Rework of Hanako Shikijou Empty Rework of Hanako Shikijou

Rework of Hanako Shikijou Hitomi-coolart

What I intended to do is to restore her to her original idea before I was influenced to have her moved to Karakura Central when she is originally meant to be in Osaka, a city in Japan outside of Karakura Central. As a powerless human, Hanako has to rely on her mixed-martial arts for self-defense, but with my style focusing on the social tension (aka Drama) rather than the martial tension (aka Combat), there will be times that combat would make things worse for her. As a privileged girl with rich parents and an Iramasha prince for a husband, she is usually associated with other privileged individuals and wealthy associates as she attends formal parties. Due to the direction I chose, I cannot simply make a hard reset without doing something big.

Important starting details of her story are still in the works, but I wanted to know if you guys wanted to be guest starring in the story for the reboot. However, changes will likely be made later on, so have backup ideas along the way. Creating a new character to be part of it will always be welcomed as it is also always welcomed to use pre-existing characters, but keep in mind that you gotta make sense because it would not make sense to suddenly drop in and say, "Hi! I'm Hanako's best friend, fiancee and pet rabbit!" without actually considering how long and how much effort it would take to become said childhood bunny friend that is maritally engaged to Hanako when Koichi comes around. The example alone is grounds for rejection all together due to the absurdity of it breaking the theme of the story entirely.

    Details on Osaka -- Version Alpha 0.0-0
  • Mostly populated with powerless humans with few humans having powers (relatively the 10% of the city's population).

  • The city has its own dome, but not as secured as Karakura Central's due to their technology not being constantly up-to-date. Chances of demons, hollows or other nasties entering the city is higher than Karakura Central by 50% (which means for each month, a minor hollow entered the city unnoticed by the security).

  • Shinigami are welcomed as along they are discreet about their dealing with bad people.

  • Iramasha are viewed as an omen of misfortune, so the Osakan are not fond of the Iramasha Clan.

  • They are radical with generalization; they clump most known races (except Shinigami and Quincy) as bad people who meant harm to them.

  • Only 3% of the population are spiritually unaware with 1% being clinically handicapped in spiritual awareness.

  • Out of the 5% of the population being wealthy families, few of them have spiritual powers with most not having powers.

  • Due to a severe drop in Shinigami presence in Osaka, the Osakan gathered the able-bodied volunteers of powerless or powered status to form a militia to keep order and to fight invaders; they are called, "The Children of the Osakan Lords" or "Coles."

  • They are prideful of their community, thus they tend to discredit Karakura Central, Tokyo or Minatumi City as the only major cities and would be quick to discredit them if a member of their own community is doing "less than sufficient" effort in contributing to Osaka, so it is possible for a zero-tiered individual to be "forgotten" by the Osakan if that individual caused public damages to the city without considering even if that individual saved them from a raging meteor falling upon them. They go by merit of contribution only to Osaka and nowhere else.

  • Hackers are considered terrorists to the Osakan, thus talking about hacking will make them very uncomfortable or quick to accuse the speaker of being one and try to get that person arrested. However, it is no problem if it was talked about privately. Hacker characters will have to find someway to leave their hacking skills anonymous.

    Glossary
  • Character = Your planned or existing character in Platinum Hearts.

  • Theme = Which kind of thread your character would focus more in. Like "Combat" or "Social" or "Training"? It does not matter how often you play in it, but it will be a promise as that theme is where you should really shine as a character.

  • Player = Who are you?

  • Relationship: Hanako = What relationship you want between Hanako and your character?

  • Relationship: Koichi = What relationship you want between Koichi and your character?

  • Role = What role you would focus for the story; not everyone is a protagonist or antagonist.
    Protagonist = Main story character.
    Antagonist = Main opposing character.
    Support = Side character siding Protagonist.
    Rival = Side character opposing Protagonist.
    Background = Not always physically present, but has influence to the characters.
    Force of Nature = Nonnegotiable conceptual character meant to challenge the development in a big way.

If you want to fill in the role as one of the characters mentioned with "NPC/Open", then let me know and we can talk about em.

"I took roleplaying and storytelling with a live-and-let-live attitude, thus the idea of a character doing something out-of-character would add more to the character than letting it stagnate into an archetype or a character. Here: A rapid change to a character must be met with an in-the-moment conflict. Ta-da! A rule to live by!"

Talked with Viz and added his character, Hayato Nishi to the roster.

Added characters that will be Named NPC's and later on be full-fledged characters when they are deemed playable. You can choose to adopt them and create them under your own discretion; for major changes to them (aside from their role), you will have to talk to me.

Added details to elaborate what is there to expect from different fields.
----Role
----Theme

First Arc is under construction. For those who wanted to be part of it, contact me via PM and pitch me what you can offer to the side-series about Hanako and Koichi's relationship and struggles to stay together.

There is a change in approach, but the context may stay the same. Also added in previously associated characters.
