A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission] Empty A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission]

The unending noise of snow crunching under his feet and winds hollowing while snow flurries whipped about finally came to a stop when he reached the summit of the mountain. He had heard of a champion of heroes giving her knowledge away for free to the next generation, teaching them skills, helping them to become better so that they may help save this dying world.

The scarf over Carter's mouth did little to keep the cold out but it covered the majority of his face and cut the wind, showing only his pale white face, blue eyes and the bridge of his nose. The jacket he wore had a hood which covered most of his ivory white hair. His eyes were fixed on the building in front of him, the snow and winds cutting away from any real detail and making the out line vaguely stick out in the storm.

Still he felt his heart race and could feel sweat on his palms inside the thick gloves. Here he finally was, finally time to become stronger so his sword would strike true and strike fear into the darkness.

The snow began to crunch again when he walked forward, the space between each crunching noise getting shorter and shorter as he picked up pace and found himself running toward the house with total abandon, here he finally was, time had finally come for him to become stronger, to fight the big fights, to be the angel he was meant to be.

His hand trembled when he got to the door, stopping just before knocking and thinking that he might not be worth the time and effort. His Zanpakutō Nacuto scolding him instantly and reminding him how he had been chosen to transcend into one of the seven angels and now he would be chosen to be trained to get stronger to protect the world that he loved.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: Toby Fox - Song: Core - Word Count: 642

A kin! Yes, it is a kin! A kin, a kin, a kin!

Well, we are getting a bit ahead of ourselves, aren't we? To better describe that: Cirno sensed a fellow angel in the distance coming to her peak. The reason why she could detect this is because she had a natural affinity for the prowess of those whom are angelic and holy. Hence, for this fact, is why she felt the surge of another whom shared her element nearby.

This brought forth the emotion of joy, excitement and wonder because she hadn't had much time to spend with her fellow angels. As, when you are busying preparing for total war, stuck in a committed relationship, training an army and birthing new heroes -- you kind of have to kill your some objectives, right?

So, it was nice to see that a potential hero was emerging whom shared her alliance towards the light by default. Therefore, before he could so much as open the door, the starry eyed Iramasha leaped out of the door, jumped on his head and then poked his side with a giggle.

"Hehehe, you are an angel, right? I'm super excited to meet you. I can sense goodness inside of you already!"

Dancing around like a child on Christmas day, the Angel of The Ice seemed to dart around and hop at the feet of Carter before coming to a stop in front of him. With her white dress fluttering in the cold frigid breeze, her six frozen wings seemed to flutter and waltz around in the wake of being near another of her kind. It was certainly a joyous occasion indeed!

"So, Mr.Shinigami-Angel, what is your deal? Why do ya have such a cool light inside of you? Could ya perhaps be here for training or something?"

With a poke of his chest, the child like figure of Cirno would giggle and inspect him further. In quite the bubbly and hyperactive mood, the youth seemed to stand up and down on the tippy toes of her sandals as she made wonderful crunching noises in the snow beneath them. It didn't matter that it was an overcast and grey day, it was as warm and sunshine as a springs day in the mind of The Iramashsa. It wasn't every day she got to meet someone who wasn't an Iramasha the had angelic blood in them. So this was a pretty neat opportunity to get to know them better.

"Because if you are here for the training, I'm going to make that light within you shine like the sun and turn you into a proper angel!"

Exclaiming her intentions without the slightest sign of hesitation, The Angel then pointed at the face of the Shinigami, poked his nose and so affirmatively nodded her head at the logic of her purposes.

"So, ya might just get turned into an angel Iramasha like me if you are so willing, hehehe."

And with that she would then hold out her right hand and snicker once more before going on for the whole matter of formalities:

"But please, tell me your name, Mr! Mine is Cirno Iramasha: Champion of Justice and Heroine of The Ice!"

Giving off a grin as bright and energy-filled as the stars that twinkled in the cosmos itself, it was clear that this Iramashsa was quite thrilled and ecstatic to meet him and certainly gave off quite the hyperactive impression. How the Shinigami would take all of this was up in the air, but she'd hope he was open to such a thing. No point in letting talent like that go to waste!

A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission] Empty Re: A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission]

Fri Dec 18, 2015 10:09 pm
When the door opened and a small child like girl sped out at break neck speeds Carter found himself at a loss for words, she leaped onto him and clung to his head for a minute like a feral animal, making his his hood fall off. He could have moved out of the way because he felt her coming but when that door had opened it was like he saw a beam of light int he shape of a small human, it was pure, it was holy, it was so full of life, it caught him off guard.

Through the use of Intellectius Omnia he could see her as more than just a child, he could see her power and see if that the word holy was given a true finite form it would be her. He was so caught up in her light he only caught what she said after standing there awkwardly for a few seconds, "Yeah I'm an angel, but a weak one, I'm excited to meet you, I can see the holiness inside of you and I'm just.... amazed." He said, blinking as she danced around his feet, him moving to face her while she zig and zagged around his being. He was just stupefied standing there and blinking again to see her in her human form rather than her inner light, a small child with eyes bluer than his ever were, a white dress with a blue ribbon around the waist and six frozen icicle winglike structures hovering around her shoulders and lower back.

The strange wings seemed to have a mind of their own as they all moved around, hyper active like the child in front of him. She stopped in front of him and looked up as if she were looking deeply into him but she had that look on her face like a pent up energy bound child that was being forced to stand still, she looked as if she were just itching to run around and play all day.

Her questioning caught him off guard once again, " I got this light because I never give up I guess, The Truth found me worthy even when I couldn't find myself to be..." He said, his Zanpakutō bustling with anger as he doubted himself again, in his mind he could see the form of the rabbit eared woman, her scarlet eyes slits while she thought of a good way to be rated him for not having confidence in his abilities. "Yes I am here to train though, I'm here to do whatever I must to become stronger." He answered, a small smile on his face.

A small doll like finger poked into his chest and he heard a giggle come from the girl as she stood up and down on her tip toes, she crunched in the snow in her sandals but seemed blissfully unaware of the cold and to be honest it didn't really bother Carter much either since he was a spirit but old habits die hard, explaining why he was so bundled up.

She seemed to have not heard Carter answer as she went on and he laughed a little bit, "If you can make my light shine half as bright as yours I think I can actually do some good in this world for a change and be the proper angel you speak off." He commented, It sounded like he was joking but inside he felt that if he could be just a fraction of what she was he could do some real good in the world, some honest justice and hope could come forth. He could be a symbol of light.

Another finger found its way to his face, poking his nose.

is own left hand came up and his fingers hooked around the scarf, pulling it down to expose his face fully before he spoke, "I don't think spirits can be iramasha, I'm not sure Nacuto would be too keen to us getting out of sync and all." He laughed with the smile back on his face, his own hand shot out and he shoke her offered one, " I'm Carter but my friends call me Snow." He answered, "And I'm ready to learn!" he yelled with a bow, feeling more excited than he had in a long time. Maybe her energy was wearing off on him, maybe it was just that infectious but he didn't care, he felt like he had a purpose again.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: maritumix - Song: Fog - Word Count: 1537

Throughout all her dancing in the snow, the astral sense of The Angel could distinguish that a third eye was watching her. Indeed, there was something quite holy observing "the child's" inner light. For, it was quite true that this wasn't her true form, but Cirno much preferred the shape of a young spirit. As, to morph and regress into this being of childishness is to embrace a sense of freedom, unbound optimism for the world and view everything in an alluring shade of happiness that the marvelous and nostalgic days of childhood can only provide.

Of course, she could very well unveil her adult visage to the fellow Angel -- but she didn't feel quite up to that now. It was better to let herself have this fun and prance around in this appearance until the time was right. Therefore, she would then focus on the flattering words that the angel was uttering out at her. They were quite sweet indeed because of the fact he was able to see that true spiritual self.

So, the Angel of The Ice's cheeks would turn a slight shade of cherry red. Following that, a cough escaped her lips as she gave a slight, nervous laugh in response to his statements about her holiness. It felt oh so nice to be complimented on such a thing, but she really didn't wanna let her ego go wild with it. Henceforth, her face would just fall into a smile and she'd rub the back of her head timidly.

"The praise is really nice, Mr.Shinigami-Angel. But, don't forget, we all have the same potential to reach our greatest light! You aren't weak to me if you are willing to fight in spite of that! I admire that!"

As those embarrassed and cheery words rang out in a high-pitched tone, they did ring many truths within the Angel. Since, to her, it was a strong sense of character to have the conviction to fight against the unbound helplessness the great evils of the world imposed upon spirits. So, to see that flare within the fellow angelic soul was a sign that he would make a great hero. And, the more she saw that, the further The Frozen Child wanted to bring out his hidden promise to the world and make him realize his full potential.

"That's why Truth blessed you, Mr.Angel-Shinigami! I doubt that super-powerful-guy would bless you if he didn't see anything within you! That's why I believe fate has brought both of us here in order to bring that hope out! The world needs more of it and I want to help you find it!"

Following that buoyant statement, The Iramasha would once again leap in the air, tap his shoulder and hug the male so that more of her eager, confident and hopefully influence would pour into his mind. As, if there was one thing that was overwhelming about The Angel, it was the fact that her willpower was outright infectious if she let it run rampant. It had a knack of touching the hearts and minds of others in order to make them at ease, content, placid and outright happy and positive about themselves and the world.

And, from the perceived self-doubt that The Snow Child sensed, it was quite apparent to her that he needed more assurance from another in order to help blossom his spirit into something wondrous. That is why she ultimately carried forth with letting the ample energy from her soul take root in the world around them. She wanted to help Carter so badly that she just couldn't contain herself!

It was very imposing upon his personal space, but sometimes her greater desire to do good blinded Cirno to these boundaries. As, to her, all of her intents were in the name of just and she couldn't see any harm in trying to induce these feelings in other if it was for the greater good.

Nevertheless, though, she'd soon bounce back down to the ground and give another goofy smile in return to Carter. This was because the words he spoke were of concern of losing sync with his powers if she ever did transform him into an Angel Iramasha. Which, to her, was silly.

The reason why the giddy child even suggested him changing into an Iramasha is because there was a higher chance of him retaining his powers with how in sync he was with his spirit. But, not only that, it was also due to the fact that the male was angelic in nature and she was intending to convert the timid figure into a fellow Iramashsa Angel. It would be as if she were turning a simple bonfire into a raging forest fire with how The Angel perceived things!

But, again, there were boundaries and she wouldn't force it upon him -- despite how much The Frigid Youth wanted to. Therefore, she would give a firm nod of the head and fold her arms with her cheeks puffed out. With one last protest, she'd inform him of his chances before moving on to the next subject at hand:

"Well, it isn't in the rules that there can't be spiritual Iramasha! Humans have ghost, right? Why can't you be a holy ghost? There are silly biblical stories about it, why can't we make you one? You are an angel in spirit and it would be easy-peasy to help keep your sync and powers!"

Whew. She was beginning to go overboard with her excitement. That was for certain! So, she watched herself, let out a lively sigh and let loose her tensions with a giggle.

"But, if ya don't want that, I won't force ya, Mr.Angel-Shinigami. I just think you'd be more cute as an Angel Iramasha than a God of Death! It's so out of character!"

Then, she'd wave her arms in the air and just let it go. What he'd make of it was up to him at this point. For now, they needed to worry about getting this training on the road! Therefore, she was pleased to know the male's name and she'd pat his head all gentle-like as the angelic spirit bowed before her. Which, from the sense of false praise, made Cirno gush once more.

"N-now don't worry about doing all that, Mr.Snow! We've got work to do, hehehe."

Turning on the heels of her feet, The Angel of The Ice reeved up her energy and seemed to be tapping into something wickedly powerful. A heavy force of cleansing spirit could be sensed within the range and the earth seemed to quake with outright jubilation. It was if they were being showered down in celestial light and a pulsation of total heavenly pull could be felt throughout the range. Sensations of peace, wonder, positivity and awe may very well fall on all those whom were so much as within a mile of this location.

And, the reason for this would become unveiled soon enough. For, what rushed into the world around them was a link to a portion of heaven itself. Out of a vortex of great illumination would come a stunning world filled with misty tree tops, pristine trees and clear, wondrous skies for as far as the eye could see. It would be difficult to put into words, as the scenery was quite simple, yet there was a metaphysical sense of ultimate beauty about it that only the soul could paint as -- tranquil and graceful.

So, at this point, Cirno would grab hold of Carters hand and hope to latch on tightly to it as a rather joyous smile appeared on her face.

"Since you are a fellow Angel of Light, I've been given permission to allow you into a small piece of heaven! There, I can help make you strong and make your inner holiness oppose the forces of the dark you wish to oppose."

In that moment, despite having the form of a child, the voice of The Iramasha seemed to deepen, mature and seem quite older than her appearances let on. As, it felt as if a sense of her adult-form was coming out and she was beginning to let her true essence comfort Carter in the wake of this unconstrained world of blissful holiness. The borders of the soul seemed to mend, break down and become pure in this moment and she could feel the walls of herself opening up to this fellow angel in arms.

Apart of this consequence of heaven's door opening then induced the fact that there was nothing to hide and it was ok to let go if she felt the desire to. So, if he was open and willing, she would allow herself to ease and guide the male into heaven -- where their proper and true training could begin.

"Come."

A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission] Empty Re: A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission]

Wed Dec 30, 2015 9:02 pm
When he called her holy her pale white cheeks became a splash of red and Carter felt ashamed, he hadn’t meant to embarrass her. He was just so over come with her aura that he felt as if he was finally seeing one of the countless facets of the face of God.

She took the form of a small child but by the feeling he got from her she was ageless. He almost sensed a primordial energy in her which he assumed was the Iramasaha energy but he couldn’t be sure because she was only the second one he had ever met and she was vastly different and more powerful than the last one he encountered. She radiated a light of utter holiness yet she pranced around like a child with not a care in the world, she was so innocent and pure yet he had not a doubt in his mind that she had seen many evil things and stopped many worse than he could ever think of.

Her hand came to the back of her own head with a smile while she rubbed her scalp and he stood there awkwardly when she spoke.

Sorry I forget this, I am full of doubt.. it wasn’t always this way though, not until Malaysia.” He said quickly while thoughts of a shinigmai infused with demonic blood flooded his mind. “I was weak then and couldn’t save one of my own people who had been damned, I could see self hatred in her but she could have been saved if I was stronger. Now she is one of them.

He looked back at the small girl just in time to catch her flying up at him with a light tap on his shoulder followed by a tight hug. The hug was electrifying, like a million fires touched him when she embraced him but they didn’t burn, they didn’t destroy. They created life in him rather than fear, filling him with such a profound sense of purpose his doubt from just a moment ago was almost completely washed away, all the thoughts that had been haunting him since Malaysia finally beat down and quieted.

With the hug he could even feel his Zanpakutō tremble in awe. He felt so at peace that he wanted to fade sit down and take a deep breath, like a breath he had pent up for months, but at the same time he felt lit with energy and pride, like a solider getting s speech right before battle to fill him with vigor. He wanted to train, to fight, to grow, all from one hug that was infused with energy so pure and holy it made him weak.

If you help me find my hope I’ll never make you doubt it.” He stated, as if swearing an binding oath. He almost wanted to fall to one knee and pledge his power and life to this child just from the infectious energy she was sharing.

As soon as that thought took root though he felt his knees get a little weak and he almost buckles just form the sheer amount of her spiritual pressure. It was stunning but unlike most that make you fall down and feel sick to your stop from the gravity of it this energy made you want to fall to your knees and worship it, to bask in it so maybe it would rub off on you.

He found himself free of her embrace as she bounced down to the snow, within seconds she nodded her head and crossed her arms with her cheeks puffed out like a child who was told they weren’t getting a sweet. She once again gave him the choice to become like her, saying it should be easy to keep him in sync and he smiled something divine had pushed him here so if that was what the heavens wanted he wouldn’t decline.

How about this, when you get to know me better and after we get some training done if you still feel the need to turn me into one of your own I will accept. I’m not opposed to doing what needs to be done to gain the power I need to fight the darkness.” He offered with a nod in return to her, crossing his own arms and trying to be funny.

She sighed and giggled before making a comment about him being cuter as one of her own than a god of death and he felt like laughing at her joke, she just had that affect on him already and he hardly knew her. If this person smiled he smiled, if she was serious he would be serious. She looked years younger than him but he felt like he was in front of an older sister that he looked up to and wanted to have validation from.

Tapping his head she lightly scolded him once more before rapidly turning on the balls of her feet and unleashing a massive amount of cleansing energies, they were so pure it felt like Carter was standing in a spring meadow in early spring, not on a bleak mountain top in a snow storm. The air itself seemed to pulsate and reality appeared to distorted at the edges when her energy flowed out. In front of him a portal opened to a world he had never set foot in before but had dreamed of every second of every day. Before she even spoke he knew what he was looking at and he felt the air catch in his lungs, unable to catch a breath. His hands trembled and his eyes felt misty as he looked at the landscape through the opening, he was only barely aware of her taking his hand and speaking, his eyes locked onto the beauty in front of him.

He was snapped back to reality when she said she was given permission to allow him into this piece of heaven, her voice turning deeper, older, it felt right despite coming from a child. She was ushering him into peace. He could almost feel his soul becoming a part of the surroundings and it didn’t scare him, it felt right and he didn’t fight it. He felt like he had just made a connection with Cirno more than just a friend, more like a long lost family member. Like he was for the first time looking at a sibling he had always knew existed but never met.

She spoke one word, an order for him to come forth and he listened with all abandon. He walked through the portal and into heaven. All of his worldly worries left behind outside of the portal. Once he was through he knew it had closed but he didn’t care, he could stay in this small space forever and be content. He would only be here to train but he was blessed to be here at all, within seconds he turned from an awe struck worshiper to a level headed man, his eyes turning to Cirno. In them his self doubt had vanished leaving only the flame of determination when he looked at her, his shoulders squared and his back straight, his chin held up right. The weight and pressure of self hatred and guilt gone he could finally truly focus on the task at hand, on becoming a hero.

I’m ready.” He proclaimed calmly.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: MASSIVE ATTACK - Song: What Your Soul Sings - Word Count: 1194

Due to the fact that each of their souls were bonded in that moment, Cirno couldn't help but feel the shame and embarrassment which came from the male. As she ventured further into the insight of this feeling, it appeared that Carter felt rather abashed based in the fact that the fellow celestial believed he humiliated The Angel of The Ice. Which, to her, seemed rather silly. And, she'd make that known as the Iramasha gave a gentle laugh while slapping the back of the death god.

"Hehe, don't be shy. I'm not broken up about it, Mr.Carter. I'm just flattered is all. Relax!"

Snickering in between her words, it was clear that she found the awkwardness within the male to be rather charming. There was a certain amusement she got from watching him become so flustered and clumsy over her. So, to help him ease up further, rays of light continued to exude from her spiritual essence and embedded themselves into Carter. This was done in the hopes that her aura would act as calming agent meant to ease his doubts and allow the best of his personality to arise to the surface without such stiff self-criticism.

However, even if that feat failed, one of the things that Cirno did want Carter to know is that it was okay to be filled with that same hesitation and uncertainty which flew adrift within his soul. For many spirits are filled with that same reluctance, but it either takes the power within themselves, or the hand of another, to help work past it and awaken to a higher-self after it. Which, ultimately, is the reason why Cirno felt she was here to begin with.

Therefore, as Carter began to confide in Cirno about his weakness, she would only shake her head and disagree with that sentiment whole heartily. The reason being is that, even despite the odds, the male still possessed the inward strength within to carry on and fight in spite of how outmatched he was. That took a form of courage which was powerful in it of itself.

And, from that display of valor, The Angel of The Ice felt that she to should be more upfront. Hence, her form started to shift and change as she went to place her tender hand upon the fellow celestial's shoulder. In that space in time, the influence of heaven forming all around them caused the once small girl to grow, expand and blossom into a fully developed woman.

With her ocean hair overflowing all around the two, the mature state of Cirno smiled down upon The Vizard and uttered these words words to him

"Don't worry about that. You tried your best. There are many numerous souls who would not have the tenacity to stand up such evil. So long as you stand up to face that same fight again, you'll find your wings soon. I'm assured of that fact and will do all that is in my power to help you find that."

As the sentences flowed out one after another, the placid tone of the angel's voice was completely altered and made different from her childish form she once possessed none too long ago. There was a sense of serenity, gentleness and affectionate pitches intermixed within it as trace hints of her youthful tone hid behind that.

It was the hallmark trait of her admixture between the openness of a child and the expanding mind of a fully formed adult mind to form a spirit capable of great empathy and understanding of spirits. One befitting an angel of light and one able to save said souls in the process.

Which is why her celestial embodiment felt further satisfied and whole when the male started expressing such sentiments as peace and happiness when her angelic prowess began to ease the tensions of his inner most self. As, to assist in making another soul glare as brightly as the heavens was something which made her want to continue further down this path of righteousness and pursue her goals until her mind and body could no longer do so.

Thus, when the male uttered such notions of her helping to find his hope, Cirno could do nothing but give a firm nod of the head and speak these words back to him:

"I have faith you won't let my trust in you down. I can feel the light within you wanting to come out and I'll be that hand which helps it come out. So do not worry about such things so long as you put forth the effort to improve and become the best person you can be, Carter."

Even as his knees buckled and quivered under the weight of heaven's almighty grasp, so long as the fellow Angel had that desire to empower himself, the faith of Cirno could work with that and help him become the strongest version of himself. As, this strength did not solely come from her, but the manifestation of his determination to proceed onward in this life of trials, challenges and hardships.

Which is why when the male soon started speaking of Cirno's desires to turn him into an Iramasha, she could only do nothing but laugh because she wasn't going to force that upon Carter. In order for him to bridge that gap between species, that ambition must come from his own heart.

Sure, she would love to see such light on her side as an angel Iramasha, but the fellow celestial possessed a strong soul even without it and she'd do whatever was in her grasp of power to bring that out in the form he had now.

"Do not worry yourself with that. You may choose whatever path you deem best along our journey. That is the power of choice and I'll support you on whichever route you feel is most suited towards your desire."

With that acceptance given, the two of them would then find themselves intermixing, becoming one and being emerged into the whole purity which was heaven. As, all around them, the holy force would seek to empower each of these celestial's and fill them with new life, strength and energy to carry on. Which is why, when they arrived in this realm, the first thing that Cirno would speak of is this:

"Since you are an agent of the light, you will find yourself becoming attuned to this realm and becoming stronger the longer you spend within it and train. Which is why I want you to bare your soul to me, release your strongest form and thrust your desires to the heavens around us so that we may embed the light within you."

Once uttering those words, the Angel of The Ice would then spin on her feet, stare back at Carter and wait for him to begin their quest into divinity...

A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission] Empty Re: A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission]

Sun Jan 17, 2016 8:12 pm
Her energy did what it was supposed to do, it soothed him and put him at peace, she spoke and he quietly listened, not having a word to respond with anymore. The time for him to talk was over, but the time for him to listen and to grow, that time had just started.

Already he could feel himself gaining in strength in this section of heaven, this realm was on the same wave length as him and for once the energy in the air didn't feel off, it felt like a home he never knew he had missed. It felt like the place he had yearned for his entire life and was just now finding.

She wanted him to bring out his most powerful form and something told him that now, now was the time for Bankai, Nacuto appeared before him in the heaven realm, the world vanishing in a dense fog only to be remade into the never ending Castle interior that was his inner world. The rabbit eared woman smiled at him while she held her smoking pipe in her hand, rose petal colored smoke wafting out haphazardly. "For the past one hundred something years I have been waiting for this moment, this moment where you finally stop worrying about how weak you are, how much you have failed, how little you have done, for one hundred years I have sat by and hoped this day would come. I have wanted to slap you, I have cried over you not believing in our power, I have given up only to come back more times than I can count, but now I can sense it. Now I can sense the page flipping so I can give you this, I can give you the power of our Bankai." She whispered quietly, her strain lock of black hair coming down over her sheet white face and covering her scarlet eyes.

Before he could respond to what she said he found himself on his knees, Nacuto holding the sword version of herself in her right hand, the smoke pipe gone. She touched his right shoulder with the blade and power coursed through him, his eyes widening, then she lifted the sword up and brought it our his head to come down on his left shoulder, more power coursing through him. He felt as if he was just knighted by a queen and when he looked up she was gone, he was looking at the adult version of Cirno, he could feel the blades of grass brushing his knees lightly, wind rushing through his hair and making his white locks fall into his eyes.

With a quick breath he stood up, now looking up at Cirno instead of down and he focused on what had just happened to him. He focused on the aura of this place and how in an instant it had caused him to evolve. Use me too... A voice whispered in his mind, a voice that was his own and yet someone else's, some part of it being The Truth that gave him his power. In a rush of energy he was bathed in a white light, his clothing from the mountain trek vanishing to be replaced by his haidate, a lower section Japanese styled armor, the thigh guards tied around his waist and covering his thighs. These were made from rich white and gold cloth with small steel and leather plates of various size and shape, most either in a square pattern but dyed an amber and rose coloring with the white cloth under showing through, the other shapes being circles with seven stars set inside them in the gold and white coloring mentioned before. They were connected to each other by golden hexagonal chain and sewn to the cloth.

A long white robe would fall over his shoulders and cover his chest piece and gantlets, the white fabric seeming to glow just a bit. In the white light he would furrow his brow just a bit as he released this state and went to the next, to his angelic state. The robe that had just covered him reforming into wings that attached to his back at his shoulder blades through slits in his armor, as they finished creating themselves they took on true bird like form, like a snow owls with white feather speckled in golden sections, the wings out stretched, the tips being four teen feet from one another as they flapped, loosening up before the next step. His chest swelled up with muscle and his arms thickened from the same influence as his body aged to that of an adult man in his late 20's. His white hair lengthened into a pony tail being held in place by a golden band that had the same seven stars as his armor. When he opened his eyes the light seemed to go into them, changing the blue orbs to white and gold, making them appear to see more than anyone should be able to see.

It would be one thing to use his Bankai for the first time, it would be taxing, but something told him to go angel form first, to resonate with this realm even more and indeed he did. The second he took on this form he found he could breathe easier and his body felt light like the wind, energy coursed through his veins and a faint glow radiated off of him passively.

With the crack of his neck he brought his left hand up with Nacuto clasped firmly in his grip, the flat of the blade covering half of his face as it pointed upward toward the sky. "Bankai" He ordered, the order was to himself, to his soul, to his Zanpakutō, to everything that stood in his way, it was an order to watch out, an order to look at him, an order to notice him and fear the light he would bring to the dark places.

The air around him did the opposite of what it should have for someone going Bankai, it felt lighter, even more peaceful than it had already when he entered, it felt pure, the grass seemed a shade darker and the dirt smelled richer just from him standing there and going Bankai. He could feel his power growing even more than it had already in his released angel state. He could feel his limbs strengthening exponentially.

When he was done his gold eyes fixated on Cirno and he spoke, his words coming out deep and multi faceted, as if a woman and man were speaking, rich and deep yet crisp and light. "I'm ready. teach me master."

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: Manabu Namiki - Song: Battle Field "Cisco Town" - Word Count: 1291

The transition into a world of fog and mist didn't catch Cirno by surprise, but she knew that it was going to lead into interesting places. The reason being is because the fellow Celestial in arms had a strong sense of divine impulse generate from his inner world. This then signified to The Frigid Heroine that an immense change was underway within the embodiment of the spirit of Carter. Therefore, she would fold her arms and simply observe for now.

That was -- until a rabbit eared woman emerged from the mist. From the looks of it, she assumed it was simply his zanpukto spirit. So, from that guess, Cirno believed a trigger had been unlocked inside of the male by being within heaven's glorious grasp. Therefore, she smiled and seemed at ease from this occurrence taking place. So, this would allow her the opportunity to listen and her the words in which his spiritual partner, Nacuto, uttered out to him.

And, from what his blade spoke of, it appeared that he did indeed activate the needed crux to achieve the next plateau of power needed to realize his evolution into angelhood. Thus, in return, Cirno could only nod her head and agree with what was stated by Nacuto. As, more than anything else, she wholeheartedly stood for what everything this Zanpukto was speaking about.

"See? All you needed you was faith in yourself and the strength to move on."

It was a short comment, but it summed up the lesson quite well for Carter. He was an angel of the light, so he needed to believe and push himself further past his limits for his true holy nature to be unleashed upon the world. So, there was no doubt in Cirno's mind that she could tap into that potential, reach into his inner holiness and bring forth a powerful spirit of righteousness to further put the balance of light back into the world they live in.

But, as he transformed and she saw his body become altered by this holy force, the senses of The Angel of Ice seemed to be somewhat taken back by curiosity. The cause of this had been because she to had heard the almighty voice of Truth. And, from this heavenly presence, Cirno was seen blinking as she had never heard or felt his influence in the manner that it was displayed through Carter's ascension. As, for her, it was the first time she ever sensed his power and it was quite alluring for even a Celestial of her magnitude.

Henceforth, Cirno was further assured that she made the correct move in training this fellow brethren of holiness in heaven. For, with that kind of blessing, it would certainly help to accelerate and increase the rate in speed in which his powers could blossom and grow. For, by the time he was done transforming, the frigid heroine already understood what needed to be done and how this training was going to go. Therefore, as he adorned the garments of an Angel, and asked for her teachings, The Celestial of The Ice stepped forth and smiled upon him.

"You've done well for yourself. Feel proud of your strength and where you are about to go."

With a gentle pat on the shoulder given, Cirno would congratulate the male for his break through and begin the explanation into his next phase of training:

"Now, your next task is to begin absorbing and letting the energy of this world flow through you and allow it to become one with you. Envision yourself as a sentient plant and allow the rays of this world to fill with you light, life and power. Then, retain it and level off your new fond strength at a stable level."

Demonstrating this by breathing in and out herself, The Angel of The ice appeared to slip into a slight trance and allowed the particles of energy associated with the Heaven Realm to stream inward into her body. By doing this, the natural affinity she possessed for the heavenly power around them consumed this strength, infused it into her body and stored it for lighter in order to gradually empower Cirno over time. This would then be physically shown as her body would emit a silver glow during this duration of time to show the many flickers of light gushing into her being.

"Izayoi Sakuya, my mother, showed me this realm and is where she taught me to be as strong as I am now. The longer you inhabit this dimension, the more powerful you will become as you push and train your body to the limit. This has been one of my secrets and I feel I can share it with you because none of my other pupils up until this point have had such a strong angelic lineage to them."

From this deliverance of information should come the awareness of why Cirno wanted to convert him into an angel Iramasha to begin with. For, if he went through with that act, she believed that his ability to adapt, ascend and evolve would be that much greater with the added element of being a full angel with the mark of Truth. But, she would not force him down that path if he did not yearn for that change. Instead, she would motion for him to come and attack her to get the ball rolling.

"Now, this may be difficult, but I want you to come at me, while at the same time meditating and maintaining your harmony. Focus on the trials you've faced, the evils you've witnessed and attempt to find your sense of self and desire. For, once these tools have been molded into you, you'll find a need to use them as strength and birth a magnificent power to rise above this universes darkness and transcend into a proper angel."

Of course, that was a lot to digest, but it was important information that needed to be passed. Without it, there would be no guidance to her pupil and he would be left in the lands of confusion and unable to progress with this training without it. So, having made that critical statement clear, one could begin to understand why her tone of speaking became fluent, composed and tranquil as she herself was using this as an opportunity to further and advance her strength with this pensive training session.

"Remember: become one with the land around you, let it make you whole and allow every fiber of your being to flow naturally with the universe around you. Only then will you be able to attain a sacred defense and power. For, if your body is able to react without you thinking, there is less cause for tension and more time for reaction. Ingrain that in your conscious and essence and it will help you avoid and endure my attacks with great reflex and might."

With that said, even though her body was so relaxed, The Angel of The Ice seemed to move backwards and mended herself into the wind. As, with another gust of air, she was seen standing with her legs spread out and palms pressed together as if she was praying to the gods. Her eyes then closed, breathing steadied and body loosened further as an alluring sense of ocean blue and snow white colors swirled around her body.

It was clear: she was ready for combat and a single smile and phrase was all that was needed to commence the training:

"Now come~"

The power coursing through his was so exhilarating it made Carter want to run miles, fight hordes of demons, climb mountains (which ironically he had already done today). It was almost addicting as he looked down at his hands and closed them into fists and opened them back up, repeating the process a few times, feeling the power in every fiber of his being. With that done his lesson would begin as Cirno began to speak, telling him to become one with the world, like a plant so he could absorb as much energy as he could.

Wanting to waste no time he would listen to his mentor, walking over to a nearby tree and laying his bare hand on the bark. His feet would slip out of his wooden sandals, his bare feet digging into the rich dirt. His hands felt the stiff bark of the tree, it felt alive with energy, his feet in the cool dirt and grass of the earth that tingled with radiant power. Once done he felt more attuned with the environment, enough so that he could close his eyes and with his hand still on the tree he would begin to think of himself as a new tree growing beside the one next to him, his limbs being powerful branches in his mind, his feet buried in the dirt would become deep reaching roots in his minds eye.

The wind would course around him, filling his leaves with such life, turning them a deep emerald color, the vibrate force of life in the earth would empower him, making him feel stronger by the second, making him feel as indomitable as a mountain, the light warming his skin, making his soul dance in pure enjoyment as more power pushed its way into him, the grass tickling his ankles, it was like an over load to his senses, in his mind he was a young tree absorbing energy and becoming a strong oak in moments, while in reality his body seemed firmer, his skin looked lighter, he almost had a glow around him like the force of life itself was residing in his being.

It was humbling and at the same time empowering, he could understand why this energy had caused some to go insane and become tainted, it was so alluring. The spirit of Azai would chide him though, keeping him focused so he wouldn't go down the path of power, wouldn't become possessed with the need to be so powerful that the world would need to bow down and worship him, power for powers sake was wrong, it was corrupting. This though, this was pure and it felt soul lifting. With that wrapping up his eyes would open and the world would appear even more beautiful than it had just a moment before when he closed his eyes, now the air itself seemed to shimmer with energy and he could feel the crackle of it so lightly on his skin.

He would listen to Cirno and her demand, she wanted him to attack her, wanted him to come at her with peace, with harmony, she wanted him to recall all of his failures and past short comings and release the hold they had on him so he could ring true. She wanted him to find his purpose so he could discover his role, she wanted him to have balance and in his heart of hearts he wasn't worried he would harm the angelic woman. He knew she was safe so he would listen to her order, thoughts of Malaysia coming to his mind but not the pain they used to bring, thoughts of failing to protect those he cherished coming to the surface but the crippling guilt no longer holding him, thoughts of what he wanted to do in this world, excitement coming at the idea of being one of the heroes this world was in dire need of. Exhaling he would unleash the cap on his power, golden light pouring out of him before he came forward, his speed one with the wind, his body as light as the air as he glided over the grass, his will power as deep and unmovable as the deep earth beneath his feet, his limbs as strong as the trees when his sword came up, Azai gleaming in the warm sun light. His sword work graceful like the water that flowed through the streams in this realm as his hand came down, guided by the force of the holy light. His purpose true now in his heart, his calling finally becoming clear.

All his life he had been a soldier, a nameless fighter in a never ending war. Even when he was given the power of an angel he became the weakest of the seven, bu now as he came at his mentor he could feel the mantle of leadership pressing upon his brow in his mind, he could feel that his purpose wasn't to follow anymore, no he was meant to lead, to help stamp out the darkness seeping so deep into his world.

The thought was enlightening and up lifting, lending power to his strike, making him attack more out of instinct than of calculated thought. He felt as if the Zanpakutō was melded into his arm, the sword and extension of his own being, and that had been true his entire life but he had never thought of it, in the moment he realized it it had truly become so, the weapon seeming to move before he thought to attack, his arm going where it went, his body moving with the same grace now that his sword work held. This was the moment, this was the catalyst needed to start his training. This was what Cirno was trying to push out of him so he could evolve in a sense and become more than he ever thought he would. His eyes found her standing in front of his oncoming attack with a smile and he found on his face he held the same smile.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: SU Soundtrack - Song: Opal Theme - Word Count: 683

The flow of the universe was all but natural to Cirno in this moment of enlightened mind and being. It is for this reason why she was becoming attuned to the fact that Carter himself was beginning to meet her on this equal ground of consciousness. For, with his spirit and senses morphed into one with the world around him, only then could he have a chance to keep up with the kind of villains and brutes whom rule this existence with an iron fist.

Therefore, The Celestial dared to put hope in the fact that he could begin to sense the ripples of current in the space around them. As they would divulge the path associated with the fluid movements Cirno took to charge her foe. As, when the strong breeze blew over the area, as to did The Iramasha mend herself to that current of air and move with to become one with nature itself.

Having further experience and knowledge of this type of movement, it was only natural that Cirno would have the edge in this spat. So, while his momentum was superb, it wasn't quite enough to pierce the whole of The Angel. Instead, only a mere scratch would come to the right side of her flank. Yet, in that slight moment, he was indeed making progress. Therefore, she would whisper these words into his mind:

'Let the light guide you. Allow it to form it's almighty plan and grant it permission to deliver you as close as it can to victory.'

Without so much as a single movement had from her mouth, the telepathic echoes of The Celestial's mind bounced from the air around them and into the consciousness of Carter. These lessons were meant to allow the holy spirit within himself take root of the male's desires. And, from these desires, they would understand his intention and achieve sentience of their own. All of this was done in order to deliver him to that glorious path of perceived triumph.

Thus, even Cirno herself would let go and grant her body permission to do as it saw fit. Not being weighed down by the heaviness of her minds active thoughts, the prowess of her ethereal instinct took over. And, when it did, this heavenly force gave but a gentle tap of the palm to the male's center back. Not enough to maim him, but enough to make him alert and aware that he was exposed and defenseless. Pressure would flow throughout his body and it should certainly tap into it's otherworldly intuition

'For when you do, the secret to your new form's power will be unveiled and I assure you'll find control of your ascended state.'

Then, through the whispering call of yet another gale of gust, Cirno traveled through the currents of air, emerged before Carter and delivered four more of these taps towards his sternum, pectorals, ribs and liver. In turn, she was expecting to test the limits of his bodies reaction and see if he could indeed master the lesson so she thoroughly explained to him. For, if he could not, then a world of pain, hurt and injury was coming his way.

As, like a cactus in the wind, he'd be blown away and sent hurdling backwards on his behind to the earth beneath their feet. Heaviness would set in if his mind failed to stay focused, while his body may groan, ache and fill writhe with depleted energy. All the while, each of the spots that were targeted would surge well with pain and induce a feeling of hurt upon the male.

Thus, with all of these factors stacked on top of him, the question remained: just how would he adapt, evolve and cope to the situation? This training was meant to push that and help him to reach the goal of enduring the push of mighty attacks.
