Frozen Monarch (Hero Quest)
Thu Jan 28, 2016 10:37 am
Sijel flew through the air gliding on the frozen wind as he neared his destination. It was a snow peak glistening white like his hair. He looked around quickly to see if he could find anyone in particular that could help him. He sent out a small swarm of butterflies to search the area immediately below him to make sure it was safe. The butterflies would signal him to danger, by exploding extravagantly like a flare through the woods if they were to find or be within proximity of anything deemed hostile. After a few moments he began to lower himself towards the ground.
The area was quite except for the wind which whistled loudly all around him. He looked diligenty as he searched for a sign of life near him. As he did so he reached behind him, under his vest allowing him to pull out an item given to him some time ago by an odd man, or thing. The skull laid on a stick lifeless as he held two pieces of broken staff. He remembered the fight and how he couldn't help the man all too much during his quick bout with the staff and then the monster from it. The animal that had laid dorment inside the staff seemed to be as dead as Sijel's companion dared to say it was.
The staff itself left sijel with a very ominous vibe as he held the pieces seperatley at his sides. He would wait here for now unless given some sort of signal or reason to leave for another set of diretions. Sijel took a deep breath and closed his eyes trying to focus on what he wanted to do if he met with this woman. He remembered the broadcast she sent out and how it gave him two things that he needed. One was someone who seemed to know a lot and could help him learn more about his powers and how to unlock new parts of them. The other was a place to put the staff he received. Hopefully he remembered what the man requested of him correctly.
Part of him though hoped that he would be able to attain the ability of the staff in it of itself if at all possible, but that would just be a bonus to him.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Those four letters represented what this baffled and confused demon was. It didn't look like this guy quite knew where he was, which was all but common for those who found themselves venturing upon this mountain. As everyone who climbed it sought to find their inner most self from the darkness of absent-minded living. Thus, the winds of faith would guide and stir this adrift spirits towards the path where he needed to be.
F O U N D .
A pair of oceanic eyes would appear through the mist and dispel the harsh winter winds from around them. After which, the busty figure of a aqua haired angel (whose hair was way too long; down to her waist even!) came into view before the traveler. As The Celestial's six frigid wings fluttered and swung about in the breeze, the stare of the five foot five woman became intense! Why? Because this here -- was a demon!
Demon's, the antagonist of angelkind and polar opposite of their existence. It was't often that Cirno found herself face to face with one whom wasn't a Devil Iramasha; much less one interesting in doing good. Many of her encounters with that race had been negative to say the least. From those who wanted to torture and abuse her, to those who wanted to do nothing but destroy for the hell of it; she certainly had her many run-ins with crazed, deranged and psychotic demons.
However -- there was hope that perhaps SOME semblance of understanding and connection could be made between the races. After all, while a group may have bad apples in the bunch, there WAS bound to be some good ones, right? Well, at least that is what Cirno hoped was right, anyway. As, on that principle, The Angel of The Ice would seek to open her heart and trust that this creature was not here to cause harm. It was risky, certainly, but he didn't seem to be causing trouble -- yet.
Thus, she would lean back, place each of her hands upon her knee length blue dress and observe the creature for a moment before deciding to interact with it. There was certainly an air of apprehension, but who could blame the girl? As the sounds of her bare feet crunching against the sound echoed around them, this sentiment wouldn't stop her from getting closer to the male before holding out her hand to him and uttering these placid words:
"You. You seem lost. We don't get many demons around here, so tell me, what brings a creature like yourself around here? Are you here to find your own symbol of heroism? I'd hope so."
Usually, The Celestial would be chipper and care free, but those negative experiences were still weighing down on her mind and she was cautious around this demon. There was an uncertainty in her heart and she wanted to tread carefully before opening up to him; unlike most of the other travelers who found themselves upon this mountain-top. So, for her, this would certainly be a lesson in faith and openness.
"As my name is Cirno Iramasha and I'm The Angel of Ice and owner of this summit. If you are here for good intentions, I'd be willing to help you in any way I can to find your path in this world and discover your heroic power."
Then, on that note, she'd await and observe what the male would say or do. No matter what, it was certainly going to be an interesting encounter between Angel and Demon.
