The rustle of the wind within the courtyard of the training area, with dust beginning to pick up off the sun bleached dirt. The broken and cracked earth beneath the feet of anyone within the the yard had seen years worth of boots and shoes over the course of its establishment, from common foot soldiers to those in high command. This ground was sacred to every foot soldier who came in for it was the area you entered to better yourself, when war was on the doorstep it was particularly crowded today between the number of new recruits and older dogs of war sharing these grounds. One entering would see a plethora of races and people all training for one single goal: to become strong enough to protect earth.

Among these men and women stood newly appointed third seat Desmond Hayden, who himself was practicing his Hakuda techniques today. His robes were cast aside today with his Zanpakutō buried within the earth and his robes rested on top of them. This was his routine to keep his robes from touching the dirt along with not being constricted by them, his lower robes was the only thing he had on so he could feel the earth beneath his feet. This was the day he was practicing the secondary part to his Hellhound fighting style that utilized his Hakuda to his fullest extent. So as he closed his fist it was time he developed his true Hakuda techniques and if any recruit wanted to come up and be his sparring partner then they would be up for quite a brawl today. In fact he had a plethora of new moves he was interested in using against them. It was time to truly unlock the hellhound hid inside the calm and laid back Hayden because when word came down of the operation that would be taking place soon he knew it was time to come up a few notches.

“Who’s up for a sparring match!?”

Elysia, a brand new recruit, found herself out on a courtyard. She seemed to be observing for the most part, leaning against one of the nearby walls as her form of relaxing. Arms crossed over her chest as her attire seemed fairly obvious. She seemed to despise robes and any loose clothing, incredibly short denim shorts clinging tightly to her thighs, belt keeping it there tightly with a white shirt trailing up to her chest. Leaving some breathing room as a black jacket trailed down her arms to seemingly golden gauntlets covering most of her forearm and knuckles. Fingers wearing tight black gloves as she seemed, as stated before, to be observing. Boots upon her feet kicking up a bit of the dirt as she shifted in place.

Soon, her eyes fell upon a fairly different figure standing around. Blade piercing the hard earth with their robes set up upon them, presumably to not get dirtied by the ground. The figure that seemed to own these objects was quite large himself. Body brimming with vigor and life as a small smirk came upon Elysia's lips. A challenge? A chance to spar someone stronger and greater than her? How could she possibly pass this up, considering she wasn't a stranger to violence. Slowly she pushed herself off the wall, boots hitting the ground as dirt kicked up behind her each time, smirk still plastered unto her face as arms swung by her sides. Fingers soon found themselves clenched into fists, body ready to fight someone completely new.

"Yo, I'll fight you, just remember that I'm not afraid to break a few bones~." The last part coming across as teasing, body shifting slightly as weight was put unto one hip, a single hand resting upon it as she stared towards Hayden. Her target certainly looked tough, but not someone she couldn't hold up against. And if a Shinigami didn't have their special blade weapon that she's seen around, they must have been much weaker. "Elysia, make sure to remember it."

The challenger that stepped up to Hayden proclamation seemed fairly confident in their abilities as they stepped to him. The young woman was a face he hadn’t seen which excited him; it wasn't every day you met a new enemy who seemed so confident and fierce. Perhaps it was her outfit or the fiery challenge she made but his heart was pumping sweet adrenaline into his veins as he smirked nodding his head at her. What was this life if you couldn’t enjoy a fight or two on the path to greatness, every day he went about this life he knew his life could be ended but he choose to keep on this path not cause he wanted to but because it was the right thing to do at the end of the day. Despite how much rivalry these two would have he knew that they both joined this organization to protect earth and the best way to do that was to get stronger. He respected this person for that despite not even knowing them yet, as he did every single one of his comrades that fought beside him in this sacred field of dirt.

“Then enter this circle; I like the proclamation so don’t disappoint… Elysia!”

As he spoke loud enough for anyone to hear it would cause a murmur as people cleared out of the large circle big enough for someone of their caliber to really fight. It was strange to see the third seat going against a new recruit but in this organization you never know who is stronger than who till you get into a fight and begin to battle. These shield brothers and sister all knew they must stand united to protect this earth but they must all be made of strong wood if they are to stand alone. No one knew this better than Hayden as his fight with Wolf was known throughout the Vanguard by now; when he was a fresh member he went toe to toe with Wolf surprisingly managed to live despite loosing. His tenacity and drive to protect this world was strong but no one truly knew how strong or capable he was just of yet; rumor has it he recently obtained his shikai. But Hayden was looking to train something much more elusive to shinigami and that was Hakuda.

Hayden was on the higher tier when it came to Hakuda users and on his way to becoming a master if he so wished it; from the fighting stance he took it was obvious he was looking to train up his Hakuda. She may not know of the shinigami hand to hand fighting style but Hayden surely knew and had even developed his own style that went hand in hand with the offensive Zanjutsu he used, yep it was shaping up to be a good match. As she would come into the Ring his eyes would focus on her as the world began to drown out all outside noises as his eagle eye focus went into play. Hayden had the talent to tap into his master level focus to fight a enemy and not lose a single piece of data in the fight, in fact he knew as they fought how much energy to use to cause all his attacks to be the most effective which conserved energy along with giving him the edge. When he punched he knew how to condense all his pressure into a single point, he knew that with this level of skill it would make the difference in this fight or any fight really when used by the right person.

“I hope you’re ready.”

With those words the battle would ignite in a blaze as Hayden shunpo activated moving at a speed that only those of dedicated speed users would see, but on top of his advance natural speed and shunpo he was moving at a far faster rate than someone his size or any normal hand to hand fighter would move. Their would leave a afterimage that any shunpo expert might notice; then again she wasn’t a shunpo expert. He fully intended to use his racial skills and natural abilities to the fullest in this practice attack he would be using finally in combat. As he disappeared into the hyper speed in a instant he would appear in front of her but he spared no time as a strong leg was swinging towards her causing a high pitch sound as it flew through the air. It was aimed for the back of her left leg to cause her to either be forced to her knee or her knee pop out it’s socket. Whichever came first. The exact for he was using was strong enough to dent steel so it wasn’t his full strength, he sacrificed that for superior speed but none the less it would be devastating to normal humans.

“Luce Celeritate!”

He yelled this out to inform well anyone who might be interested in this move, it was the name for what he had just performed. It utilized his speed to send a crippling strike to his enemy to get them ready for the second set of his combo; but it also allowed him to skip to the next part should the strike fail. For if she attempted to move out of the way of the attack she would find him moving to block her exit this time pivoting on his feet to send the hill of his right foot straigh to her upper ribs with enough force to shatter a normal human ribs into pieces but for her’s it might just cause her to break a few. She was apart of the Vanguard so he hoped she wasn’t so fragile that she couldn’t take his strength. He had high hopes for this fight so if she showed she was weak after all he’d be irritated.

Finally despite how this combo may have ended up he would begin to shuffle back slightly as his body tensed for the attacks that may be coming his way, but at the same time his left leg was flexing hard as if beginning to summon the strength for a attack that would have some oomph behind it. It was clear he would not waver in this fight and the two would be going back to back; now it was time for her to act.

A New Face (Game Dragon/Morph) Empty Re: A New Face (Game Dragon/Morph)

The woman, clad in a faint shroud of mystery considering how new she was, was quite glad to see how receptive this man was of her joining. Long ago, back in those godforsaken pits she was used to sexism. People assuming that because she was a girl, she could surrender so the fight would end quicker. And she was a fair portion of the time the person to shut them up. Each step was slow and deliberate, heel hitting the ground as the rest of her foot followed, body held up high and strong, back straight with eyes staring towards Hayden. The cocky smirk from before was still plastered unto her face, fists tightening further as she found herself stepping over the line making the ring. The challenge was accepted, and now, she was ready to fight. It's only been a while since she's last had to fight for her life, body remembering the older aches. Those were quickly shaken asides, focus put straight unto the fighter in front of her.

She's heard of a few rumors whilst she's been within this base. Of the members within and who to avoid. Of course, she had no idea who this truly was, as most rumors were simply that, a name and their strength. But rumors or not, this man seemed to be one of the people rumors were spread about, of their strength... And considering she was one of the only people who accepted this challenge, it was a fair assumption to make. Her head roughly rocked from side to side, muscles loosening themselves as the cracking of her bones were heard. Knuckles brought up to each hand as they were cracked loudly. Her way of prepping for a fight. She already was met with his own stare towards her. Eyes focusing in on her very being, trying to learn more about her. This was where her obscure background came into play, cocky smirk only growing in size on her face at the realization that he knew nothing about her. On the other side of the coin, she knew nothing of him... But didn't that just make things like this more fun?

Quickly, she took her self-made fighting stance. A method she had to come up with due to the Pits. A horrific place that shaped her into the woman she was here today. Standing among people who considered themselves heroes. She was not here to be heroic. She was here to get vengeance. Against those that did her wrong, and any others out there who were wronged simply for greed or wrath or any other great sin that led to the downfall of families and nations. Boots slid across the dirt ground, one foot shifting back behind her, another kept strongly placed in front, most of her weight seemingly on that one as fists were cocked. Her right arm resting by her hip, fist clenched as it was held back behind her slightly, seemingly her main arm for attacking. The left one however, was held up vertically in front of her, back of her hand facing towards Hayden as four fingers were raised, waving him forwards. Taunting him.

"Yo! I'm ready, and make sure not to hold back, I need as much training as I can get against people like you!" Mocking tone behind her voice, obviously meant to rile up the other fighter to get them in their peak condition for the spar. Her body prepped itself, years fighting for her life training it to the point that she far surpassed many of the others she was forced to fight against in that horrid place... But sadly enough, that strength was easily matched in places like that. Her own powers that were once awakened challenged by many others who used their entire life... Or even afterlife to train for combat. To fight those that need to be challenged and brought down. Eyes squinted towards him, air around her getting all the more tense.

Before she could even react, the man seemed to almost teleport in front of her. Eyes visibly widening in the split moment he used to make his attack. The look on her face showing pure surprise... And the fact that she wasn't revealed to this type of power before. Large, heavy foot of the more experienced fighter swept towards the back of her knee, force slamming into it as she grunted. The leg furthest out forwards forced to bend, the girl falling unto the ground as the pain was certainly overwhelming to someone who didn't come in expecting this. Despite the obvious pain that taxed upon her, she didn't give up.

As Hayden stepped away, her fists were brought together in front of her, slamming against one another, gauntlet hitting gauntlet as she yelled outwards. "AWAKEN SPARK!" Despite resting upon her knees and shins instead of standing, her power flared outwards. Pure Riatsu felt by the Shinigami flaring out from her being. Bolts of pure electricity began to coarse along every inch of her being before condensing at her fists. Surrounding them in pure energy as one hand soon rested upon the ground. Holding most of her weight up as both legs lept out from under her to behind, crouching almost and in a sprinter's starting position as she stared forwards. The energy within her gauntlets powering up as for a moment, she remained still.

"BULLET SHOT!" With those words uttered from her lips, she burst forwards in a display of speed, almost a blue as she was in front of Hayden. Body crouched down and bent over as most of her mass was close to the ground, single gauntlet raised and slamming against his stomach if he was unable to make a defense. Metal digging into flesh as the Awaken Spark! ability seemed to be more noticeable. Volts of electricity shooting force into his mass as a large amount of momentum pushed against his body, attempting to send him flying back rather than trying to pierce flesh. Wether or not the attack landed, the woman attempted to duck to the left, body close to the ground before leaping upwards, legs kicking against the ground in a form of hopping to have her standing once more. Both gauntlets held over her chest in a fashion more similar to a boxer. All of this only happening if Hayden didn't have a way to counter-act her speed, despite his shunpo being much more instant than her dash.

The fun was just starting it seemed as the woman made the effort to come back at him with just as much force as before. It was admirable to see someone willing to go beyond their limits to do battle with him or anyone for that fact. For that he would make sure she got her money's worth when it came to this battle, he allowed her to perform her buff on herself as his leg remained tensed so much that the dirt was breaking underneath it his foot. You see Hayden was already preparing his next attack as she readied herself to attack him so when it finally came for him to defend he already had a counter set up for the attack. The energy rippling off her as she activated her ‘Awakened Spark’ instantly was known to him as lightning due to his natural affinity to it this caused something to pop within him, maybe it was seeing his element being used against him or maybe it was seeing another proficent lightning user but the end result was clear; he was excited.

As she made her come back against him his leg finally released all that pent up energy as the second move to his combo made itself known. Not only was he sending this kick at his full base strength, he had increased the muscle output to 25% above the normal amount his muscles used; when humans did this they were able to perform amazing feats like lifting cars and running incredibly fast. So when he did this it was not to be taken lightly, seeing as he had the advantage of focusing on her so intent he could see when she twitched to come at him he released the kick able to time the perfect connection time to not only parry the attack with not only equal force but more he was able to keep the kick going to drag her arm along as it pushed her to the right forcefully with enough power to shatter the ribs of normal people. However, despite if she wanted to keep moving away he was already shifting his body at hyper speed to send his right leg this time as he pivoted in a roundhouse kick aimed directly for their neck still increasing his muscle output consistently. The kick if she didn’t make the attempt to block could easily cripple them as he let loose the devastating combo.

“Bisectur!”

This was the name of the second combo he performed, he named it this cause if performed correctly he could literally rip a enemy in two from the force exerted so quickly on opposite sides of their body. This shinigami was no scrub when it came to fighting hand to hand but he certainly refused to go easy on her, she was meant to be a potential comrade of his so she needed to survive his onslaught. While he was moving at a hyper speed she would have time to respond to the neck as he didn’t want to kill her, as for the kick that was aimed at her arm to parry it that would take the full brunt potentially he hoped breaking her arm. They’d fix it.

However, now it was time for him to prepare and tactically prepare his body for the next set of power he would be releasing. In fact his reiatsu began to become unsuppressed as his mind began to focus it into his fists before his feet quickly shifted apart a bit wider than his shoulders as he tucked his arms into his side letting out a low growl as his muscles began to pulse as he began to enter into what liked mentally dubbed ‘third gear’ which was when he began to increasing his muscle usage in both his arms to fifty percent something even for him could be taxing but completely durable. He predicted he could exchange five to six series of back to back attacks, or roughly four posts, before he needed to kick it down a notch if he didn’t want to start injuring himself. His muscles began to pulse larger as if he was gaining more mass to them but they were actually condensing his reiatsu into them causing them to expand and de-expand before setting as he kept his eyes trained on the woman. He was about to unleash the third move in his combination series, he suspected she might be coming at him with everything but he planned to be doing the same as well.

“Give me everything you got because you might die if you don’t!”

These were the words of warning he gave her as he condensed a good piece of his energy into his arms so tightly that his muscles looked completely tensed and strained just from tucking them in towards his body. His veins were pumping his blood at such a high rate that his veins were popping out of his arms as he waited for her attack, he was indeed trying out attacks no one had ever seen him perform but this was simply the time he was using to perfect every attack and so far he had a good idea of how to perform them. Each attack required to have some type of backing to it to cause the best amount of damage but his master level of focus allowed him to use the right amount and not cause an overly crazy amount of collateral damage but that last series of attack had kicked up a good amount of dirt even causing some other recruits to back away stumbling.

Yeah. Yeah this match was going to be intense. If nothing else these two might end up destroying the small circle he had made for them to battle. But truthfully that was fine because upon this sacred dirt the whole field was their battle field if they so wished. One of them would walk away the victor and the other would walk away with a drive to beat the other; for today with each hit and clash would result in a long standing rivalry even if the two never acknowledged it.

Felt her fist impact something during her Bullet Shot, something she was used to people not being able to react too. Eyes widening in the split second as the force of Hayden's foot slammed into her gauntlet from the side. Her powers... Negated?! Riatsu, pure spiritual energy lashing out from her fists having their effect almost entirely nullified with this kick, only impact from her attack applying in this situation. Who was this person? How were they able to challenge something that she thought of as one of her best assets? This however was the least of her worried, her punch being parried. She usually preferred being a fluid fighter, and with that mind set, trying to brute force her way past the past wasn't something high on her list of priorities.

She moved with the momentum of the kick, arm being knocked away as her body was forced to spin to the right now. Pain swelled up within her arm, making it difficult to just shrug this off. Luckily, metal gauntlets did their job of acting as a form defense if her offense ever fucked up, and her offense seemed to have fucked up big time here. With her body shifted to the side, she was only able to catch a side-ways glimpse at Hayden. Her own heightened speed coming into play as she saw his foot swinging towards her, seemingly a high kick to aim somewhere that could be lethal. She decided to use the momentum that the kick to her gauntlet gave her, letting her body spin to the side entirely before suddenly becoming a blur once again. Dashing straight in the direction she was facing.

"BULLET SHOT!" The words were said when she reached her destination, away from Hayden. His foot only swinging through the empty air as it hit the hard dirt soon after. His attack missing after the first connected. Elysia's body quickly spun around to face him once more. Arm aching in pain as the quick bursts of movement was taxing on her already sore leg. It was becoming more and more obvious that this new recruit wasn't quite as fragile as some of the others. Or at the very least, was able to mask the pain they felt quite well. Arm's cocked both behind her now. She's fallen into his trap once already... This man seemed to do better with time to prepare himself, time to increase his own strength. She wasn't the most spiritually aware, but it didn't take a genius to be able to tell that the fighter a few yards away from her was powering up further now.

Fingers curled into fists as she prepared herself, taking a strong stance now as well. Feet firmly planted against the ground as electricity surged forth from her gauntlets. Each arm held at her sides, knuckles facing towards her sparring combatant with another sly grin forming upon her lips. Sure, she hadn't gotten a clean hit in on him, but she was learning things she definitely didn't know before. A move of his memorized in her head, and another just seen performed by him. Both involving kicks, obviously a strong point in Hayden's martial arts to her knowledge. Elysia had already used a fair amount of her energy in those two quick spurts of combat, only getting a brief moment to rest as she had to decide upon her next action.

And the next action seemed to be waiting for Hayden to dash towards her this time, eyes trained directly unto him as the smirk still stared forwards. Taunting him, trying to get a larger spark of emotions to erupt forth. This is what she wanted. To be at the disadvantage, to be the underdog, the one that would benefit far greater from this win or lose. A rivalry between these two must have been destined, set in stone as their first interaction already led to the both of them using most of their strength... Though one's power seemed to surpass the others, tenacity was obvious in both however. And now, more words were shouted forth. Almost a threat in Elysia's mind rather than a warning. To give it her all or else die. Wasn't that her entire life already? The proclamation lead to her roaring out, letting loose a howl as the smirk only grew as far as it could, her body slumping over slightly. Bent over as fists were kept strong, torso gently bobbing and swaying from side to side. A trick? Or just her getting ready to move if needed. Either option seemed available for the time being, but now all she needed to do was wait, and prepare herself for Hayden's next display of strength.

Hayden arms were pulsing with energy at this point having kicked it up to fifty percent usage to improve his punching speed and strength so much so that one hit could be devastating on it’s own. Every vein that exploded from his arm was coursing with Death Matter and Reishi as his body forced itself to kick up into the third gear. His attacks would be thunderous now that he had time to focus this strength and speed into a tangible force; perhaps she had saw that he was countering her left and right but this was something you wanted to stop quickly but by now he had built up energy and power. His hazel eyes locking with her’s as the floor began to crack under his feet indicating his intention to move, that was the cost of having such power flowing through you ended up increasing your weight. Truthfully he was weighing around three hundred pounds right now not that it would slow him down any due to his superior strength and speed.

The instant the earth kicked up he had vanished into a shunpo forming afterimages surrounding the woman to throw her off, this moved banked on his speed but none the less he was able to form afterimages with ease that all looked to be facing her. It would be pretty intimidating to see this hulking man surrounding you before converging on the single person, while it felt like a series a of punches were coming from him in fact it was him moving so fast and his arms pistoning that it just seemed like the afterimages were hitting her. It might even confuse someone into believing that these were clones. Even if she was able to try to move out of the way he would be able to cut her escape off due to the constant barrage of high speed punches and the precise strength behind them. They were even stronger than his kicks due to the muscle increase in each thunderous blow capable of breaking advance level Hierro of hollows and Arrancar. If she attempted to counter them she would meet the blows full on, this is where the gap in strength truly was presenting itself if she wished to challenge it. Each attack was aimed at a joint or the weakened areas she had able to strike that spot with the force, speed, and accuracy only those with master's level focus could muster. The amount of punches that would be sent at her no matter where she went would be around twenty precise punches aimed at her weakened areas and other joints. Despite if she hit him or tried to push him away he would fight through the pain

Once this series of punches would land he would begin to dash away from her beginning to feel the wear and tear of his body pushing these new abilities to such an extent. The name of the move he performed was called ‘Ravenous Dragon’ due to the ferocity and strength he attacked with despite the damage that would come to himself. This woman might be able to survive that onslaught but he knew from the slight changes in her movement she was injured just like injured prey he pounced on her when's he showed that weakness. You see the reason why this combo would be so devastating is because the speed at which those punches were sent was faster than he had ever moved within his shinigami career and with enough force to trample buildings all packed into precise strikes for her weak points. If she remained standing after taking that full on or even fifty percent of those attacks it would be through sheer stubbornness or tenacity. But the strength difference was truly showing himself as he allowed himself to delve deep into his energy and powers to perfect his new found powers. His muscles within his arms were burning at this point nagging for him to rest them from but he knew she might still be standing despite the dust storm he kicked up from all those rapid movements. But the power he was using was the most he had just spent through this fight, despite how fast this fight was progressing from the blown away recruits and dust storm now in the air from his movements it was clear he was giving it his all.

But now he stood hidden within the mist but still easily able to sense and predict her movements due to her spiritual pressure being easy for him to locate so close, then again he was already preparing to dash away if need be. No. He was going to end this soon when the chance presented himself but for now he would meet her head on, focusing on his regenerative properties into his right arm as he dropped his muscle useage to a normal amount. He let out a breath feeling his body beginning to fix his arms, this wouldn’t take an insane amount but his muscles were breaking down and he needed them to be at a good amount if he planned to execute his next attack efficiently. His body began to sway slightly as he remained light on his feet intending to move if he felt they were going to close in on him; now it was a game of cat and mouse… but who was who? Only time would tell. Meanwhile his muscles were repairing themselves efficiently enough so within a few moments he would be able to launch his finisher at them. He began to condense the remaining Reishi in his body into his right arm at the time to speed up the healing process and began stage one of the attack he was planning, it was a three stage attack so infusing his spiritual energy into his fist and arm was the first part. Hayden was ready; he was ready to finish this and her with his final ability if he could land this it would be GAME OVER.

ENTER THE HYBRID KING

AZURE IRAMASHA
ハイブリッドキング

Song: UNKNOWN - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 810

The Autumn breeze roared across the fields of Karakura, racing in and out of its skyscrapers and beautiful landscapes to meet a single man, his black locks flowing erratically with the breeze's movements. Azure Iramasha smile softly as stood outside of the Vanguard's Hidden base, his eyes flickering left and right as he watched his subordinates go about their days. It seemed that he had finally found a sense of purpose with those here, and for that he expected nothing but an equal respect from them. They were his family now, those that wish to stand by him are only the greatest of people to him. The soft smile he held was for those willing to do, not say.

Taking his leave from the outer world, he stepped into the base's interior, the large expansive space they occupied within Sukai Karakura. It's extreme length only allowed for people to do as they pleased. Research, training, building their technology and becoming diplomats through training, it seemed that the Vanguard were indeed moving towards a greater goal. They weren't standing still anymore, they were moving towards a goal that had to be met. This was a thought that never left their leader's thoughts, that and their protection. He wouldn't have any of his members dying on him anytime soon, that was his duty. Those in the Unknown, the wardens and himself were the first to leave this world, if anything.

Soft steps led the Hybrid Iramasha to an elevator, a single press of its buttons sent the doors rocketing open, the male stepping in. "Destination: Training Grounds" With the voice command being said, the elevator dropped fast, too fast for any simple human to not grow sick or pained from. In the split second that it had dropped, Azure's body jolted upwards the elevator reached its destination, a large white floor filled with rings, mats, training equipment and personalized android assistants to assist in battle. Azure was among those that trained to fight for a purpose, he once joined here in training when he first arrived, constantly training his members to only help. It had been awhile, however, given the fact he's been too busy dealing with the world's people. It was nice to see the area was used, and busy as ever. Removing his jacket, the man threw it to the side and rolled up the sleeves of his pure white dress shirt. Loosening his red tie only slightly, he smiled. He would be having fun now that he had the chance to.

Cracking his knuckles, Azure's surveyed the area before his ears had a chance to perk outward. Hayden's voice was caught among the loud white room. His voice was distinct, his movements clanging against the surface of one of the areas within the room. Taking it upon himself to make a scene, as always, Azure went bounding against the thick white of the room's floor. His feet left soft sounds as he jolted forward, those training around him staring as if he just beat one of his own down. In fact, that wasn't what he was here for. Finally reaching the edge of the ring, Azure slid the rest of the way into what was a dirt filled circle, his body jolting one more as his foot slammed softly into the young girl's ankle, causing her to fall as his other foot reached upward to block the first blow Hayden had sent outward. Twisting his body against the dirt, he spun upward to his feet, catching another hit from Hayden with his hand as he caught the girl herself in his other arm.

"Well then, aren't you a cute one."

Azure winked at the girl, looking at Hayden now as he smirked. Bringing the girl to her feet, the male smiled softly as he spoke once more.

"No need to be so rough, guys. Cool your jets, take a break."

Removing himself from the two, the hybrid stretched outward, letting out an extensive yawn as he did so. It was good to see his recruits were working together so well, and it was even nicer to see that a lot of them were toooo cute. It was nice to simply see the Vanguard moving yet again, his eyes flickering among those that were laughing around them. Some spoke of Azure as if he was a doof, and some felt it funny that they both were stopped so abruptly. It was all in good sport, however. They knew that all too well.

"Well then, now that I've caused enough issues for you two, how about we take that break and speak a little?"

A smile formed among the young male's mouth, his topaz eyes flashing as he looked at the beautiful white haired woman that was training with the rough Hayden.

"Also, as a side note. I'm Azure Iramasha, The Leader of The Vanguard. It's nice to meet you, beautiful."

The tenacious fighter found herself staring straight ahead once again. Muscles within her arms and legs tensing in preparation for a defense, or what she planned on actually doing, a counter-offense. This was a fight she hadn't expected to turn so harshly so quickly. Joints still hurt from the strain upon them, right knee in pain from the kick landed unto it as the energy sparking off of her still seemed to be mostly raw power. Riatsu flaring out as her lack of training in control of power was obvious. Too much being lost in the quick spurts of action she needed to take to survive this spar. And with how hard this person seemed to swing towards her, it felt a little bit more personal then just a 'spar' at this point.

Volts of electricity began to surge throughout her fists and body once more as the afterimages began to approach her. She could tell this was speed now, not just teleportation. A person moving faster than she could, reacting to threats with a greater efficiency when compared to herself. The challenge, the threat of actual harm began to spark her fighting spirit further. Grin growing wider and wider as her hair began to stand up, bolts of lightning arcing between as her power reserves were tapped into heavily. Canines even revealed as she tried to track every movement of the other fighter. Only able to see each afterimage get closer and closer, nearing her before stepping right in front of her, ready to send a barrage of fists towards her much weaker body.

Cocked arms went to rocket forwards, lips parting as she began to shout out. "Bullet S-" Mid-way into her sentence something strange happened. The energy that propelled her forwards met something in the way... A foot. Hitting her ankle as she lost almost all of her momentum, widened eyes showing a look more similar to fear and confusion rather than determination when compared to before. Falling forwards towards the ground before an arm reached outwards, acting as a barrier to keep her from hitting the ground and even lifting her up. This wasn't Hayden. This wasn't the violent brute who nearly tore through her neck if she didn't have the speed she had access too. Soon she was standing tall, body left tensing and relaxing, confused if she should keep fighting.

At least until she saw Hayden dealt with, and someone new. Eyelids left fluttering as she was called cute. The last time she was called cute was by someone who seemed ready to tear her 'cute young face' into two pieces in the Pits. She was left without a word to utter, lips parting slightly as she tried to think of something, hair falling back down to it's normal appearance as she was told to stop her fighting. This led to another odd feeling. Both of relief and annoyance, she was fighting to get stronger obviously... But a break meant she could relax and gather her strength again and let the aching pain fade away. A deep breath was taken, chest rising as she was at least appreciative enough to enjoy this one quick moment.

Her eyes soon met with Azure's, eyes of a similar color meeting his as the once battle-ready woman seemed a bit more hesitant to act. Arms at her sides as all of the arcing electricity around her seemed to fade away. Ready to respond to him before hearing the last two parts. Leader of the Vanguard... And beautiful. Face scrunching up just slightly, lips pursed. Why would the leader just so randomly call for a break... And why would someone with that power waste time trying to flatter her? Sure, it was working well, and it let to a very awkward smile from her. "I-I'm uh. Uhm." A quick clearing of her throat before lips curled down into a frown, on purpose as she seemed to pout slightly. "T-The names Elysia... Nice to meet you too." A hand stretched outwards towards the Hybrid for a handshake as the smile soon returned.

Of course. Of course he would show up.

Hayden hands would have made contact with each of Azure fist despite having kicked his stuff up beyond his normal limits which would frustrate the male. He always hated how his leader made a flashy entrance particularly now more than all, he was having a sparring match that was supposed to indicate of how far he has come but now it was interrupted as the male took control of the situation. None the less Hayden would end up on the other side of the circle clinching his fist so hard that a black substance began to drip from his hand, his blood mixed with death matter as he found those negative emotions rushing over him. As of lately Azure might have noticed Hayden may have grown distant from his former mentor in his eyes; as if there a gap forming between the two neither one of them addressed as of yet. Maybe it was a resentment building up within the male perhaps from having been in his shadow for so long or feeling as if the more he advance the further the rode ahead of him got- despite his view on the world recently something about his leader was making him grow colder to him.

Hayden watched as the man performed his flashy routine rolling his eyes as the area around Hayden began to turn to normal his torn muscle in his arm repairing themselves as he dropped his muscle usage and reiatsu. His eyes closed as he listened for a moment as the two exchanged conversation as he worked his magic on her, another reason for him to mentally scoff as he began to walk over to them. His More Duck towards them was one of unyielding resolve as he encounter his leader offering a nod to them as a sign of respect; despite how his personal feelings may be he was still his leader and Hayden was a soldier. He would march onward as was his duty to this organization and his friends here; despite how few they were seeming as each day passed. When he joined the Vanguard he knew they were at a disadvantage but everyday it kept growing.. harder. Each day was beginning to feel like it was going to be a struggle to simply make sure no one died.

“I recall you shattering my entire torso when I was weaker than her.”

Ah that was a memory back when he was young buck within the Vanguard when he actually held his leader on some type of idol. That had changed. Ever since his encounter with Wolf they rarely spoke and when they did it was about formal stuff, Hayden knew his anger and resentment towards Wolf ran deep; deeper than the death matter in his veins he now used daily. Ever fiber of his being grew annoyed and even slightly enraged at how weak he used to be and how he was not; his body yelled at him to rest many times but he powered through each training session as if his life depended on it and in truth it did. Every punch and kick was a step closer to his overarching goal to put Wolf in the ground and surpass Azure one day. Maybe it was what was building this slow burning resentment turning into hatred; a hatred he hadn’t acknowledged yet but had been forming ever since Wolf. Sooner or later the man would burst and each session like this was his way of relieving the steam; but today that steam had to stay bottled.

“Reagent General, You need to speak with us about the Vanguard or is this a social call- with a war brewing I don’t have time to relax.”

This was the unspoken truth to him, he had no time to relax hell the world itself was growing foreign to him. While he held the respect of many soldiers within his area of operations and he showed his camaraderie to them his anger was brewing from how often he felt he couldn’t protect them; that he needed them to be as strong as him or they would die. He just wanted them to be able to defend themselves or be the wall they needed, not anyone else. To many had already died and it weighed so heavy upon the male despite how much he hid it through his fake smiles and his angry punches; the only time he was truly free was when people saw him fighting. The tenacious fighting he had was something to be feared but at what cost was he going to obtain this power at what point would he self-destruct. If Azure, Elysia, Selia, or someone didn’t stop him where was Hayden heading?

“You fought well Elysia, better than me when I first joined the Vanguard; Next time we have to see each other fight lets being fighting together and I expect for you to out do me.”

This was the kindest words he could offer as his hand relaxed its grip, the scrapes that he had formed from clenching his hand was already trying to mend itself. It was like him in reality, despite how much damage he caused himself mentally or physically he had to fix himself because people like this recruit needed him to be sane. They needed him to fight for them or be there beside them when he fought. Yet, a rivarly had sparked between them and note quite a angry one. More of something that would force him to become better while having someone that could keep up with him.

“I will be calling it a day training wise. I may have let myself get a bit out of hand.”
