This battlefield will take place underneath a cold and icy cavern. There are many sorts of tunnels to travel, holes to hide in and machinery to hide behind. As, throughout this environment, it is a mixture of a natural setting and a few metallic structures scattered throughout the caves. So when the combatants are ready, they can begin their combat.

It seemed that when it came to getting into trouble the demon of greed was a magnet for it, in this case however he was intentionally getting into a big hassle of whatever this tournament was. What for? Well two parts because when it comes to a big gathering of people it's usually fun to see how things are going to transpire, plus its always fun to beat on a bunch of people who don't really deserve it... Quite therapeutic~ Another reason was the prize for this strange battle world that many had gathered to. The Platinum Heart, it seemed to be a object of great power and impressive grandeur and seemed to control the fates of many in the world and as of right now in this tournament due to them struggling, smashing and eliminating others for the sake of obtain this mysterious power... For Reigen however the biggest reason for being here was that when it came to objects with power he might as well throw his hat into the ring~ Then pick it up and place it perfectly on his head of course. He had taken one item of power from the Black World and absorbed it into himself if he could do the same with this shiny heart then all the power too him~ If not then at least it will be entertaining at the least~

Now he was being called up the Demon of Greed stood now in a new land that he had never seen before, certainly it was a cold world wherever it was... The chill of the icy plane covered with random pieces of machinery made the demon shiver for a second before getting use to the sudden shift in temperature. It seemed the grand stage that was prepared for him and his opponent was quite large and filled with many hideaways and passages for sneak attacks. It seemed this tournament made it so no one had a true advantage when it came to the landscape... Though if he was fighting a certain Ice fairy right now he was sure that she would be more irritating with such a cold environment to begin with... But now was not the time for thinking about stupid people and prior battles, now was the time for seeing where his opponent was, who he, or she was and how long it would take for this battle to be over one way or another. Reigen himself found that when it came to combat finishing the fight quickly usually meant it was easier for him in the long run.

Surveying the environment for a moment he could not see anyone in his line of sight for the moment, the quiet frozen land seemed to not even move with time pressing on. "Well this tournament does seem to have some big spenders for the stages~ I would have prefered a nice summer resort or a hike through the woods or something... Then again at least my clothes won't get too dirty in this situation~" Hoping he wasn't going to eat those words... Or anything else for that matter the demon waited on the arrival of someone to challenge his current position, he was prepped and had all the time now to start understanding what the details of this little struggle he was getting into would be, for now he was going to have to see whether or not he could have some fun with his opponent or if this little battle parade everyone had joined in on would be more hassle for him than it was worth... Really only time would tell at this point.

There were many questions without a lot of answers. He had no idea how this Platinum Heart functioned, he had no idea how anything could promise the things it promised and before just recently, he did not genuinely believe it even existed. He only agreed to partake in this altercation because if there was even a possibility that the thing was genuine, he had to try. Recently however, he had begun to question just how implausible and invalid this whole thing was. There were many cases of teleportation on record, the Iramasha being the foremost practitioners of it and the isolated cases of limited teleportation manifested semi-regularly among the other species. Teleporting something or, more specifically, someone else, was another matter entirely...then doing it without them even being able to react was again another one, entirely. A contented sigh escaped him, reverberating pleasantly inside the metal casing. The teleportation, at least, did not have any adverse effects upon his Akagai. The system diagnostic showed no internal or external damage and everything was operating precisely as intended. There were concerns however. Moroi had no idea where he was and as massive as his energy reserves were, he could not pilot the Akagai indefinitely. He was certain handling this present altercation was not going to be a concern, but should others arise, should he not be given time to recharge should he arise from this one victorious, that would be a concern.

However, it was a concern that was ultimately irrelevant in the interim. Wherever he had been sent was an unknown, outside of the climate indicating a northern area of the Earthen Realm, he couldn't actually verify if he was still on Earth. If whatever the Platinum Heart was, was as powerful as advertised, he could literally have been taken anywhere...which provided a lot of frightening possibilities. Moroi erected himself fully, the snow crumpling under his massive weight. The cold would not be an issue, the systems were designed to be resistant to most forms of weather and biologically the Akagai maintained an internal homeostasis, the weather should not damage him. Regardless, persistent exposure was not the best of ideas. He had no idea how long he would be here and there was no sign of the enemy or enemies he was supposed to dispatch; finding a base of operations to set up was the most immediate concern. He would then focus on finding whoever he was supposed to take care of here. Moroi deployed two of the funnels, the two chutes jettisoning from his back, before the pair rifled down through both sides of the cavern. Moroi took a tentative step further, testing his weight against the cavern floor. He was massive, he needed to be careful traversing this place, which was going to be a disadvantage if he had to move around too much. It made finding that base of operations even more important.

And find one Moroi did. Seeing through the tiny optical receptacles, I.E. cameras, on his funnels, he located what was an expansive metal structure built in to the cavern wall. Was this a city underneath the ice? That was the only logical explanation Moroi had, but that still did not explain how he was picking up no life signs or thermal signatures, much less energy signatures. If his opponent was actually here, that meant they were still far away. It was hard to really pinpoint a size the cavern complex might possess, but Moroi ventured a guess that it rivaled a small country, the echos from his steps were obnoxiously far apart that without his enhanced hearing they'd be impossible to discern and the massive size of the cavern itself indicated almost mechanical and architectural design. These were sentient made, further proven by the structures built inside and if it was, there was a strong likelihood, coupled with the reverberation, that this was meant as an underground city. The only question remaining was "why."

Moroi pushed his way in to the large structure, having to duck his massive frame down to get in to the door. As much as a disadvantage as he might have in the tight corners and unsteady terrain, he was given a veritable cornucopia of toys to play with. Whoever the people who built this structure was, or perhaps it's just a construct of the Platinum Heart itself, they were not all that technologically backward. Moroi had not been afforded any of his tools, his Akagai and the accompanying weapons were all he had been afforded, but he still had the facilities inside the Akagai itself that he, while not as high a quality as he would otherwise be capable of, could still put together workable shells, empty Akagai's...drones if you will. Moroi deployed two more funnels, releasing them from his back side as they filtered out through the door and patrolled around the building while he worked. If his assumptions were right and the area was, in fact, that expansive. It'd be some time before whoever his opponent was located him, unless whatever being controlled the heart wanted an episode of rockem sockem robots, asshole edition instead of a drawn out conflict.

Hours would pass should Moroi remain unperturbed. He had managed to scrounge up the parts for five of the drones and while they were...lacking in a certain aesthetic appeal he would normally find reprehensible...they would have to make due in this current situation. He did manage to color them appropriately however, it was difficult to find the right combination of parts for a fully red, blue, black, pink, yellow combination, but you can accomplish pretty much anything if you're determined enough. Moroi reached forward, extending the hand of his Akagai toward the metal chassis of his creation. A few moments passed by as the energy left his finger tips and extended through the chassis of his newest creation, a creation that whirred to life. He repeated the process another four times, letting his consciousness pervade each of his newly made constructs, controlling them as he would his funnels. A soft sigh escaped him as he assumed control of them. If he had to avoid fighting with his massive frame in an unsteady environment, this would be the best short term alternative and would serve as a viable scouting party. He would need to take this slow and steady for the time being, he didn't have enough information yet and until he did, he'd need to be careful about his movements and conserving his energy. As his squad of colorful suits with attitude left the fortification he had holed up in and Moroi moved his first pawn forward, his thoughts were already pacing forward to the future moves. Moves that would require similar preparation. Preparation he would have time for as his creations hunted down whoever his adversary was.

It seemed that the more Reigen stood around and doing nothing the more bored he became.... It was a strange pattern that he wondered if it was something someone else would have to deal with at some point.... No this was probably exclusive to him. But by all that was good or bad he needed to do something or he was going to go mad with boredom, though such things might not be a bad idea for dealing with his opponent as he would be much more aggressive and creative if he had some need to entertain himself. But honestly if the demon of greed could find a way to entertain himself it would for sure finding whoever this enemy he was suppose to be fighting so they could actually... Well fight. Though it seemed the enemy that Reigen was looking for was still either not here or was hiding fairly well, this wasn't suppose to be hide and seek was it? If that was the case Reigen hadn't brought his tools with him for such a grand game chase. "Hmmm If this is all this tournament is going to be then I feel that I'm on a terrible around the world trip... With people trying to kill me." Stretching his arms above his head the Demon looked around, not noting anything that would be around to kill some time, then again killing time would also probably lead to the death of the thing as well~

Taking a seat for the moment on one of the more stable piece of metal not frozen over by the landscape and sighed as he picked at the piece of metal for any spare parts to fall off, honestly going to look for people was usually his thing but at this point he wasn't even sure that anyone was around here except himself. Then suddenly he was brought to light some new players to the game~ The demon could usually scour an area for an enemy by himself, but if he needed to the then it was possible his handy dandy weapon could act as a scout to find whoever his enemy is and where they are in the first place. Seems it had found such a target... Five in fact, this made things interesting but also confusing... He was sure the fight should have been one on one, even if they weren't he wouldn't have brought other in on a fight that's just poor sportsmanship! Plus he didn't like others getting involved with such 'extracurricular' activities~ The chain was slightly a ways off from him, it had been searching for a few hours by now for anyone and had only now come up with a target, as it had Reigen moved quickly and silently to its hiding spot, like a snake on high to get a good recon point of the area. Looking at these people... Reigen wasn't sure that such a prize as grand as the Platinum Heart would benefit the full spandex bodysuit society... But in the end he was unaware of the dark deeds that such men and women undertake to achieve their ambitions... Of making others wear dumb outfits I suppose.

But now he could see them with his own eyes he noticed something, or at least a lack of something... The people below looked and seemed to act as if people, but they didn't give off the sense of ambition or desire that was akin to most living creatures. Most things would be able to give off a visible spectrum to Reigen so he could track who would be easy to make a mark/deadman. But these soulless being seemed to hold nothing other than an aim he supposed to find him and either defeat or put Reigen into one of those costumes. A green one of those might not be so bad though... Probably the best of such dumb outfits... This train of thought was going to dark and terrible places too quickly, so Reigen decided to make his mind up and jump head first into the action~ As the drone like people seemed to scour the area they would begin to hear the sound of a clanking chain on the walls of the caverns that seemed to reverberate through the entire area. The sound would be easy to pick up but its point of origin would seem to be from many places at once so the tracking would be difficult. With the spandex squad moving through the halls the prevalent sounds of chain hitting off the walls of ice would be more and more prominent. "Soooooo I'm guessing whatever sent you thought this tailoring choice was the best idea." The voice would appear behind the yellow suited human figure, suddenly a chain would pierce through its upper torso along with an arm revealing the insides to the Demon.

"Oh... So some sort of machine that walks upright... Well at least you seem to be go for recycling~ That and being the entertainment and some sort of children/BDSM appreciation party." Moving his hand up the chain would bifurcate the doll's head and leave only four left for the Demon to play with. "I'm guessing that whoever built you here must not want to be disturbed, and I'm guessing that person can hear me through you expertly camouflaged soldiers, but here's the thing I'll give these things, 30 minutes of my time, then whoever built them will be seeing me real soon... Okay this is a lot more fun than I thought it would be~" Grinning an almost disturbingly smug grin the demon stretched out his arms and looked at the other androids with a golden stare of terror, this is where the fun begins~

The Immoral Dealer VS The Last Wareyasui [Platinum Hearts Tournament Arc] Empty Re: The Immoral Dealer VS The Last Wareyasui [Platinum Hearts Tournament Arc]

The squad had slowed their pace whenever the rattling of the chains against the icy cavern walls had reached them, Moroi, waiting cautiously and attentively, continued assembling his next design while maintaining full operative control over his little squad. All five heads collectively moved, scanning the surroundings for whatever was generating that noise. It wasn't that much of a stretch to assume that was the opponent he was meant to square off against. The optics on his models was seemingly unable to find whatever it was that was causing those vibrations. Then the creature struck, faster than the rudimentary resources he had been afforded for optical nerves could really follow. Damage had been sustained on to the yellow soldier before the squad could fully react.

There were some surprises for the fedora clad creature however. As he would cleave in to the "robot" he'd quickly find that there really wasn't much to it. There were parts to facilitate the joints moving in a human enough manner, but for the most part there was nothing inside the thing. No real gears, no real mechanisms, no real signs that it was, in fact, a robot. It was a shell, something made to be ridden or worn...that simultaneously was doing neither. He had been given a considerable amount of information as well. Moroi saw through the eyes of his creations as the man drove his arm and the chain through the Akagai's exterior and out the other end before slicing through it and up in what was somewhat an unnecessarily showy fashion...a fashion that may just happen to get him in trouble. Moroi was not the type to really fall for baits, so the grandstanding and openly demonstrable openings was not normally something he's so quick to attempt to pounce on, but the regard Moroi had for these creations was clearly not very high. They were as cannon foddery as cannon fodder could be. It'd also quickly become clear that what might seem to incapacitate them...really didn't. The puppets, because that's what they effectively were to Moroi, were operated through his Chi and controlled remotely just like a puppet would be. As such...cleaving through the middle of the suit did very, very little. As the demon turned to address the rest of the squad, grandstanding to the max, the squad snapped in to action, though not from the one he possibly expected. The yellow suit that he had seemingly so convincingly dismantled jolted forward, its hands reaching out to grasp at Reigen's outstretched wrists, driving what was remaining of its torso straight toward Reigen's back as the black ranger flew forward, the large battle axe in its hand swiping forward, looking to cleave straight through the demon's abdomen, the others hanging back for the time being.

As this all went on, Moroi was still at work, hovering around his creation in progress, scrounging whatever parts he could from this installment as he possibly could. Size wasn't always better, but in this case, he wanted something considerably more dangerous and if he was really planning to spend a whole thirty minutes on his other, minor creations, then he would have plenty, plenty of time for his hyper advanced and not at all overly self-praising mind to finish this monstrosity. His opponent was looking forward to an especially unpleasant time...or an especially pleasant time, depending on how much he hated himself and the laws of physics.

As he cut through the colorful creature he noted its rather light construction, he had guessed it was some sort of machine but the actually parts inside was not exactly what the demon would think a machine like this would need to be walking around and acting like they were... How peculiar he had thought that such a creature was made and could move with such little effort, whoever built it was quite the impressive genius... But compliments aside Reigen didn't have time to tinker with these things when he had an enemy to catch. But as he moved to deal with the rest of them after tearing the yellow one up it seemed that its plans were otherwise to keep his attention on it. In fact even after losing a large portion of its torso and its head being cut in half the thing could still move, and grabbed the Demon for a chain attack!

As he looked back to the yellow one its body trying to push him forward, the Demon noted that he was going to have an axe in him if he didn't do something. "Well puppets that get broken should stay off the battlefield... Get off me~" As he had his attention turned to the yellow one Reigen seemed rather amiss of the other wielding a battleaxe in his direction, but that because he had another set of eyes on it... The whipping of a chain bursted out of the dark recess of the Demon's coat, its tip ready to strike directly towards the opponent who was looking to attack its master, as the other colored defender looked to strike the chain wrapped around it and moved to seal its arms and torso, snaking around the creature and looking to keep it from making a new air hole in Reigen's expensive clothing. For the yellow suited puppet? At this point it seemed the Demon was checking his cufflinks for damage, the puppet? It seemed that it had all but apparated from its holding position as its moment flew it forward and its new location would have its creator hearing a large banging on the ground where he had taken refuge.

"Hmmm So hiding out somewhere, not a bad idea especially when you have such competent soldiers to fight your battles for you." As he moved to the caught opponent the chain would crush its body slowly, but as the insides slowly seemed to deflate due to the lack of parts inside the demon would sigh. "I hate dealing out tropes but the black guy is probably gonna die first." As the chain moved around the body it would begin to cut into the body of the black suited puppet with its tip, suddenly as soon as enough of the chain flooded the suit the body would explode outward, pieces and tech and spandex alike as an innumerable amount of chains seemed to be released from the inside, tearing outwards like eels being born from an oversized human shaped egg. Smiling at the suit seemingly torn to pieces Reigen looked to the others as they watched for what was coming next, the Demon wasn't sure if the black one could get back up from that considering it would need to make itself a fairly new body to start crawling around like the other one did, all the while he noted what he was feeling from the other one. "Just a bit off from here... Seems he built these things on site, or perhaps he made them elsewhere... Either way I'm thinking going over there and taking a look will sort things out after dealing with the rainbow brigade over here~" Looking over to the remaining three Reigen beckoned to them with a mocking motion akin to a dog, it was more for the fact he could tell these things weren't worth anything to him or their owner other than to waste/gain time so the gentleman Demon was finding it more appropriate to give his opponent a deadline as he was planning on finishing the rest of the multicolored dancers with together and going to find the one who built them to... Well that's what the journey over there would be for~

Moroi was undeterred, as could be expected, the drones did not really matter. He acknowledged the functionality of the chain, apparently able to act completely independently of the demon's actions, an energy signature he had been able to determine was, in fact, demonic in nature. If the thing required no body movement from the demon to function, that meant that Reigen either fueled the thing and its movements with his energy or the thing was in some way sentient. Either way, it was information that Moroi could certainly work with. The drones were already doing their job as well as Moroi could reasonably expect...but also maybe more. The creature was arrogant, almost as arrogant as Moroi, which was honestly pretty impressive, Moroi's arrogance was the stuff of legends. Moroi was not planning to overextend himself though, based solely on his movements now, he wouldn't be able to contend with Moroi in a physical contest, a fact that was hilarious given the context, but the physical capabilities he was displaying were greater than the energy being exhibited, which again needed to provoke caution from Moroi. He was not yet concerned, but he did need to continue stressing caution. As the yellow drone was tossed around like a rag doll, the sound which unfortunately did not reach Moroi as it was already established he was substantially farther away than the sound of such a small object could reach, the others were not sedate. As the chain moved to puncture the black drone, its compatriots were not idle. Obscured from Reigen's view behind the black one, the pink drone dropped to one knee and leveled its bow at the black drone.

As his opponent finished his egg metaphor, the pink ranger fired and truly displayed the mathematical mind its controller possessed. Simply from the changing contours of the black drone's skin, Moroi had effectively calculated how many chains were being spawned, where they were being spawned, and when they'd move sheerly off the physics while simultaneously calculating the perfect trajectory to fire the projectile through the exploding drone. As the chains rocketed out of the black drone, the arrow fired, weaving effortlessly through the chains already in motion, feasibly rendering them unable to stop the arrow. Because of the angle however, Moroi was very limited in where he could place the shot, no shots to a vital area were available with any kind of acceptable success rate, leaving this as the most viable and efficient shot to take. The arrow was hurtling straight to Reigen's left shoulder, hoping to skewer his rotator cuff with the large piece of metal. Should the shot ring true, Moroi expected to take away Reigen's left arm. Not remaining idle through it all, the Red Drone had flanked around and snapped forward as his black brother was torn to pieces, coming in low along the ground and hoping to hack Reigen's legs out from under him.

At the same time, Moroi was putting the finishing touches on newest creation, a creation that had exhausted the entirety of the resources remaining inside of his little complex. He wasn't necessarily more confident in this one's ability to defeat the opponent, but it didn't have to. It just needed to last a little longer than the cheap drones he had issued before. His opponent would not be able to destroy them before it could react in any permissive fashion. Moroi had made sure of that. Moroi placed his hand over the "face" of the his newest creation, a familiar glow of energy leaving the palm of his Akagai and quickly brought the creation to life. The metal monster erected itself to its feet and pushing itself in to the cold air before rocketing toward where Reigen was. It was a risk, moving that quickly in a straight line would certainly let Reigen know where he was, but Moroi was confident that after he forced his way through his creations, Moroi would be able to handle whatever threat he still posed.
