A Fateful Meeting [Andy] Empty A Fateful Meeting [Andy]

Sat Sep 19, 2015 3:30 am

The white-haired recruit was easily found within the halls of the Vanguard's Base. Bottle of water grasped tightly within her left hand, towel slung over her shoulders as she was just called away from her own personal training. Plastic bottle slowly raised up to her lips, tipping it back as she took a few sips to re-hydrate herself. So soon she was already challenged, met new powerful people, and was shown just how much farther she had to go before becoming one of the best. Thoughts began to wander, mainly focusing on the request sent out to her. A new face already being asked for by name for the higher-ups... Well, at least higher up when compared to her position within the Initiative as simply a member.

Boots fell upon the grounds of the base, body gently bouncing up and down with every step, almost a hop. She was excited, lips curling upwards into a smile as the cap was screwed back unto her bottle. She had already met the leader of the Vanguard, Azure, and seemed to be at least liked by him. Mind fondly remembering the meeting and how it certainly left a good impression with her, it also stopped her from staying in a spar long enough to break a few bones. Dull ache felt within the back of her knees and her right arm's wrist at the mention of injuries. The fight was quite scary and was a test of her power. And she personally thought she did well. Eyes slowly widened as she shook her head, getting off topic once again as she soon found herself in front of a door. Glancing towards the room's number and nodding as she found the correct one. The one she's been called to head towards.

Why was she called by someone new? There were others who were stronger than her, and people much more accustomed to the ways the Vanguard worked. A fairly bruised hand found itself curling into a fist to gently rap against the door. Knocking upon it as her free hand grasped the handle to turn and push inwards. Body leaning forwards to peek past the opening, curious look on her face as she spoke out before even seeing if anyone was in the room. "Yo, uhm, I was sort of called here by someone so just seeing if this it the right room. Still new and could have heard the summon wrong." Voice a bit too laid back to be considered professional, and not once did she ever seem to care about appearing fully professional. Normal attire worn, sporting a white shirt with black jacket over it. Metal gauntlets covering most of her forearm with short shorts for her privates.

A Fateful Meeting [Andy] Ilm1hugqewar

Was this really the best room the winged bastard could muster up for him? Kamui found himself on his back, looking up at the ceiling as his legs kicked idly through the air above him. He had been given a lot of license to conduct his operations upon getting here. He'd been permitted to establish the squad he desired, he had been permitted to establish the his own base of operations, in fact he had impressed enough to be given a high ranking position in the Vanguard's Intelligence organization. It wasn't much of an accomplishment, intelligence was not exactly something they had an overwhelming supply of, but his the organization he was playing liaison to had been quite charitable all things considered. Unfortunately, Kamui was nothing if not entitled, the least they could do in his mind was give him a better room to work with. Alas, this was what he had to work with, for better or worse. It was a pretty dry room, the walls were barren, the floor riddled with mats, and if it was a little bigger it'd actually be perfect for his purposes. Unfortunately, it wasn't perfect, but it was definitely serviceable. Kamui opened up the manila folder containing the dossier on the Initiative Member named Elysia, no last name. That was amusing in and of itself.

Then she came through the door...and the other thing he found especially interesting about her came in to full view. Kamui did not do much to hide his rather incorrigible tendencies and the focus of his eyes was something he made no effort to disguise as they immediately made a beeline for the girl's chest. Kamui rolled over on to his stomach before painfully prying his eyes away from her chest to her eyes, playfully kicking his legs behind him as he looked her calmly in the face before turning his attention back down at the dossier, gently, but quiet audibly, mumbling to himself.

"Elysia, close range combatant, hot headed, impressive initiation, yadda yadda yadda..."

Kamui shut the folder and pushed himself up in to a crouch, his attention shifting back to the woman in the process. He had taken an interest in her for rather obvious reasons, two of them, but that was only going to carry her so far as a member of the Vanguard...father in other pursuits but she was going to have to demonstrate aptitude beyond that elsewhere. The young man sighed and raised himself to a standing position, softly tossing the folder to the side.

"I doubt I've been introduced or really announced, so we'll get that out of the way. My name is Kamui Cruor, I am the Crown Prince of the Northern Kingdom of the Sugiuran Realm, etc etc titles titles and presently the Liaison to the Vanguard. Part of my duties involve evaluation and education of Vanguard combatants, particularly those of the Initiative. Those who do not qualify, for one of the central programs are to receive individual evaluation and education."

A soft smile played across his features as the words left him, a soft smile that somehow came across as incredibly condescending. It was true, she wasn't picked for the squad or for any of his other projects, but Kamui had picked her for something important, important to him at least, and if she truly knew about it then the tactic he was employing most likely would not work. He needed her to prove herself however, to demonstrate for him that she deserved to be given such a gift. He would not be able to determine if she deserved it if she wasn't coming at him with blood in her eyes.

"Do you want to know why you weren't selected despite these rave reviews from Azure? Mostly because I think the man is soft. I don't see anything special before me now, outside of your chest which I have to admit is rather impressive, and I don't know what Azure sees in you. You're simply not good enough, too weak, whatever descriptor you want to use...feel free to demonstrate to the contrary."

A Fateful Meeting [Andy] Empty Re: A Fateful Meeting [Andy]

Elysia had found herself within a fairly plain room. With how the message was brought to her, she honestly thought that the decor would be much better. Or at the very least, a few potted plants that most fancy meeting rooms seemed to had. The door was pushed open fully, form coming into full view as eyes began to scan the area. Nope. Nothing really worth noting- Eyes soon found themselves on a person staring right at her. Eyes focused a bit lower than her own gaze, and only a few moments for her face to become one of un-amusement. Eyes narrowing towards him as she seemed to just wait until his eyes finally met hers.

An eyebrow was raised at the mention of her name, what she was good with... Even the fact that she was considered above average in her initiation. Slowly her weight shifted unto one leg, hips thrusted out to the side slightly as a hand rested upon it. Eyes only keeping their glare straight unto him. Already this just seemed like something that would be more of an annoyance to her rather than a gain. Someone who got a crappy room and her dossier that didn't really have anything of importance within it. Her fingers quickly balled into fists, joints cracking rather loudly as she relaxed once more.

Her stance seemed to change just slightly when he announced his name and position. She didn't really know many names or groups due to her lack of knowledge on the outer world... But she definitely knew enough to know a prince of anything led to having some form of power to back their actions. Her weight shifted once more, leaning backwards against the door as it shut behind her, arms raised over her generous chest to cross over it and obscure view to make sure she was the one this meeting was for. Not her assets. It didn't take a genius either to tell with how he spoke that she was going to be chosen for some special form of training. If fighting a hulking brute that seemed ready to tear her head off her shoulders wasn't enough, now a special thing that people could be denied from was offered.

"Well, I can certainly say that Azure was much better at not being a pervert." Eyes rolled to the side once the comment was made, boot gently tapping against the ground due to her feeling fairly anxious despite the sly insult, or sly at least within her mind. The whole scenario before her was odd and would normally cause many other people to be a bit more cautious around someone of such a high ranking. But, Elysia was cocky, she knew she was a member of the Vanguard, and deep in their base, and this person didn't seem like someone who'd start a fight if Azure granted them a room to use despite how crappy it was.

The smile he gave to her left her feeling quite odd. And a bit challenged, lips pursed as a greater feeling of annoyance was visible on her face. She kept somewhat calm however, this person still had power over her in some way, shape, or form. She had not the slightest clue of his true intentions, of what goals he had hidden by the same smile her offered out towards her. A few memories of her life began to flash by, all of situations many people would prefer to forget, but these... These she wanted to remember instead, in order to help pave the way for her life in the future. Many time she was taken out to the sides by those who ran the Pits, making deals and offers for the 'shows', and they would promise to smuggle things for her... Most of the time, it involved slaughtering a friend instead of simply incapacitating them.

It was obvious she was zoning out for a few moments, eyes staring ahead blankly before her head shook. Focus turned back to the man before her who spoke once more. A brow was cocked, head tilted to the side just slightly at a little bit confusion. Why would she receive reviews from Azure? She only had one fight, and quite honestly lost it in almost it's entirety, only aspect of it that she won was tenacity. The next view comments delivered led to her eyes narrowing forwards, fingers squeezing her elbows tightly as the crossed arms seemed to tense just slightly. "I'm not all about my breasts dumb ass, I've done a lot of shit. I know you fancy spiritual fighters in these giant bases fighting for the good of the world can blow up islands or whatever else the fuck you all do, but that doesn't mean everyone below you is 'weak'."

The woman pushed herself off against the wall, arms resting at her sides now as her chest was thrust outwards slightly enough. A gesture that used to mean that you were assertive and preferred to be more dominate within fights within the Pits... But here, she wasn't all too sure, and just hoped it wouldn't lead to more stared. "If you called me just to insult the strength I've had to kill people for, then I'd rather go back to actually training then waiting around in a lonely room reading papers by yourself." There was a bit of venom within her voice, one that showed that if she matched his strength, she would be a lot closer and exerting more pressure upon him. Already, he had a bad start to getting on her good side... But what did that matter for someone who can surpass her, or even end her before she could even make a difference in the world?

Jovial. The word to describe the laugh that came from young Kamui was jovial. He sounded like he was genuinely having fun with her responses. Even in so far as he seemed to be disregarding the bulk of it. There was no change in his demeanor when she threatened him, when she growled, when she said something about fancy spiritual fighters as if in their world that was some sort of insult or even the threat to go back to her training. Even if they were on the same plane of power, he would have responded with such amusement, but coming from this girl was even more comical. The second the last word left her lips he just could not help himself. Before she could even respond to his laughter, Kamui raised his arms above his head and grabbed the back hem of his collar, quickly discarding it as his hand pressed against his chest. From the spot he touched on his shoulder, a small circle began to expand, as if he tattoo'd his own chest. Blossoming and extending out as separation formed between the circle, shifting in to rings as a tiny dot at his core expanded, the tattoo morphing in to a target one might see on a shooting range. As this process unfolded, Kamui spoke to the woman.

"You mean Azure is a lesser pervert, of course. You're mistaken however. I have yet to blow up an island, that is not however why you are weak."

Kamui took a few steps forward, his face returning to that blank, "happy" facade that he had held prior as his eyes shifted to hers once again. She was a coarse person, abrasive, rough, a whole lot of negative qualities that would normally turn a mentor off. However, unlike most of these people, Kamui understood war, he understood what true combat was, he understood what the ugly side of their world looked like. The greatest warrior was not going to be the strongest, nor the brightest, nor the most sadistic...it was going to be the one that was willing to get dirty, the one who was willing to sacrifice, the one who was willing to do whatever it took to win. That was the one who won. That was the one who mattered, that was the victor. This girl understood that. Talent and ability only mattered so much if you weren't willing to capitalize on it. He didn't care if she was strong, or smart, or talented, those were things that could be supplemented with work. You needed the mindset, the core ideology, he was hoping she had it.

"Hayden, you lost didn't you?"

Kamui's eyes and head turned, shifted toward the blank wall and almost instantly an image began etching itself on to the blank wall. Forming the lines and contours of the figures as Kamui shifted his eyes back toward the girl, still wearing the same expression he'd worn since day one. From what his mother told him, this was the kind of training his father performed and while he did not especially care for the man, he did have some nice ideas and it was difficult to argue with results. Besides, his perversion was something his son had definitely inherited and he was not above using an effective and enjoyable tactic when it worked. He was sure just seeing the image that was being put on the wall was probably going to piss her off even more than calling her out on her defeat would, but he was banking on her interest in where he was going with this would keep her at bay...if only to let him finish speaking.

Spoiler:

"If you don't want to lose again, we're going to play a game. You land a solid hit to my abdomen before I manage to...heh..."strike" each of those six points, and I'll acknowledge your strength and I'll acknowledge your strength and put you in to the accelerated program for our most esteemed soldiers. Undoubtedly the quickest way the Vanguard has to offer for increasing power. Feel free to walk out that door or begin whenever."

A Fateful Meeting [Andy] Empty Re: A Fateful Meeting [Andy]

The fighter was starting to hate this. Emotions starting to flare upwards as fingers began to ball into fists and then relax again and again. Getting the blood flowing through her system. She didn't like how much she was teased, just by the smile upon his lips. It didn't feel natural, and it only left her feeling all the more agitated by his antics. And what came next only seemed to anger her further. Him laughing at her, taunting her, teasing her even further than before. Body tensing further. She didn't come here to get mocked by others, to get put down once again. She came here to better herself, and to beat the shit out of anyone who dared to exert their powers to play with people's lives as if they were simply toys.

She didn't seem to react angrily to the comment of Azure's perversion. She didn't seem to even care all too much if he was one or not, just at the fact that this guy was apparently a much greater one than him. And now that smile came up one again. Devoid of any emotion, but still mimicking joy. A joy that had no feeling behind it, and exerted another odd feeling within Elysia. That smile, the one she might see many times in her life, left her reeling back slightly. Chest no longer thrust outwards to try and show authority, instead, her body slouched slightly, one foot behind the other as a brow was cocked once more.

"Yeah... I lost to Hayden, the fucking brute goes to tear me apart like the fucking Flash." Annoyance laced within her words, deep breath taken soon after as her eyes shut for a few good moments. Bod calming itself just slightly, she was here for a reason, not to just get called out on not being good enough... And that reason would be one she'd make herself and wiping the smug grin off his face if this teasing and taunting kept up. Eyes opened once again as she saw him begin to do something odd. Removing his shirt in order to shift about tattoos on his body. Creating a target... A look of confusion taking over her face instead.

And soon, anger wretched control of her facial features once more. Brows furrowing as the image on the wall certainly made her fists clench. A game? Right now? One that let him touch her body in ways that she'd really rather him stay as far as he can away from? Oh hell yes she'll accept if it wipes the cocky grin off his face. Fingers clenching tightly into fists once again as a cocky grin came upon her soft lips, eyes staring forwards as her body leaned forwards now. She was told to begin whenever she wanted, so why not now? Foot in front pushing her hard against the ground, body zooming forwards with as much strength and speed as she could muster as momentum was used for this punch. Body twisting as her right fist was sent straight forwards, aiming to slam squarely into his chest and slam him right against the ground as she landed, hopefully on top.

This was to say if she was able to even start any of this, and if he couldn't out speed her like Hayden apparently could. She definitely didn't want hands over her body, especially in the most sexual of places. And what she hoped the most was that he didn't decide to try and be smooth by taking number one, with a kiss, one of the few things she saved to herself when she lost her innocence in those Pits years ago. Hell, even just weeks ago she was still within that hellhole. But what mattered now was hoping that she could land this blow and not be forced to endure any more of this condescending attitude from him.

Kamui had hit all the right buttons. He could see the gears turning in her head, the anger coming through, the fury at inadequacy coursing through her. It was almost too easy. A soft sigh escaped him at the thought. He knew she had the potential, he knew she held the possibility to excel far beyond her boundaries and it made her a perfect candidate for the Juin. Unfortunately, if she managed to get herself killed due to one of these explosive fits of rage without the ability to size up her opponent, he might end up losing his prized pupil before she even had a chance to reach the echelon he hoped for her. Thankfully, she had very few reservations about jumping right in to the fray, that was something to be admired, even if she did it in anger. Anger was dangerous if not channeled properly and she...was not channeling it properly at all. She rushed in, full of fury, without even bothering to gauge the strength of her opponent...perhaps there wasn't enough for Kamui to work with. As his hands raised in a defensive stance, a soft sigh escaped him. Hopefully she caught on quickly.

Kamui's movements weren't flashy, he wasn't putting his full speed in to his movements at all. They were however just barely enough to outpace the girl. Kamui stepped around to the outside of the incoming blow, placing his same sided foot behind her opposite sided foot, with his two feet pointing towards each other. After that, he would follow up with his left foot, circle behind his opponent's left side and artfully pivot around to her side, causing the fist to sail harmlessly past Kamui. He was not done however. In the same motion, not missing a beat, Kamui's arm would glide down and move to grab a hold of the wrist connected to the fist she had thrown at him. Should he be able to take advantage of her committed strike and grab her wrist, he would apply pressure to the joint by curling the arm backward while simultaneously taking a step forward and placing shifting his center of gravity behind their Elysia's. Then all it would take was a simple push forward to knock her off balance and throw her a few feet forward on to her backside as Kamui would attempt to execute a basic wrist join throw.

Regardless of the outcome of his counter attack, Kamui would kick off the ground and bounce backward and away from her, putting more distance between her and himself, giving her room to try again or, more importantly, for Kamui to be given a chance to speak to her. He'd already angered her in to participating and adding more fuel to the fire was not going to accomplish a whole hell of a lot at this point. Unfortunately, part of teaching someone involved instilling a sense of respect and obedience and this woman was simply too proud. It was a delicate line he'd have to walk. Still, it was a line that was wobbly and it was best to move through it.

"Is Hayden your goal? How do you think he got to where he did? It's not because he's better than you."

Elysia felt a deep need within her. A need to win, to come out on top at this situation. So far, her record within the walls of the Vanguard was 100% loss, and having more losses added unto that to only further enforce her lack of power compared to others seemed to be fuel for the fire. Sure, she was fighting people far above her own power, but wasn't that the reason you sparred with a person that strong in the first place? To learn what those who excel in overpowering do, those that have done this for years use. Already she learned one trick from an ally that sparred her, one that should hopefully prove useful if her first attack failed.

And it seemed just that happened, her first attack failing horrifically. She could feel him taunting her once again with not even using his full speed. Only moving just fast enough to avoid the blow... Something that she actually had an answer to now with Hayden's fight coming into mind. The same situation happening with her as a plan formulated within her head. Her eyes seemed to watch him as he spun around her, body slipping to the side of her and pivoting away from the attack, right into a position where she could apply her momentum into a learned attack. As his fingers shot out towards her wrists, her own body began to pivot on the ground. Left foot that recently touched the ground firmly held there, most of her weight on it as her body swung around. Right led lashing out as she almost spun with it entirely, shin aiming straight for the back of his leg, sailing through the air as she yelled outwards. "Luce Celeritate!" Just a few days in the Vanguard and she already began to pick up tricks. If the blow connected, it would slam against the back of his knee, either attempting to dislocate the knee or force the knee to bend forwards. Left hand previously left behind her was now cocked, zooming forwards to slam against his chest.

This didn't however stop her wrist becoming a target still for his disarm, and if he wished, he was able to try and ignore the blow to grasp at her arm and twist it back, and if he went through to accomplish this, it would lead to a gasp and a loud grunt following it. Body being twisted around and forced to slam against the ground, hitting it rather loudly with her back slamming first. Pain felt, but not affecting her enough to rather keep her down. Eyes narrowed towards him, as whether or not her own blow worked against him or not, body thrown or left standing, she spoke. "Hayden's not my goal, he's a stepping stone. He's a point I want to pass to get to what I really want far past it. He got where he was by fighting, by training, by excelling in combat... And I'm already starting to pick up on his tricks. Use his moves, and become better than him. With time, of course~!" Cocky grin still plastered unto her lips as she didn't quite feel a hand touch any of the designated areas... Luckily. She wasn't so keen on getting groped today, and the further she could avoid it, the better the outcome would be for her personally.

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:

It was a quick movement and unfortunately, perhaps both for Kamui and Elysia, it was not possible for Kamui to really go for her wrist. As she pivoted the initial strike would naturally move way from the effective grasp of Kamui's wrist joint throw. It was no longer an option and consequently, Kamui would not further pursue it. It did however mean he was in a far better position to respond to the continued assault of the girl's limbs. As the foot swiveled around and hurled itself at his knee join, Kamui pushed off the ground, leaping straight in to the air. The leg careened harmlessly beneath him, but at the outset it would appear that Kamui had left himself completely vulnerable, completely open. The first that was heading straight for his sternum was encroaching upon a helpless, airborne adversary. Or, more accurately, it seemed like it would hit that airborne, helpless adversary.

The fist seemed to go through him. In fact, up until the fist actually went through the body before them, it looked as if Kamui had lost the game altogether. Unfortunately for Elysia, what she had struck through was an optical illusion. The Kasumi Gake had activated as soon as Kamui left the ground, leaving behind an after image of his movement, the visage of the man vanishing mere moments after he had been impaled by Elysia's fist. Ideally, before Elysia could realize what had happened, Kamui's heel would descend upon the small of her back. Kamui, having gone over top of her with the Kasumi Gake, had positioned himself behind her, looking to deliver a sharp kick in between her shoulder blades, with enough force to send her flying across the room and in to one of the padded walls, but not enough to cause any real damage outside of the pain associated. Regardless of whether or not she managed to avoid the attack, Kamui's jump arc would continue, catching himself with his arms slightly bent as he'd roll along the ground, performing a picturesque somersault that led straight back in to his ready stance, angled toward where the girl would have been, with a high, narrow stance that kept his elbows close to the body arms positioned across the vitals of the centerline.

"Good, Hayden is far too shallow a goal. You forgot one crucial part of his success, however. Others taught him, as he taught you. Humans succeed by building upon the experience of others. You will not catch him on your own. Help can be yours, if you truly prove you are both worthy and that you desire it."

She was reckless, there were two choices she could have made with her assault. There was the safe way, of throwing sequential attacks that afforded her the chance to defend herself at the cost of potential offensive reward...or she could do what she did and try to throw so many attacks that she overwhelmed her opponent, with no regard to her own well being. She chose the latter...and it most likely bit her on the behind. However it was an admirable quality and one that Kamui could possibly mold...if he was able to instill some form of common sense in to the girl she could be a real threat. Here was to hoping.

A wild grin was seen upon the woman's face. One of joy, victory, conquest, triumphing over someone who definitely wanted to prove that they were leagues ahead of her. Her leg swept through the air, hitting nothing as her target soared into the air above her. Fist rocketing forwards, aimed directly for the center of his chest. This attack left her body's mass at an odd point, and limbs too outstretched to defend, but the goal was only to strike him. Gauntlet slamming into... Nothing. Phasing through his body as her eyes widened. The realization of what had just happened coming upon her too late as her fist soared through the after image. Body left completely defenseless from already exerting so much energy into that one attack.

A sharp pain was felt behind her as her 'foe' made himself known. Foot slamming between the blades of her shoulders, rocketing her body forwards as she was knocked off balance easily. Blow sending her slamming against the padded walls of the room, face first against it as a loud grunt escaped her lips. That hurt quite a bit, but it wasn't enough to dissuade her from continuing the fight. Her body shoved itself off of the wall, heel slamming against the ground as she spun around to face her fighter once more, fists brought up high this time instead of her usual stances. Forearms seemingly shielding her chin and upper body, using a peek-a-boo type of fighting stance usually seen in boxing. Kamui seemed to be in a different stance of his own, preparing to defend himself once again and counter-attack. Everyone seemed to be quite fond of counter-attacking within this base, and against her, it seemed to work well enough. All she needed was something that could break through... Or at least, that's what her mind began to think of rather than taking a more defensive approach. She still seemed receptive of his words, despite the frustration she was surely feeling of being on the losing side once again.

"I never -forgot- about that part. I've always -been- learning. I've been paying attention. I'm self-taught for the most part, and look at where I got. Taunt me all you want with this talk of me not being worthy. You'll definitely realize that when I break a rib or two~!" Perhaps too much of an exaggeration, and probably something impossible for her to do to someone like Kamui, but it's the thought that counts, right? She remained still for a few good moments, staring straight ahead at him... He seemed ready for a defense, and she had to break through it to get that punch off unto his chest. Feet slammed against the hard floor as she dashed forwards, overwhelmingly... When compared to a normal human, but to Kamui, he probably could predict every step she took. If he decided to humor her, she would continue her rush back towards him. Instead of lashing out with a punch to open up, she instead tucked her arms tighter against her body, ducking quickly before slamming her entire body's weight underneath his arms, Arms shooting upwards not for an uppercut, but to create room and hopefully knock his arms away.

If only she had used Awaken Spark!, then perhaps she would be faring better... But she was fairly certain that using powers in something like this was fairly dishonorable and might make him think he could start using all of his. The first thought that came to mind was a headbutt to disorientate him... But no, that's too expected from her. Instead... She pressed her body against his, large, busty bosom slammed against his own chest to try and use her assets as an advantage, feet kicking against the ground to try and use her weight to slide him along the ground. To push him forcefully with her body against a wall, arms remaining at her side during this charge, held upwards almost like shields for her ribs. From what she's seen, he needed room to work, to do his fancy flips, to dodge around a person. If he was backed against a wall, or preferably, a corner, he'd have less room to act. But she has bad memories of others retaliating from the Pits. A memory playing within her head.

Blow after blow, punch after punch and the male in front of her was being bombarded with attacks. Knuckles slamming against his chest again and again to forcefully push him off into a corner of the arena they fought in. Once he was trapped there, she went to town, full assault as blow after blow went for his head. Some seemed to hit, blood splattering along the walls as he was forced to bring his arms up, trying to defend before... Ducking underneath one blow, hands grasping at her arm and twisting it painfully. Scream of pain elicited from her lips as brute strength was used to hurl her into where he just was, changing positions as she found herself on the ground, back to him as her wrist was squeezed further. Twisted and twisted harder, nearly shattering her joints as a foot slammed into her back over and over, heel hitting her spine over and over as she couldn't escape... She barely got out alive at that fight. She soon found herself back in the action, attempting this move if everything went perfectly before it. At least if you're pressed against a wall, you can roll to the sides... A corner was death if they could get you down unto the ground.

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:

Kamui's playful, stoic grin simply widened as she got back to her feet, more angry than wounded at his daring to strike her. That was good. As proficient as Kamui was with his martial arts, raw strength and the damage it could create was never it. If he was not applying Chi to his strikes, as he had not done thus far, the actual damage Kamui could do was remarkably small. At least comparatively to many beings in this world. Kamui's abilities were far more...esoteric in nature than raw destructive power. As such, he was not expecting her to be put down from a simple kick to the back, but even still it was surprising that she was so willing to get right back up and run at him. Then again, she was an inherently stubborn person, she could very well be experiencing all sorts of pain and demonstrating none of it outwardly. Kamui watched quietly as the wheels churned in her head. No, she wasn't going to play defense, that wasn't her style, she wasn't able to slow down. It was an admirable trait, it was going to get her killed, but it was admirable.

"And think of where you could be if you weren't."

Of course it was impressive. There was a lot to be said for her ability to get to where she was at simply on her own merits, even if she learned her abilities from studying others which, in and of itself, made her not especially self-taught. The problem however lied in the fact that while she could watch, learn, and understand the basics of other people's moves, she was not able to to think beyond that. Her thoughts were super linear, super direct, super straight forward and, if tempered, that could be a substantial strength. However, without that, with simply her own directionless straight line, she would eventually reach a wall she could not climb past solely on her own abilities. He wanted to, for his own selfish reasons mind you, give her the tools to climb that wall or, better yet, to blow right through it. Which appeared to be what she wanted to do to him.

Kamui was rushed at and, at first, did not give up any ground. He was expecting an attempt to carry out her threat, a strike at his ribs. What he was not expecting was what came next, it was a rather good maneuver. Her attempt to knock away his hands worked, to an extent. As her arms shot forward toward him, Kamui back pedaled one pace, moving entirely out of the way of her move and keeping his hands more than unperturbed, what would not go unperturbed however was his chest. There were advantages to being the kind of calm, calculated, analytic fighter that Kamui was. It was difficult to outmaneuver him in a conventional manner and he was very, very talented about cornering his opponent with their own moves. However, the strongest swordsman in the world need not fear the second strongest swordsman, they will both do the proper thing and the better warrior will win. No, who he needs to fear is the random peasant holding a blade for the first time. Not because they are better, but because they do not do what they should. Kamui was expecting further rampant aggression from her, a headbutt, a knee strike, a flying elbow. What he was not expecting was what had allowed her to land her first quasi-hit upon him. Kamui, surprisingly, was watching everything but her breasts...for once. He kept track of her limbs her head, her feet, everything but the thing she rammed in to him with. He was not sure if she was intentionally playing on his "weakness" as a pervert but it was a clever maneuver nonetheless. The woman's breasts collided with Kamui's chest and she did not have much trouble shoving him back and in to the wall, her chest squishing against his being a rather enjoyable experience despite the situation. However, his arms were still free. Kamui's hands were quick to move and instead of going to one of the zones he had marked for targeting, his hands quickly shot to wrap around her wrists a few moments before the pair of them collided in to the wall.

"I can make you stronger, even quickly too. The training will be painful though, both physically and emotionally. I only ask for one thing in return as well."

Kamui's facial expression had not changed from the second she met him, even through all of this. It was a good tactic, she had effectively identified two potential weaknesses in her opponent, the first being his fascination with her breasts and the second being that he seemed to be smaller, physically weaker, and in need of room to move. She seemed to have gotten the perfect situation to defeat her opponent, having him pinned against the wall, but the question that came next was if she'd be willing to go for it without consideration. There was always a threat, always a chance that the glorious opening that was seen was not there at all, was a facade, was a trap. What oh what would she do?
