Dots and Lines

Something was reacting to her crystals.
This meant a trip to the wastelands was necessary. Yukiko easily shifted her apperance in bits - the chest seemed to be flat, her facial structure was masculine. But otherwise, she didn't change much. Little changes were often enough to make people mistake others, despite distinctive characteristics. This was something she knew well, and used to her advantage. And considering she didn't know what was facing her out there, she decided to be slightly more cautious then usual. After all, there had to be a reason why the crystal produced a response - she had made it target those only marginally weaker then her, but definitely stronger then her as well. But that was beside the question, as she was ready, the sheath on her hip like always.
Perhaps she should wait a moment more?
Well, in the end it wouldn't matter, as with a single step, she pushed herself into the thin veil between the living dimension and Hueco Mundo. And thus, that meant she was now outside, landing on the piece of turf that her crystal had drifted to. Immediately upon her notice was the fact that it was cool. Good, she didn't have to deal with immense heat, which meant that in the cast of combat, she was still efficient. Her gaze slipped this way and that, before it landed on the crystal. With another two steps, she was there, plucking the crystal fromt he ground, back into her hand. Rolling it around a moment, the arrancar became absorbed in studying the thing.
It was soothing perhaps, in it's own way.
Another sigh left her lips, before she shook her head. But that's when it happened - her senses picked up something, and her eyes narrowed, turning towards the figure. Perhaps they would not notice her nature. In fact, that was no perhaps, as she quietly supressed her energy. She didn't want to give the impression of power, but perhaps she should remain careful, as the blue crystal turned in her waiting hands. It would be slightly less boring if she talked to them, perhaps. The figure wasn't that far now, when she lfited her head and let out a smirk, ready to address this wayward traveler.
''Greetings.'' she said to them, when she was sure they could hear her voice.

⌠Stable≈Sensory⌡
With calm steps of joyous isolation and playful solidarity, the woman swayed through the wastes of the human lands. Her eyes closed as she moved, letting her body get carried by the lands themselves as she had searched out for any lost souls among the destruction. The woman's long cyan blue hair bouncing in their pigtails as she walked calmly. Her hands behind her back as she attempted to relax. Not long prior she had gotten out of the hospital and thus was loving the smell of the destroyed air. It was odd to say the least that such was a calming sensation for her, however it just meant that balance remained in the land. As there was Life, there was also Death. As there was Hope, there was also Despair. And thus with such, the duty of a Shinigami remained. Her pale blue gaze slowly revealing herself as she looked over the barren lands of waste and destruction. There were a few signs of wandering souls, as well as the happening across of hallows.
"Poor things..." She's day as she put each to rest with her coming across either the damned or the salvageable. Either way made no difference, it was work which she had missed. Though, she did have to admit that she missed the lab of Section Twelve more than anything. After some time of wandering, the woman finally came to a stop and glance around, finding nothing near her she lowered herself to sit among the rubble and relax. Her eyes falling shut once more as she merely listened tot he lands around her. After some time, the silence had begun to bore the woman but it quickly faded as she sensed something in the distance. Such wasn't there just a moment prior, did it walk towards her? Appear? Portal? The woman wasn't exactly sure and she wasn't about to get up and go charging against something she knew nothing of. So she just remained seated, calm and still before being approached. As the creature remained a ways away, her bright blue eyes looking upon it as she heard a feminine voice. Slowly, Aiyoku brought herself to a stand, sliding her fingers through her hair to keep the long strands of cyan out of her face. Her being dressed in the traditional attire of the Shinigami. normally such wouldn't be the case but she had to do such to make up for her long absence in duty."Greetings. What brings you to the wastes?"

Sometimes, she wondered if she had anything.
But such questions were vague. The dual hair colored woman turned the blue crystal in her fingers once again. She had indeed seen the clothes of the other - someone that was a shinigami. Interesting. The crystal played in her fingers, as the arrancar let out a thoughtful hum, before she stopped the movement. ''I'm not sure, exactly. Curiosity perhaps, or maybe just a tug to something or the other.'' she replied. Yes, it was vague, but she would not just straight up admit that she had sensed something - clearly not this one, because the crystal did not react - that was of pure interest. Because that meant she would have to explain the how she knew that.
And that was a bit more then she wanted to divulge.
[color:a5a6=#64bcff''And what about you, Shinigami-san?'' she said, knowing that her light sarcasm on the honorific was probably either very much noticed, or slipped away in the normal tones of her voice. Her fingers began to twirl the crystal in her fingers again, a sort of comfort against this unexpected event. But then again, she could root inside this shinigami's mind, and get under her skin. Maybe even push someone worthy to take charge of the mess that the society was - even Yukiko remembered how much of a mess it was. How laughable that the great shinigamis had fallen so low within such a time. But that didn't really matter to her in the end, as she twirled the crystal again.
''I mean, it's not often that your kind wanders this far into the wastes - probably because of the large amount of hollows and other nasty little things that hide in the corners. Most of them are too strong.'' she said, a little bit of cold in her voice. Indeed, the shinigami were very sloppy as of late, but the wastelands were even a challenge to her still. It was probably why she was still very much on guard, her fingers playing with her crystal as a method to not show that tension. She had to be wary, for all she knew this shinigami would attack her the moment that the other would figure out Yukiko's true nature.
Although that it would be welcome as a reprieve from boredom, it still made the ice arrancar err on the side of caution. She left very little clues about her race - pushing down her signature to nearly invisible, to mostly weak human - and made sure that none of her hollow traits were obvious. Then again, only if the other touched her hair or something similar, then the jig would be up. But for now, the woman enjoyed a sort of perfect camouflage, unless one went digging into her words. And that would be the fun of it, the fun of verbally sparring - because the mind is just as an efficient weapon, wasn't it? Only when trained of course.
''Aren't you afraid?'' she asked of the girl.
