I'm kinda bad at introductions, but here goes nothin'. This is Chris, writing from germany. I've been hooked on Bleach for quite a while, discovering it shortly after the Soul Society arc came to an end. After a long pause I came back to it, since we (my RPG group) were planning to create a working pnp system which could support the setting and the awesome magnitude of power present in it. Sadly, our would-be GM hit the road before the project was finished, so the likelyhood was quite large that I'll not be able to RP anything Bleach related in the years to come.

Then I stumbled upon this site, which, as a junior GFX artist, left quite an impression on me (*tips hat*).

Admittedly, it has been quite a while since I signed up to any kind of forum. Despite being somewhat of an RPG vet, I've dropped forum-based RPG for platforms which allow for a quicker pace some 7 years ago. I've been active on BleachExile under this very name for about a year, and designed a few character concepts I might want to try out. I also have a very good friend whom I convinced to create a char here if the conditions are favorable.

That said, I've spent some time reading up on lore and rules, and a few questions came to mind. Please excuse me if these have been answered in some of the help threads, but here goes:

- Is it allright to roll chars who "missed" the changes in the past few hundred years somehow? I would be more comfortable "discovering/learning" things via PH vets who know the jazz than make clumsy attempts to catch up on my own ^^.
- Are canon characters of fixed strength or not? Ex., if I'd roll the former Tres' fracción, Cyan Sung-Sun, could she achieve Segunda Etapa and similar levels of...eh, arrancardom :D?
- Are all Arrancar "naturals" since the Hogyoku isn't turning them anymore? Can a Hollow character change his/her race to Arrancar via an IC event?
- Is it possible to roll Vasto Lorde level hollows with Shadow's Fall monitoring Hueco Mundo?

I created a Quatro Espada for a fanfiction-contest once, and I'd like to play her very much. Espada, however are not entry-level characters, and I think we'd both enjoy trying to earn our seats. Our idea was to start out as two Vasto Lorde, hiding out in Hueco Mundo, causing a ruckus until Shadow's Fall would send someone out to hand us a recruitment pamphlet (read: stomp our guts out until we yield), who can then introduce us to the wonders of arrancardom, Shadow's Fall and F.U.N.


If there is someone specific I should ask about these things, please point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance!

Yo, Names Blade, nice to meet you. Moderator. Friend. Ally. Dork. Whatever you'd like to call me. We as a community are opened to all the ideas that you've thrown our way and some of these things are already implemented. Normal character progression is applied to Canon's when they're being rolled by a person and with that, any threads or events done in character would be able to bolster that canons abilities. The only problem we've ever had there was doing something like not following the canon's true purposes and personality. I know the ideas you've brought forth, if you need any help with anything we here in the staff are more than willing to do so for you. :3
