it, was a wonderful mid-day, for the festivities that were about to occur. a time where it was finally some time, to relax. especially for our warriors, who were always fighting many restless battles, almost to the point of exhaustion. So, why wouldn't they deserve such a wonderful time?; They truly needed this. people were happily, walking towards the festival area. they were also happy to enjoy this time, after the horrid 400 years. it was always good, to have a amazing festival. lots of festivities were happening everywhere. everyone, was enjoying a time, which was void of any war. and simply a time to relax, and breathe in the fresh air. people continued to run, as music begin to blast, it was a wonderful dance beat, and it got the people fired up, as they felt the passion in their body. it was quite the entertaining sight, the events that were to come had not even started, and everybody was already enjoying their time, dancing to this awesome beat. the two moderators, for this certain point of the festival, were going to make a grand entrance, but it was not their time yet. So, while the people waited. they surely didn't have any time to lose disinterest, after the music played, fire works begin to shoot out. that could be seen as clear as day. "Wonderful!" one girl exclaimed, excited about the decorative fire works. each were swirling and exploding in dazzling colors. Whoever, had planned this part of the event, surely had good taste's and a wonderful mind, to party. this day, or even night. was surely going to be a wonderful, and amazing time. everyone was excited, cheering and dancing to the beats. it was time to excite them even more.
a stage begin to appear from under ground. as two shadows, appeared in darkness. the figures, were dark and their appearance couldn't be seen. however, both of them lifted their hands up. moving their fingers around, while dancing to the rhythm. with that the two landed on the opposite side's of each other and did another twirling spin. Suddenly, the lights flashed out and even more fire works came out from the stage. out of the appearance, were two women. both of them, looked quite dazzling. the first woman, went by the name of Havoc. a woman, of tough attitude, and strong idealistic views. She was one of the members of the famed Ziamichi group, the yayjuu. she worked as the mentor, mostly. even teaching shadin a few things, after she had became his friend. after a long rivalry. she was a stone cold beauty. her figure, was slender, yet firm. her body, wasn't that of a muscle builder, yet she had the right amount of muscle, and a well shaped body. her outfit, was a long silky, blue blouse. with frills, around the sleeves. she had a rose shaped pendant on her neck, and her hair was worn down in a long fashion. She had no make up, applied simply because she didn't need too. her facial features, were attractive enough, that make up would only seem to dampen, the natural beauty. She smiled and yelled out to everyone. "Alright! guys! how are we doing tonight!" she said, her voice roaring out to the crowd. the crowd, returned the same excitement, that she had. she smiled, a large grin came onto her face.
She then threw up the microphone, as she looked around the crowd. "You guys are gonna experience a wonderful time, so i hope you're ready. i want everyone of you to enjoy this night...you all deserve it" she said with a smile. she was humble, there were times were havoc could be cold, but she had toned down her attitude a lot after hanging around Shadin. She could admit whole-heartedly, that he was quite the infectious man. his attitude, pulled her out of her original hate for him, because of his demon Onii-chitta. therefore she acknowledged him as a friend, and even a younger brother to her. she reached out her arm and decided to motion for a man to come over with a basket, in the basket. 150,000 yen, was located inside it. in good honor, and since there would be prizes. Havoc decided to wrangle up some cash. While, she did that. our second, moderator of the event. Was Simply, checking out on the members, of the contest in the back room. Havoc smiled and then threw out, the yen. "Catch it, get as much as you all can collect!" with that. she ran across the stage. throwing the yen out into the crowd of people, she quickly made sure that no one would go crazy, and run over one another to get the money. Now it was Amane's turn to show up, while she prepared to bring up the tools, for the contest. "Ok...Amane...chan..." she said with another slightly seductive grin, snaked upon her face. "it's time for you to keep up the good work...i'm gonna get the contest favors ready..." she then went across the stage once again. so that Amane could make her way into the picture. Havoc, was just happy as she could be in years. Ikarumi, or even shadin would be surprised to see their older friend, acting like a young woman, again. She wasn't old per-see. But, she was a wise woman. So it was surprising in any sense to see her, this excited and peppy. it would surely be a sight to remember, for anyone who knew her. it was definitely turning out to be a wonderful day, that had just started as well. "Alright..." a voice could be heard, as the lights turned red.
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
There, Amane stood, wearing a wonderful set of clothing. She was a talented person with a very high sense of fashion. She considered herself to be Zin's right hand man. She came out with a red blouse shirt, which was sleeveless, all the way up to her very shoulders. the color, was complimented with her black short skirt. showing off quite a bit of her legs. her dark red hair, was tied up in a bow. to finish off, the wonderful and drooling look. She had long red stockings, that reached up to the skirt, but stopped at a mid point. Then, there were her long high heel white boots. Finishing off that look. despite looking so seductive, and sexy. she was a bit nervous to come up in front of all those people. "u-um...." she held the microphone, like she had a few jitters. this wasn't really her field of expertise. as she was quite shy, at times. Especially in front of so many people!; what was the vizard woman to do?; she could surely tell. these people were ready to enjoy the festivities. So she stretched out her arms and took a deep breath. "Well, as you know i'm not as hyperactive, as my other assistant who greeted you....So...um....please enjoy the yen, and then feel free to ask us any questions, to make your time better. Also be sure to apply for our contest's. in this part, of the festival it will be cooking, to begin with. after the chef's and culinary artist's complete their dishes, you can be allowed to eat free sample's and after the contest is fully complete, full dishes" she said with a chuckle. She couldn't help, but have a small taste in her mind of what the food was to taste like. after all, that's the main part she was waiting for anyways. Eating. Havoc was more versed in a beat down, and she was going to moderate the martial arts, part of the event.
Amane, then smiled as she seen, the yen going into the crowds, hopefully some people would benefit from that. Amane seen havoc, on her part of the event preparing the fighting area. it seemed to be like that of a closed area. almost like a boxing ring, but more wide. with a lot of space. Therefore, the fighters would not worry about the closed space, so they could properly hone their flexing, So with that Amane looked around and grabbed, a drink. She was quite interested to see how this night would go. She hadn't attended many of these parties. But, tonight was different. After all, she wanted to have fun, her self. She wondered, what zin was doing at his part of the festival. she hoped he wasn't causing too much of an insane ruckus, or chaos. After all, she knew how that man could be, at various times. he wasn't a normal party, person. he was always the guy to take it up a notch. While havoc, was completing her part. Amane was looking out. to see the applicants, so she could let them apply fully, they had to hurry soon. things were about to begin in a few. There was some time, to get their culinary decisions, prepared. herm mind, kind of felt like it was in a million places, but despite all of the jitterbugs she felt. the people's happiness, and their excited spirits, were enough to knock all the nervousness back like a home run, in the base ball field. She sipped her drink a bit while keeping a look out for the applicants. Just, when she did...another person quickly made their way through the crowd.
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
A young man, could be seen running, up towards and through the crowd. "Excuse me, Sorry. Excuse me, move please!" he said with a slightly large bag. as he did. the boy's figure, came into full view. he took a deep breath, from the run. feeling a bit winded, he had ran quite a few miles to get here, though that was because he missed his ride, originally. "ha.....ahhhh...." he took a deep breath, as he quickly caught wind of himself. "Aye-ya, Rino-san really needs to wait up, that girl will be the death of me one day." he was referring to a partner, he worked with at a shop, along with his life long friend Hirano. "So....i wonder, if i made it here in time..." he said, a slightly worried look on his face. he moved some of his red, short hair. it looked spiked, but it was more of a wavy, look. it was just very short. the young man's wear consisted of a long v neck shirt, with long sleeves. it had the color of black. the sleeves were rolled up a little bit, but not by much. his pants, were a dark blue color, and they were held up by a leather black belt. his figure, wasn't too masculine, but it was a toned build. he didn't even really think about wearing clothing to show off, and was just here to enjoy himself for two things, Cooking and martial arts!; he, loved to cook. he had trained his entire life in cooking. his mother, was a wonderful chef. and the meals were always in a wide variety. Thus, the source of the man's cooking skills, and admiration for the art came from her. Who was he exactly? well, it wasn't a house hold name. No one probably even knew him a lot, except for the friends he made in school. his name was Emiya Shirou. a Sugiura, though, most of his time he spent his life, as a normal human. while going into the Sugiura world to train, he had even recently, By Misaiko's request. became the former captain commander Tsubine Zarkonheiz's Pupil.
Thus, there was no telling this boy, had potent potential. "Heh..." he smiled, as he had made his way through the crowd of people. While, he did he had seen that he made it just in time, the people hadn't started yet. So, he had enough time to set out his cooking utensils, and come up with a plan of a dish to make. he didn't want to make anything too extravagant, after all his mother. always told him; "even the most basic things, in life can be our most valuable" Shirou took that too heart. he was quite versed in some culinary skills, and even knew how to cook Worldly dishes, including things from America, to Germany, to even Russia. He smiled, with an excited grin over his face, it wasn't a wide grin, but more of a smile. he clenched his hand, while he held the bag, with his other hand. "I'm Ready..." he was also interested in the martial arts tournament, that would occur, after the conclusion of the cooking event. But, this was where he thought he shined most. in the culinary arts. Little did he know, there was probably going to be someone, just like him. He, was hoping he didn't have any competition. However, that was childish and he knew it. He knew all goals in life, did not come easy. he was actually more excited and wanted competition. that would make the victory all the more greater, and give him a enhanced sense of pride, though with how modest he was, most would be surprised, for him not to toot his own horn. That, was the good thing about him, he was a male with a good sense of honor, and a modest attitude. So there it was...time to start off a wonderful event. which was about to begin, momentarily. Shirou waited for the event. while sorting through his culinary utensils. while reading, a few recipe books. to be safe. "I surely won't lose...' he said with a small smile, crossing his cheek.

[Archer, the nameless Hero]
Moving through the crowd was now another figure. Pushing himself forward with no concern for others, he got more than one displeased look and insult thrown at him, but the man with the tanned skin did not care. Moving forward without looking back, besides him was a girl, wearing a red cloak, in the same color as the mans red cloth parts on his armor-suit. Little did the people know that now cursed at him from behind, and even less did his 'target' know of who he actually was.
The man who had no concern for others in his eyes was a person only known in the Sugiura-lands through legends. A fighter of old time, the one who ended a war with one move - he was Archer, the nameless hero and former bodyguard of the supposedly deceased first king of his people, Otoya. However, he knew that the boy he was following now was from Sugiura blood - but had something special about him. If the first glance of Archer was true, then this boy had 'the potential'.
And if that was true, then the nameless one had no other choice but to awaken the full power of his potential arch nemesis, and make him see the truth - or kill him. But not today, oddly enough. Today was just the first lesson for the kid.
"You sure it's him?" Leaning onto him, the girl looked to the right. There he was... the red haired boy with fire in his eyes. Archer simply nodded, his face grim as always. The girl just sighed. Anyone spiritually aware would notice that the man in red and black was a Sugiura, or at least very similliar to one, and that this girl was a Guardian Beast.
Walking over to Amane, Rin - that was the name of the girl in red - took care of the registration. "I won't help him with the cooking, no worries. Archer'll take care of this contest in a breeze." With a confident and mocking smile towards Shirou, she returned to her companion. For her, there already was no doubt who was the better cook.
Archer took out the few cooking utensils he brought. Unlike Shirou, there was no single book to be found on his side, and no single knife, either. Closing his eyes for a moment, Archer whispered one word.
"Projection."
Out of nearly nowhere, multiple sharp and elegant kitchen knifes materialized and hovered in the air before landing on his side. Ingridients would be given out by the personell of the event, but anyone was open to use their own stuff, too - so the man took out the small bag he had been carrying. A magnitude of different spices and two fine grains, one salt, one sugar, were now fine and ordered on the workplate, as the man who normally had a bow or blade in his hand looked at the boy besides him with a slightly arrogant face.
"Tsk..." Without even saying anything at first, Archer simply rolled up his sleeves to prepare for the cooking. His grey eyes, the color of steel, looked cold like ice. "You are such a kid. Maybe the only one with slight talent here, but you waste it with instructions. If you don't know how to cook on your own and improvise, go home now, and take those recipes with you." The voice of the ancient Sugiura was cold and filled with cynism.

(Time Section 1)
The festival...it is entirely new to the Bai as she wanders around with her eighth child in her arm. Though her children are already in the Shinigami Academy to train them to be like their grandmother, Shimura, her infant son was still too young to even leave the safety of his crib in Bai’s room. Fireworks going off, people scrambling for papers and metal discs no bigger than her hand. As a spirit, normal folks would simply phase through her without any problem, but if she was bumped by someone, she knows that the person is spiritually aware. Games, food, drinks, scandals and sex in the darkness behind the stalls, Bai suspected many things...except for the sex part; it is more of Bai’s imagination when festivities popped into her head. Bai looked around for tough-guys she would at least ask, but even if she finds one, he has to know she exists. Her last husband was a bastard who betrayed her while she was carrying his child. Bai managed to kill the guy with one-point-two-one jiggawatt of electricity by stray luck. Even luckier than her sisters would say since her eighth child is in her arms instead of fried with that many watts. It was Bai’s quick thinking that killed her last love and saved her unborn child.
(Baiseirei) “Awww~ So many punks...so many sexually dysfunctional jocks...why is that teen girl hanging around with a guy with a pride the size of an earthworm?”
While walking around, she criticizes many men who (as she described) wanna-be badasses. She spoke her mind out loud, though she is pretty sure most would not hear her over the chatters of loud-mouthed simpletons. Amazingly enough, her child was asleep while harmlessly snuggled in her right arm. Bai looked at her son and knows that she is a spirit and by being born from a spirit, he is a spirit like her, not human like his father. However, something remained locked away in Bai’s memory and suppressed away was something that Bai was not proud of and Misaiko, her sister was the only one who knew of that secret. Fortunately, that moment of deep thought was disrupted by the music playing in the air. She looked at the cooking contest because she is hungry for an obvious reason; she missed breakfast because of a scare that her eighth child gave her. Who are they that Bai see? One is a boy who is fumbling with his recipes and the other is a lean man with white hair in red calmly setting up his set of knives as they are attending a cooking contest. By the sight of it, Bai became interested. Never once she sees two Sugiura competing against each other outside her home dimension. The man in red is recognizable the moment Bai sets her eyes on him...Archer, the Nameless Hero who is older than her mother, Shimura. The boy...she has heard of him from Misaiko as Shirou; not much else is there to recognize him as compared to Archer.
Normally, she would charge at someone like Archer and tackle him because of her lusty favors for real tough guys, but she has her son cradled in her right arm, she wished not to hurt him in the process. So Bai walks to the cooking stall and she spy with her aquamarine eyes are two arrangements of specialized cooking utensils. Bai would be on top of stall to spy on the two cooks, but she could not risk dropping her son into a turkey pot of boiling water, so she stayed on the ground while she watch from Archer’s sideline.
Why?
She would hug him as he passes by without hurting her son.
However, she has to say it while waving to someone of Archer’s infamy from his sideline.
(Baiseirei) “Yohoo~ Archie~!”
It is in her nature to be perky to her fellow Sugiura. Though not as famous as her eldest sister, Misaiko, Bai was known to be the only descendant of Shimura who was not a wolf, just a cat...a bobcat to be more specific.
