This thread is officially open to everyone once the official event is approved. Otherwise, this thread now only acts as the beginning/catalyst to it.

Crack, crack. Clear whispers in the sky when the skies in every realm continued to crack, and only the realms which is protected were not affected by this.. democracy, it seemed, however, even under the protection of the barrier, behind their holy protection, an undying force can be felt scattered throughout the land. Fear, death, hatred, all negative emotions seems to spray right out of the energy, while it continuously pours right out of the cracks like a never-ending waterfall. Man and machine, both took the impact of the energy that poured right on their homeland, threatening not only their people, but their homes too. At this point and time, all organization across the world and realm, leaders and members are alerted of the threat upon them, and today was the day that true war began. At first, the cracks had nothing more than energy relentlessly pouring out in order to surround the skies, the realms and the so-called 'Earth' in an almost blackening sky, now met with a new force, which is 'people'. Unlike the Black World, these 'people' from the other side of the world are no longer the mirrors, the inverses of their original hosts, and now an independent beings who run their own ideals and will to move on, regardless of the intentions or powers they hold. So, with now the previous Black World collapsed, now a new one appears? Not exactly either. Instead of a new 'Black World', it is better named as the 'Other World', not just the beings of the Black World that exists in this war, but other alternate dimensional beings that intends to invade the place, and of course, if such issue happens, where is the 'core' just like any other places to run the invasion? Actually, there is none, no one other than a single threat, a single host, one person that runs the show and yes, you've guessed it: The Nightmare, Sou Yuuki.

From the cracks above the skies of Earth, a huge ball of fire seems to be flying down near the Karakura Central, moving at extreme speeds, it has enough velocity to crash into the land and obliterate the ground with crater compared to that of a small meteor's. And once it landed? A loud sonic boom shattered any nearby buildings that placed near the destruction from miles, with a shockwave that could land the surroundings around the impact cleanly flat like a pancake. Not only that, the huge vibration of sounds that rang off of the explosion could be heard from hundreds of miles, enough to reach Karakura City and let the civilians listen to the sweet melody of destruction from afar. It isn't a meteor, it isn't some nuclear bomb test, it is literally the warning of an incoming war that shall threaten them and their people. Earth shook and huge boom across the earth, the center of the crater would unleash a huge blast of smoke from the aftermath of the crash, and what lies in the center is nothing more than a person, a human, to be exact. Standing about 6 foot tall, and an average figure of his shadow, the second that the smoke had cleared out, the eyes of those who spectated this disaster had only one clear target that meets the threat; Sou Yuuki, the Nightmare.

Tall figure standing in the midst of the crater, his red hair was the first characteristic visible to men and women who is there to see what happened at the site of the crash. The first sight of his appearance would only strike fear to their souls, even the warriors who witnesses his very figure, a force that they should not trifle with even at the slightest possibility of doing so. His average figure was not anything that outstanding at all, however, looking a bit different than he was before his apparent death, which was the original's death, what stands in the crater is both THE original Sou Yuuki, and the Inverse as well. This was known as an extremely rare case of merged consciousness, even after death. Sure, the original's soul is completely obliterated, no traces nor atoms left of his existence after dying at the hands of Shadin, however, his Inverse existed due to the energy that lingers within Earth, the beholder of that energy is a certain girl, with its identity yet to be identified, but that made it possible for his mirror to exist, and allowing his consciousness to once again mould, from the sheer willpower that once holds his former memory of the countless corpse he has stacked up beneath his feet, the destruction by his bare hands, and countless sins he had committed, and finally, his life ended and thought it could go back to peace again, with hopes of being reincarnated with a whole new identity, memory and soul, but that wasn't the case. Instead, reincarnated as the representation of destruction itself, and with a new 'body' being reincarnated, not only his essence had reacted to it, it simply sparked a new life within the Inverse, using the former memories of the original, only to now create the current scene of happening. While the original still retains a great deal of control over the new body, the Inverse still plays a fair role too, since its existence lurks within the body that the original resides in, there's always a chance of it popping out for no reason, much like another 'soul' decides to intrude a body like a thief. Putting that aside, there's one odd characteristic that the Nightmare has, and that's a swirl of energy emitting from his back, similar to that of energy that is spreading across realms and Earth as well.

What is that exactly? Well, it can hardly be explained, however, the reason may be the Inverse, since it is still 'alive' from the destruction of the Black World, and now, the body itself now becomes a host to continue in maintaining not only his life, but to bring a new bout of this 'new world'. What world would it be? An ideal world that every single person wishes, whether shall they be good or bad, they will be granted with the world of power, the imagination that they can manipulate to what they truly desire without boundaries, power that rivals even against those who are stronger than them. Yes, that kind of world, but it cannot be done with a core, a host, a catalyst to start all of.. this! Being the, probably, only surviving defender for the Black World, the Inverse Sou was freed from the brink of death, granted with what's left of the essence of the Black World, he now creates an ideal world for all, releasing the souls and entities of other dimensional beings, the world will soon find themselves an equal match of their numbers and powers. Ah yes, they can call this war. World War? Not quite. A big one, a war. Ah yes, the World Recreation War, something like that.

Popping his neck, what lies out of the smoke of the crater was nothing more than a human, the Nightmare, Sou Yuuki. Jumping off from the crater and landing above the ground, his eyes darted back and forth to his surroundings, yes, the original Sou's consciousness was still running despite all of that isolation, his life was once again recreated from death, however, with an even worst sin at hand, because of his Inverse's twisted persona, the persona of his darkest side, the 'side' which he never intended to give into, from his own childhood, to create a world where it belongs to nothing but to himself, a world that he is forgiven of all crimes and wrongdoings, to make a new identity of his own from being remembered, and where his superhuman abilities could be accepted from the 'monster'. This wasn't the 'reincarnation' he wanted, this was nothing more than more weights to bear. His thoughts kept running and running, thinking of a reason of why he was given another chance to regain consciousness in this.. tainted body of his, the one that belongs to his Inverse, blood-soaked hands that has taken the lives of more people than his brain could hold. Maybe, just maybe, another chance to change again, to be free from being this.. fucked up villain that he never wanted to be in the first place. A change, ah, a way to stop this damn collateral damage he is about to do to every realm and his so-called 'home'. But the problem is one thing, this body he is being 'alive' in, is the host of this shitstorm that he is causing in this very moment. Until the time he finds a way to stop this, Sou doubted that his Inverse will tolerate with it, neither will the World itself whose home is threatened by someone who's merely a human, but with enough power to threaten the world. For now, this isn't the problem he was facing, but the threat that is appearing across the sky.

The sky is not only engulfed with cracks and energy that is spewing right out of it, everyone would once again encounter their Inverses, but not the Inverse they met back during the Black World Arc. Bent by the will of the host and those affected previously by the events before this has happened, the Inverses is now no longer 'Inverse', but now, they are known as the 'Reformed'. These beings now do things solely on their own will and consciousness, not tied down by being the 'mirror' of their original, but being able to develop their own persona and abilities that differ from the capabilities of their original. They may look like the mirror of their owners, but they have different abilities from theirs, and these 'Reformed' may be either weaker or even stronger than the mirror they once were. You may even call them beings from a completely different world than they are instead of being originally inverses in the Black World. However, not only these beings are released, but one more thing; the hostile beings. Low to almost no intellectual beings, like lesser hollows or even Menos, berserked demons, or any other hostile beings that do not have the intellect or consciousness to control themselves or have awareness, not only succumb to the effects of the cracked energy, but they become even more aggressive than usual, and now attacks anything on sight, humans, demons, and even their own kind in huge numbers, regardless of their race, making hostile activity across the globe suddenly skyrocketing in each and every country possible.

Scratching his head from such an issue, Sou probably guessed it himself that he should finish the job that he had caused, but only one thing is in his way: The existence of his Inverse. Because if it weren't for him, the reincarnation of his consciousness wouldn't exist. Until he finds out a method to deal with him, the only role he could play? To become a villain of this kind of crap. Yes, an actual villain, whom isn't even interest in 'taking over the world', but rather fight what's ahead of him. More weights bearing into his shoulder, the only 'help' he could confront to is those 'heroes', or maybe even the person who killed him. However, one thing to heed advice to, the Nightmare, Sou Yuuki, thanks to his Inverse and during his time of isolation in the collapsed Black World, he was able to.. make some changes and upgrades to not only himself, but the weapons that he owns. Simply put, shit just got real from here.

Artist: Maiko Iuchi - Song: 最強の名乗り - Word Count: 855

Another day -- another shitshain ready to become a bloodstain on the earth.

That's all Shadin saw this incident as. While the whole world was probably screaming in terror and wetting themselves with fear, the only thought that raged through the burning circuits of Shadin's mind was this: how hard was he going to kick Inverse Sou's ass? It didn't matter what kind of retarded magic or science brought back this menace to society, all Shadin understood was that he was going to use his abilities to the fullest to send this circus act of a ghost back to where he belong.

Therefore, in a glimpse of white light, The Beast of Karakura emerged and his crimson stare could only tell half of the story of irritation, rage and frustration that brewed within his soul in this moment. So, instead, action would be better used to describe that oh so sweet animosity twisting around within his heart.

As soon as Sergeant Moron of The First Dumbass Crusade came crashing through the heavens, Shadin positioned himself right in the trajectory where his frenzy target would smash into. After that, it was only a matter of activating the pathways of energy within himself in order to ignite the switch to make him combat ready.

Through precision timing and exact calculation, The Beast of Karakura was able to hold out his palms and create an semi-translucent wall of energy meant to act as a medium to host his prowess. While his cybernetic brain burned through a multiplex formulas, these equations of reality stitched themselves into the material space around Shadin and he began to utilize his particles of energy in order to influence the world around him via psionic influence.

Hence, following the scene that lead to our Dull Witted Star coming into contact with this nifty barricade, Inverse Sou would soon feel as if his entire leg was crushed or plain blown away with the ash in the wind. The reason for this is because Shadin had set supernatural protocols into the molecules of energy which make up his special ability: Imaginary Computation. Through that, he was able to exploit the momentum used to send Sou crashing into the earth and reflect that entirely against his legs.

To compound things further, the density of Shadin's energy was another force of nature which could not be ignored. In that moment he had also set mental arrangements for his energy to release and increase in volume so that it may be enough to rival the kinetic force of Sou's hellish explosion. Thus, in turn, this would translate to our Borderline Screaming Banshee of a Villain having his attack thrown back at him with two times the strength.

And, with Shadin's ability to interact with the spiritual, there was no doubt that both his physical and metaphysical selves would be influenced. His entire body could quite possibly endure catastrophic injuries ranging spinal, brain or heart damage; as the force of the attack was meant to be spread through his body and strike heavily in these regions most of all. Granted, the whole of his sorry hide may have felt as if he had taken one too many falls off a mechanical bull.

Meanwhile, internally, the passages of energy within Sou may be placed under stress and shatter in various parts of his body. This is due to the fact that there was a double application of this attack which was meant to target his inhuman abilities as well. Henceforth, he'd find it difficult and straining to summon his supernatural and otherworldly abilities if he should attempt to summon to the threshold.

However, that hasn't been known to stop Captain Asstastic.

For this reason is why he'd survey the smoldering ash from the carter and await to see what shortsighted plan his adversary had awaiting him. Ergo, Shadin would then begin slowly walking towards the scene of carnage to investigate matters. While doing so, the sounds of a cane tapping against the earth echoed for many miles instead of the sound of brainless destruction Sou intended. Twas a simple modification to restrain the waves of sound from his crash landing and amplify his own so that he knew JUST who was approaching.

By the time our pale-skinned chum made it to ground zero, he ceased his movement and looked down into the cinders of the ground beneath him with a cold stare and uttered these words:

"You have three seconds to tread back to your world and mend your injuries. If not, I'll make a bigger mess out of your soon-to-be carcass than the shit that comes out of my ass following Taco Tuesdays with my brother."

With his cane pointed at Sou Yuuki, The Yuudeshi would tilt his head to the side and repeat "tick-tock" with the motions of his mouth and tongue.

"Time is ticking. If you refuse to move, I'm more than eager to make the stains of shit in your soul match the outside."

Artist: Poplica - Song: Ten Desires - Word Count: 2022

The Beast of Karakura and the Nightmare pitting in one battlefield? Well, this is an unsettled score between the two. Quite the irony if you say so, to have him appear again and kill him all over again. Looks like Shadin doesn't have other businesses to deal with other than ending this war that he would be leading through without any hesitation. The difference in power and experience between them is as clear as day, but fear would not falter the confidence that the Nightmare always has. Interruption always happens between both of them as this was never the first time that they've ever fought, but at a contrary, it is an open field between the Nightmare and the Beast to exchange punches. No, no one is treating this as a child's play yet Sou could not help but laugh at what's coming to him. He is different than the days before Shadin went to shut his lights off from the plains of existence, because the Nightmare will sure give him the trouble that he needs.

The Nightmare has quite the rough landing, in all honesty. Having Shadin to position himself before his landing site, he sure is determined to stop what he is doing right now. Unfortunately, the 'hero' seems to arrive pretty late to the scene. The reflection from the momentum of his landing was fruitless, afterall, all that force is directed to his body. How did one think that Sou was able to cancel out the attacks of his opponents or even withstand the vibrations of his own strength to manifest it into a force that pummels into his enemies? All of that experience that built up both within his mind and body made the reflection, even with two times the force, what the Nightmare was basically dealing with is two times the strength from his original output; a force that won't be so-easily shatter his body that easily as if it was made of glass.

With his ability to naturally manipulate vibration, this sort of task was like a daily intake of calories for his body to burn off everyday. If the force was concentrated, it may have been a harder task since compressed force is much harder to deal with as it focuses on a singular point which all its strength would drill right into, a hard task to shrug off. But spreading it throughout his body? It was a horrible idea. Before the redirected strength, twice as powerful as he initially had land with that sort of momentum, could damage the regions of his body both externally and internally, his muscle tissues expanded abnormally, creating a sort of 'vessel' to absorb the force that vibrates throughout his body. Whether it is purely physical or spiritual, his flesh and body had went through enough hell to prove that it could take forces as measly as the Beast could throw back like a candy. Since his legs were the one to take the biggest strain from the rest of his body, the Beast of Karakura would realize that some of the forces that he redirected could not seem to get through and into his legs.

Cancelling out some of the reflected momentum that carried from the 'barrier' that Shadin had put up, it is done through using the muscles in his legs to absorb as much force as it could without damaging it and pumping all of it out like a piston, with any other vibrations of force that may crash into his feet to be cancelled out, to the point which that even the Beast himself would feel as if an invisible force from his feet had a powerful recoil to put even Shadin a few steps back from his original position. Since he kindly reflected twice the force back to Sou, why wouldn't Sou give him back such a generous gift by instead of firing all of that momentum back to him, he would be pushed back from the cancelled forces that the Nightmare attempted, enough to soften the rest of the reflected force by half than Shadin had originally intended to cripple his legs.

The rest that is not cancelled out? Having the force vibrate throughout his entire body was a horrible idea especially against the likes of Sou, who excels in the area of strength that he didn't simply gain a title for. Before it could damage any of the vital areas that he aimed for, the Nightmare used his muscle tissues to expand abnormally, creating more space to become a vessel capable of absorbing even intense strength being inputted into his very body. The forces that vibrates both internally and externally throughout his body, Sou won't make it easy as in the past for the Beast to kill him that easily. To leave a little-to-no damage to himself, after the absorption of the vibration that crashed into his body from the reflection that the Beast made, just like how he released his strength against his opponents, the Nightmare released all of the forces right out of every side of his body like an electrical discharge, but instead, it becomes under the state of compressed vibration from the forces which Shadin tried to hurt and cripple him with, and all of that force would be directed back 'around' Shadin instead of towards him.

If he is protected from his landing, then the Nightmare could make an easy guess that he would be vulnerable from the sides and the ground as well. While it is not much, even a halved force of the reflected momentum that he has absorbed and thrown right around Shadin would have enough power to create an explosive force to build dusts around him to block out vision and temporarily cripple any cybernetic equipment that the Beast may have that runs out an external power source or network, as well as causing him to lose balance of himself since Sou throughoutly destroy the area of the ground that the Beast stood on to force him into moving to another place.

If retaliation were to occur during the process? Before any possible contact would be made between them, if this thin barrier built right of Shadin's ability which Sou landed on is still around? He is up for a surprise. With a small scratch of a cat's on the surface of that barricade or a barrier of sorts, it would make a light vibration that seems weak and does not serve as threatening at all on how weak it seems but soon, it would engulf the entire shape of the barrier into huge burst of flames. By agitating each atoms to grind against each other violently under the atomic level using vibrations and applying it carefully atom by atom, even a weak vibration would have enough frictional force to build up heat in its fixed shape that is interlocked between itself, and eventually, using the energy that the barrier is built with to combust into flames that could make even the likes of Shadin feel like it could hurt him real bad if he gets burnt to crisp by it. Since it harnesses the energy required to build this 'barrier' set up to withstand and reflect Sou's momentum from his landing, clearly even the Beast himself knows how bad would it be to get burned by it, eh?

What about the internal effects that Shadin placed against him? Surely, before any major damage can be done to the Nightmare internally and externally, any spiritual application that came together with the vibration absorbed from the force would have been expelled before it could affect his strength at all in the first place. But since the process is not perfect, he may be internally affected slightly with a small lack of control over his muscles and how he utilizes his strength, but even with the passages of energy affected, as long as the core which energy is produced in the human body, he could transfer that energy alternatively to be unleashed against the likes of Shadin. Supernatural-wise when it comes to abilities beyond the boundaries of natural? What was he trying to do? Nerfing his 'magical attacks'? Well, the Beast will know soon that the Nightmare never uses anything supernatural when it comes to fighting in his normal state. Sure, while ascending to higher states such as his awakening state would be harder, it isn't impossible, no?

Landing into the crater and closer to the area where Shadin has positioned himself if he weren't knocked away, and if he is, Sou would adjust himself slightly closer to make a direct eye contact with him. Leaning against his crutch, he couldn't help but to grin and laugh not at Shadin, but himself; the pathetic state that he is in to occupy someone as busy as the Beast to come and deal with him. Ah, surely, this is a privilege that take into his hands on. He is not sure if he should be happy or not, but this was the only reaction he was capable of giving. From all the unfinished fights both of them had been through, before his death and the fight against his Inverse after his death, Sou was not sure if he had learnt a single thing about him; that he has changed. He was not going to beat around the bush anymore, not going to show how weak he was, and how powerful he has become. With his original self's consciousness still running the cells of his Inverse's brain, guilt still came to him to continue causing disaster. But with those touchy feely things aside, this was an opportunity to trade blows against each other. Even in the differences in their abilities, it finally comes to an end of which that the Nightmare could take this seriously, with or without casualties.

Three seconds to retreat, eh? Well then, he'll make use of that time to keep things clear between themselves. He wasn't going to retreat but he is going to speak his mind in reply of what the Beast had said. Quick and simple, enough to spend the three seconds that was generously spared for him.

"You learnt to talk too much. Now quit spitting and start moving."

Reaching out his free hand towards Shadin, his hand postured in a way to taunt Shadin over with a smile across his lips as he stood there. Knowing that the Beast is more powerful in a thousand scales than himself, experiences never failed the Nightmare in terms of combat and this man is not excluded out of the shit he has been through. Waving his finger to call Shadin over, he welcomes him to get the first hit over to the Nightmare just for a little knock on the bucket.

"Come."

A New War [ EVENT'S CATALYST/OPEN ] Empty Re: A New War [ EVENT'S CATALYST/OPEN ]

Artist: Maiko Iuchi - Song: Time Limit - Word Count: 1048

Bing-o was his name-o.

All that was his important from Sou's actions were the fact that the particles of Shadin's energy were able to make physical contact with him. With that connection, they'd then be able to travel through the pores of the maniac's skin and seep inward into his body. After which, the spread of molecules still left on his flesh would create a miniature network of sorts.

Spreading the lines of energy throughout a one hundred meter radius, the grains of energy associated to our ghostly friend created a connection straight back to our protagonist. With it, he was then able to inject a high volume of his power into Sou. These currents of energy would then travel down into the newly forged network's circuits, create concreted clusters in his forearms, knees, chest and stomach; then seek to cave in these areas with enough energy to make even a schizophrenic freak like Sou feel it and snap his infantile delusions of destruction and conquest.

Rip, tear, shatter.

These three words would describe the process in which the gnawing force of Shadin's power sought to do to these areas. All of the regions previously mentioned may very well begin to produce mass blood lost, pain fierce enough to make the raging male see in red and an overall sense of health leaving Sou's body. As, if this were a video game, the male could pay witness to seeing his health bar go down quite a notch after that. The same could be said about his durability and speed stats taking quite the blow after an assault like that.

The reason being is because Shadin was systemically ripping him apart from the inside -- molecule by molecule. To ignore and somehow come out an assault like this scott-free -- was unrealistic at best -- foolish at worse. Of course, The Beast still had to contend with the lunatic's forces being thrown and hurled back at him. So, he'd let out one irritated sigh, signal his brain run through a series of evaluations and compute himself a proper solution to patch away this pompous ass into a finely beaten pulp.

While closing his eyes, Shadin attuned himself to the world of molecules around them all and perceived most alterations of particles within a one hundred meter radius. In doing so, he'd come to the conclusion that our manic gremlin of a villain aimed to annihilate him under a storm of kinetic energy and momentum. Therefore, the solution was simple: dodge.

There was no point in wasting precious resources with some complex maneuver when our pale skinned friend was one of the fastest beings on earth. Therefore, he used that to his advantage and simply shunpo'd at mach speeds upwards into the air. All the while, the impact forces against his body would be passively repelled by Imaginary Computation ensuring the stability of his body wasn't obliterated by this sudden force of movement.

And, as for our flaming barrier harming our albino pal? Well, there wouldn't be much for the red haired troll to grab on; seeing how it dissipated and shattered as soon as Major Moron smashed into it. It was merely used as a measure not to obliterate the landscape and have his energy make contact with Sou. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thus, this would leave our villain with the perfect chance to chat it up and break the ice with an afterimage. Since, as soon as he unveiled himself to be a target, our albino friend of many silver shades and pale hues emerged behind Sou. With little time to react, and still moving at mach speeds, it was unlikely Sou could defend himself. Therefore, Shadin seized this advantage and gap in speed in order to point his cane straight at the base of the red menace's neck from behind.

"Too bad you didn't take my offer, bub. Brown really isn't your color."

Click, click -- BANG!

From the bottom of the ashen cane came a white bullet shell. In it, a cluster of kinetic energy was sealed within and this casing was made to be further empowered by the core of spiritual energy from Shadin infused into the cane. When making physical contact with a living target, the destructive impact from this shell would be equivalent to having enough power to pierce a hole in the barrier of Karakura Central itself.

So, for Sou, that could translated into having his flaming red behind become hurled and thrown across the field like a plastic bag against the wind. The whole of his neck may be covered in blood, while he may have lost his sense of hearing due to the defying bang being so close to ear. Which, in turn, would make him about as coordinated as an Irish Drunk on St. Patrick's Day. If nothing else, the best case scenario for this was total paralyzation of his body and Shadin would delight in the incident being so easily resolved with a shot to the neck.

In any case, a low whistle would be heard coming from Shadin as two spheres of white energy could be seen within the ear carnal's of The Yuudeshi. Seems he took preemptive measures to preserve his hearing by creating a makeshift earplug, but he was more interested in his toy than that.

"Yanno, you are the first shitstain I ever shot with this in practice. I have far too many things I never use. Oh well, let's see what the practical results are."

After admiring his cane-gun, The Yuudeshi would laugh a bit to himself, loosen his nerves, shrug and then see what results his little assault would of had on his devious hobgoblin of a foe. Would he be down for the count, or would mother fate give this blithering imbecile another shot at life? As far as Shadin was concerned, hopefully, for his sake, he'd know when to call it quits.

"Oh, right. This is the part where I ask: "why are you so retarded and want to destroy everything?" Yeah, enlighten me on that, shitstain. That one went over my head."

Eh, as expected of Shadin. Always knowing his ways to get around and keep him dead to the ground, if it was really as easy as he had expected it to be. It would've worked if it was the first time that they have met, and the first time if they have fought against one and another, but it didn't.

As long as the effects aren't instantaneous, the Nightmare's bodily functions and brain would have responded to the dire situation in a whim without a second's worth of delay for him to receive any damage. Running multiple calculations at once from the I.E.B.N and the Annihilator, all the way to his brain, his body made a quick response of what it knew from Shadin's energy in the clusters that formed in the areas which the Beast aimed to target and outright cave right through them to affect his physical capabilities from speeds, strength to durability. Using his immune systems to do the work, instead of seeking to internally destroy the energies at work considering the high volume from the Beast being put into it, removing it by force would only serve to worsen the damage at hand with the experiences of which the Nightmare had forcibly removed energies from his body before against certain opponents that did the same as what Shadin had did against him in the past.

This time, Sou decides to delicately remove it out of his body. His immune system would first send weak level of electrical energy into the concreted energy in the affected parts of his body, regardless whether it is immune against electricity or not, it does not serve to 'damage' the energy to really put work against the energy's immunity against electricity if it had one. Instead, it would carefully break apart the spiritual energy to prevent it from triggering any means of defensive measures to see it as a 'threat' and binds itself against the energy to prevent it to regenerate itself back. Once the binding has been done, it proceeds to either weaken or ultimately shut down the concreted energy by creating a protective electromagnetic field around it to disrupt and confuse the wavelength of the spiritual energy that intends to damage the areas that the Beast targeted. Forearms, knees, chest and stomach, these areas would be performed by his body's immune functions to proceed to be done the same. In a blink of an eye, the Nightmare would begin building a new pathway that guides right out of his body and would also start to sever the internal network made by Shadin that matches with the concreted energies that tried to harm Sou from the inside, and break these networks apart without hesitation when it does matches. Much like how he did to the concreted energies, he would do the same against the established circuits by Shadin in his body, to first carefully break it apart without alerting it, and then nullify its capabilities to rebuilding itself or even regenerate in any cases, and guide it to the newly established circuit by 'stretching' a circuit of solidified vibrations that would guide the high volume of energy being injected into him, right out of his body like cleaning out cancer itself. Even so, Sou didn't know the true extent of what Shadin can really do. If he had altered the contents of the energy within his body while under the process of removal, then it would be a problem since all he would be able to do was to guide away the high volume of energies that are broken down right out of his body while the circuit established within him would remain intact. Making this quite an issue for him since he'll be needing to use force to get this thing out of him eventually.

If it failed? Blood loss would be one thing. Why? Despite being a human himself, his body has a type of regeneration that differs from others. Without worrying for blood loss, his body is capable of regenerating more blood to maintain its normal volume, so he would be incapable of 'losing too much blood to the point of death'. Pain? Oh oh, he could definitely feel it in every inch of his body, the pain that hurts him so much that he could definitely feel it but he won't be brought down so easily. He didn't grew weaker, as Shadin may have thought. Instead, Sou felt more alive than before from the pain. Never once the Nightmare ever screamed in pain regardless of what had hit him, whether it was train crushing him into a flat bread, ripping both of his arms out or even being blasted by the nuke. After enduring different levels of pain, all the Nightmare did was to laugh it off. His grin became wider, giggles seems to be holding back an apparent laughter behind that smile of his, close to breaking into insanity that truly entitled him 'the Nightmare'. Make him weaker? Don't make him laugh so much that he would roll across the floor just for the occasion. If he was that easily weakened, then this fight would've been meaningless in the first place.

With that settled, speed was the only problem here. Sou knows himself that he does not move particularly fast for a strength-driven male like himself. Seeing that Shadin is moving at a neck-breaking speed, it is doubtful that Sou would be capable of reacting to it in such a short given time, given that the Beast is moving past the speed of sound, something that a 'normal' human would be incapable of reacting to. But Shadin forgot one thing; the Nightmare himself too has experienced and moved at mach speed as well. Knowing that Sou cannot imagine to even compare himself with one of the fastest beings on Earth, mach speed is still moving at or beyond the speed of sound. Considered that he has moved at that sort of speed several times as well and even has the reaction speed to perform quick tasks, proven during his fight with the likes of Cirno Iramasha, he learnt to take into consideration of his surroundings. Moving at high speeds would meant disturbances to the atoms and air particles floating around the air since Shadin would need to 'push' away the air in front of him to move efficiently. By calculating and detecting any abnormalities in the air around him, once Shadin came to a halt, so would the air around him. It would be easy to know the position in which the Beast would appear in once the disturbances came to halt by moving to the last coordinated place that he has stopped into; and that place? Right behind his back.

Unless Shadin produced a tornado around Sou, given his experiences with mach speed himself, it would be easy to see and react to Shadin unless he, of course, do move beyond the level of Mach 7 which would be literally impossible for him to begin reacting against since he never experienced such speeds before, and which also means that he would be incapable of producing calculations and results that may stem from his own experiences to estimate and predict Shadin's location. His predictions in where the Beast would appear is not 100%, but it is, of course, extremely accurate as calculations are not done by one alone, but by multiple machines including his own organic brain that sorts out any possible equations that his photographic memories may contain.

When the white-haired Beast took his shot, one thing that caught him by surprise and that was the loud bang that shook his ears. Sure, he may be able to react in time but the deafening sound took him off-guard. Initially, Sou had already prepared to defend against any means of assault that would be thrown by the Beast but hell, that sound took everything right outta his brain and threw him off just like that. The results came to the fact that the vibration of energy that he has prepared on his hand to attempt in taking a direct blow from the shot was the temporary lack of control in his strength, causing the vibrations on his hand to seize stability. It was at this point that he either has to try and take it with his bare hands or with his body. He didn't have the time to dodge it, since while he has the brain capacity capable of reacting against the speed that Shadin could move in, his body is not the type to move at high speeds since for Sou to move at mach speeds like Shadin, he would need to take quite the damage to survive the journey, making it clear that his body weren't built for it. So, the choice all gulps down to make a split-second decision; his body or to take it with his hand.

But his choice? Took it head on. While it did catch him off-guard and had fazed him out with its deafening sound, the Nightmare was prepared for this. In a whim, to Shadin's eyes, the second that Sou's hand gripped itself into a fist and smashes it right against the shell which he had fired, both of them obliterated each other. While the round that he fired is shattered to pieces, Sou was knocked back by the shockwaves that was caused between the forces that collided between his fist and the bullet itself. Its power was sure to kill if he do take it head-on without a second thought, and with that deafening sound, defeat was to occur. But no, he destroyed it. Not to mention, with proper control over his strength, he increased the energy output into his fist as well by compressing the 'stamina' into his fist. How far did he increase it? 30 percent. Why? Considered that even 1% of his strength was capable of causing mass destruction and havoc in Karakura City at this point, 30% was enough to equal his strength against the likes of Shadin's 'bullet' into obliterating both the intensity in power which that very shot has encased into and cancelling out the strength output that blew the Nightmare right out of the battlefield.

The explanation is fairly simple at this point. He went through the same state a few times when his I.E.B.N ran out of batteries, especially during his fight with Nozomi where not only he was not able to control his strength, but his coordination ability, breathing rate, heart rate, speech, and even eyesight are all blurred out as if he was dying or even can be described as 'extremely intoxicated' in terms of that. Because of the weakness that he had with the I.E.B.N, if such cases were to happen again, like the current events or even with Nozomi, his Annihilator becomes the alternative 'sight' for him. Gravity, balance, pressure, control and so forth, all would be done and calculated to be sent into his brain. So, even if the loud bang can disrupt his current state of coordination, Annihilator already has the functions to make up for it for him to perform normally as usual even with the deafening noise. Something that Shadin may not have expected, eh?

Crashing into the ground from the recoil, the Nightmare soon recovered with his bare legs standing above the ground that he was knocked right into without wasting much of his time. His hand that caught the full brunt of that round from the Beast's cane had some light scratches against it, as those were self-inflicted damages that happens to him when he uses beyond the normal limits that was placed against his human body. While he is more durable than he was before in the past, 30% was still powerful enough to damage his entire arm which he used his strength for in his very fist. Light scratches and a few intermediate wounds, it wasn't much. Listening to Shadin about how proud he was with his cane was surely annoying and a waste of time. Well, he will answer his question with delight.

"Glad to know that i am blessed to be the target of that first shot."

Laughing for a bit and clapping his hands to loosen up the atmosphere just for a second, it soon came to a halt with a cold expression across his face. Saying very simple words that he won't ever repeat again.

"Now quit spouting shit. Are you going to continue to fight or not?"

He stood there, staring at the Beast. Wasting his time listening to his antics, he popped his neck and exhaled. At this point, he will just do what needs to be done to finish this pointless talk. Afterall, after the Beast ended the life of the original Nightmare, talking became pointless to him anymore. Whether will he continue spouting nonsense, he will make a simple assault that can kindly.. relay the message into that thick skull of his.

With a light tap against the ground with his foot, the vibrations that he released intensified. How? To the point where the entire ground that covers for miles far and wide in front of the Nightmare would shake violently like an earthquake, it won't erupt into a thousand pieces just like any other old tricks he used to do. Instead, he will be surprised that the entire ground would suddenly engulf fiercely into flames, and they aren't ordinary flames either. Using the frictional force that scales down to the molecular level, he planned to build up the heat for miles apart by forcing it to grind against each other as if two chainsaws had to repeatedly cut each other relentlessly. So much so, the heat and pressure would begin building up, collectively gathering up into the cooler regions of spaces available in the ground that is affected by it. By doing so, all the heat would begin compressing and build up, eventually, roaring into a burst of flames that ignited above a ground that could not even conduct fire to begin with. The frictional process caused by his vibrations are so fierce, in fact, these flames has built up enough heat to melt even the toughest material that one can imagine of creating. Even for powerful beings like Shadin, these flames can make sure that he becomes a roasted turkey for the next Thanksgiving. That is how fearsome of an ability that the Nightmare is capable of doing.

As much as he wanted to answer the question that the Beast asked, he has no definite answer for it. The original Nightmare's consciousness is still under the control of the body, and not of his Inverse that is going against him right now, and in all honesty, he has no answer. All he knew that it was caused due to the fact that it was driven by his past desires of getting rid of the world that rejected him and wanting to reform a new world where everyone could be treated equally; good or bad. Not to be judged by whether if one is good or evil, heroes or villains, it is an ideal world for everyone. Only after Shadin killed him had him realize that he is wrong. As much as he wants to be embraced by the warmth of someone, even after being reborn as a consciousness in the body of his Inverse, he continued to do harm and had to play the role of a villain. As much as he dislikes it, he just had to do. This is why he rejected the idea of atoning his sins under the watch of the Beast of Karakura, because this is the kind of shit he does not deserve.

He won't be touchy feely about the human he once were. He wanted this fight to be personal and to be exchanged personally against each other. Words and insults are useless in this combat, because what he seeks for is combat between them; nothing else. Otherwise, the Nightmare against the Beast of Karakura. One historical fight that he will remember even after death, it seems. Now less thoughts aside, more focus on this piece of shit trying to play the protagonist.
