"I won't argue with that. Let's just hope our first "informant" is willing to talk before gouging our bodies." The man spoke in a very dry tone, despite the latter-half of his statement being in jest. Rafael promptly proceeded to follow the woman's footsteps, albeit a slight five inches to the left of her path. Every step he took caused the claymore he bore on his spine to rattle against its scabbard. The man's brow furrows slightly, one of the few aspects of his weapon that he detested. He could never move quietly with a double-handed sword.
The annoyance aside, the Arancar's temperament was in good humor. After all, one of the first encounters he had since the Winter War ended in obtaining an ally. Things appeared to be looking up for him at the time. However, this was no time to let his guard down. Such a mistake was the death of many a Hollow, be they Lesser, Menos, or Arrancar. So for now, he would keep his eye both on the female he tailed closely, and the environment for any inclinations of hostility.

...........................................................................................Her figure moved calm and quietly as she shifted through the sands. She didn't bother to speak to the man's words, only nodding slightly as she thought about the situation. Her eyes glancing about the sands calmly while keeping an ear out for the man behind her. She didn't want too many more surprises with her travels as she turned her head towards the direction the moon hovered, looking for signs of life. She hadn't been one to just let things move freely around her, without her knowledge. Failure to notice one's surroundings would easily be their downfall in a land of Kill or be Killed.

She continued her steps calmly, feeling the slight movements of the sand as they came over another dune. However, this on seemed to just drop into a cliff, which caught the woman slightly off guard. She felt her foot step towards empty space before pulling back and balancing herself. A sigh leaving her lips as she then let out a faint chuckle. She then parted her lips, finally responding to his words prior."If the sand's don't take us first."

Rafael followed closely, pausing when she stumbled. The Arrancar at first gazed on with an incredulous look in his eye. The silence lingered for but a moment before his newfound companion had spoken up, swiftly coupled with his own stifled laugh. The male approaches her side, inclining his torso to gain a better vantage of the drop, and where it led. Once he had straightened his spine once more, his eyes drift about and examine for a more suitable route to their destination. Wherever that may be.
"Indeed. Can never be too careful around this place, can you?" The man bends his knees, dropping his center of gravity as he crouched. He swiftly follows-up by sliding his legs out from beneath him, thus seating himself upon the edge. His palms placed firmly on the sands, he shoves himself off of the cliff and makes his descent downward. As vast as the sands were, the dunes weren't likely to extend to insurmountable heights, especially considering Arrancar had a higher durability than humans. The male's legs angle once again as his fall concludes, simultaneously causing a cloud of white to erupt around his boots. The fellow raises himself to stand proper once more. Rafael's right hand then slips out of his cloak's cover, running his digits across the fabric to remove any residue while he turns a watchful eye towards Eurynome. There was a slight glint of anticipation within his irises as he concludes his grooming.

...........................................................................................The man responding to her words caused her to hold a faint grin from under the fractured mask upon her face. Shaking her head slowly, the woman watched as he lowered himself before slipping off the dune and onto the sands below. A grin upon her lips as she noticed him land oh so easily. He held his own grace which caused the woman to nod with approval. Once he stood and looked down at her, she parted her lips to speak loudly enough for him to hear her.

"I hope you can catch." She said to him before bending her legs at the knees and pushing off, straightening out her legs as she hopped off of the dune and towards the surface below. She felt the current of her long onyx hair sway as it was brushed above her by the winds, exposing her figure better for a time being before she reached the surface. There were two options at this point, the man to catch her or she'd have to catch herself. Either way made no difference to the female............................................................................................

Well, that was certainly unexpected. Had this Arrancar suddenly put her faith in him? Granted, she seemed perfectly capable of handling herself. But why let a show of good-will become wasted? The male uplifted his arms after only a few seconds of examining and calculating Eurynome's descent. His legs tense in preparation for the collision-course, ready to support the both of them when they met.
And there it was, the anticipated drop, followed by her collision with his torso and arms. Whatever stance she had taken, Rafael was made to stagger back a few inches with the impact. His gaze drops, an inquisitive quirk in his brow as he awaited her readiness. Once certain she was set, the Hollow would lower her to the ground and finally release his hold. The rags he bore would descend back around his frame when he had finished said task, with a small laugh. His steps proceed onward, carrying him further across the pale sands they stood upon.
"By the way, did you have a destination in mind, or are we scavenging for whatever there is to find?"

...........................................................................................As the female felt the cushion of being caught, her arms coiled around the male's neck out of instinct to steady herself. She looked up at him, giving a grateful nod before shifting to hop from his grasp. She didn't allow the moment to last long as the man had proven his usefulness up to this point. Her slender frame adjusting her attire, her Zanpakutō better fashioned to her hip as she let out a light breath. She had held hers during the drop to better concentrate on the situation at hand and since he caught her, she didn't have to be so tense.

"To be entirely honest with you, I have no idea where an informant would be. However, I'd greatly enjoy meeting one... Though, can always rely on the sands t-" Her words taken off guard as Eurynome felt the shifting of the sands just below her. She quickly jumped backwards, moving from the spot before the sand seemed to stay still. Rafael's brow arises once more at her sudden leap, which had interrupted her train of thought apparently. The Arrancar's gaze follows Eurynome's to the sands below. His right arm slips out from beneath his tattered coat, reaching for the grip of his own Zanpakutō. His phalanges coil like serpents around the weapon while his eyelids draw closer. His focus narrowed, he awaited whatever was to come. The male's footing also shifted as his left leg slowly slid across the pale grains beneath him, leaving a groove the same size as his boot.
In the midst of his concentration, the man's breathing grew even more steady, deep breath in, deep breath out. The tension bulged across a vein running up his throat, the firmness of his shoulders and arms. His left arm bent, and with a rotation of his shoulder, sent the rest of his cloak behind his back. His brow furrows, if something was there, they'd best make their intentions known before he arbitrarily decided they were a threat.

Deep below the sands of Hueco Mundo a being seethed. Covered in sand, the pink hair female wondered how she could have made such a great mistake. She had only meant to make a visit to Hueco Mundo, wondering what had become of her former home. Instead, she had somehow put herself deep below the sands that made up the ground of Hueco Mundo. No matter though, to an arrancar of her calabre it did not matter, she would escape this entrapment for sure. In one direction, at the very edge of her telepathic field, she sense two individual, individuals who were obviously upon the surface of the sand. So, with this new information, Kor-tatha acted quickly. Pointing her hand upwards, towards the location of the two, she quickly gathered her energy and fired off a cero. The energy surging upwards, disturbing the sand as it surged forth. The two above would definitely notice the disturbance, and this was proven correct as they both moved away from the source a few seconds before the blast shot upwards from the sand, soaring in to the air above.
With a tunnel now above her, an opening to the sky above that would soon collaps, Kor-tatha did the only thing that made any sense: she jumped. Surging upwards as the tunnel slowly started to collapse, using sonido to burst her speed as she escaped the prison of sand, she let herself leap in to the sky as she cleared the lip, her bare footed feet landing softly on the ground. Turning towards the two individuals who she had noticed before, a grin spread across the brown eyes arrancar's face as she brushed off her pure white vestments. Though her mouth made no movements, her voice would surge in to the two individual's minds, carried by her telepathic field directly to their minds.
"So... what do we have here..."

"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"

The violet-tressed man's left brow arises a few centimeters across the flesh of his forehead at the sudden intrusion into his head. For a few moments, his optics drift about while he keeps his countenance directed towards the newly-arrived Arrancar. Perhaps she had companions of her own nearby? When such a thing seemed unlikely from his preliminary investigation, Rafael shifts his footing, setting each beside each other. His grip on the hilt of his sword, remained intact however.
"A couple of travelers, you could say. Name's Rafael. Now who are you and why are you here?" Some of his tension eased, but not within his sword-arm. If this Arrancar proved to be hostile, he did not want to be caught flat-footed.

...........................................................................................Staring softly at the new-comer, Eurynome merely watched with her hand readied at her blade. It wasn't often she ran into others which weren't hostile within the sands and having two in one evening was certainly false. No way could such a thing happen, or had the times truly changed while she remained hidden away? The bright blue eyes of the woman examined the new pink-haired female before them. She seemed more curious about them, rather than being aggressive. If anything, such made Eurynome all the more suspicious.

Allowing her companion to speak on the matter, she merely remained silent and waited for the other to speak. It was odd to say the least that she had not sensed the being under the sands until there was a physical feel of movement. After a quick moment she decided to chime in to her companion's question and add her own in her usual calm and almost monotone voice."And why were you in the sand?"...........................................................................................
