the demons chanted and raised a dagger and stabbed Ryuuta with it. All Akiko could do is watch as she saw her brother die a second time. The hollow was absorbed into the dagger leaving the dagger with a black glow. The demons approached Akiko chanting still and stabbed her with the dagger in the heart, she felt something seep into her body, as if being corrupted by it. She blacked out again and awoke back in the Rukongai, she didn't know what happened and decided to just head back to the Gotei. An odd feeling made her stop as she heard Ryuuta speak, calling her before telling her to let him out. The two just seemed to unable to cope with the sudden situation and as Akiko panicked, so did Ryuuta, the hollow mask forming and Akiko trying to stop it from doing so. Ryuuta didn't know what to do and didn't realize he was causing his sister harm. Kokai however knew exactly what to do. He found Ryuuta and told him that he needed to stop and Akiko would be fine.

In the end Akiko managed to pull the mask off but she had to learn to control it so Ryuuta didn't take control and panic. It took a few more years to finally gain that bond between brother and sister again, they agreed to help eachother and one day Ryuuta would be free and able to live as a plus soul again. Akiko joined the Vizard corps as soon as she was confident in her abilities as a vizard and she does what she can to not get killed and master her Vizard powers.
