A Time to Flourish [Hero Quest Mission]
Thu Dec 17, 2015 7:35 pm
The unending noise of snow crunching under his feet and winds hollowing while snow flurries whipped about finally came to a stop when he reached the summit of the mountain. He had heard of a champion of heroes giving her knowledge away for free to the next generation, teaching them skills, helping them to become better so that they may help save this dying world.
The scarf over Carter's mouth did little to keep the cold out but it covered the majority of his face and cut the wind, showing only his pale white face, blue eyes and the bridge of his nose. The jacket he wore had a hood which covered most of his ivory white hair. His eyes were fixed on the building in front of him, the snow and winds cutting away from any real detail and making the out line vaguely stick out in the storm.
Still he felt his heart race and could feel sweat on his palms inside the thick gloves. Here he finally was, finally time to become stronger so his sword would strike true and strike fear into the darkness.
The snow began to crunch again when he walked forward, the space between each crunching noise getting shorter and shorter as he picked up pace and found himself running toward the house with total abandon, here he finally was, time had finally come for him to become stronger, to fight the big fights, to be the angel he was meant to be.
His hand trembled when he got to the door, stopping just before knocking and thinking that he might not be worth the time and effort. His Zanpakutō Nacuto scolding him instantly and reminding him how he had been chosen to transcend into one of the seven angels and now he would be chosen to be trained to get stronger to protect the world that he loved.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST
Artist: Toby Fox - Song: Core - Word Count: 642
A kin! Yes, it is a kin! A kin, a kin, a kin!
Well, we are getting a bit ahead of ourselves, aren't we? To better describe that: Cirno sensed a fellow angel in the distance coming to her peak. The reason why she could detect this is because she had a natural affinity for the prowess of those whom are angelic and holy. Hence, for this fact, is why she felt the surge of another whom shared her element nearby.
This brought forth the emotion of joy, excitement and wonder because she hadn't had much time to spend with her fellow angels. As, when you are busying preparing for total war, stuck in a committed relationship, training an army and birthing new heroes -- you kind of have to kill your some objectives, right?
So, it was nice to see that a potential hero was emerging whom shared her alliance towards the light by default. Therefore, before he could so much as open the door, the starry eyed Iramasha leaped out of the door, jumped on his head and then poked his side with a giggle.
"Hehehe, you are an angel, right? I'm super excited to meet you. I can sense goodness inside of you already!"
Dancing around like a child on Christmas day, the Angel of The Ice seemed to dart around and hop at the feet of Carter before coming to a stop in front of him. With her white dress fluttering in the cold frigid breeze, her six frozen wings seemed to flutter and waltz around in the wake of being near another of her kind. It was certainly a joyous occasion indeed!
"So, Mr.Shinigami-Angel, what is your deal? Why do ya have such a cool light inside of you? Could ya perhaps be here for training or something?"
With a poke of his chest, the child like figure of Cirno would giggle and inspect him further. In quite the bubbly and hyperactive mood, the youth seemed to stand up and down on the tippy toes of her sandals as she made wonderful crunching noises in the snow beneath them. It didn't matter that it was an overcast and grey day, it was as warm and sunshine as a springs day in the mind of The Iramashsa. It wasn't every day she got to meet someone who wasn't an Iramasha the had angelic blood in them. So this was a pretty neat opportunity to get to know them better.
"Because if you are here for the training, I'm going to make that light within you shine like the sun and turn you into a proper angel!"
Exclaiming her intentions without the slightest sign of hesitation, The Angel then pointed at the face of the Shinigami, poked his nose and so affirmatively nodded her head at the logic of her purposes.
"So, ya might just get turned into an angel Iramasha like me if you are so willing, hehehe."
And with that she would then hold out her right hand and snicker once more before going on for the whole matter of formalities:
"But please, tell me your name, Mr! Mine is Cirno Iramasha: Champion of Justice and Heroine of The Ice!"
Giving off a grin as bright and energy-filled as the stars that twinkled in the cosmos itself, it was clear that this Iramashsa was quite thrilled and ecstatic to meet him and certainly gave off quite the hyperactive impression. How the Shinigami would take all of this was up in the air, but she'd hope he was open to such a thing. No point in letting talent like that go to waste!
