[WORLD REFORMATION WAR] Journey to The West; War Manifests

There was something beautiful about a world where people seemed to utterly forget the most important details in life or death situations. What we had here was a rare moment of what we will call ‘deadly arrogance.’

Sou in most regards was an adept fighter, he had been through some major beatings that well could make any man want to curl up in a ball and cry, but no he used those loses as a platform to propel himself forward into (shady) tidings. But whatever fueled all of this had caused a veil to be cast over his eyes, either it was just not realizing the embedded power in Hayden or simply acting to quickly to make a point to our mild mannered hero Desmond. He completely and utterly mistake the aura around Hayden as him forcibly expanding his power when it was the opposite, his energy was being tightly condensed but due to the high volume and potency it was physically manifesting it’s self in a destructive aura of rage, reiatsu, and death matter. And that was only the beginning of the inevitable series of events that would lead to a series of downfalls for Sou.

Hayden had to admit Sou being able to react to his high speed movements were impressive even if he lagged a bit behind, for if it was true that this machine he was using was utilizing the moving of air around Hayden to predict his movements- he would find his movements would be a tad early because of the cloud around Hayden pushing the air before he was actually ‘arriving’ at the location. For in this swirling cloud of literal death was neither air or oxygen- it was another force and element all together that resided in both a metaphysical realm and physical one. This was a simple glance and explanation of death and its inner workings of the universe that Hayden was so graciously able to tap into with minimal effort now as his body secreted the substance in the world around him converting the air and matter around him with every movement. This would lead to a sort of mobile cocoon of energy and raw defense one would find it very unbeneficial to be inside if you weren’t Hayden- and considering this extended in a diameter of ten meters out from him it was going to be hard for Sou to fight him without getting inside.

Sou movements and counter attack was all well and good- normally this would utterly decimate Hayden legs and all the things attached leaving it crippled and just terrible. But. Sou had stepped into a domain he would not be finding himself gaining the upper hand in, for the moment he remained in the aura he would find every portion of him being attached at the atom and genetic level. How was this being done you ask? The death matter within the aura was doing it’s natural process which was covet anything that isn’t it or Hayden into death matter via latching onto the very essence of it allowing Hayden to begin the next process of his conversion process should he chose. But before Hayden could go in depth about that Sou made the mistake of grabbing Hayden leg. Believing he could crush the armor he didn’t truly attempt to crush it but rather allow his vibration powers do the work, but once inside the aura he would find the disturbing reality that he didn’t have near enough momentum or energy to perform this act as easily as he would think. In fact he would find his movements slowed in the energy as if he was moving through sludge.

At the point of contact of grabbing his armor Sou would find the conversion and attacked of his atoms being increased due to him now literally grabbing the source of the infection and holding on. The more effort he put into the vibrations the more the vicious assault on his being moved. Sadly, Hayden armor was still taking damage from the effect but not the wearer for his armor held a special utility- his armor was self reinforcing to allow him to deal with situations like this- all that kinetic force was being converted into raw death matter as the armor slowly but surely began to erode but not enough to warrant a threat- after all he would need the force of multiple nukes to break this armor. So with that being dealt with it was time to move onto some newfound offense with regards to his blade.

Hayden blade normally would have been pushed away but regarding the current circumstances of the death matter cloud around them impairing Sou powers and movement Hayden would easily be able to force his blade through the vibrations being sent out due to their minimal effect on the energy. So with Sou having grabbed onto Hayden leg and his defense failing him the only logical solution was for his blade to find it’s way deep into the flesh of Sou- Right through one of the arms holding onto Hayden. Now what was happening was Hayden blade arc downward towards the shoulder joint of Sou, finding minimal resistance due to the impaired nature of his powers particularly with him splitting his attention to assault Hayden armored leg and the sword strike.

Now Hayden had a very special Bankai ability when it came to regards with his Zanpakutō, something akin to what Sou attempted to do when he was aiming to utterly decimate and destroy Desmond leg beyond repair. But his was much more simpler to execute for all he had to do was tap into this ability through mental focus allowing his Zanpakutō to become a somewhat ethereal being more so than it already was. In fact for that mere moment his Zanpakutō was ascending past all known realms in the universe. As a blade shadow began to follow the blade if it made contact with Sou exposed flesh it would be like moving through butter despite the defenses he has up, unless what he had could prevent a weapon attack from his very tether to the cosmos and realms. If they blade made contact with Sou everything that the blade touched would be utterly destroyed and removed existence in a whole- neither dead nor alive simply gone from existing. This was a daunting ability to use however as once initiated it couldn’t be stopped till it made contact with something but the benefits it provided were quite useful as it was a ability that could go through defenses with relative ease on his level, it stumped regeners for a bit due to the would removing portions of them from existence rather than simply wounding them.

It would be at this time Hayden would twist his body violently as a growl escaped his lips, this was his domain of power afteral and if Sou hadn’t let go by now he would find the heavy atoms in the air beginning to squeeze in tighter on him as if they were trying to crush him. However, this wasn’t the case for what Hayden was doing was creating a instability inside of Sou and the air around him by violently moving the atoms building up energy that would soon be released. So as this was going on his body twisted enough to send his other leg into Sou arms to attempt to break them or at the very least break the hold on the by now decaying fingers. Provided he doesn’t have some type of advance or master pain endurance this could be related to being in a fired soaked in napalm for a normal human, his very atoms where being attacks to be turned into death matter along with them bonding to whatever they couldn’t simply outright convert.

If he was able to wrench himself free from the man before him Sou would be dealing with multiple attacks on different fronts, one being the death matter attempting to eat him, his atoms being smashed around violently building unstable explosive energy, and the two strikes Hayden had made in a sort of coup de grace due to his failed vibration attacks mostly coming him making the mistake of the aura around Hayden was simply for show. While normally Hayden would not want to deal with someone of this caliber up close due to the benefits for Hayden and debuffs for Sou in this bubble it was advisable to stay within melee range. Despite what Sou does he would find Hayden keep within a good fighting range of his sword, but what he was soon going to attempt would surprise the male perhaps.

With a closing of Hayden free hand directed at Sou he would begin to feel a pressure building up around him mostly from the unstable atoms now around and in him by this point. Hayden was using a signature technique of his called ‘Death Matter Bomb’ which as one would guess used death matter to invoke a bomb like explosions. However, there was much more to it than that- Sou would feel the kinetic force of multiple explosions on all sides of him making sure to thrash him around the aura of death matter with enough concentrated kinetic force to cause small tremors with each hit, in realty the size of the explosions where very condensed maybe half the size of Sou but from the immense heat and force being concentrated together this wasn’t an easy task. In fact if Desmond didn’t have a mastery over his focus and a damn near masterful control of his death matter this could have backfired horribly into a nuclear event like once in his life.

However, the small nuclearly blasts would be searing the skin of Sou and due to the volume of them it would be hard to dodge all of them but if he attempted to leave the aura he would find the explosions cutting his path off sending him right back into the fray. For Hayden’s one last event he would release the closed fist he had as the explosions would stop, but this wasn’t the all clear for Sou that pressure he was once feeling around him would now be all around him pulsing through his veins and very atoms as the death matter that once attacked him and attempted to latch onto his atoms would activate in the same fashion they did early except this time focused purely on his inner body- this would happen if he escaped the aura or not due to them having been implemented due to him staying in the aura.

In the grand scheme of everything Sou wanted to have a fight, a petty reason to start a war something that was utterly baffling and brought out the inner rage of the warrior. He was tired of this conflict already, he had mistaken Hayden early attempt at being tamed as being weak and naive in battle. He took Hayden attack at face value as any spectator may have soon and even Kayta herself-but there was a hidden agenda behind every action he had performed and now it was coming to fruition. Sou would find himself stuck in a sticky situation because despite what he was going to do there would be some damaging consequences to his early assumptions and ignorance. Hayden may have made mistakes in the past but he had been honing himself lately and he had learned from some of the best. The difference between Sou and Hayden was rather than taking a beating and calling that experience Hayden in his years went down a different path- one that involved learning and taking tutelage from some of the best. That was the fundamental difference between the two and whirl admittedly Sou combat experience is impressive; it was raw and unrefined.

Hayden could think about his emotion but right now it could all be summed with this: Sou was his target and that was all that mattered to him at the immediate moment.
